Am I the only one who's not big on the new character sprites?
They're pretty, but glitchy. Some of the faces also look... off

"persona 2 remakes would be pretty cool you know i love persona 2 personally but theyre not very accessible both from an accessibility for disabled people pov and from the pov of someone who doesnt want to emulate, not to mention the gameplay has aged immensely and some elements are really questionable a-" [remembering the presence of both queerness & a fat character and the very distinct absence of (& bigotry towards) these groups in persona 5] "you know what nevermind."
#i do mean remake more along the lines of ff7 remake#if they just overhaul the combat & graphics id be fine#but there is a degree of concern???? that they might???? incorporate????? the stuff in p5 that makes me as a queer fat person??? uncomfy??#p2(is) wasnt perfect but most of its fatphobia is framed as a bad thing instead of just a haha boys being boys moment#(aka why does ryuji keep telling ann to stop eating or shell get fat shut the fuck up i am so tired)#and i know its just me being paranoid & very hesitant about change but hehrjtmhhrm#i dont expect them to remake p1 & p2 mind you. i just think if they did they would fuck it up#at best wed get a shitty port a la p3p & smt3 that make you wonder why ur not just emulating the original#(because it sounds better)#(what the fuck is that audio quality p3p remaster im genuinely asking)#for a minute i also thought about being concerned about eikichi's gnc vibe but then i remembered what the smtv protagonist looks like#could you imagine them adding like. a beach sequence to p1 & p2. could you imagine#p2is as a game could never exist in a post-p5 world not just because of. um. the out of pocket bullshit#but also because of all the smaller stuff. the smaller stuff atlus fails at to make the friend group seem more. friend groupy#because fatshaming ur friend is totally a fun and nice thing to do!!#i do like p5 dont get me wrong im having a blast and the mechanics are fantastic but the uh. sometimes i almost like the friend dynamic#& then ryuji says some out of pocket bullshit about ann and im reminded that this game was not made with me in mind#granted i havent finished p2is so maybe it just goes completely off the rails at some point past where im at but so far?#the lack of continuous fat jokes being played off for laughs is refreshing

In that halfway space between waking and sleep it was hard to discern what was real and what wasn’t. Your bed felt warm, sheets still tangled around your arms and legs. The weight of your blanket on your chest could easily be confused with another’s body, and so you felt yourself smile. Warm, happy, safe-
Abby was behind you, her limbs expertly twisted around yours like she’d done it a thousand times before. . . and she had.
Slowly you opened your eyes, staring blankly ahead of you into your pitch black bathroom. You recognized the fresh scent of your shampoo, and felt the way your hair still clung to your hot cheeks- wet from your shower the night before. It was like you were suspended in a memory, everything all soft and fuzzy around you. The dots weren’t perfectly connecting, and still you were happy. For a second you just laid there, unable to look down at the hand you could feel so vividly at your waist. Would you see Abby’s knuckles when you looked down? Would you see the rubber promise ring she had insisted on wearing? Everything always had to be even and fair with her.
This morning felt familiar. Like you’d lived it before. Your breath left you in a rush when the bed creaked behind you.
“Abby,” God, she was back. She was back and she was right behind you. “Baby?”
There was a soft groan and then the arm tightened, bringing you into a warm chest. Her bicep squeezed your arm tightly against her shoulder, and all at once you were tucked in so tight. Confusion tugged at your features, and you mulled over exactly why you were clinging to her arm so tightly.
“What’s wrong?” She whispered against your hair, her voice still thick with sleep. Still, her fingers stroked at your bare stomach.
“I had a nightmare,” You mumbled, trying to recall exactly what had plagued you just seconds ago. You can’t remember now that you’re safe here. . . safe with Abby again. “You were gone and I was all alone.”
Those moments came back to you in flashes. The ache, the constant pain of losing her, the “learning to live without her” that crushed you entirely. You turned around in her grasp, nuzzling your nose into the crook of her neck. You took deep inhales, trying to still your rising panic. You could feel the steady beating of her heart against your cheek, the warmth of her bare breasts against your collar bones.
“I was gone?” She raised a hand, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, a few golden strands falling onto her forehead as she moved her head against the pillow beneath her. “You can tell me about it if you want.” She offered supportively, petting your back in slow circles.
You don’t know why. . .  but you missed those circles. It felt like you’d been without them for weeks. Months.
“I-I got a phone call. . . and they told me that you’d died,” Your bottom lip quivered, your eyes filling with tears. You couldn’t help but laugh pathetically at your unnecessary hysterics. Abby was right here. Everything was okay. “It felt like the longest nightmare I’ve ever had. It was horrible.”
“You did so good though.” She whispered, her hands still stroking.
Your muscles tensed, and slowly you moved your hand up her side, fingers brushing against her skin. You pressed a soft kiss against the underside of her breast, a tear breaking free past your lower lashes. This moment suddenly felt fleeting.
“I did?” You questioned, pulling away to look at her.
She was so beautiful. Like an angel had fallen from heaven and landed right in your bed. The sun was just beginning to rise, setting the line of trees just outside of your window ablaze. She was diaphanous and golden laying there beneath you. You were so lucky. You could barely breathe when she looked up at you like that, her eyes so thick with pride and love.
“You did, baby girl. You stayed so strong.” She cracked a small smile, but it looked pained. Like she was also realizing that the two of you couldn’t exist here forever. “I need you to keep it up though, alright?” You couldn’t feel her hand on your back anymore, nor the softness of the sheets.
“Please,” You sobbed out, reaching out to cup her cheek. She didn’t feel like anything. Like your hand was molded around a pocket of open space. Nothingness. She was about the size of the palm of your hand now, her urn sitting on the mantle in your living room. “Please don’t leave me again.”
Her blue eyes stared up at you, proud and unwavering in their convictions, as they always were. . . always had been. “I’m never far. Pinky.” Promise.
And then you were in your bed again, the alarm on your phone blaring.
“Abby?” You mumbled, and you didn’t have to turn over to realize you were alone.
Ellie was good at putting pressure on herself. It had always been a form of motivation, as cruel as it seemed. She couldn’t let today be awful. No episodes or meltdowns and no long bouts of silence. You were pretty and it really seemed like you could use a friend.
Ellie could use a friend too.
She couldn’t remember the last time she’d shown interest in a girl. She’d always been career driven with a one track mind. She was good at overworking herself and running herself dry. She hoped that you’d be able to use that to your benefit today. Ellie wanted to lose herself in something. . . in someone. She wanted to be useful for the first time in what felt like a long, long while.
So she woke up at the butt crack of dawn and took a shower. She kept her eyes shut tight as she washed herself and didn’t even bother to towel dry her hair before she was pulling on an outfit. Thick droplets of water stained the shoulders of her jean button up as she tied up the laces on her boots. She focused on one shoe at a time, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of you. Every once and a while her brain would wander, hellbent on self destruction, but with a small groan she’d remember the sadness in your eyes.
She’d remember who she was before the accident.
She moved down the stairs as quietly as she could, praying that Joel’s dog wouldn’t start barking once he realized that his new best friend was leaving the house. The keys to her old car were on the rack beside the front door, right next to Joel’s flashy new pair. He’d told Ellie over dinner that he’d been maintaining the beat up old Jeep the best that he could, meaning she at least had a little bit of freedom while she was back home.
She locked the door behind her, the cool morning breeze stinging against her wet ears as she gracelessly stumbled down the stairs, juggling the bulky set of keys in her hand. A huge metal spaceship that Joel had stuffed into her Christmas stocking senior year, a neon green carabiner she’d bought at one of the gas stations closest to her school, and a few other childish charms that she couldn’t place any meaning behind swung from the nearly ancient keychain. Her sense of self expression and style back in those days was tacky to say the least, but she appreciated child-Ellie nonetheless.
“You poor child.” She teased under her breath, climbing into the driver's seat and shoving the key into the ignition. She sucked in a breath and held it before cranking it up.
To her surprise, the clunker started right up, though the engine shook the steering wheel a little when she put the thing in reverse down the driveway. She hadn’t driven a car since that night at the gas station. It felt a little weird to be behind the wheel, but even stranger to be back here. Jackson was a beautiful place. . . but it didn’t feel the same way that it had before. She wasn’t sure if it was because of her age or the changes that were happening inside of her. The streets still looked the same, aside from some very minor changes to neighbor's houses. She barely paid any attention to her surroundings when Joel had driven her through town yesterday, and she was a bit scared to see the differences. She didn’t want to dwell on those thoughts or do any soul searching, so she reached out for the radio, pressing play on whatever CD had been shoved into it last.
Depeche mode began to blast over the speakers, and she let out a small sigh of relief. At least her music taste wasn’t horrible in high school.
But it was no wonder she didn’t have a girlfriend. Ellie wouldn’t have dated little Ellie either, that was for sure.
She felt a bit crazy to be driving in the opposite direction of town. Back when she lived here, town was the only place she was headed when she was allowed out of the house. It was no wonder why the two of you had never really crossed paths. She used to complain about how far off in the “middle of nowhere” Joel lived, but your farm had his ranch beat by fifteen minutes. The houses got fewer and farther in between, and despite how much Ellie truly did enjoy the city, she couldn’t deny how beautiful the countryside was. The sprawling fields, grazing animals, and splattering of wild flowers had her rolling down the windows of her car, ignoring the chill so that she could get a better look of her surroundings.
Even the air quality was better in Jackson.
She’d been down this road a few times in her life, having been in the backseat of Joel’s car every single time. She recognized your home from her memories, but your last name didn’t mean much to her back then. She slowed her car down to a crawl, staring at the large sign that sported your family name proudly.
Ellie would be proud of the farm too if it were hers. She bumped down the drive five minutes earlier than you had told her to show up, staring with wide eyes at your house. It was two stories with a balcony- white with green shutters. The wrap around porch was screened in, protecting you and any guests you might have over from bugs that thrive in the summertime heat.
Your stretch of land belonged on a painting, and for a second she worried if maybe she wasn’t the right friend for you. This house was too nice and Ellie. . . Ellie wasn’t very nice at all. She'd only talked to you for five minutes yesterday, but she got the feeling that you were a "good girl". You were wholesome, which wasn't how anyone in Ellie's life would choose to describe her. She slowly made her way up your front steps, and for a second she wondered if she should leave. It would probably be better if she did. Ellie could always just lie and tell Joel that she couldn’t find your house. . . he’d probably drop it after insulting her about her bad sense of direction.
Ellie couldn’t afford to get a crush on anyone right now either. It was horrible timing, and what would be worse is if you actually ever returned those feelings. How was she supposed to explain to you that she wouldn’t ever make a good partner? She couldn’t protect you from anything, not when any loud sounds or bright lights had her falling to her knees. She was careerless, depressed to the point where she had completely lost who she was, had a drinking problem, and was quite certain that she’d combust the second you’d touch her. She was touch and attention starved, but hadn’t remembered that she was even able to desire someone until she’d seen you yesterday-
You’d be dodging a bullet if she hightailed it right off of your property. So she turned on her heel and stared at her boots as she began walking back down your stairs. Her feet kicked up dirt as she made her way back to her jeep, hand already reaching into her pocket for her keys-
“Did I not hear you knocking on the door?” A feminine voice called out to her.
