ASTRO OBSERVATIONS PART 37: REAL LIFE EDITION 🍯 🐝

︎This post is about how Ive seen different natal & synastry placements manifest in real life situations. This doesnt mean if you have any of these aspects you will be the same or experience the same. The whole chart has to be taken into consideration.

🍯 My friend with Groom conjunct Sun and Juno in the 1st house had 3 people propose to her before she turned 20. Men proposed to her after knowing her for like a month. It was so crazy to see. I hate the term ”wifey material” but she defintiely was.

︎🐝 One of the most blessed person Ive met in my life have Bless and Fortuna conjunct his Sun. Never worked a day in his life, born to a rich and powerful family, extremely popular and well liked. And you cant even hate him bc hes genuinely kind.

🍯 I had a friend in high school who had issues with people making fake accounts of her. She have Lilith in the 11th house and Pluto in the 10th house.

🐝 This was said to me by a man with Venus in Leo when we talked about styling yourself less before going outside when in a relationship ”When my wife goes out alone or with friends she still represents me so she needs to look good” it was just such a Leo Venus thing to say.😂

🍯 Most people Ive met with a Nessus conjunction to a personal planet also had a Chiron conjunction in their chart. Because with abuse comes pain.

🐝 Also almost everyone I met with Nessus conjunct personal planets looked very different from their siblings which lead to some abusive comments from their own families.

🐝 My friend with Swindle(8690) conjunct Mercury knows every loophole in the world when it comes to getting money or benefiting from stuff. If she gets a rash or something just randomly she will take a photo and email it to the latest onlinestore she bought a cream or something on and say it was after using their cream & get money back. She will also always say atleast one thing is missing from the package she orders and get money back.

🍯 My youngest sister have Moon conjunct Saturn in the 1st house and people always expect her to be the parent or responsible person. People ask her to stand up for them and our parents expect her to take care of our other siblings without realizing that shes a kid herself.

🐝 The most sex obsessed person Ive ever met had Venus, Eros & Lilith in the 8th house.

🍯 The two biggest 🍆 Ive ever seen both had Mars conjunct Jupiter in their natal chart.

🐝 The oldest virgin I know have Saturn in the 8th house. She refuses to ”do it” for the sake of having done it and she takes sex very seriously which is considered rare these days.

The other is piss poor and will spend money the second she gets it bc its so imprinted in her brain that shes not supposed to have money. Siblings often have the same placements but you could never guess bc they handle it differently.

🍯 My little sister looks exactly like Lola the fish in the movie Shark Tale. She looks so much like a sirene so I checked her chart: Sirene(1009) conjunct Jupiter(her chart ruler) and conjunct her Sun and Venus.😳

🐝 I checked the synastry with me and my 💖favorite lover💖 aka the best sex I ever had. Mars conjunct Mars + his Sun, Moon & Venus in my 8th house.

🐝 In the composite chart with the guy who broke my heart REALLY bad. He crushed me. Composite Moon 8th house Square Saturn. Messed up my self esteem real bad.

🐝 A guy who used to always give me compliments for my voice have his Venus in my 2nd house and his Mars in my 3rd.

🐝 When I had composite Capricorn Venus & Moon with a guy it felt like a business relationship. We had like a strict routine and did the same thing everytime we met. We acted like a married couple even tho we were like 13.

they make me so goddamn emotional. first of all bart being genuinely interested in being friends with her in a period of her life where she felt like no one really wanted her around.. like the titans kinda had to look after her and the older titans saw her as an unstable child that had to be taken care of (which is correct. but she didnt like that). but BART just looked at her and thought she was cool and wanted to hang out with her <3

and him saying "its not like that" is sooo sweet bc he really just wanted to be friends with her 😭 ge*ff made their relationship sorta romantic but its so sweet that he saw her and said "idk how i feel about her but i just know i want to hang out with her <3"

also my fav thing ever is that he sees her screaming at donna and crying and goes "this is the perfect time to make my move 😎" its so fucking funny because then the NEXT time he sees her he does the exact same thing. she watched her foster parents get murdered in front of her and bart goes "hey rose! its me your friend!" ily bart. but he just keeps running into her at the absolute lowest points in her life and trying to be friends. like baby shes about to kill herself this is not the time to hang out...

and then. GOD. HELLO. tt03 #12 makes me lose my fucking mind btw

scraps of what could've been....... i assume geoff had an arc in mind where the titans take rose back (they were at least kinda hinting at it in some of the stories) and i so badly want to know what would've happened. i like the renegade arc but i wish we got a story with the titans taking her back :((( i dont trust jeff geohns with anything but... in my imagination it would've been a great story with bart coming to get her and convincing her to leave her dad

and im still refusing to acknowledge the rest of the titans of tomorrow arc because that story is so goddamn stupid and boring. but theyre married or something in it idk

