{Major Implied} #TheBeginningSpoilers #The Beginning Spoilers
('The Beginning' initial rambling under 'read more')
{Note: This is some of my reaction BEFORE Seeing}
[So please note I Will Add Additional Contexts I got later
but for the most part...]
THIS IS THE CLIP I was Referring to in advance
{WARNING FOR} MAJOR RUI-INVOLVED The Beginning Spoilers
(I was talking to a mutual who gave me a run-down review)
(If you can't tell, I was Venting at concepts like infertile parents being treated/handled as a potential) Negative
Further Reading:
Koushiro's + Izumi Family's Timeline {Notes} in Hikarigaoka
*I mention something towards end but I was mis-remembering what it was called and it's more like 'premature birth'
that leads to "early" death...
{And yes we've even had this happen in my ancestors' pasts too, notably on my Grandpa-married-to-J E W I S H-grandma ends' end. Grandpa E.'s youngest sibling {not even a year old} passed that way, along with the child of a cousin + their fam much later on, and they (both) have dedicated spots in our familys' plot, also very near where my J e w i s h Grandma is now buried.
... So I Have Feelings on Such Issues, Too.}

Do you remember episode 12, season 3 of Xiaolin Showdown when Chase was trapped on that machine thing that was brushing butter or whatever all over his chest? Well, hypothetically speaking if First walked in on that situation, how’d he react?
Ok I cackled unreasonably loud at this ask
listen i rewatched the episode (for science) and honestly the unexpected fanservice torture dungeon happened much differently than i remembered lol (also how fucked up is that right after Jack straigth up murked older monks?? wild)
but anyway basically what First Ninja saw
ive been on internet too long not to see all of it now
congrats Jack you managed to traumatize a 800 year old ghost.

Oh sweet! Looks like Trimax vol4's when Vash actually starts calling Meryl by name on a regular basis
As before--for context, he'd typically used the more distant, but still respectful 'insurance-san' to refer to the girls, but Trigun vol2 (right before Fifth Moon) was the first time he ever said her name so seriously, which was a very Big Deal to her, and their last exchange for 2 years.
That upon their hospital reunion scene in Trimax vol3, genuinely happy and relieved but still awkwardly not quite knowing what to say to each other after all this time, she bonks him for trying his 'old' way of address--denied! No more of that please; say her name!
So aha, here in Trimax vol4, after Zazie captures Meryl as a 'weakness' to bait him and things get personal...there it is. Now he's quite direct and no-nonsense about it! Surprising Milly and shocking even his opponents (in a 'whoa wtf, he behaves nothing like Knives!' kind of way by jumping out of a window for her) with his immediate 'cut the bullshit; I don't care about your games, I'm only here for Meryl; give her back' >:[ attitude!
(For reference, Milly generally calls Meryl 'sempai' while Wolfwood calls everybody nicknames, referring to the girls by their big/small heights. So Vash asserting a First Name basis for her is pretty significant.)
And just to check if Vash continues using her name, on his Important Mission to find her, even all alone, no matter what (Trimax vol5 spoilers)...
Oh yes he does. (Face to face now.) She's that important to him.

like he admitted to it. that was an admission of guilt more than anything and people are going to accept that is it should be, and he is never going to be able to produce content again without being reminded of it and thats good thats so good and shubble is incredibly brave for that

the praise rhaenyra gets for being a “feminist queen” or someone who “cares about women unlike *insert character they don’t like*” is so unbelievably ridiculous it makes me laugh. so many team black stans love to paint alicent as a misogynistic demon who hates her daughter and will then use rhaenyra as the antithesis of this as if that woman didn’t deliberately undermine baela and rhaena’s own very much legitimate claims to driftmark to further her own agenda. she passes them off as contenders all for the sake of her sweet illegitimate son, whom she knows genuinely has no claim, and thinks all is well after proposing a lousy betrothal (which she makes BEFORE consulting either girls).

The Beginning honorifics
Daisuke -> Hikari: I didn't catch off the top of my {memory} (I'm pretty sure it's still 'Hikari-chan') but Daisuke's DEFINITELY NOT using 'Yagami' for Hikari in any fashion whatsoever, so it's NOT Downgraded.
Hikari -> Takeru: Still 'Takeru-kun'
Ken -> Daisuke: "DAISUKE{!!!}" {UPGRADE}
Ken -> Miyako: "Miyako-san"
Miyako -> Ken: "Ichijouji" (was it -kun or -san??)
Either way, it's definitely "Ichijouji", and I didn't hear/see a "Ken-kun" from Miyako the whole thing.
(I seem to remember a conversation on how Meiko -> Taichi went from "Taichi-san" to "Yagami-kun" and everyone took that as a negative...) {Just saying...}
Personally I still think that was the completely wrong way to take it but What Do I Know
02 Chosen -> Koushiro: "Koushiro-san"
- Koushiro's not referred to as "Izumi" or "Izumi-san" or "Izumi-senpai" the whole thing. I'm pretty sure Miyako uses 'Koushiro-san' too.

Funny as fuck that one of the hints pointing to the train being a badnik was that the food was shit despite how fancy everything else seemed. Because of course a train line owned by Eggman would have fucking instant ramen as its main speciality.