She sucked in a breath so hard that she let out a loud cough, eyes widening as she turned around to face the porch. You were wearing a pair of dirt stained jeans today, though your hair was fastened back with a white bow. Ellie, despite her previous need to protect you from herself, couldn’t fight off the urge to get closer. There was something different about you today. You were a bit manic, your hands already busying themselves with straightening out a few of the potted plants on your porch. You seemed a bit anxious, but you didn’t comment on it so neither did Ellie. Any boundaries you had yesterday with her were gone. You flashed her a wide smile, sauntering up the drive so that you could wrap her up in a tight hug.
Your arms were shaking as they weaved around her neck, pulling her in close. She froze, limbs locking up in surprise as she tried to fully grasp what was going on. You were treating her like an old friend, someone you were excited to see. Ellie didn’t know why you’d be so happy to see her. . . but then again, she was happy to see you. She remembered what Joel had said last night.
Maybe you were sick and tired of being alone.
Your bare arms were cold too- freezing as her fingers accidentally brushed the backs of them. Ellie realized that she had gotten here just in time. If anything, she cursed herself for not showing up twenty minutes earlier, if only to save you from whatever had you this shaken up.
“I probably knocked too quietly. Should have knocked louder, huh?” She mumbled, biting the inside of her cheek as she gave you a gentle squeeze.
She wasn’t used to holding someone like this that wasn’t Dina or Jesse. You felt nice in her arms. Your muscles weren’t hard or rigid like hers, you were all soft and rounded edges. Gentle curves and arms ready and willing to embrace her. Flushed cheeks and silk bows. You smelled wonderful too- sweet and floral, like Jasmine mixed with honey. She didn’t want to let you go, and you didn’t seem ready to end the hug either.
You were still quivering.
“Yeah, you should have.” You agreed, giving Ellie one last squeeze before taking a few unsteady steps back.
You hadn’t been completely sure whether or not she would show up today. Waking up this early was a lot to ask of anyone, let alone someone you had just met yesterday. Still, a part of you had hoped that she would be here. On days that were this bad you found it impossible to work, no matter how busy it kept you. You often spent “mental health days”  laid out by Abby’s grave or buried six feet under pillows and blankets in what used to be your shared bed.
Ellie’s presence changed things.
So you squared off your shoulders and cracked her a wide smile, praying that it looked genuine and not forced.
“Let’s hop in my truck and I’ll take you on a little tour of the property before we get started.” You tucked your bottom lip between your teeth as you watched the woman take a few steps closer to you.
Ellie looked like she wanted to say something but was holding herself back. You weren’t sure whether or not you would be able to handle her prying or the pity that would follow.
Your fingers twitched at your sides, wishing so deeply that you hadn’t woken up at all this morning. Ellie was beautiful- gorgeous even. You would have been head over heels if you had met her years ago, before. . . well, before Abby happened. Still, her beauty wasn't enough to completely distract you from your grief. A part of you felt guilty for even finding her attractive as you slid into the front seat of the truck.
Maybe that was why you’d had such a strange dream last night. Or maybe. . . maybe it wasn’t a dream at all. Maybe it really was Abby trying to tell you that it was okay to move on. That was confusing to even think about, and it made you count the months since her death on both of your hands, trying to gauge if enough time really had passed. You didn’t want to be alone anymore, but the thought of being in love with anyone seemed like an impossibility. Everything was broken. How could you ever love anyone the same way that you loved Abby? You’d just be doing that other person a disservice.
That’s right, you were cursed.
You could feel Ellie’s gaze on the side of your face as you made your way down the dirt road, up towards the hen houses. You blinked a few times, the apples of your cheeks heating up in embarrassment. Slowly you met her gaze, lips twitching up in a small smile as she quickly looked away from you, nervous over having been caught.
“My dad built ten large coops, so this whole fenced-in area right here is where the chickens graze.” You stopped the car and put it in park, keeping the old thing running like you usually did during your quick morning chores. Sometimes the poor truck had a hard time starting back up, and you’d probably burst into tears if your newfound friend had to walk a half mile back to the house with you.
“Do you guys have any problems with foxes?” She asked, keeping up with your fast pace as you unlatched the front of the fence for the both of you.
Your nose wrinkled in disgust, and you were quick to throw your arms up exasperatedly.
“Oh god, do we! I had to get someone out here to change out the fence just six months ago because one of those little fuckers had somehow managed to dig it’s way into their area. Killed seven of my poor girls.” You remembered how angry you were when you’d pulled up to the coops that morning. Burying seven dead hens wasn’t a pleasant experience for you, but it wasn’t something that was new. Still, you hated knowing that they’d suffered in their final moments.
“Jesus, I’m sorry.” Ellie looked around the area, finding it impossible not to notice how well kept everything was. The coops were freshly painted, the grass was gorgeous and plush- bright green under her feet. Truly, your farm was an oasis. She’d never seen anything quite like it before, and you'd barely even started the tour.
“Can I hold one?” She asked meekly, smiling up at you shyly as you turned to look at her. You didn’t exactly take her as the type of girl that would want to hold a chicken, but you were happy to oblige her.
“One of my mamas just hatched a few chicks. Would you want to hold-”
“Yes.” She quickly added, jogging off in the direction that you were pointing, eager to hold anything tiny and fluffy that you had to offer.
You were shocked at the laugh that bubbled its way out of your chest. A genuine, good natured laugh that you found hard to contain as she began impatiently tapping her foot as she waited for you to catch up.
“Didn’t take you for a chicken lover, city girl.” You teased, unlatching the door for her so that she could make her way inside.
The hens squawked excitedly at your appearance, realizing they’d be able to eat their fill of grass, bugs, and dried corn. A few ran over, crowding at your ankles. Rows and rows of nests were lined up along the walls. In the back of the coop were a few small rectangular doors that you could open, which was what you used to harvest eggs. Your dad’s old coops didn’t have anything fancy like that, so you grew up having your hands pecked at. You used to run back home to your mother with blood bruises and angry, raised skin.
“I love chicks.” Ellie said simply and the double meaning wasn’t lost on you.
As if on cue one of the chickens began pecking at the woman’s ankles, earning a small hiss of surprise from her. You snorted, biting your lip so that you wouldn’t laugh at her expense. “I can’t say the feeling is mutual, apparently.” You added playfully, looking around for the yellow poof balls.
“Old news.” She was smiling at you, and something in your chest began doing awful, uncomfortable flips. For a second you even felt a bit nauseous.
Ellie wasn’t Abby, but there was something similar about the two of them. The short haired girl seemed capable and strong. There was a physical sort of confidence in the way that she walked that told you that she knew how to handle herself. You watched as she shoved her hands in her pockets, shoulders squared off, feet shoulder length apart- and it had your lips parting.
Still, you remembered Joel talking about his daughter. . . saying that she was military. You couldn’t remember which branch she belonged to, but you could tell that she was well trained. You tried to imagine what Ellie would look like if she was put in a situation where she needed to protect herself, and you found a shiver running up your spine.
There was a coldness that had been in her eyes when the two of you had first met that had chilled you to the bone. You saw none of it when you looked into her eyes now, but. . . still. . . the thought terrified you. Had those capable hands ever killed anyone before?
You felt horrible even thinking that, even going as far as to give your thigh a small slap in punishment as you bent down, knees digging into the wood shavings and hay. The chicks didn’t seem off put by your small scowl. They saw you and instantly thought “food”, which had them clumsily running in your direction. You hadn’t heard her walk up beside you, only felt the sleeve of her long sleeve shirt brush against your arm as she sat back on her haunches beside you.
“It won’t scare them if I pick them up, will it?” She asked gently, slowly reaching a hand out so that she could brush it against their plush down feathers. They chirped contentedly, unaware of what “danger” even meant yet. You were guilty of babying your chickens, meaning none of them were scared of humans. They pecked at you when they were annoyed, but were never violent per say.
“Not at all. They might seem a bit unhappy, but it’s only because they’re hungry.”
You pressed your hand to your cheek as you watched the woman pick one of the chicks up, holding the tiny thing tightly against her chest so as to not drop it. There was something almost comical about seeing the woman look this gentle, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration as she tried not to hurt the tiny thing. It was adorable. Which was terrifying for you.
You were once again reminded of your dream. . . and you didn’t think you were ready to let Abby go. Not even when Ellie looked up at you excitedly, using her free hand to gesture towards the small creature in disbelief. Almost like she was scared that even talking would frighten it.
“So what do we do now?” Ellie asked, putting the chick down so that she could stand back up. You followed her lead, making your way back over towards the door.
“We open up all the doors and let them walk around for the day. I usually come back and get them back in their coops by sundown.” You let her know, leaving the door wide open as you moved coop to coop.
Ellie helped you, cutting down the time in half. The two of you were back in the truck in record time. You showed her the fields where you planted corn in the late summer to get ready for early fall. You pointed out the small flower garden you had taken upon yourself to cultivate, and then you pulled up to the green houses. Her jaw went slack as she took in all of the buildings.
“You do all of this yourself?” She needed to make sure she wasn’t imagining things. Sure, she was no farmer, but even someone like her knew just how much work this must be for you.
She couldn’t imagine you doing this all day, every day all by yourself. It kinda made her chest ache a bit for you. So when you nodded she took it upon herself to climb out of the truck, eager to do something to lighten the burden for you.
As the two of you approached what appeared to be the oldest of the greenhouses, she couldn’t help but realize that she’d been with you for about an hour. . . and she felt great. Better than great, she felt normal. She had been sent out here so that she could recover, and while she didn’t quite understand what that really and truly meant, being here with you felt right. Being around the animals felt therapeutic, and while Joel might have told you a little bit about her in passing, you didn’t know enough about Ellie to pass any sort of judgment or feel any sort of pity.
Even so, Ellie wasn’t sure she’d be against telling you about what happened. Something told her that you would be understanding. You knew what it felt like to lose people, and she was sure that you had regrets somewhere along the line. Everyone does when it comes to losing loved ones.
She hated that you had suffered enough to understand where she was coming from, but loved that she wasn’t alone for once.
The two of you walked in silence, and there was a heaviness in your eyes that let her know that you were thinking about something serious and sad. Ellie wondered whether your father was on your mind this morning. . . or perhaps your girlfriend. It wasn’t her place to ask, but that didn’t mean she didn’t want to.
“Want to help me water them?” You finally asked, motioning towards the tables of plants.
She nodded, but quickly turned to face you. She couldn’t count how many green houses you had on top of this one.
“Do we water all of those plants too?” She felt stupid the second that she asked the question, but even more so when you began to giggle.
Sounding stupid was worth it to hear the sound, so she sucked it up.
“Those green houses are newer and have a built in sprinkler system. We just have to worry about this one, thankfully. We’d be here all afternoon if not.” You began to head in the direction of the hose so that you could turn it on, your stomach tightening with hunger.
You knew the second you got back to the house and made breakfast that you’d be nauseous though. Bad days like this were always the same. You were hungry but you couldn’t eat. You wanted to distract yourself but nothing would work. You wanted to talk to someone but didn’t have any friends that you trusted enough to actually. . . onload on, and you were sick of your mom crying on your behalf.
