what I was talking abt earlier. we have fully looped back around and away from feminism, societally, whereas before it was very Feminism 101 to acknowledge that many parts of existing as a woman in a misogynistic society are painful and upsetting.
not that being a woman is Inherently Negative in a bubble. but that living on this earth, in the conditions we're living in, is hostile to women.
and that gender is a performance. that many of the Staples Of Femininity as accepted by society are things that you have to create and perform and mold artificially and aren't inherent, that COMPLAINING about day to day difficulties of existing as a woman is something that you're allowed to do.
acknowledging these basic, again, feminism 101 things, that something tied to womanhood is more time consuming or more expensive or more dangerous Because Of The Problems. does not CREATE the problems. that when women complain about having to perform femininity, they are not, in fact, oppressing themselves. the call does not come from inside the fucking house.
saying that you HAVE suffered does not fucking equate that you believe you SHOULD have suffered.
like I could talk about this for hours. how braindead and one-dimensional the Takes are getting. "being a woman is looking in the mirror and going fuck yeah i'm a woman" damn. I guess any negative experiences you have by living in a misogynistic world... are your fault if you are anything but positive?
"you don't actually want liberation" we've fully gone back to telling feminists "you WANT to be oppressed" when anything negative about our society is pointed out. it's not real until I say it out loud, I guess, and then I'm actually the one who caused it.
if anybody expresses any unhappiness with how they're treated or the status quo or the language and culture surrounding womanhood and femininity. they've created it, right that second. they invented it just now. it wasn't a problem before somebody complained, right?
also trans women aren't braindead zombies who just follow the flow of whatever cis women around them say. I am pretty fucking sure they are very much aware of pain, and are MORE than aware of the swirling torrent of misogyny and standards of femininity than anybody else. actually. and I am pretty sure someone complaining on tumblr that being a woman means always putting on a performance is going to make someone change their mind about transitioning. also "performing femininity" as a necessity to being treated well as a woman is not fucking NEWS to your Local Trans Woman. I AM PRETTY SURE SHE GETS THE CONCEPT. using trans women as a scapegoat for this braindead perspective on gender politics is spineless, meritless, and pathetic.

Postwar: any particularly amusing situation where Katara becomes even more indignant than usual
okay i know it’s cartoon physics and the cartoon violence is very funny and it’s an iconic scene from an iconic episode and "a girl has her ways" is one of the funniest lines katara ever says, but sometimes i do think about katara somehow running into those two boys she froze to a wall in gaoling for the crime of being kind of rude to aang. when they approach her, based on countless past experiences, she’s expecting them to ask her for either help with a problem or an autograph, but instead they’re like “you’re that crazy girl who froze us to a wall!!! you know we had to wait all day for the ice to thaw, only for us to fall flat on our faces from a considerable height, unable to move or to protect our faces from getting damaged because our limbs were completely frozen?? we got frostbite, pneumonia, concussions, and permanent brain damage from you!! we shattered our teeth and some of our fingers nearly fell off!! you activated chronic autoimmune conditions and shortened both our lifespans considerably!! what do you have to say for yourself after causing us unimaginable pain and ruining both our lives??” and katara just scoffs and goes “well! you deserved it for saying ‘nunya business’ to aang.” and they’re like “okay, but did we???? did we really????” and she’s like “uhhhh….. i was being a #girlboss???” and eventually she offers them free healing sessions and financial compensation but she really digs her heels in at first, claiming that she was just having a hot girl summer and that she shouldn’t be held accountable for her actions as a fourteen year old and that she can’t be a bad person because she’s ontologically Good!!!! and when they’re like “are you sure you’re not pure evil??” it triggers a crisis of identity that lasts a full month. but eventually she just forgets about it and goes back to being the Goodest person who ever lived.

Five years after their disastrous date in Ba Sing Se, Jin and Zuko (or rather, "Lee") run into each other once again when "Mushi" finally returns to reopen The Jasmine Dragon. Zuko is surprised when he sees Jin dressed in an expensive silk dress with fine embroidery and an intricate hairstyle complete with a luxurious gold and jade hair piece. On the other hand, Jin is taken aback when she sees how much "Lee" has loosened up, and how easy it seems for him to smile and laugh in contrast to how she remembered him.
As fate would have it, Zuko wasn't the only one who had something to hide back when they first met. Little did he know that the pretty, down-to-earth girl from the tea shop was actually Earth Kingdom royalty in disguise, raised by peasants in the slums of Ba Sing Se for the sake of her safety.
Since the end of the war, princess Jin has been struggling to adjust to the life of royalty that she was always destined to live, and despite the queen's best efforts, the stubborn princess has been dodging suitors left and right. Could the Fire Lord be the one to tame her?

Finally. I've done it. Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete has been officially blacklisted. I cannot deal with this bullshit anymore.
I won't speak about it ever again, and you guys should do the same thing, too. The Underage Lesbian Porn Show was just some collective fever dream that we all had. We're burying this shit six feet under, and wait until other MG anime to premiere later this year, okay? Okay.
And last but not least, here's my final message to those who unironically enjoy this series: Y'all are absolutely disgusting freaks, I am murdering you with rusty hammers in my mind, and never show up to any place with children ever again.

@fiheir
Hildr had heard quite a few people talk about a new tea shop that had recently opened up the Jasmine Dragon. If the talk around the city hadn't been enough to catch her attention was the name certainly did. She had lived the upper ring of Ba Sing Se her whole life. Her father was a nobleman who worked closely with the going ons in the royal palace. She was fortunate to be here as anyone in her station should feel. Even so there was limits on what she was able to actually do it could honestly be quite boring after a while. The same parties, the same nobles talking about nothing of real importance. It's why she liked days like today where she didn't have her whole day filled up. It gave her a chance to simply be out and see what was in the city. It was massive and there was a much larger world out there too.
Her thought paused as she came upon the tea shop. A smile. She had a feeling she would like to come to this place quite often. She asked for a table for one and took a seat. She had ordered a cup of white tea and looked around at the decorations as she waited for her tea to be brought to her.