(btw. i have complicated feelings about this bc as much as its in character for her to repress all her feelings with sexualizing herself,,,, ew. idk if this is johns or mckeever but its one of their faults and i know it because despite defining all the important aspects of her character theyre both so gross about her sometimes. men 👎 but thats a completely different rant)

bart spent this entire story saying she was awful and trying to murder her (they divorced i guess. stupid ass storyline i dont care) shes still sad to lose him again. this is literally the only time she lets herself mourn him and its right after hes been trying to kill her. there is so much wrong with her <3 <3 <3

also as i was looking for that panel i saw this one and i think its so silly:

anyways. then later the krul run happens and theyre both vaguely out of character but they FINALLY get to be friends again!!!!!! theyre buddies!!!!!!!!!!!! theyre hanging out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also one of my favs because i know its supposed to be "haha barts being creepy to her XD isnt that so funny" but inside my head this moment is just bart getting so excited about being on a team with rose again that he refuses to let her miss any of the action. he grabs her hand and gets her into her costume and doesnt think anything of it because hes just so happy that he gets to hang out with his buddy <3 that wasnt the writers intention. but it is to me

if youre willing to exaggerate. they r so besties here. they are taking every opportunity to hang out because they finally get to be buddies :') we still get to see bart just genuinely liking her and once again he just thinks shes cool and wants to hang out with her <3333 theyre so much fun

and i cant keep looking for screenshots because reading the end of this book bums me out since the new52 happened and they couldnt finish any of the arcs they had planned. lili worth i miss you every day

anyways yeah to answer your question. i love bart & rose 👍 the way hes one of the only people that just. likes her. hes the first person (ish) that reaches out to her after her mom died when she was at a very low point in her life and he continues to just enjoy her company and like her as a person which doesnt happen a lot <///3 there are so few people that like her and want to spend time with her and just genuinely think shes a good person but bart always does!!!!! barring t*tans *f t*morrow bart always likes her and always thinks highly of her when no ones else does 💞💞💞 theyre so sweet and i want them to interact again

Character line-up (Oldest to youngest)

So a bit of character Info:

There were more of them, but given the dangers of the monster hunter's profession, theyre the only ones left.

Hannah Pillar

She isn't the actual eldest sibling of the bunch, but among those who are still alive and somewhat sane, she is the oldest. A former mercenary whose main weapons were firearms. She was quite successful in her career but a traumatic incident happened that led to her not being able to weild a gun anymore. She eventually got hired as a desk worker in H.A. (Hunter's Assossiation) mainly handing out missions or intel to monster hunters.

She has a stable relationship with all of her siblings, sometimes the person everyone tells their worries to. She's nutruing and mature, but can also be quite cold and strict when need be. She is also often apathetic to things around her, something that got carried over even after she stopped being a hunter.

Harvey Pillar

Acting second oldest, Harvey is the genius of the group, or so he constantly claims himself to be. There is truth to what he says though since he works as a researcher in H.A. where he gathers information about the various mythical creatures the company had captured. Once, he used to admire this type of work until witnessing a thing or two which led him to be quite nihilistic. He's mainly just in it for the bragging rights and the money now.

Complete drama queen. Heidonistic and arrogant, he can come off as an asshole once he opens his mouth. Hannah keeps him in check most of the time. He does try to act like a big brother but struggles to be sincere about anything because he thinks it's a weakness. Very insecure, easily gets envious, especially of Howdy. For as vocal as he is, he does have many skeletons in his closet.

Howdy Pillar

A very popular hunter that is crowned The Hero of the Century, succeeding his late older brother, Howard Pillar. This is all due to his countless instances of saving people from dangerous monsters, especially feral vampires. Add this and his family background, he was made the H.A.'s face man, appearing in many interviews and posters for the company. He is quite the busy man, and Hannah usually acts as his manager, helping him with his packed schedule.

Howdy is closest with Hannah, but he also enjoys the banters he gets with Harvey. Charismatic and witty, many would think he is a perfect person, the ideal hero. The reality of it though is that Howdy is only in it for the revenge of his deceased siblings. While he smiles and acts relaxed in public, he is otherwise serious and gruff. Doesnt trust easy either. He also doesnt like how the media portrays him and would try to avoid being detected by anybody while he's on the job.

Honey Pillar

The youngest of the group. She is the black sheep of the family, refusing to associate with H.A. or monster hunting in general, and choosing a career as an actress instead. Despite the controversy that came with this decision, Honey ended up becoming famous because of her alluring personality on the screen.

Aside from Hannah, she despises everyone. She hates Howdy especially because of an instance that lead to her twin sister's death and her loss of 2 arms. She hates Harvey a little less but prefers not talking to him at all. Honey is a drama queen herself, but in a less direct way.

Why TotK fails Zelda

Heads up, this is a long post. Ive cut this down like a motherfucker but it still reads very long. My thoughts are divided into four main categories;

1. Her relationship with her magic & tech

2. Her relationship with Hyrule

3. Her relationship with Link

4. Her relationship with the player

Also, these are my opinions, I'm certain there are people with far better analysis skills than me! I am just in love with this franchise and a little disappointed with the recent game. Zelda as a character holds a special place in my heart and its sad that her character was done dirty like this.

Theres a TLDR at the end and before I forget, SPOILERS!!!

