i wanted to make an alternate more canon-compliant butterfly Howdy... similar but Different! the wings were a pain in my ass!

#tried to keep the basic vibes of the og look #incorporate the eyespots and all that #i just wanted to do this since the og look bothers me!#it was made for an au and so i leaned more towards a realistic butterfly look #this was a fun challenge!#i lied i hated it. coloring this made me want to toss my tablet in the trash #getting the wings to mesh.... Ugh....#scribble salad #yassified howdy <3 #so much fluff to contain!!!#i imagine that he got sally to tailor his shirts and stuff so his fluff could Fit #i think his apron would be blue now???#basically it and his blue striped shirt switch colors!#since he's already Very blue / cool colored #in my mind the spiral part of his wings is a little 3d and slightly Plush!#he's got some Texture to 'em!#as you all can see im a fan of gradients and Dots

Jack decides he needs a bit of time away from family to mourn the loss of his one sided friendship with Vlad and Vlad's death. So he takes a trip to Gotham. On this trip, he runs into Damian and Tim, who are convinced he's Captain Marvel in disguise.

Meanwhile, Jason's also run into Jack as he's coming into his ghost powers. Jason starts freaking out because someone just saw him when his new powers started glitching. Panicking only worsens the situation as now he can't figure out how to get his foot un-caught in the cement.

Jack, despite not knowing if this kid is a halfa or not, decides to give him advice based on how Danny told him his powers work. It works.

Now, Jason has a sort-of mentor that he didn't ask for but definitely needs, and Jack has something to do while he sorts out his feelings on the whole Vlad-was-never-his-friend thing.

Eventually, Damian and Tim catch them while Jack is trying to explain how Jason might have a second form. While Jack explains, Jason just transforms. His ghost form isn't what either expected. Jack was expecting something similar to Danny's or Vlad's. Not a winged little kid with a mask.

To be honest, this just solidifies that this guy is Captain Marvel for Damian and Tim. Obviously he decided to teach Jason magic.

Thalia's color is ultramarine, Jason's color is cyan, Percy's is teal, Bianca's is green, Nico's is olive, and Hazel's is gold.

The big 3 kids make a color gradient in order (Zeus [sky] > Poseidon [ocean] > Hades [underground]) hope this helps

#its not my fave fave color but i love love love slate blue....#i enjoy many blues mostly leaning toward green than purple...i dont enjoy purple #i think this blue fits talon but i dont want him to be So Me so he likes the more purple blues mainly #(in my doodle pages slate blue is usually just grey but the bg color makes it look more blue)#i still love how it looks as a grey blue #a doodley #i think he'd like it darker of course but making it darker on this page just makes it more evident that its just grey LOL looks less blue #''is dressed'' because al and smunker have to sort of build his wardrobe for him #as well as actually physically dress him a lot of the time due to the health issues #thje exception to it all is he really does love wearing big t shirt and nothing else (at home)#in all forms (furry or not)#BECAUSE it makes him feel cold but in that tingly way where u can curl up in bed and wiggle around to get warm.#do u understand me. i love doing this like when its cool in my room at night + remove an article of clothing #so that it feels MORE cool and I get to really appreciate warming up under the covers #anyway all subject to change of course. lots of talon details still elude me i cant fully crack him at all

i am okay with greylock's design but obviously they didn't give him more than one outfit. i mean it's not wrong, giving him another suit for the conference wouldn't help the recognizability, and he's not important enough to give him several clothes sets anyway

but he's important for me okay! i felt like this man would want to appear flashy and get all the attention on some important occasions, he needs cool clothes! and not cool ones too, i won't let him run around in same robes both in summer and winter wtf

all in all here they are - the alternative clothes i thought of

the top one, the second row and the middle one are for special occasions, the rest is for everyday work in castle and home

I have been going over the seasons looking for all the evidence of the whole epic primary color theory connected to El, Mike and Will. And ngl this moment right here had me spiralling.

THE SAD PAUSE UPON THE REALIZATION WILL IS STILL MISSING AND THAT EVEN THOUGH HE HELPED THIS GIRL WHO WAS LOST IN THE WOODS AND HOPED IT WAS A SIGN, IT PROBABLY DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING.
