thinking about katsuki finding out about that little crush you had on shouto since seeing close-ups of him during the televised sports festival—you were in high school then, too.

he shouldn’t care about it because it doesn’t matter, it was so long ago and shouto’s always been marketed as the pro-hero pretty boy—consistently top 3 most handsome, the front cover of magazines, all that.

this is to be expected, it’s what everyone’s been tempted to react like.

but since finding out, he’s been stewing in… in whatever this bubbling, throbbing feeling in his head means. he’s snappier than normal, face scrunched up more than usual.

and every time he sees shouto he wants to strangle the hell out of him.

OBVIOUSLY, especially considering katsuki was literally sobbing about izuku losing his quirk, he WOULDNT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. he never breaks down about stuff that seriously matters unless it’s physically impossible not to. like. it’s not out of character y’all r just once again underestimating how many walls that kid has up 😭

As soon as you finish, Percy puts all his self-control avoiding pressing his naked body against yours again and giving you neck kisses.

Because he's so passional, he loves having you close even after hours of kissing, touching, and handling you so well as those ocean waves he loves to surf.

So he rolls over and stares at the ceiling of his room, trying to calm down but still takes your hand to let you know he's there with you and won't leave you alone.

Gods, because he's such a sweetheart.

He looks to the side and admires your skin covered in a thin layer of sweat, the flush on your face makes him want to affectionately attack you, then he curses inwardly again.

He doesn't want to overwhelm you.

When he finally decides to sit on his bed, he watches you and approaches gently. "everything okay, angel?" And you look at him blushing, hiding in his sheets with a cheeky smile that he can barely see.

"Look, there she is," and he smiles at you in that way that would make you fall back into his arms.

He brushes your hair away from your face and combs it back gently, while praising you. "Good girl" "You did so well" and when he finally sees that you're better, he holds you in his arms for a few moments.

He stays like that while asking you what you want to do, giving you options: eat, shower, more kisses? (he could kiss you all the time).

He moves you to the bathroom and lets you shower, he'll probably be outside doing something for you to eat and change the sheets (because they're soaked, yk, yk)

You come out and leave him to clean up, then you go to the room and put on one of his oversized t-shirts.

You make the bed better (because your silly bf left it half made).

He watches you from the frame of his door until you see him and he approaches to hug you and give you a kiss on the forehead, even with his wet hair dripping onto yours that's barely starting to dry.

The rest of the time, you eat in bed and watch TV.

So fuckin cozy.

He's totally happy when you finally hug him tight while watching a movie because he can finally hug you, kiss you, and caress you fervently again.

He loves you, he can't be away from you.

I like to think that pre-Oracle Rachel painted scenes from both wars, but she and Percy have no idea until they go back and reflect.

Percy notices, cause Rachel shows him her art, but he just rights it off as weird, even tho something doesn’t feel right.

Like, that’s DEFINITELY a replica Achilles mourning Patroclus. Only it’s two girls, one with flowing hair and a melted face, the other kneeling over her friend, face stricken with grief. He thinks her eyes look familiar. An immortal stands over them. Although they remind more of Ares and less of Thetis.

She has another painting that reminds Percy of a story from the Gigantomachy. Hera cowers under Porphyrion, about to be attacked. Only instead of Zeus and Heracles coming to her aid, it’s a guy with blond hair. His armor and sword is distinctively NOT Greek, but he opts to not comment on it. Rachel did a good job.

There’s more in her little studio, they both dismiss them as dreams. They make Rachel uncomfortable and Percy feels bile rise the more he looks.

He doesn’t realize until months later. It hits him while on the Argo. Him, Jason, Clarisse. THEY were the heroes in those paintings. Jason was the one coming to Hera’s aid. Clarisse was mourning Selina. He was fighting giants.

It all clicked into place, and he tried to remember what else her paintings for-told.