1. Her relationship with her magic & tech

Zelda is not someone who magic came easily to, and I think BotW & AoC did a great job exploring that. They contrasted her natural interest with the sheikah technology and her lack of power and it was 😘👌

How did TotK do? With the Zonai tech being the main selling point, how would Zelda, a scholar at heart, interact with it? To my memory, the only interaction she has is to put Mineru's soul into a piece of Sheikah tech and hand it to a construct.

Well what about magic? Finding out she has light AND time powers was at first a great throwback to OoT with the Sage of Time. The fact that her Time magic awakened immediately unlike the Light magic in the last game was a nice contrast. But then, she immediately has a similar dilemma, she can't USE her magic to propel herself forward because she doesnt know how. Unlike BotW though, she has the "mother" she was lacking to teach her. This was a decent set-up. It was different enough to be its own thing but still was familiar enough. This is up to memory 4 - Mineru's Council

The issue the NEXT MEMORY, memory 5 - Gerudo Assualt shows her being even more proficient than Sonia. We don't see her train, or struggle, or even ask a question about how the stone works. She just does. It's not until memory 8 do we see her get any guidance about her powers? And even then we don't see her attempt recall at all. In the next memory she simply uses it perfectly and effortlessly.

The purpose of her strengthening Time Magic was to get back home. Yet, she gets back home by swallowing a sacred stone, that she already had the ability to do at any point. She turns into the LIGHT dragon, using her LIGHT magic to strengthen the Master Sword. Her whole arc about her magic was pointless because in the end she used the powers from the previous game for everything important.

2. Her relationship with Hyrule

Positives first! Its clear that Zelda loves her people, and during the 7? year gap she obviously took the time to connect with them and problem solve. Penn's quest really demonstrates this, and so does the Hateno school quest. (Even if the children don't believe in the Calamity). I found it very endearing that the people had such faith in her, that even with Ganondorf causing havoc with her face, people refused to believe it. The Great Fairies MUST have seen wrong because it was dark, Dorephan MUST have been mistaken, the Stable Trotters MUST have seen someone else - Zelda wouldn't do that.

I additionally liked that Zelda wasn't immediately trying to set up a monarchy again. In fact, she seemed to be doing the opposite. She wasn't living in Central Hyrule, at Looking Landing, she was living in Hateno. She was a teacher, and on some level a researcher (even if the Don Dons were scrapped ideas from the first trailer).

But the second she goes to the past, she is put back in her box. Her interests in tech are non-existant, she does not interact with anyone who isn't royalty, the King doesn't listen to her about Ganondorf and tells her to not to worry - after all she's just supposed to wear that white dress and hope her magic works soon. She's regressed back to before the Calamity, waiting for something terrible she knows is coming and is powerless to stop.

Crucially, she doesn't speak to Ganondorf once.

This is by far the most egregious waste of their characters in my opinion, and I've just deleted a 3 paragraph Ganondorf discussion - another time. But come on! This is legitimately the PERFECT scenario for Zelda to find about about WHY people opposed her royal family, WHY everyone she's ever loved died in Calamity caused by this guy, WHY she's had to go through all this. But no, if they did talk, it wasn't on screen.

Ive seen in translations of parts of one of the interviews with a developer saying she was able to see what a ruler should be like by going to the past, but until a see an official source I'm going to hope that's not true

3. Her relationship with Link

"Link is still entrusted with the role of protecting Princess Zelda." - Hidemaro Fujibayashi https://www.npr.org/2023/09/13/1199307678/zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-dlc-video-game. Maybe I'll write a post about Link sometime, but I'm focusing on just him and Zelda.

Whether you ship the two or not, the pair would obviously have a unique bond from both fighting the Calamity and losing the Champions/everyone. So, how did the pair cope with the destruction of everything the love? How did Zelda come to terms with the ruins of Castle Town, the harsh reality of all those who were dead? Zelda doesn't have Link's amnesia to temporarily soften the inital blow.

TotK explores none of this.

Similarly, there is a level of formality on how Zelda speaks of Link. When she tells Rauru of Link she starts, "He is a royal knight. He had been originally appointed for my protection, but later he became a hero by saving both me and Hyrule from a great evil". Not "he and I became close" or even "he became my friend". Zelda is talking to the two people closest to her right now,

All their interactions are the bare minimum.

Link has ALWAYS been a self insert for the player, but he's still a character, and more recently Nintendo has been acting like having emotions means a player can't project onto them. Zelda is Link's closest person, and when she returns he is piece of cardboard, at least help her up!

4. Her relationship with the player

First, as everyone who played BotW will know, many things were removed or changed in TotK to allow it to be standalone for new players. Sheikah tech was removed, important characters forgot Link, the majority of the last game was rarely if ever mentioned. Kass

However TotK does not properly establish Link and Zelda for new fans AND doesnt not elaborate for old fans. They interact twice until the end - the intro and memory 1. All of her characterisation is in that little history moment, the rest of it is 50% sacred power lore and 50% time power lore. Additionlly, anyone who is new to the game has no context for her light powers.

Actually, TotK literally retcons her light magic to be from Rauru and not Hylia. Which was the WHOLE POINT of BotW so great sequelling there guys.