“So you’re staying with Joel now? For how long?” You decided to make small talk as you handed her the hose, walking along with her as she painstakingly paid attention to every sprout.
She licked her lips before answering you, eyes flickering in a way that made you think that she might feel a bit nervous.
“I was. . . sent here. It’s not like I don’t love being home, because I kinda do. It’s just not something that I exactly chose for myself.” That didn’t feel like the whole truth, but you supposed that she would tell you whenever she was ready.
You played with the raw hem of your old t-shirt, suddenly anxious that you might have put her in a bad spot. Still, you found yourself wanting to know more about her.
“Do you have an addiction problem?” You realized how inappropriate it was to be so blunt. Your mouth went bone dry with panic, and you were quick to grab her hand, shaking your head. “A-All I’m trying to say is that my uncle had a really bad drug problem for years. He’s been clean and sober since last Christmas and is doing great. I don’t judge, that’s all. I’m proud of you, if anything.”
She gulped, looking down at your hand and noticing how close your body was to hers now. She fumbled to turn the hose off with one hand, trying to get her breathing under control. It was twice now that you were touching her like this, and she hated herself for wanting to wrap you back up in a hug so bad. She was also trying not to notice how plush and kissable your lips were.
You smelled great too, which made it hard for Ellie to think.
“Yeah, I guess I have a bit of an addiction problem,” She mumbled, but shrugged her shoulders soon after, contradicting herself. “But that’s not really why I’m here.”
Ellie would have to tell you eventually, she supposed. If the two of you were going to be as good of friends as Joel wanted, then she’d have to fess up eventually. It was better to get it out and in the open now rather than later. Plus. . . if she had some sort of a breakdown then maybe you’d be more understanding if you knew why it was happening.
“My therapist tells me that I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I was in the Marines and I had a really bad accident. So. . . it was hard for me to live alone.” Ellie stared down at a long-dead leaf on the ground and bent down to pick it up, gently playing with it’s crinkled edges.
“Did you have panic attacks? I have those sometimes too.” You wanted her to know that she wasn’t alone, as stupid as it might sound.
You wanted to relate to her without telling her that your girlfriend had also been a Marine. She was being vulnerable with you, and the last thing you wanted to do was make this moment about you by bringing up your deceased girlfriend.
“Yeah. . . Yeah, I have those a lot. Sometimes I lose track of time- disassociate. It’s scary for others to deal with, so my friends thought that it would be best if I were with Joel. There’s less triggers here than back in Chicago.” You could tell that she was still uncomfortable with the subject matter, but she was powering through.
Ellie appreciated that there wasn’t a hint of judgment in your tone. You genuinely seemed curious. . . and talking about herself like this felt good. Validating, even.
“What triggers you? I just want to make sure that I don’t overstep or accidentally do anything wrong-”
“No, no. You’re fine. It’s more so loud noises and bright lights.”
“So no gunshots?”
“Guns aren’t too bad. . . it’s more so car crashes. Explosions, you know?”
Your mouth went dry. You did know. It’s how Abby died, afterall. You hated that Ellie had gone through something similar. Your heart ached for her.
“Is that how you got this. . . ?” You began to brush your fingers against the scar over her eye. You froze as she flinched, guilt bottoming out your stomach as you quickly yanked your hand away.
She reached out to take your elbow into her calloused hand before you could drop your palm back down at your side, and pressed your fingers against the skin herself. Her skin was still soft, but raised and jagged. You’d never felt a scar this deep before. Still, it was warm under your touch. Alive.
The moment felt oddly intimate, and you kept your fingers there for a few seconds too long before dropping your hand back at your side. Ellie felt like she was going to explode. No one had ever wanted to touch her scar, let alone been allowed to.
“Yeah, It is.” She cleared her throat, grabbing one of her arms in her hands nervously. She was starting to realize that she didn’t mind being seen by you. “I’m legally blind in the eye now, which has been pretty hard to get used to.”
“So you can’t see at all out of it?” You questioned, beginning to walk back over towards the repotting station. You’d noticed a few sprouts that were getting a little too big for their pots, and the last thing you wanted was crowded roots.
She followed after you like a lost puppy, hot on your trail. “I can see shapes and colors. Movement, and everything. But if you held up your hand and asked me “how many fingers am I holding up”, I wouldn’t be able to tell you.” She’d practically had to relearn how to do everything again, as dramatic as that sounded. Losing the vision of one eye affected a lot more than one might think.
“Oh, shit.” You remarked, nose wrinkling up in sympathy. You couldn’t imagine how hard that must have been on top of dealing with the mental anguish of the accident.
“ ‘Oh, shit’ is right.” She agreed with a small smile, leaning her hip against the table as you began laying out the necessary supplies. She watched your hands as they moved expertly around the table, eyes locked on your fingers. “I used to be beautiful.” She joked absentmindedly, alluding to the scar that now marred her features.
“You’re still beautiful.” You said, fully concentrated on the task at hand.
You didn’t realize the weight that your words carried, nor Ellie’s reaction to them. She felt like a giddy teenager. She couldn’t stop herself from fidgeting with the buttons on her shirt. She was smitten.
You were the first person to treat her like an actual human being since the incident. This was the most alive she’d felt in almost a year. . . and she was talking about things. Not like she might talk to her therapist, it was different than that. She was talking to someone that wanted to get to know her, not just to diagnose her, but to understand her. It felt good. Really good. Sickeningly good.
And you thought she was beautiful.
“Do you want to help me repot these little guys?” You asked, motioning towards the tiny pots.
She was scared of killing your seedlings but nodded anyway, desperate for your approval. Ellie watched as you demonstrated the entire thing for her, praying to god she wouldn’t forget a step.
The two of you stood shoulder to shoulder, shaking out roots and gently tucking the plants into their new homes. It was calming- melodic, almost. The constant motion, the gentle noises of the wilderness all around you. Ellie could even feel herself getting good at it. Not as good as you, of course. . . but she wasn’t as bad as she thought she would be.
You watched as she rolled her sleeves up and over her forearms, taking a second to appreciate her hands. Once again, you felt guilty for being so attracted to her. Strands of auburn hair had fallen out from behind her ear and hung in her pale face as she focused on her task. Her strong hands worked methodically. Her veins, her knuckles, her forearms and biceps- Ellie wasn’t just beautiful but gorgeous.
‘Give me a sign, Abby. If I’m not reading too far into last night's dream. . . then just give me some sort of a sign.’ You thought to yourself, eyebrows furrowing as you packed more dirt around the seedling in your hand. You felt like you were being horrifically dramatic, but what else could you do?
You felt idiotic. Delusional, even.
Beside you Ellie continued to work, completely unaware of your building turmoil. Pot after pot, she was really getting the hang of it. Pack down a layer of dirt, shake out roots, pack dirt on top- repeat.
She  reached out for another one of the black plastic pots, sliding it over in front of her. She was so lost in her own thoughts that she almost didn’t hear the rattling. She’d been so close to covering up whatever was at the bottom with dirt, but the sunlight caught whatever it was just right.
It sparkled.
Ellie pinched the object between two dirt coated fingers, her eyebrows practically raising up to her hairline as she realized that it was a ring. A valuable looking one, at that.
“Uh. . . is this yours?” Ellie asked, showing it to you.
You blinked a few times at the ring, scared for a moment that you were hallucinating, because things like this only happened in movies. People asking for signs from the other side only for a ghostly apparition to pop up on screen.
Still, that was your promise ring in Ellie’s hand.
Your bottom lip quivered, eyes filling up with tears before you could even stop them. You reached out with gentle fingers, taking it into your hand graciously.
“Thank you.”
And you weren’t sure if you were talking to Ellie. . . or Abby.

Vox x F!Reader NSFW drabbles/headcanons/fic
Tumblr media
~~~♡♡♡~~~
I woke up at 5:30 AM this morning and this popped into my head. I had to write it down and post it. It's 7 am now. With that, I'm going back to sleep. Pink text is you, blue text is Vox. Enjoy!
Taglist: @omniuravity @fatgumsurpremacy-remastered @neonvehk and anyone who loves Vox and/or Hazbin Hotel!
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Imagine you're in a poly-friends-with-benefits thing with Vox and Val.
You guys fuck on the regular and you all have a great time.
But deep down, afterwards, you don't feel that satisfied.
Your body was satisfied, but not your heart.
You cared about both of them dearly, hell, even loved them.
But you knew that they would never feel the same.
Of course they wouldn't.
One night, after sex, you guys lay there in bed.
You laid between the two men, Val has his back to you on one side, and Vox was laying on his back on the other.
You just lay there, thinking.
Val broke your heart just a few moments ago and it hurt you more than you thought.
It wasn't an out of the blue thing, it wouldn't even bat an eyelash if every party felt it was nothing but sexual.
But it still hurt.
Once you all finished, there was a moment where you and Val looked into each others eyes.
You were hoping that he'd feel some sort of connection between you two, that there was something more than sex there.
But that wasn't the case. He just turned his back to you, not even saying a word other than 'night'.
You didn't expect it to hit you that hard, but as you laid there, your eyes held heartbreak and loneliness, like you would do anything for someone to hold you and love you.
You feel tears in your empty eyes and struggle not to cry.
"Hey.."
You hear Vox, breaking your train of thought. You turn to him and a tear drips down your cheek.
This causes his expression to change, turning towards you with a slightly worried gaze.
"Hey, what's wrong? You alright?"
You immediately wipe your tears away and laugh.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Guess the sex was that good, eh?"
Vox wasn't buying it.
He got on top of you and pinned you to the bed, his expression a stern one.
"Don't give me that bullshit. You're not okay. What's going on? Tell me."
There was no sweeping this under the rug. No forgetting it. He needed to know.
You can start feeling tears building up again and you say, "you promise not to laugh?"
"I won't laugh. Just tell me."
As you talked, tears started to well up and drip down your face as you spoke normally.
"Well, we fuck all the time, and it's great. But I always wanted something...more..you know? But you guys are so big and important, I don't even feel like I deserve to be here right now. I know it's stupid to expect anything like that from you guys. I mean, besides, who in their right mind would ever care about me, or even love me, right?"
You fake laughed as you said that last sentence, but he felt that pain like a plate of glass shattering in his heart and soul.
Oh, that hit home.
He knew exactly how you felt.
He may have been an overlord, but even he felt impostor's syndrome over it.
He'd never show it, but deep down, he felt like he didn't deserve to be as powerful as he was, to have everything he has.
That's why he made an agreement with Velvette and Valentino and formed the Vees, so he could feel important, like he was a part of something.
Everything seemed fine, but he felt so scared..
He felt it was just a matter of time until everything fell apart.
He knew neither of them would be there for him when things went bad. They wouldn't care about him, not one bit.
There was even one small, tiny shimmer of hope that he and Val could be something more, that there would be at least one person who genuinely cared, but he knew it'd never happen.
So hearing you say the words he was thinking and seeing the same look in your eyes was like looking into a mirror.
He gently cupped your cheeks and looked at you softly and only said two words.
"I would."
Before you could properly register what he just said, he leaned in and kissed you on the lips.
You were confused, but then you notice how he was kissing you.
