A drabble I guess?

A random idea I just had based off this prompt I have not featured a male OC yet, not as lead, so wanted to try something different.

Omc: Gabriel Thompson (fc: Jesse Williams)

Corinthian alias name for the school: Cori and Mr.Nathan

Gabriel slowly packs up his things as the kids file out of the room. It’s nearly 4:30pm now and he’s done with after school tutoring for the week.

Gabriel does a double take, he must be hallucinating, there is no way in hell the man casually exiting that car is who he thinks it is.

“Hey Cori!” Jed steps out from behind him and runs down the stairs.

Gabriel drops his bag on the floor and catches up. Then quickly standing between Jed and the man.

“Well,” the Corinthian breathes, “look who it is.”

“Is this - “ Gabriel looks at a confused Jed, then back at the Corinthian, “is this your guardian?”

Behind them the door opens again, it’s Mrs. Kay, one of his teachers.

“Hi Mrs. Kay.” The Corintian waves at her, she waves back excitingly.

“Hey you two! Get home safe now.”

“We will,” he turns to Gabriel who is staring at him, “what can I say? They like me.”

Jed gives them one more puzzled look, then gets into the car.

Gabriel shakes his head in disbelief, “this can't be real.”

“Oh but it is, “ the Corinthian leans against the driver seat door and slowly looks Gabriel over. The Corinthian is impeccably dressed, as usual, and wearing his signature sunglasses.

“Who let you adopt a kid?”

Jed cuts in, “He’s not a bad guy, not anymore. He promised.” He goes back to flipping through the comic book.

The Corinthian smirks, then reaches out to touch the button of Gabriel's blazer, “I’ve changed.” The grin lingers on his lips, “I don’t do stuff like that anymore - you heard him.”

Gabriel slaps his hand away.” last time i saw you, “ he leans in closer, dropping his voice to a whisper, “ you tried to kill me.”

“We tried to kill each other.” he corrects him with a chuckle, “but look at us now.”

Gabriel tries to hold back his growing frustration, “Cori, is that your name now?”

“Mr. Thompson, is that your name now?”

Gabriel clenches his jaw, then shifts his attention to the passenger seat. “Are you okay with him? If not - “

“Yeah, I’m fine.” Jed reassures him.

As he steps back from the car, the principal walks by, she also greets the Corthian warmly and Gabriel only becomes more confused.

“You’re just going to have to get used to seeing me around,” the corinthian opens the driver's seat door, his concealed eyes still on Gabriel.

“Yeah, I’d say the same to you.”

The Corinthian takes a stick of gum out of his pocket, unwraps it, then pops it into his mouth. He brings his last leg inside the car, then shuts the door.

Gabriels work phone goes off in his pocket again. He ignores it.

“How about you pick up that phone? Might have somebody to save.”

“Somebody to save?” Jed raises a brow and glances up from the comic.

With his hand on the wheel, the Corinthian rests his other arm on the car, “see you around, Gabriel.”

Gabriel crosses his arms bites his tongue. Before he could blink, Corintian drives off and away from the school.

“What the fuck?” Gabriel watches the car get smaller and smaller, then pulls his work phone from his pocket.