TLDR: The Conclusion

Wow, you made it this far. Or you skipped to end, I would too. My main gripes with Zelda:

> She doesn't interact with Zonai Tech.

> Her arc is about learning time power to go home, only for her to not use said magic and instead use the light magic from the last game to fix the sword and be a light dragon.

> Having her worries about Ganondorf shot down by the King and not holding her ground/ insisting (did you learn nothing from Rhoam??)

> never interacting with Ganondorf him being in Hyrule as a diplomat

> nintendos approach to her and link, they dont once touch while both conscious. Not even a handshake or pat on the shoulder. See images above with prev. Zelda and Link.

Literally the only normal one here and won’t be stubborn or obnoxious, he’ll just sleep the sickness off

He does want a lot of hot soups and teas, which isn’t a problem for you because he’s so sweet you want to take care of him

He doesn’t like to bother you so when he needs something he’s VERY hesitant

Just drug this man, seriously. Give him some sedatives cause he REFUSES to be sick, you have to constantly yell at him to rest

Like he could be dying and still outside training his ass off and he’s extra pissy since he’s sick so he just screams at everybody until he loses his voice and you have to drag him back to bed

He’s especially angry that he can’t taste anything, like it just irritates him to no end. He groans a whole bunch about how he can’t breathe out of his nose, all his muscles ache, he’s still cold, just EVERYTHING

Also doesn’t get sick often at all, he’ll try to push through it when he does get sick but he knows his limit and when it’s time to relax and get better so he can get back to fighting

He’s kind of mad he can’t do anything himself and you have to make him his food and bring him everything cause he can’t get out of bed

But he won’t take it out on you, sure he might complain a bit but he won’t be super pissed or anything

Really likes cuddles when he’s sick, one of the only times he’ll let you be the big spoon cause he’s too tired to argue and honestly it feels kinda nice for a change

SWEETEST PATIENT

Definitely cries cause he feels like absolute shit, and it makes you feel even worse about him getting sick so you wait on him hand and foot, but then he feels bad you’re running around doing everything for him-

First of all, he is SO UPSET HE CANT TASTE FOOD. Like he’ll be eating the ramen you made him and just let out a sad “Tasty…”

For once he’s not overly energetic, like his eyes are a bit duller and he can’t keep up his permanent smile cause dude is exhausted and doesn’t feel good

He still sticks to a schedule despite needing more rest, like he’ll still wake up at the crack of dawn and go downstairs and drink his morning tea outside on the porch and you have to drag him back to bed because he needs to SLEEP

Mitsuri Kanroji

Cries when she’s sick, %100

Like she just feels miserable and just wants hugs and kisses to make her feel better. Maybe not on the mouth cause she doesn’t want to get you sick but she really wants some forehead kisses

Will want to have her head in your lap at all times, and she groans and cries when you have to get up

But like, give her some food and she’ll feel a lot better and isn’t so miserable. Food cures everything-

-he is much to his dismay like his mom

-He's like a constant nurse, even when you promise your fine! Hitting your knee on a rock hurt for sure, but its not like your going to die..well hopefully not, maybe he's right? thoughts like those will become common as he worms his worries into your mind

-He's willing to share, but only with the club, he continues to promise that its what's best for you when he gives you a prescription of Cyclobenzaprine, just enough to not give you too much serotonin syndrome, but a little extra joy is normal! Not being able to get up just means he needs to get you another prescription or eight! You trust him, dont you?

-Eventually when you try to distance yourself, all the drugs hes been giving you, all the prescriptions you now dont take will come crashing down on you. Hes not going to necessarily mock you when the kidnapping happens and you go through extreme stress and withdrawl...but this wouldn't have happened if you!-

-He gets along best with stan and mike, since all three want what's best for you

-He has his problems with, surprisingly, bev. She got you hurt once and he still hasn't completely forgiven her though he will back her up when you try and vent to him about her manipulating you

-Your overreacting! hes hurt you think she would ever spread rumors about you when she was bullied herself. shame, shame, shame on you

-Manipulation to the max, she will make you want to spend time with her. There is no other option

-She's one of the more patient of the group though, when you finally start to distance yourself she will calmly help create a plan to help bring you home. You will inevitably be back after all whether its due to drug dependency or the loser club knocking you out on your way back from a party, is up to the universe

-She wouldnt hurt you to a certain point, if she believes its for the greater good then your tough out of luck. But she prefers to just make you feel guilty and dependent

Exhaustion was weighting onto you like nothing else. Your eyes were hurting at this point from having to look at the same screen for weeks now, only taking breaks to go to the toilet or either drown yourself in energy drink or coffee.

Here's another giant ask because I've been thinking about this for a while and I needed to share it with somebody.

The scavenger chieftain is really merciful towards Arti, given the circumstances. When I first reached that part, I was expecting to be sniped by a spear from across the map. But he doesn't attack you, despite having every reason to. Like, the Metropolis scavengers most likely have literally nothing to do with the scavengers that killed Arti's kids, and it's not like they understand why Arti is doing what she's doing. The scav king knows Arti has killed countless members of his group, probably people he knew personally and cared about. Maybe even his family.