This wasn't a lust-filled, makeout session to get you guys aroused and ready to go.
This was soft, tender, comforting. Like a warm blanket wrapped around you on a cold winter's night.
Then you realized what he said.
He would care for you and love you, not just that...he did.
You feel a few tears drip down your cheek as you closed your eyes and kissed him back.
You wrap your arms around Vox as the kiss continued. Your heart swelled and you could feel your body heat up once more.
Same went with Vox. As he shifted the kiss down to your neck and collarbone, he could feel himself getting hard again.
Everything felt so good, but this was much deeper, much more intense.
It wasn't too long until Vox slid himself inside you and started to thrust.
You moan as he lovingly thrust deep into you.
This wasn't him being quick just to get off; this was slow, no rush whatsoever.
It was like time had stopped just for you two to savor this moment.
The sound of Vox's soft groans and moans in your ear as he thrusted into you made your body heat up even more.
If you guys were louder, you probably would've woken Val up, but he was deep asleep, not hearing a thing.
Hell, he wouldnt care anyway, just thinking you two couldn't wait for him and decided to go together. No big deal.
Vox made sure to hit that deep spot in you, not chasing his own desires and instead trying to get you to cum as many times possible before he did.
But after a few hours (it felt like a few minutes with you two), you both could feel your climaxes building up, ready to explode.
Soon, Vox's thrusts became faster and slower, wanting to cum so badly but wanted you to cum first.
Luckily, he didn't have to wait long.
Through the moans and the pants, it wasn't long until he hit that spot one final time and made you see stars.
As you came, Vox did something that you never expected.
He came inside you.
As you both came, he kept himself inside and let his cum fill you up.
Him and Val never did that before. They'd always pull out and let their cum land on your body and face while you came on nothing.
But this? This was a clear message to you, a declaration of love, he was wordlessly saying 'this is how much you mean to me. This is for you and only you. This is how much I love you.'
A tear escaped your eye at that realization.
Soon, you both lost your highs and collapsed on each other, Vox sliding to lay on his side, facing you.
He pulled you close and held you, like if he let go, you'd disappear and this moment wouldn't have ever happened.
You held him, your arms wrapping around him and your head resting on his chest.
You could hear his circuits buzzing, his heart beating. That was all for you.
The joy you felt was indescribable.
"I love you." You let those words fall out of your mouth without any hesitation.
You started to drift off, but you kept yourself awake to hear his response.
He gently rubbed your back and said softly, "I love you too.."
With that, you could finally doze off, knowing someone genuinely loved you as much as you loved them.
Vox fell asleep knowing that no matter what happened, even if he lost everything, he'd still have you, and he'd be okay.

The Hare - Remastered
One of my most popular captions, featuring the amazing AnabelleLeakyGirl, who is sadly no longer on Tumblr. Please go support her!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“So, why do you think you’re ready to be a big girl again?” I asked.
Most of the program’s subjects blushed at that question, and paused for some time before trying to muster up a response. But Bunnie? She didn’t hesitate for a second, turning and lifting her skirt before I had even finished talking.
“See this?” she began to ramble, “This is my paw patrol pull ups! I got ‘em ‘cause Nanny said I was ready to start using the potty, even though all the other girls are still in diapies. She said she was super duper proud of me, ‘cause I only got degressed a month ago and I’m already in training pants!
“See, they’re super cute and have puppies and they’re pink and pink is my favorite color, and- and they’re called training pants ‘cause they’re basically like big girl panties ‘cept they can keep me dry even if I have a accident but I almost never have accidents ‘cause I’m really really good at knowing when I hafta go potty. Like, you know how many accidents I had today?”
I would have guessed, but she was back at it before I could get a word in.
“One!” she boasted, proudly holding up a finger, “and that time I woulda made it if I’d just told Nanny sooner but she wasn’t around so I had to hold it but that’s like really hard so I couldn’t make it. But, like, only one accident the whole day!
“And, like, Della, who’s been here as long as me, she prolly had like-” Bunnie struggled for a moment to count to herself, though she abandoned the exercise quickly, “a gajillion accidents today. I even had to tell Nanny on her ‘cause her diapie was messy and she couldn’t even tell ‘cause she’s such a dumb little diaper baby!” she grinned, ignoring an audible “Hey!” from the other room.
“I know Nanny says I’m not ‘sposed to brag, but I’m pretty sure I’m like a super genius, and I’m prolly gonna be going to school and learning to read and stuff while all the other girls here are still dumb drooly diaper babies, so I’m definitely ready to be a big girl again ‘cause I’m basically a big girl already!”
With that, Bunnie let down her skirt, placed her hands on her hips, and gave a self-satisfied “Hmph!” as she turned up her nose.
Tumblr media
It’s such a shame, really. The way she worked through the regression did indeed show a rare talent. Sadly, Nanny Jan and I both agreed that her manners and emotional maturity simply weren’t acceptable, and that, not only would it be wrong for us to let her graduate from the program, but it would be best for her to start all over once again.
Since then, all the other girls in her class completed their course at the nursery, graduating back to being fully functioning, improved adults, even if they do still have a few lingering accidents from time to time. It was quite remarkable to see them work together to get back through their potty training, supporting and encouraging each other the way their old classmate had failed to.
And Bunnie? Well, she’s been progressing much slower this time around. She’s struggling to walk upright, yet to properly utter a word, and unable to tell when she needs her diaper changed. It’s a tad disappointing, but you know what they say - slow and steady wins the race.

silver springs - carmy berzatto x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: this is a part 2 for casual (read before continuing this for context). the live performance of this song changed my life tbh. as a little gift, a third and final part is in the works so stay tuneddd 👀
warnings: angst, slow burn, cameos from syd and richie (we love them in this household), mentions of claire (again, my apologies, ms. girl)
summary: after you found out that carmy had a girlfriend, claire. tension between you two grew intense as you rarely talked to him unless it involved work while he tried everything possible in order to talk you about what happened. it wasn’t until a former classmate of yours came in and asked you out while working, making him come to a sudden realization.
disclaimer: i do not own characters mentioned in this story. this is for fictional purposes only. do not copy or claim my work as your own. comments, reblogs and constructive feedback are appreciated!!

you’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loved you
ever since you found out that carmy was dating claire, the past three months felt as if it had been a year. the tension in the restaurant was so thick that you can slice through it with a knife. while carmy was trying everything to get you to speak to him, you did your best to avoid him except if it involved work. as much as you thought about putting in your two weeks, you simply couldn’t afford to.
you look into the mirror in your locker as you inspect your hair, being pinned back by a red claw clip. the hair accessory coordinated with the outfit you decided to wear today, which consists of a cropped red cardigan, black dress and doc martens. you reach for the makeup bag you keep so you can freshen up before your shift, unzipping it and pulling out a tube of clear mascara.
you twist the wand out of the tube and apply a layer of mascara on your upper eyelashes when syd walks in the locker room, just arriving for her shift. you both smiled at each other as you thanked god that it wasn’t carmy who walked through the door. she walked up to her locker next to yours, “hey, how did your night go?”
you shrugged as you applied a layer to your lower lashes, “not too bad, just watched a couple of episodes of sex and the city, took an edible then went to bed.” she laughed, “you seriously like that show?” she set her belongings in the locker as she left out her apron and head scarf, placing them both on the bench next to where you both stood.
you joked, “whenever anything goes wrong in my life, i do ask myself about what would carrie bradshaw do?” she rolled her eyes playfully as she laughed. she styled her hair with the scarf as you moved to putting on a soft pink lip liner over the outline of your lips. as syd put on her apron, she asked, “hey, can you tie the back for me?”
you nodded, setting your lip liner down and helping her tie the back strings of the apron in a comfortable, secure knot. as soon as you finished, carmy walked into the room, him and syd greeted each other while you and him made awkward eye contact but not saying anything to each other. syd sensed the unease in the room, deciding to go in the kitchen and see what they needed help with preparing for the day ahead.
this left you and carmy alone for the first time in a while. you felt his eyes on you as you continued putting on a light pink lipstick. he took off his jacket and placed in his locker as he finally decided to make another attempt at breaking the ice. “i think we need to talk.” you avoided him as if he was a ghost trying to make contact with a human.
he let out a sigh, growing more frustrated at the silent treatment you were giving him. he thought things between you both was supposed to be casual, no strings attached. while he understood why you were hurt, he also felt that he didn’t do anything wrong by not telling you about claire. he asked, “are you seriously going to ignore me?”
you pushed your bag back into the locker, slamming the door. the impact of the metal door made carmy startled, not being used to seeing you this angry. you snapped, “there is absolutely nothing we need to discuss.” as you try to walk out of the room, he gently grabs your wrist, turning you around to face him. “please, just talk to me.”
you groaned, “i don’t want to fucking talk to you, carm. just leave me alone.” you pulled out of his grasp and walked out of the room as he watched you leave. he felt this physical pain in his chest, sitting down on the bench as he ran his hand through his hair. he couldn’t help but wonder what went wrong and how could he make things right with you.
a couple of hours into your shift, the lunch rush was starting up as the restaurant was filled with people and you were on your feet, doing your best to keep with your section. you bring a drink to one of your tables, being one man who looked like they were in their early twenties. you placed his drink on the table and asked, “is there anything else you need?”
he shook his head and spoke, “no, i’m good. do you mind if i ask you a question though?” you politely nodded, “yeah, sure!” he continued, “this may sound a little weird but weren’t you in ms. klein’s homeroom?” you then remembered your freshman year homeroom teacher who had a whole wardrobe consisting of cat sweaters.
you nod, a bit confused at specificity of the question, “yeah i did actually..” you internally cringed at the person you were back then, wearing band merch and constantly straightening your hair to the point it was fried. he then explained, “i don’t know if you remember me but i’m dominic. i used to sit behind you.”
you suddenly remembered him, realizing you had a short lived crush on him until he moved schools after the first semester. you gasped, “oh my god, i thought you looked familiar! how’ve you been?” he had gotten a lot better looking than the last time you saw him, looking more taller and lean. his blonde hair was styled in a slightly disheveled wavy mullet and wore a white long sleeved shirt with blue jeans.
he grinned at you, his arctic blue eyes looking into your honey brown ones. “i’ve been good. i’m in town for a couple of days so i decided to explore what’s new here. enough about me though, how are you?” you smiled, feeling heat flush against your cheeks. “i’m doing good, life hasn’t been too bad.”
as you caught up with dominic, you began to realize why you had a crush on him in the first place. he was charming, make you blush as if you were a fifteen year old girl again. he admitted, “to be honest, i did like you but i never got the chance to tell you before i moved.” you laughed in disbelief, thinking it was a lie.
you shook your head, “that’s bullshit.” he insisted, “oh, it’s not bullshit. i regret not asking you out a lot sooner.”
carmy was on his smoke break outside the restaurant, he kept his eye on how you and dominic were interacting with each other. he felt himself growing more irritated at the sight of him making you laugh and smile. he broke up with claire a few weeks ago while he was locked inside the walk-in. he had feelings for her when he was in high school so of course, he thought it was something he wanted still but whenever he was with her, visions of you would cloud his mind.
