My favorite genre of cheesy kiddie films is surprisingly scary villain in an innocuous world about talking trains Imagine sitting in the theatres in summer 2000 expecting thomas the tank engine and instead get a character who is essentially a Jigsaw trap on wheels? Especially when such a character NEVER appeared on the show so you KNOW some shit is going down

My dad was a train collector so I was forced to watch this movie like a thousand times. I couldn’t really remember much about it until I rewatched it, though! All I could remember was liking the train’s weird faces and that there was a scary moment.