But he doesn't attack you. You have to start the fight. He just points to the exit. He wants you to back away, to stop before you take this final step and seal your fate. He should have all the reasons in the world to want you dead by now, but he gives you a final chance to walk away.

It's what made me interested in the scav king as a character. For some reason, he doesn't want to fight you. One idea I had is that he's well aware of Arti being trapped in a cycle of violence, either due to having experienced something similar or his understanding of karma. (He has the mark of communication and I'm willing to bet he's met the Metropolis echo, who was also trapped in a cycle of violence. He's probably heard an explanation of the cycles and karma from Five Pebbles as well.) So, he knows very well what Arti is getting herself into and hopes that maybe she can still see reason before it's too late.

Another idea I had, and this is totally fanon and not supported by anything in-game but I thought it sounded fun- what if they knew each other before? Like, what if they were friends all the way back when Arti lived in the Garbage Wastes and wasn't hostile to scavengers, and the scav king was just a normal dude. Just a regular John J. Scavenger. Eventually, he finds the citizen ID drone and brings a bunch of his friends to the Metropolis, gets the mark of communication from Five Pebbles (who, I imagine at this point, doesn't really care that much if the scavengers live in his city and only gets mad at them once they start ripping out bits of his can). Flash forward years later and this normal scav is now a chieftain with a prosperous tribe, and he's wondering what happened to that weird red slugcat he met all those years ago when they re-appear out of nowhere and begin violently murdering his tribe members. That would be A Little Awkward Huh.

That's just my silly little headcanon, I'd love to hear your thoughts though. How do you interpret the scav king's actions here?

the scav king is the ONE person who refuses to treat arti like a monster, even when she's so far gone that she even disgusts and horrifies herself. he's the one person who will not feed into her spiral of self-loathing, no matter how hard she tries to earn his hatred. he refuses to strike first no matter how many times she tries to kill him. he always tries to reason with her. he always fights one-on-one, even though he has an entire kill squad ready to back him up.

but he doesnt let her victimize him, either. he gives her a choice, and he respects the choice she makes even when it's the wrong one. he kills her without hesitation when she forces his hand, but then he's always ready to offer mercy again, always ready to give her another chance.

and i just feel like that's exactly what arti needs. someone who is both compassionate enough and resilient enough to weather the storm of her rage until it burns itself out, and still be willing to offer mercy when she's finally ready to accept it.

RIGHT, ok. so. motivation. lets do this.

first of all I love the idea that they knew each other in the past. it would make a lot of sense, and it'd fit perfectly with my headcanon that arti used to be friends with the garbage wastes scavs before everything went to hell. and I love the drama that would come from two old friends having to fight each other to the death.

it's not the case in my personal headcanon though, just because I already have a backstory fleshed out for the scav king that would make it pretty much impossible for them to have met before.

however, i DO think that he sympathizes with arti because he's been though something similar. I think he lost someone very important to him when he was young, and just like arti, he also threw himself into a futile quest for revenge because he didnt know how else to cope. but instead of going on solo rampage, he raised a whole ass army and started a war.

he got to where he is through sheer spite and thirst for vengeance. he never really wanted to be a leader; he just wanted manpower to throw at his enemy. but after seeing his people get killed in service to him, he realized he is responsible for them now, and he needs to put their safety and wellbeing before his vendetta. so, while he is still angry and he does still carry his old grudge, it no longer consumes his life. he's learned that there are more important things to live for.

so, yeah, he definitely understands arti's rage. and he sympathizes with her, because he has his own people's blood on his hands, too. but he's learning, and he's trying to be better, and he believes that arti can be better too if someone gives her a reason to try.

...also, his default personality has 0.00 aggression and 0.99 sympathy stats, so he is arguably just wired to be Like That, lol

(i say 'default' because technically his stats are randomized each time you fight him, but he always uses the same sprite, which is scav king ID 8875. so to me that ID's stats are the canon ones, lol )

i want to say ive never written a fanfic or anything of the sort so im not experienced in that field of writing but i do like do do character analasys and like headcanoning things so feel free to share any opposing views!!

first and foremost i feel like they have a common character flaw that they expect nothing less of an extravagant lifestyle even though both of them attempt to uphold and fulfil this different ways i feel like they would find great company in like luxurious or over the top things and they could perhaps be one of the only people that dont harbor distaste or skeptical feelings towards each other upon learning of the others hobbies. they also have certain tastes and are both picky eaters in their own ways so i imagine a lot of discussions would be had about what characteristics make someone more tasty. that being said i think shuu would continuingly tell rize that shes way too messy and she should invest in self control or at least be more private about her eating habits lolol.

i also feel like they would find solace in each others company talking about like art and philosophy although i imagine shuu already had more than enough people to rant to i think that rize would definitely genuinely listen and engage. if they fought or had a disagreement i imagine one of them being stuck head first in a concrete wall and then shuu would refuse to to her for like a day and call her a barbaric hoodlum behind her back but no real feelings or resentment would comply. i feel like a normal person having a conversation with any of the two would somehow contain an interference of something along the lines of 'woah woah woah you cant say that man thats too far' because they both make pretty morbid jokes but if it were just the two i feel like they would feel as though they could freely speak their mind without anyone wondering how they were raised or what set of events led to such absurd jokes being recited in such grim circumstances.