you shrugged, “i mean.. i think you still have a chance.” dominic smirked, “oh really?” you nodded, “i definitely think so.” he replied, “well, we can go grab drinks after you get off work.. if you’re down.” you blinked, not knowing what to say. he was the first guy who asked you out since your situationship with carmy.
you made your choice on a whim, smiling at him. “i’m down.” he smiled back at you, “cool, can i get your number so i can text you where to meet at?”
he never viewed himself valuable to be loved by anyone, not by claire and especially not by you. his stomach churned and nausea set in when he looked over again, seeing you texting something onto dominic’s phone. he couldn’t bare to see the sight anymore, flicking the remains of his cigarette onto the ground.
he decided to walk around and enter through back of the restaurant, not wanting to see you. as he walked up to the back entrance, he sees richie, taking his own smoking break. “how’s your day going, cousin?” he shrugged, “i don’t know.. kinda shitty.” richie looked at him with concern but knew him well enough to know why he was upset.
he asked knowingly, “you’re thinking about her, aren’t you?” he sighed, “i broke up with claire weeks ago, man.” richie scoffed then responded, “i’m not talking about her, dipshit.” he swallowed the lump in his throat as he knew his cousin was right. “some dude came in and he asked for her number..”
richie’s eyes widened slightly, “oh shit, did she give it to him?” he reluctantly nodded. richie winced, “damn, dude. what are you going to do about it?” he laughed sarcastically, “what do you want me to do? it’s not like she wants to talk to me.” richie sighed, “look, you really like her right?”
carmy nodded, “i think like is an understatement for how i feel about her.” his eyes widened as he never thought he would genuinely be in love with someone but was glad that the person he loves was you. he asked, “what if i’m too late to tell her? i don’t know what i’d do if i was..”
richie shook his head, “i don’t think you’re too late, cousin. if she was getting married or some shit, that’s different. you still have a chance… go make things right with her.” he questioned, “but what if she still doesn’t want to talk to me?” richie shrugged, “then at least you tried. that’s better than putting in no effort at all.”
carmy nodded, taking in everything that his cousin had said. he knew that he had to talk to you and attempt to make things right again. he took in a deep inhale then let the air exhale through his mouth. he looked over at his cousin and said, “thank you.” richie nodded, “no problem.. now, go get your girl back.”
as you got ready to go out with dominic, butterflies fluttered around in your stomach while you looked through your closet to find the perfect outfit. you threw your clothes around as you looked in the mirror, holding them in front of you seeing what looked good or not. you tossed them to the side as you didn’t like how you looked.
your hair was wrapped in a towel while you wore an oversized shirt with shorts underneath to lounge around in before actually getting dressed and ready for the night. you were interrupted when you heard an urgent knock on your front door. you checked your phone and see no texts from dominic that indicated that he was here when another knock on the door rang through the house.
you walked out of your room through the small living room area to the front door and reluctantly opened it. to your surprise, carmy was standing there. you rolled your eyes and sighed, “what do you want?” he looked and stared at you in awe, seeing you in the t-shirt he gave you.
he then blurted out, “i don’t want you to go with him.”

Everyone please go and watch this
Basically a former HER employee decided to react to the entire series of Everything Wrong With Nancy Drew videos and add her own perspective and some insider info
For example
Certain voice actors are not credited because they were random people connected with the company who didn't want their names used
Pretty much any time something interesting happens out of Nancy's view it really is "to save on animation"
A lot of completely irrelevant but humorous bits are left in the games specifically because they are humorous (such as the rehearsal recordings in LIE)
The reason we can open the Snack Shop at random ass times is because everyone complained so much about mandatory cooking hours in ICE
The reason Nancy can't just smash down doors is literally because of the ESRB (apparently having the player deliberately destroy an object breaks the terms of E for Everyone)
The ending to SCK remaster was affected by ESRB as well - the original game's ending had to be completely changed because E restrictions had tightened between 98 and 2010, and also this is why the culprit knocks Nancy out with the gun instead of the more logical option
A LOT of the common complaints are ones that she has as well and some of them and she even brought some of them up to the team before release
This certainly isn't everything so please go and check out the videos!

And He Was
Ghost!Steve Harrington x Witch!Reader
Series Masterlist
900 words
Tumblr media
“This is crazy!”
Steve barrels into the apartment after you.
You’d spent the rest of the train journey staring at each other as Steve held on tightly to the hand that stroked his arm. It wasn’t until a grumpy late-night commuter walked passed the both of you with a muttered get a room, that his attention was lost.
They could see him.
He tested out the waters of this new revelation with every person you passed on the way back to your apartment. Smiling and waving at the ticket attendant barely paying attention, leaning down to pat a dog belonging to a disgruntled runner that was forced to stop, opening the door for a woman who lived in your building and telling her to have a good night even through her suspicious look.
Steve Harrington could be seen again. He could greet people and help them through doors. He could touch things.
But he hadn’t bothered to touch you in the 23 minutes since he’d discovered this new development.
“Yeah it–“
“I mean what the hell?!” He paces franticly around your apartment. Smiling giddily at the feeling of your records under his fingertips, chuckling when he can pick up your teapot. “Want me to make you some tea?”
“Maybe later.”
His face falls at the lack of excitement on yours.
“What’s wrong?”
Why haven’t you jumped at the chance to touch me? You kept trying to when you couldn’t, doesn’t it matter anymore? Will you leave now that other people can give you attention?
“Nothing.” You shake your head, motioning to the teapot in his hand, “I’ll take care of that. Although I don’t think it’s gonna do you much good.” You walk towards him, “Whatever this is still doesn’t change the fact that you’re–“ He stops you from taking the pot with a hand on your arm, and you swear you still feel a zap even when there isn’t one.
Steve looks down at his hand and smiles softly when he feels the warmth of your skin under his moving thumb. He puts the pot down on your table, his now free hand moving to your waist. He leans in slowly and you can feel the inhale of his chest against your arm, that can’t be right, before his lips leave a soft peck on your cheek.
You're burning fiercer than you ever have under his gaze.
“Hi.”
You barely get the reply of a h out before he’s shifting you in front of him properly, one hand enveloping the side of your jaw while the other squeezes your waist as he presses his lips to yours.
There’s a shiver that runs through your whole body at the contact, like stepping into an ice bath, but then it’s all warmth. That familiar tingle spreads through you as his lips move against yours with a desperate pull. You flinch back before you’re lost in the feeling altogether, eyes shut and head shaking.
“I feel like this is crossing a line of delusion. I can’t be kissing a ghost! This is insan–“ Steve cuts you off with another deep kiss, hands confident in their attempt to ground you.
“You worry too much.” He mumbles into your mouth and you open your eyes, breaking your lips apart.
“Shouldn’t you be more worried? Steve, you're dead.”
He smirks, “Which means I have nothing left to worry about. Besides,” your lips click as he presses quick, sweet kisses to you between talking, “I don’t feel like I’m dead. ‘Cause I can feel again, you know?” He leans back, hazel eyes searching deep within your own, “I feel things when I’m with you.” His thumb strokes your cheek softly, “I can touch you for god’s sake.” He laughs in disbelief, “Babe, you’ve brought me back.”
You frown under his gaze of awe, “Steve that’s not possible.”
“Okay, maybe not back back, but you’ve done something.”
“I haven’t used any magic I swear.” You shake your head.
“No, not with magic. I think it’s just you.” He smiles, before licking his bottom lip, “I was content with my death when it happened you know. I got to say goodbye thanks to your friend, and I saved the people I loved with my sacrifice. Then I met you and I knew I couldn’t go. That it wasn’t really my time because I would miss out on a life with you.”
“Steve.” You whisper, eyes stinging.
“I’m serious. I don’t think it was an accident that led me to you. I think it was fate.”
“I don’t believe in fate.”
He frowns, “Isn’t that a witch thing though? You read tarot cards.”
“I use them more as guidelines on what to look out for. How to avoid bad things–”
“Whatever, I don’t care.” He shakes his head, before squeezing your hip again. “I know. You’ve done this to me.”
Tears are threatening to spill over your lash line now.
“I’m sorry.”
Steve smiles at the whisper that leaves you, “Don’t be. Best thing that’s ever happened to me. Gave me no choice but to find a way to be with you forever.”
You let him lean his body into you, giving up on fighting against your own when his lips find yours again, melting against him when he licks into your mouth. Steve Harrington was still dead, but his form appeared entirely real. How? At this moment you did not know, but you couldn’t find it in you to question it.
Because, well…you’d fallen in love with a ghost.

He struggles not to get mad at you
He struggles not to get frustrated at you
He struggles not to hate on you
What happened?
Did he have done something wrong?
Hell
Hell yes, he did something wrong with you
"I'm so fucking dumb" he mumbles to himself
"What did you say?" Jeff says as he flips the next page of his comic book
The voice of his friend made his snap out of his thoughts while he's looking at you at the other side of the cafeteria
"uh- nothing" he clears his throat, straightens himself up and he averts his eyes away from you
Jeff looks up to his friend with critical eyes as he observes him, slowly putting his comic book down on the table, he turns around and he founds you there
"Ah" he chuckles shaking his head, he finally understands the situation
Eddie catches this and he questions him "Excuse me?"
"Make it up to her, man" Gareth says as he takes a sip from his canned Coke
He swings his head over to his other friend, confusion expression sitting on his face clearly
"Woo her" Dustin added while he's writing on his science notebook
Eddie quickly shuts his eyes as he responds "Was I too obvious for thinking about her too much?"
"Stop moping around and talk to her!" Lucas leans in, his tone is serious making Eddie nodding taking his words carefully
"The more you don't try to fix, the more she'll gets angry at you, been there done that" Mike raising his hands up as he tries to forget the idiot things that he did to Jane
"What the hell- did you to her this time, Munson?"
All of them turn their heads at the other voice, it's standing right there next to Eddie looking at him down with a stern look on his face
The look is not threatening but Eddie can see it that he genuinely cares
Eddie just lifts his head up to see the man standing beside him and he can see the guilty and sadness on his eyes
He sighs "I don't know anymore, dude...." He trails off
"He probably done something asshole to her girl" Jeff fills him up
Eddie looks at him with wide eyes and then turns to a pointed look
"I-I'm sorry, man, it's the truth!" Jeff surrenders
He shook his head as he leans his back against his seat
Eddie's eyes always goes back at you for everytime he tries to rethink and remember those past few weeks before you chose to ignore him
It's been 3 weeks
It almost looks like he doesn't even exist to you
He should've known, a girl like you who got a heart of gold, nicest soul
Could turn into something else that he never expected to happen
You became mean, hateful, rude, impolite to him
The only time he sees you smiling and laughing so sweetly is when you're not close to him
But whenever your eyes falls to him, it changes into anger, it flashes to him so sharply that he can feel your gaze stabbing into him
He knows he deserves it for treating you this way
And my god, both of you have been bestfriends for years and he never thought this day would come
The day he will never ever forget is that you despise him, every bit of him irritates into your core
He can't blame you, you've been together since elementary, he knows how much you give your whole heart to someone you love
And then he just chose to fucking mess things up
"Answer me, Munson"
he puts his food tray on the table, it made Eddie flinch a little, he goes straight back into reality again
"What's going on between you and her?"