i feel like shuu would feel sort of be offended meeting rize upon hearing that her insides were used to turn kaneki half ghoul as even when kaneki loses all sanity his and rize's personalities are not compatible in the slightest, and so before learning to get over it he would feel kind of awkward around her because he wants to be mad at her but he knows it wasnt her fault at the same time so hes trying to be civil about it. meanwhile she would think of him as an antisocial snob and try to brag to him about how she made something of herself without being spoon-fed and is able to manage her giant appetite while on the run from the ccg and ghouls alike.

when shuu is like in his terminally ill granny state i feel like she would stay by his side but also be discouraging saying stuff like 'men should suffer in silence' and 'a public execution would be more appealing'. i feel like when they go out together shuu would try really hard to convince her to clean up so they can look fresh as hell and go fancy places but rize always ends up consuming some random homeless guy on the street. rize gives off 'i want to be with the bourgeoiseses' vibes but when they come around she just doesnt want to put in the effort. 'just kick reason to the curb and come with me!' (can you tell i do lyric analasys).

i feel like rize would like use shuu's rich people resources to make stuff like lets pose a hypothetical that ghouls could eat cookies. rize would use shuu's kitchen and ingredients to make the most foul tasting cookies and then put a sticky note on them telling shuu not to touch. then he flips out. rize is also very not used to not having to do dishes or anything in his household so she feels weird about being emptyhanded while others make the food. she'll be trying to hide her pleasure with being treated with such luxury but you can definitely see her grinning at the dinner table. we know she has table etiquette from her and kaneki's date but whats to stop her from completely disregarding all manners when shes in the presence of ghouls? i feel like she'd be kinda gross the first few times over cuz men aint shit but she kind of grows into being at least presentable at dinner.

when they r in the car shuu wants to be passanger princess but he doesnt trust rize behind the wheel. hes not the hero we deserve, but hes all we have right now. irrelevant but if rize was driving she'd like crash on the highway for fun or something. she has a fake license that says something like risse kaminishi from district 12

my exams end on 19th and I have to get rid of some books and buy some books which are quite pricy online so I had planned on going to college street on 20th and selling my books and buying the new ones at a cheap price and i was frankly really excited about it because all I get is a one day break to relax bcz i have to start studying for entrances from 21st so all I have is 20th and i wanted to spend it at college street and then get some food and basically have like a solo date kind of thing.

and i was so so excited about it i told my boyfriend about it like 500 times bcz i kept forgetting i've already mentioned it and it was literally on my mind a lott so i kept bringing it up and ik it seems like not a big deal cz i can just sit at home and chill too but i literally do not get to go outside my house. like- the last time i went out was new years eve and after that the only time i've gone out is to school or to give my boards that is it. my mother has some weird like problem wiht me going out like even if i tell her that i just want to go to our terrace for 5 minutes just to get some fresh air she won't even allow that she'll be all suspicious and like sTaNd In ThE bAlCOnY aNd TaKe FrEsH aIr like she herself doesnt leave the house (and blames it on me and my brother ???? when have we ever stopped you bro, she said I HaVe To Be HeRe To KeEp An EyE like im 18 i dont need to be watched 24/7 stop blaming me for choices you put upon yourself) and i just feel so suffocated ALL THE TIME i feel so overstimulated and im so sick of rotting on my bed and i dont want to wait for some birthday party or friends meet up to be able to leave my goddamn house i just wanted to go and have a fun day and get me some books thats it.

so obv i was super annoyed and i went on a whole ass rant about how i literally struggle to even cross roads bcz i dont know shit about basic travelling bcz all my life ive been in a car and its a running joke with all my guy friends that i 'cannot navigate' and 'dont know any places' and obv??? if im never allowed to go anywhere then how tf will i know the places- the only places i know is bcz recently i've been paying a lot of attention and asking my dad stuff about what roads to take to reach certain places and when i go out with my friends i kind of try and learn a bit but thats it i've only ever gone alone completely alone to two places which is my beauty parlour thats 5 minutes away from my house and one bazaar one time that was 2 bus stops away, thats it. thats my extent of public travelling alone. and now im supposed to go to a whole new STATE for college and i cant even call myself an auto without struggling. and like- is this not a basic life skill??? like ok yeah its not rocket science and i will probably figure it out even if i start later in life but why not now? most of my guy friends literally go everywhere alone, why not me? and my dad agreed with all of this but my mom was just like "you'll be in the hostel only, no need to go out of the campus" like ARE YOU FOR REAL????????? and she's like "if u want to learn skills learn how to cook" like ok yes i will also learn how to cook for sure but i wont have a fucking kitchen in the hostel but somehow cooking is an urgent skill i should learn but going places by myself is unimportant bcz i should just never? leave? the? hostel?

Please Lil girl Maxy with Susie and Toto 🥺. Like okay hear me out, baby Maxy was abandoned by Jos because of course no women can be good at motorsports 🙄, so he drops the Lil kid in a shelter, turns out baby Maxy was having none of it and she tries to come back home by herself. She then get caught by someone and she is so afraid she starts fighting.

Toto was just walking back home when he see the little girl being held down by an adult. So he jump in and get Max out of danger. He tries to talk with her, to bring her back to her family but Max is so afraid she just cries and clutch into Toto.

So Toto is like, okay I'll bring you home for now before we'll see what to do. Once Susie see little Maxy she goes full protective mode and she won't let Max be alone again. Sheltering the baby girl and just being so sweet with her.

Max is amazed by Susie especially when she sees Susie' racing helmet and she ask if she can go kart.

Years later and Max makes her debut in F1 with Torro Rosso. She hides the fact that she is a Verstappen, and calls herself just Max for now. She didn't want to get Toto's surname just to avoid all the talk about her having it easy. And she did consider taking Susie's name before going against it. She wants to be seen for who she is and not for her name.

So she does amazing and soon enough she's getting promoted to Red bull, before Jos hears of it and tries to come back into her life. Max is conflicted about it, and Susie and Christian are having none of it. Christian because Max is incredibly talented and he will do anything to protect her well being for only the sake of her being good on track and for the team. Susie because Maxy is her little girl now and she won't let anyone hurt her. Thus why Toto and Christian will do anything to block Jos from approaching Max.

When Max wins her first championship thought, Jos persuade her to let him come back to her life. And even if she is still conflicted about it she just wants to have her father's love and pride. So she did give in. Toto isn't in a right place to prevent it, Susie tries to talk with Max, but Max feels like she should forgive her father. Christian is busy battling with Toto over the championship.

The only person that understand Max, is surprisingly Lewis. Like maybe his relationship with his father is better now, but Anthony wasn't that different from Jos, when Lewis was younger. So he did hear about the whole situation and talk it out with Max. She is so grateful for him to just listen. Lewis do not try to change her decision, but just listen to her and share his own experience.

When 2022 comes and they see each other again Toto finally takes the time to listen to Max and try to understand her. In the end if he doesn't agree with having Jos around, he still says he is here for Max and that won't change.

pllsss little 6 year old Maxy just being desserted by Jos and she is confused and doesnt like the home and tries to run away, tries to find her family back! But someone tries to hurt her and she is so scared, but Toto sees what happens and saves her. He tries to figure out where she is from or where her parents are, but the little one is just clinging onto him with all her might and sobbing her little heart out and Toto decides to bring her home with him for now before figuring out what to do.

Susie is a little confused when Toto comes home with a little blonde girl padding over him and holding his hand, but ofc she is instantly in love with Maxy and makes her a snack and something to drink while Toto calls the police.

They get custody over her cos Max simply refuses to go anywhere and clings onto Susie when the police officers come to talk to her. I think she would be close to Toto but she is a momma's girl lol! Susie and her just understand each other so well and love each other, and ofc Maxy loves her dad too but they clash a little more often, especially when she becomes a teenager and she is racing more.

Max making it to F1 and simply going by Max, no surname or a fake one and she hides her birthname and who took her in, until she feels like she proved herself, than she will happily let people know Susie and Toto raised her! But then Jos suddenly wants to be back in her life and Max is so torn. Toto is very against it, Jos doesnt deserve to be in Max's life after deserting her but Max is hopeful that Jos changed and maybe he can be in her life again. Susie talks to her about it and Max isnt ready then to have Jos back in her life, but then she wins her first championship and he asks to meet, to celebrate with her and she agrees, just wants to feel loved!

Things are a bit tense with Toto then, the tension of being in different teams and both being hotheads means they had quite a few arguments and Toto is teriffied when Max tells them she is meeting up with Jos because he feels like he is losing his little girl. And Max is more inclined to meet up with Jos because her and Toto are struggling a bit to figure out how to balance it all?

Max quickly realising Jos isnt there to apologise or love her, he doesnt care for anything but for his name to be attached to her succes and Max is very upset. Maxy ofc goes to Susie and Toto, crying and confused and hugging Susie who tries to soothe her. Toto being unsure if Max wants his comfort because he is frankly just overthinking it all, but then his sweet, brave lion girl launches herself at him and apologises for all the nasty words they exchanged over time, that he is her dad and she doesnt want to lose him ever! And pls Toto apologises too ofc and holds her close, whispering he is so proud of her and he would never let her down again!

Max posting photos to thank everyone, her team, her friends, Susie, who she was always more openly affectionate with (oh the rumours about Toto being a bad father bc Max mostly would be seen with Susie in the paddock, although that was simply because Max and Toto try to keep work and life seperate), and then finally she posts a photos of her fast asleep, sprawled over Toto's chest with her arms around her, one of when she was little and one of her now, with the description 'Thank you for everything dad, love you always even if we argue<3'

All that really changes is that he has fangs, and he has to drink blood now

He ignores the fact that his heart stopped beating cause he's dead, and how anxious he gets whenever he has to go out at night to check on his mom, especially near dark alleyways cause what if someone attacks him again

He keeps the neck wound hidden. It's ugly and bruised cause he was struggling and trying to escape-

He ends up drinking blood from blood banks, which he knows is pretty shitty but it's more accessible and he doesnt want to make people go what he went through

He only drinks a little at a time, and eats human food to make him slightly less hungry (very slightly)

He also learns he can hear other people's heartbeats from far away, which is very cool and useful for his job, but also very bad cause he's hungry and he can't just go and feed on the patients

ada eventually notices that ian's being more withdrawn than usual so she goes down to the basement to check on him

ian was planning to isolate himself from people by working so ada going down to the basement was Not good.