Eddie breathes from his nose deeply, he looks down shamefully
"You can still bring her back, you know, it's not too late"
"How can I ever talk to her if she doesn't give me a chance?!" Eddie finally speaks throwing his hands up while stealing a glance at you
You're staring at him coldly
Eddie can't even look at you like that for long giving him that icy glare
The man beside Eddie gave a gesture to Jeff and Gareth to scoot over on the side so he will have a seat next to Eddie
Eddie rubs his face, he's stressing out, his friend can see that
"It's not the right time to give me advices, Harrington"
"Look, dude, I just wanted to help you, if you lose her you're going to regret it, believe me"
Eddie stare at him for a second, he nods along for him to continue
"What did you do that might upset her?" Steve tries to look at his friends eyes
The whole crew looks at him directly, awaiting for his answer
Eddie swallows he knows he's gonna get scolded from his friends and if Wayne knew about this
He's a fucking dead man
"b-before the 3 weeks happened, we h-hang a lot like the usual a-and then I-I think she gives so many hints that s-she liked me and I thought she's j-just expressing her l-love to me as a f-friend and then few days later it feels like she's n-not the same anymore until s-she finally let it all out that she h-has feelings for me"
"and then what happened?" Mike asks
"She told me she w-was fine, she'll be in t-touch with me until I received a letter from her, I'm still confused and I don't know what she meant about it, I reread it like a million times and I think-"
"you think what?" Lucas cuts him off
"She d-doesn't want to be with me a-anymore" Eddie said the last line like he was holding his breath, he breathes out shakily
"Well, that sucked" Gareth saids while Jeff nudges him in the stomach as he gestures to be sympathetic for his friend for a moment
Steve facepalmed for a second as he tries to think of something
"What did you do after she..." Dustin glances at you before he continues "confessed to you?"
"Here's the thing, Henderson" your voice goes behind his back making Eddie tense up at the fury anger coming out from your voice
All of the boys stare at you like they've been caught
"He fucking acted like our friendship together didn't exist and let me guess he told you I was the one who got cold right?"
All of them nod and then they scrunch their faces up making it harder for Eddie
You laugh in disbelief "What y'all boys didn't know right after I confessed at him, he just acted like it was nothing, he just go on day by day like nothing happened, just like that" you shrugged
You lean down close to him, his breath hitches being you this close to him while you're in rage
"He expects me to be like?!? Do the same shit that he did?!? No fucking way" you whisper on his ear and he squeezes his eyes shut
All of the boys are intimidated seeing you like this
They're used to see you being so lovely and fun like Eddie
But now, they get it, why Eddie can't just talk you out of it
"That's why I wrote him a farewell letter to end my misery and his misery because I'm such a good person" you say the last word clutching to your heart sarcastically and smiling
Your forced smile drops, you say one more thing before you leave "Even though he doesn't deserve it" you scoffed at him while you look at him up and down
He pushed his seat back running after you
You ignore him calling out for you until he finally reaches your hand you turn around
You slapped him across his face making the other students gasped and you don't even care if the other students having prying eyes on you and him
"Oh shit!" Dustin exclaimed
The whole gang stand up from their seats, jaws are dropped and shocked as they watch the scene unfolds
There's a bit of regret of what you just did to him but you can't help it, you're just so mad at him for invalidating your feelings and you hate that you got rejected at your most beloved and important person in your whole life
You wished that you didn't confessed at him, if only you knew that this is going to happen
But it already did so.... you'll just hop in onto the fire and burn and live through the chaos of your emotions
"Don't you try to touch me again, we're through" your eyes became glossy but Eddie knew that's how you get angry
You rip his hands off from you as he watches you disappear in the cafeteria
Angry tears coming out from you eyes and he hates that he's the cause of it
He only sees that if you're having problems at your life and now he's the part of it
He hates himself for it, for letting this happen
If only he wasn't so dumb about it, this wouldn't happen
He is making this hard for you, he doesn't even know where to start
He's tearing up, half of his face burning up from the slap that you gave him, it turns to a bright red color from his cheek
All of his friends goes after him, giving him a pat behind his back
Jeff and Gareth both saying in unison "Are you okay?" he just nods weakly and he sniffles
"Now all of you believe me?" He told them referring to the question earlier "just talk to her"
"I believe you, man" Steve sighs and he gives a small smile to his friend
It's been a month ever since you slapped him
Eddie's eyes still longing on for you everytime you brush past by him
He's trying to look into your eyes and tell you that he's sorry
"I think you're too hard on him" Robin says as she offers you a cherry lollipop, you grab it and unwrapped it and you stick it out to your mouth
You watch Eddie with his friends cheering for another successful D&D meeting
Your heart aches at the sight of it, you should've been there if it wasn't for the unfortunate events that happened
Even his friends are in celebration, you can see his eyes and his smile not reaching to his ears, he is not happy because you're not there
"I think you might be right" you remove the lollipop from your mouth
Robin's voice is muffled from the lollipop as she darts her eyes to you and to him "What- wait- how's so?"
"He isn't like the kind of trying to get my attention, he stopped doing that"
Robin smirks "You miss him, don't you?"
You huffed and chuckled "There's no shame in that, and you know it, Robs, yeah I do miss him" you admit unashamedly as you popped the lollipop back in your mouth
She gives you a empathetic smile
"Why don't you try to talk to him? Maybe he is truly sorry for what he has done"
You stare at her, This is the only time you let your walls down, Robin can see that you're also longing for him
You're just wearing this facade of yours so don't that he can't see how you truly hurt
At least that's what you think
Eddie knows it and you know that he can see right through you
You gave your friend a warm smile "I'll think about it"
"I just wanted for the both of you to be happy, I don't want you guys end up giving each other's cold and hatred remarks when they can be together again" she says as she puts her hands on her pockets
You nod at her, you're now thinking deeply about it
Eddie decided to ignore you or maybe if possible, forget about you
He gets even more scared of the letter you gave him that haunts him til' his day
He'll have to learn to forgive and forget
Which is impossible
He goes out looking strong but whenever he saw you, all of his courage to not acknowledging your existence just quickly fades away
He can't sleep either, he just keeps rolling around his bed all night, he can't stop thinking about you, he doesn't even know how he can get rest enough for the next day
His body aches and he stopped trying to get talk to you, he doesn't want to argue with you anymore, he's exhausted, he knows how will end up
Another slap from his face
He groans and goes back to his previous bed position as he throws a pillow on top of his head
He knows what you need, you need space, but he's trying his best to stay away from you he can't remove himself out of you that easy
He got even more mad when he saw you talking to another guy at school
Eddie can't deny his looks, the guy is good looking, maybe he's one of the popular guys at school judging by the way he dresses
His eyes turn to jealousy, his jaw clenches when you giggled about the guy was saying to you
He furrow his brows, he's the only one who can make you laugh like that, his heart drops of what the future might be
He would rather die seeing you holding hands with another man when he must've been the one with you on his side
He'll eat his heart out on how much he loves you
Eddie walked inside of the men's restroom
"It's a good thing you let her go, man"
Eddie raises his head looking for the familiar voice in the room, he rolled his eyes when he finally see him
It's Jason fucking Carver
Until he freezes, he can't recognize him because of the dim lights but his posture and his mannerisms
It's him, he's the guy that he saw with you
He is now simmering with anger, he knows guys like Jason just get girls and leaving them after they got what they wanted like they're pieces of trash
"Just get the hell away from me, dude" he spits out
He laughs darkly "I'm giving you a piece of advice, freak"
He gives him a daggering stare at him, a warning
"Girls like her, are too much of a work, they think a lot, they're unstable and hell, too fucking sensitive"
He shakes his head at his words and scoffs, he goes by the sink and wash his hands
Jason follows suit and he leans his back as he continues to talk
"You should get yourself a girl who doesn't have anything like her, just by one look she knows what you needed"
The faucet keeps running, he pauses, he knows exactly what he mean by that and that alone just pisses him off
Jason flinches at Eddie's action by holding him up by his collar pining him behind the wall
"I don't want any girl, Jason, I only want her, I am not like you breaking every girl's heart in Hawkins High, you're full of shit!" He punches him causing him to open the men's door
Throwing Jason in the process on the floor, making every student halt their tracks as they watch the scene, Jason can't even give a fist to Eddie
Eddie grabbed Jason again by his collar as he give him 2 blowing hard punches on his face, making him bloody enough to not speak to him ever again
"Next time, Carver, I hope this will mark that you won't fucking talk to my girl that way" he pushes him down, Jason weakly nods and he grunts while he slowly crawls away from him
It's like the universe is helping you to get back together, he turned around to see you standing there
It's the only time he is seeing you not giving him any cold shoulder instead he sees shock, pity, and hopeful?
He blinks and stares at you for a bit, he turned his heels and walked away
You tried to follow him, you sigh of what you just witnessed
"Another suspension again, son?" Wayne asks as he pours himself a cup of coffee as he glances at his nephew, washing the remnants of blood from his fists, it appears to be bruised from the punch
"Yeah, I blew Carver's face off" he plainly said
Wayne almost choked from his coffee, he clears his throat
"Pardon?"
He turn around to face him "I punched him after he talked shit to my girl"
He says it all at once, he realized of what he has done, he slowly looks up from his uncle who is now staring at him with a smug on his face
"Your girl huh?" He places his newspaper down on the coffee table
He sighs in exasperation "Who am I kidding? Why am I jealous, she's not even mine"
Wayne's smug smile falls as he stands up goes over to his nephew, joining him on the couch
"Tell me, what happened, son?"
Wayne already knew to what he has done with you, of course he's upset about it, Wayne likes you so much that he treats you normally like you're a part of his family
You can also feel it whenever you spend your time at their trailer, Even Wayne doesn't say it he's not much of a big talker but it just feels natural, it's home and that added more to your pain
"She saw everything that I made a scene, I turned around and saw her there standing, I thought I'm going to receive the same glares but-" he pauses as he shifts from his seat
He looked at the framed photograph of you and him on the top shelf, both arms hanging around on each other's shoulders, his heart beats fast when he looked at your beautiful smile, he misses seeing that smile of yours
"But?" Wayne says as he puts his hand over his knee
"She doesn't do it anymore, what does it mean? Does that mean she's not a-angry at me anymore?"
Wayne is proud of himself, he taught him well, a true gentleman like he is
Except for the idiot part, that's on him
"I think she's giving you a second chance"
Eddie looked at him, he grows nervous about it
"And by that chance, boy, don't ever waste it" he points at him giving him a pointed look
Eddie nods at his uncle as he throws his head on the sofa
This is it, you're giving him a chance, he is still certain that he wants you, he will do anything to make things go back to normal
The question is.... Do you still want him? or you just wanted reconciliation from him?