Ada asks if he's okay. He can't answer cause he can hear her heart, beating loud and clear

Ada tries touching his shoulder, but he flinches and moves away from her.

she's really concerned at this point, and ian is...so, so, tired. he can't really keep this secret anymore, and he needs help

he tells her that something happened to him, but refuses to elaborate. he says that he'll explain later, when the hospital isnt so busy.

Ian brings her to the blood bank, and drinks nearly an entire bag in front of her

So ian confesses that he somehow turned into a vampire a few months ago. He's been trying to feed himself without hurting anyone, but it's getting really hard to do so.

Ada stands there for a moment and goes 'okay i can give you some of my blood then'

Ian is shocked at how easily she believes him, and is torn between admiring and being concerned at how easily she offers to do this

(Ian: you believe me? Just like that???

Ada: you drank blood in front of me ian. Humans don't do that. With everything that goes around the hospital i stopped being surprised)

After a talk, ian agrees. But only if ada takes care of herself afterwards. He feels very guilty of making ada give up a literal part of herseld when she does so much for the hospital

(They use needles to do this because ian is not sure if biting her neck would turn her into a vampire or not. Also it feels Wildly uncomfortable)

Ian becomes....a bit overprotective over ada's health after that. He insists on buying food for her ("I don't need to eat human food anymore. Besides, you're giving me something to eat, let me return the favor), making sure that she gets a nap every once in a while ("I don't need sleep, and clearly you do"), and making sure she is as fine as she could be while they're short staffed

Ada tries taking care of herself more, but because she needs to be healthy to work and to be able to give ian blood. Ian doesnt like that she refuses to care for herself For herself but. Baby steps

Ian wants to cover her shift sometimes, but ada refuses. Ian isn't really good with the patients, and ada's scared that if edega sees her work less in the hospital he'll fire her. Ian doesn't like it, but agrees to her reasoning

dude, i fucking miss the liquid calories! in past restriction phases i refused to count liquid cals, and i definitely still lost weight, but not as fast as i would have liked. ive started counting them and ughhhhh.

ive had lengths of time where ive been pescetarian (vegetarian + fish), it never helped me lose weight.

never officially diagnosed but i dont think most people here are. yes, anorexia nervosa.

73lbs at 12, my height didnt change since then lmao. i experienced some trauma right after getting to that weight, which led to me binging myself back up to 90lbs.

i think it was more personal experiences rather than the media, however the media likely did contribute once i had already established my disordered eating.

i didnt mean for this to turn into an essay (sorry in advance <3) but i have some.... very detailed thoughts based on a daydream scenario i have pretty often.

after the events of 9x24 (lets pretend it was reader trying to save him after being shot, not alex blake), reader starts having nightmares.

during spencers recovery, its easy to hide. if he wakes up in the middle of the night (which seldom happens, because yk, those meds have him conked tf out) she can just play it off as she was going to get a drink of water or something small so he doesnt worry.

but once he gets the okay from his doctor to return to work, she makes him take an extra couple of weeks off, just to be safe.

one night he wakes up in the middle of the night and reaches over for her but she isnt there. and he waits, and waits, and waits for her to come back to bed, but she doesnt.

so he gets up to look for her and finds her in the kitchen, only the light above the sink or a living room lamp on, sitting pretty much in the dark, drinking a cup of tea to calm herself down after another nightmare, seeing him be shot again but this time he doesnt make it.

and obviously he can tell something is wrong, this is his wife (girlfriend maybe but come on yk theyre married by this point). and she just refuses to tell him.

so he just sits with her and eventually she's calmed down enough to talk, and it all comes spilling out.

that shes haunted by what she saw, by having to save him, by the blood that was on her and the moments where she thought she'd lost him.

that shes been able to handle the risks that come with their job before but now she's just so terrified of it happening again, of her not being there to stop it, or of him not making it out the next time.

that she knows he loves their job, that she loves it too, but she doesnt know if she can handle the stress and despair anymore. that she didnt want to say anything because she doesnt want him to worry, but she just couldnt keep it in any longer. and she just sits there and cries.

how do you think he'd react? would he step down from the bau, or would be stay? would he be the one to offer, or would she have to ask?

aw this is so sad, he'd be heartbroken that he caused her that type of pain

he'd just hold her there while she cries, making sure she knows she's not alone and that he's there for her

about his job, he knows he's helping people and he loves that but he can't keep working at the BAU knowing he's destroying the person he loves more than anything else. i think he'd ask her if he should leave, but only in a "we're partners so can i quit my job" way, not "do you think i should stop doing the work i love because of you" and then she'd quit too. I think teaching and training other profilers would be more than enough for him to feel like he's helping rid the world of criminals