Tuesday, The Hideout, Eddie is there
Forest Park Hills, you arrived at 7pm
There's so many memories that you and Eddie created in his home, just by looking at it, makes you wanna sob about it
You knocked on the door and saw Wayne standing in there
His eyes shines in delight, the moment he sees you, he has the same grin that you always loved with Eddie
He hugs you that you gladly accept
"Oh! It's you! how wonderful to see you again"
"I'm very happy to see you too, Wayne"
He pulls back and invites you inside "Come on in"
"Where's-"
"He'll be back-"
"After 11pm, yeah I know" you chuckled slightly
He goes straight into the kitchen and offers you a cup of coffee that you always liked and thank goodness he has a box of butter croissant and that he bought after his salary, a treat for him and his nephew
"Thank you" you say softly
"Why'd you come here? Not that I don't mind you coming in here everytime you want"
You're chewing on the flaky pastry "I-I felt bad for him for what I did to him"
He nods as he listens to you carefully
"He deserves to know the all of the answers that he's been dying to know"
You reach out for your mug shakily, you drink it
You can't hold back the tears anymore, you put down your mug before you can break it
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Don't apologize, it's okay" Wayne didn't waste time to hold your hand
You calm down for a bit as you exhale slowly
"I think he learned his lesson"
"W-What do you mean?"
"One time, he told me, he had an idea, he will be on his knees, begging for you, for mercy and ask for forgiveness"
You bursted out laughing as he laughs as well with you
"I embarrassed him, enough, Wayne, I slapped him in the cafeteria, last month"
"You- did what?" His hold on you drops as he places over his hips
You winced at of what you just did "Oh shoot, he's been through, already, Wayne, don't tell me you're going to reprimand him about it, I thought you knew"
He chuckles "He will be, if he loses this last chance"
You smile at him shyly, Wayne knew that you and Eddie had a thing for each other, both of you are just afraid, until one of you finally speaks up and turns into heartache
"I always knew, even my boy doesn't go fully into details but I know what's going on"
"Thanks, Wayne"
He never fails to make you laugh, you always feel safe whenever you're with the Munson's, he radiates the same energy like his uncle
"No, Thank you for making my dear boy happy, I don't trust that school aside from you and his friends, he got a lot of hard times on his life and I thought I would never see him this way, the moment you existed, I just know he'll be okay"
You gave him a heartwarming smile, you sniffled
For what Wayne just said, you know everything will work out just fine
While putting away the music equipments
Jeff looking at his friend, he doesn't want to meddle with his plans but he cares for his friend he just wanted to know
"Do you think you can still have her?" He asks
Eddie has this weird gut that's been going on all night, he doesn't know if it's bad or not
"I think so"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, man" he smiles genuinely and just like that his friend knew he'll be alright
"Good for you, man, I'm happy for you" he holds him by the shoulders
"Just don't do anything stupid to her this time" Gareth walks past by them while holding a big speaker
Jeff calls him out for being too hard on the words that he's giving to Eddie, he just laughs as he says "Got that!" he loves that for Gareth for being real and just speaking the truth
He is thankful for having friends like them
Eddie came home, he is in a state of shock to see you in there, laying on the couch, asleep, with his blanket
"I'm off to work, son" Wayne says as he swings his bag over to his shoulder
Before he exits, he says "You want her?"
"Yes"
"You want her back in your life?"
"Yes!"
"Then fight for her, boy" he says, he gives him an encouraging smile, he leaves while closing the door on his way
Eddie puts his beloved guitar down and places it on the side of the room to where it's safe
He crouch down to look at your face, even you're sleeping, you're so mesmerizing to look at, he missed looking at your pretty face
He watches as your chest rise and up and down, his eyes widens when he recognized the shirt that you're wearing
It's a gift that he gave to you last Christmas, his favorite Metallica bandshirt, you're wearing black leggings and a black cardigan
He can't help himself that he reaches out to touch your face and he caresses it
You stir up and your eyes flutter open and it lands on your sweet lover
"Hey"
"Hi" you rise up and sit down as you scoot over to offer him a seat
He goes under the blankets as well
You yawn and Eddie thinks it's the most cutest thing he ever seen
You rub your eyes as you looked around "Wayne?"
"Uh- he left just recently"
"Oh"
You both sat together in comfortable silence
"I'm sorry" you both turned your heads around at the same time, both saying the same thing in unison
Causing the both of you to laugh, he wheezes
After trying to calm down from your laughter
"I miss you, Eddie"
"I missed you too, sweetheart, so much"
You don't want to spoil the moment but you had to "I don't like that you keep leading me on, building up my feelings and just leave me there hanging, after I confessed my true feelings with you and you acted like it was a joke, it hurt me a lot"
"I know and I am so sorry like truly, I am, if only I go back I would've done better but I didn't"
He moves even closer to you and he can't believe that you let him hold your hand
"I regret it everyday, I hate that I was the cause of your pain, I can't sleep at night thinking about you"
You looked into his eyes, holy shit, he is telling you the truth
"I love you" There's no ounce of dishonest, zero hesitation on his voice
You gasp "That's all I ever wanted to hear"
He closed the gap between the two of you, he slammed his lips onto yours
You kissed him back, both heavily breathing, he smiles into the kiss as he swipes his tongue onto you, you sigh in content as you throw your arms around him, holding the back of his head as he deepens the kiss, you moaned
Until your back is laying flat down on the couch as you both continue to make out
It's the kiss that you always wanted and it's everything
He pulled back "Am I forgiven?" He knits his eyebrows together
"You sure are" you smiled back at him as you pull him by the collar, you kiss him passionately
Eddie might cry, the gut that he was feeling earlier was a good sign
You sat on his lap, he puts his arms around your waist, breathing your scent like it adds to his lifespan, you frown at the bruise from his knuckles
He seethed when you rub your thumb over it "I'm sorry" you whispered
"You really meant it, don't you?"
"Was me drawing blood, isn't enough for you?"
You snorted, you move your body to face him, you're now straddling him
"There's one more thing, though"
"Yes, anything for you, darling" he says as he drew circles on your forearm
"You need to prove it to me" you start grinding on him slowly, he hums, as he looks at you from up and down, he took the hint clearly
You yelped when he carries you putting you down on his bed
"Please, go easy on me, I'm fragile" you say coyly
He chortled "Look, honey, I don't want to rush-"
"Are you gonna do it or spend your rest of your life that I am not yours?" You say bitterly rolling your eyes in the process
"Fuck- ah shit! Of course, I don't want that!"
"Then fucking just do it!"
He pulls you down causing you to squeal from his action making him laugh devilishly
It makes your thighs clench, he saw it and he looks up to you "Didn't know I had a effect on you like that"
You're about to slap him again until he grabs it and puts it down
"I don't think so sweetheart, not this time"
It's the first time you got alarmed from his action, it turns you on
He leans down to whisper behind your ear "I'm the boss here"
He removes your leggings with your underwear at the same time, he removes his shirt and his pants
His eyes grow lustfully as he sees your cunt, so wet for him and only just for him
He puts his hands over your knees, to open wide for him, you shiver under his touch
You reach down at the hem of your shirt, he stops you
"Let me do it, sweet thing" he winks at you
His hand goes behind your back to unclip your bra and remove it
"Oh my gosh" he places his hand over his mouth as he looks at you, admiring your naked body
You became bashful on his gaze, you tried to cover yourself
"I'm so lucky, goddamn!" He exaggerates the last line making you giggle
As he reaches on the drawer, he pulls his boxers down, you saw the length, it's big
Your mouth became dry
"Are you still up for this, sweetheart?"
You nod at him
"I only accept verbal answers, baby"
"Yes, Eddie, I'm ready"
"I'm gonna to take care of you, just tell me if it hurts, I'll stop"
"Okay"
He distracts you from kissing you, your forehead crumples up
"Too much?"
"I can take it, hold on"
"Just relax, angel"
The moment he fills you up, you're so fuck drunk in the feeling, you can't even register that he's inside of you
He holds your hip and raises one leg as he thrusts into you slowly
You whimpered and he is so fuck drunk like as you do, your pussy squelches in the most sinful things sound ever
"Stop clenching, I won't last long" he grunts
Your eyes are heavy-lidded, you run down your hands on his chest as you copy his thrusts making him groan
"Faster, Eddie, please move"
"I got you"
He places both of your legs around his waist, he holds both of your hands as he fucks you speedily
You wrap your legs around him tightly bringing him deeper, making you moan even harder
He flushes down on you, he nuzzles over your shoulder, you wrap your arms around him, you both moan at the sweet sensation
"Wait- Eddie- d-don't stop!" Your moans turn into high pitched screams
You used your last energy to bring him around so you're place on top of him, he gasps as his face contorts into pleasure
"I-I love you so much, E-Eddie" you moan as you grind him
Eddie watches as your pussy devours his cock gliding down smoothly like it was made just for him making him buckle his hips
You arch your back and your head falls down on the side, as you continue to ride him, cheeks are flushed, your eyes are closed can't hold them longer enough, you're so lost in the feeling
Eddie sits up as he holds you close, both burning bodies with so much ecstacy feeling both of your minds, both panting, a bit sweaty for getting all worked up
You kept saying his name "Oh- Eddie- Eddie- Eddie- ah"
"I- l-love you more, sweetheart, y-you're the best thing that is ever happened t-to me, holy shit, baby" he cusses on how good you feel
Making you clench and he groans, you smile to him lazily
He pulled you even more close causing your moans into scream, you grind him so fast, he holds your hips placing your legs around him, he squeezes your breasts, he plays with your clit, making you moan even louder
You start bouncing on top of him as you remove the pieces of his hair on his face
"My p-pretty boy" you say, biting down the another wave arousal coming in
"M-my pretty g-girl" he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear, he says as he holds you tight your legs are trembling, you shout his name as you both came undone
You kissed his cheek as you bring your arms around him, he is still holding you, he kisses your shoulder
"That was awesome"
There he is, the boy that you always loved, he is always unserious
You laughed, your laughing body shakes as you hide your face on his neck, you pulled back
Admiring his tattoos, he smiles down at you
Once you calmed down, he peels himself out of you, you winced at it a little, everytime he tries to pulls out slowly and carefully he says sorry, he takes care of you
He cleaned you up and helped you get dressed
He opens his cabinet, he grab a clean boxers and a pair of DIO bandshirt
He settle for his blue striped pajama pants, he stays shirtless
He says he'll be at the kitchen getting a glass of water, he offers you and you said yes
He has that silly smile again, you missed seeing that
None of that matters anymore, the important is that at the end, you're still together
You noticed a familiar polaroid picture on his bedside table, you reach for it and it reveals
It's you and him together celebrating your 20th birthday, you recognized his handwrite on the bottom, it says
"My best girl, ♡"
Your eyes are now brimmed with threatening tears to spill for any moment
"Here you go-" he stops as he sees what you're holding
"You kept it?" Your tears fall into tears of joy
He shows you a warm smile, he hand out the glass of water and you drank it, he kisses your forehead as he places the glass on the beside table
"I always kept everything that remind me of you"
Your heart flutters to what he just said, you hug him tighter making him shocked but he recovers as he realizes your muffled cries on his chest, he felt the tears that goes down
He pulled back to look at you "W-What's wrong?"
"I don't wanna lose you, Eddie, I want you forever in my life, I'm so sorry for acting like that"
"Hey, you have the every right to act that way, you have to right to be angry with me because what I did is absolutely unforgivable"
You hiccuped and he shushes you as he pulls your closer
"You didn't lose me, sweetheart"
You raise your head up to look at him, your ears are open for what he has to answer
"You save me again, I didn't stop loving you and I don't think that I never will"
His swipes the tears using his thumb, you hold him from his wrists as you say "I also don't think I could never love on another person again unless it's you"
It's his turn to cry in front of you "That is the most extraordinary thing that I ever heard"
You smiled at him as you kiss him
Eddie woke up with you laying on his shoulder, on his bed and the brightness outside, making him eyes shut again
Your arms are laying on top of his stomach afraid that he might disappear from you
The scent of the air is your sweet bergamot lavender perfume, your shampoo now lingers on his bedroom sheets, he smiles down at you kissing you on the top of your head
Eddie overheard the front door opens, he heard him removing heavy boots as he anticipates for his uncle to peek on the slightly opened door
Wayne looks over he sees his nephew already staring at him as his eyes falls on you asleep, he slowly opens the door wide making the door creak
Wayne manages to give his nephew a thumbs up causing Eddie to bite back a giggle, he freezes when you start waking up
"Goodmorning, sunshine"
"Morning, Eddie my love"
"I would never get tired hearing you say things like that"
He leans in to give you a kiss but you pulled back, he got confused "What?"
"I just got woke up and I have bad morning breath" your voice is hoarse from the sleep
He tuts "I don't care" he ignores your protest as he kisses you and you melt with it
"Hey kids, do you want me to join for breakfast? My treat?"
Wayne calls out to the both of you and you jumped at his voice, making Eddie laugh while holding on his chest
"Sure, Wayne, we'll be right there!"
You didn't remove the clothes that you wore last night, instead you eye his red checkered flannel that you always loved, you wear it fond smile coming from your lips
He wore his muscle tee black shirt and wore his another pair of sweatpants
"What do you say, sweetheart? Pancakes or Waffles?"
You laugh at the memory, you feel all bubbly inside, you washed your face and dried it with a clean towel
You brush your hair as you put on a cherry lipbalm
You walked towards him "You always end up getting the same thing" as you watch him putting a silver chain on his neck as he sprays his musk cologne on him, the scent that you always liked
"You always loved Pancakes" you placed your arms above his shoulder
"You always loved Waffles" he tilt his head onto the side as he leans down to kiss you again
"I'd say it's a date" he flashes you a cheeky smile
"It's perfect" he opens the door for you as he hugs you from behind
You, Eddie and Wayne ate happily at Benny's
Eddie always gives you a generous piece of his favorite waffle even you don't ask him to do it
The morning feels vibey and a new beginning, you take in the fresh of nice air
You rest your head on his shoulder as he does the same
You're both finally at peace and happiness once again and this time, you both know, nothing will ever comes between the two of you
🎶Ooh, I need your loving, oooh I need your loving, Ooh I need your loving tonight🎶
here's a lil' sequel of this cuties together again <3 "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy"

My thoughts on MKM: The set was well designed, and I love Ravnica, and being next to Ravnica Remastered helped a lot, but the set just doesn’t feel like it’s on Ravnica. Maybe it’s a name thing like we needed more guild names on cards or something but between the lack of guild names, gold cards, and the modern clothing, it just feels better if this was on New Capenna. I think New Capenna has murders and investigations. Just because it’s mob dominated doesn’t mean detectives don’t exist. So, good set, wrong plane (in my opinion). (And if it wasn’t clear, I wished this had been on New Capenna with mobsters interfering with the investigations)
New Capenna had two other problems:
It just didn't have as large of list of characters for us to use. For example, it was important that the victims were people the audience knew and cared about.
A lot changed at the end of Streets of New Capenna. A return would have to spend time explaining the new status quo which we didn't have space for.

here I have a song that I think that fits his perspective of his (romantic?) university relationship with Robert [lanyon? Idc]. (Just a thought don't kill me please I'm new in this!!)
the lyrics if you are like me, lazy (actually its the early acoustic version lyrics but the only thing that changes is that "when I'm singing" is replaced with "when it's morning" in the final version)

Correct me if I'm wrong and punch me if you hated the song.

You have been best friends with Simon Riley for years now. You didn’t know that he was singing up for the military. Once he tells you both you listen to both of yours favorite band, leading into some tension you both needed solve.

Both you and Simon had been friends for quite some time. Ever since the 6th grade, you both were now in your last year of high school. You have seen all sorts of colors of Simon, from his laughter of the stupid shit you two would do, to him crying from what his father had done to him. You hated his father, you told him when you held him that both Simon and you would leave this place. He would just nod and not say anything.
Today was on of those days that he came over throwing his bag across your room. He rarely cried at this point, just was angry all the time. Which to be fair you would be too, he tells you all the time that he was jealous about your family, how they were so happy.
“Ya know we could just leave.” He said as you both listened to the Metallica song playing in the background.
You scoffed as you drew on your paper pad. “Leave? To where Simon?”
Simon strolled to you plopping himself on the bed. “Anywhere y/n, anywhere but here.”
Simon was a big dude for the grade that you all were in. He started to hit the gym the older he got. Getting himself big and hell considered playing for the local football team. So watching your bed mold with him as he laid down wasn’t a surprise however, the way your bed squeaked made you feel odd.
Lately your feelings towards Simon was developing into something bigger, not just friends but something else. Which scared you cause at this time, gay wasn’t really the trend. You didn’t know how Simon would feel about you liking him that way let alone any other man. So every time you felt something come up you pushed it down, usually hide it well.
Simon looked over at you as your face went bright red. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. I just don’t think it would be smart, I mean what about school?” You stated trying to move pass it.
Simon scoffed looking away up to the ceiling. “You care too much about school,” He paused. “We can go after, once we throw our dumb caps up we can head away.”
“What about your mom or brother.” You said trying to think logical of the situation.
Simon paused thinking, you could tell at least. “They can stay with pops.”
You went quiet knowing that the night before Simon was beaten, you could tell by the fresh new bruise on his face. Simon told you it was just him rough housing with Tommy but you knew better. “Why me?” You asked not thinking about the question.
It didn’t come out rude, no more of finding the answer. Simon sat up and looked at you. You stopped doodling and looked back at him. You both sat there just staring at each other, you tried to look through his eyes to see what he was thinking. “Why does it matter?” He asked almost whispering.
You glared for a moment before chuckling. “I mean you could ask the girl you’ve been walking around with at school.” That came out harsh.
Simon rolled his eyes. “Beatrice,” He stood up at that point. “That’s nothing, plus you’re my mate, so I rather take you.”
That was a couple months ago, now both of you and Simon were listening to your favorite band. While the song changes he cleared his throat and turned it down. “Hey,” You turned to him from your desk having your attention. “I have to say somethin’.”
You turned your chair fully towards him. “Yeah?”
Simon sat there on your bed for a moment looking at you. He looked like he would have dropped dead or wanted to. Simon’s leg bounced before he inhaled deeply. “I signed up for the military,” It went deadly quiet. Military? You blinked blankly at him. He sighed before standing. “I don’t want to be here anymore. The best thing is to go and fight ya?”
“And get yourself killed?” You snapped turning the chair away from him. “Sounds suicidal.”
Simon scoffed. “Come on y/n,” You heard his eyes roll. “It’s basically suicide staying here.”
You knew deep down he was right but fuck it made you so angry. You would have left with him, just school, your family. “I would have left with you.” You mumbled.
Simon sighed again, you heard his steps come behind you before turning you to him. “I’m sorry mate, I knew you would have but it’s a now solution.”
You sat there and thought for a moment before frowning. “When do you deploy?”
Simon frowned and looked away. “A week after graduation.”
You sighed before nodding. “Alright we have to make these last weeks worth it then.”
Simon nodded before laying on the bed. You turned the music up as you both jammed out to the song. It was both your favorites. One that you always played after school, during, before.
You don’t remember how you joined Simon on the bed. You felt his eyes on you, it was like a sixth sense feeling his stare. You looked over for him to be staring. “What?” You whispered.
Simon shook his head adjusting himself before moving to lean on his side. His arm supporting his head. “I wanna try somethin,” He began. “And when this happens I don’t want any thin’ to change yeah?”
You have him a confused look, he had a solid scare in his eyes. You just couldn’t pin point on what. “Okay?” You said doing the same motion.
He swallowed before nodding, his other hand grabbed your chin, with his index finger and thumb. Your eyes widened as he leaned in closer. You didn’t move, you couldn’t, all these years you dreamt of this. It was frown upon during this time, so you didn’t act on anything but here you are. About to kiss your best friend.
When he was inches from your lips, you could feel his breath hitting your lips. “I can stop.” He whispered as he looked at your eyes.
You didn’t say anything but crashed your lips to his. Simon was taken a back before he moved his lips with yours. You hummed into his mouth as both of your hands roamed each other, the music drowning the noise as your lips made noise. Simon pushed you down more into the bed as he straddled your hips, lips not leaving yours. You followed his actions playing with the hem of his shirt.
Simon groaned as he grind down into your pelvis. You felt his cock half hard and you knew damn well he felt yours. He moaned and stopped kissing you. “I-We can stop.”
You shook your head as you lifted your hips grinding back on him. His eyes rolled back and dropped his head. “I have been waiting for this Si.”
And just like that his lips went to your neck. It was like rabid teenagers (which you were.), you both ripped each others clothes off as he reached down to your cock, playing with the tip first. You moaned leaning in more, more friction.
“Needy aren’t ya,” Simon whispered his voice dropping another octave. “Didn’t know that you would be a needy one y/n.”
You glared up at his brown eyes, full of lust. You smirked. “Oh shut it,” He gripped harder and you sighed. “Please Simon do something.” You begged. BEGGED. You didn’t expect the whine that came out.
Simon chuckled. “Alright.” He kissed down your neck then your chest bitting and nipping as he went down. He licked your abdomen, staring right into your eyes. Your heart jumped more and more as he got closer and closer. Once his mouth was near your cock you held your breath. Are you both really doing this? This has to be a dream? This-
All the thoughts left as his mouth engulfed the tip of your cock, you sighed out as you watched him play with it with his tongue. You reached down to his blonde locks and rocked a small bit. “Fuck Simon.” You whispered as he hallowed his cheeks sucking more and more of you.
You never thought you would see Simon like this. Mouth full of your cock as his head bobbed up and down in a slow AGONIZING rhythm. It made you want to fuck his face, make more of a faster pace. His tongue flattened as he went up one last time before the rhythm changed. He light grabbed your balls as he set the pace.
You gasped your back arching. “Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!” You said loudly bucking your hips up. His large arm snacked around your hips and he snapped you back down.
The noises were god amazing, anything you could have imagined. The ‘O’ that was made, you saw his silva and your cum mixed and it shot some fire twist that built in your stomach. You started panting hard as he moaned watching you squirm beneath him. “I’m gonna—.” You didn’t have to finished the sentence as he stopped shoving your cock down his throat. You dick twitch and your whole body felt tingly as your spurts of cum went down his throat.
You heard him growl. Growl with approval. Your body started to relax as you stared up at the ceiling. You felt him give one more suck, having you close your eyes and hiss. You felt him kiss up to you, you stared at him smiling. He smiled back kissing you. You tasted yourself on his lips.
You broke the kiss. “Mine turn.”
He froze before red plastered his face. “Uh,” You looked down and smiled. He came all over your bed. “I was rutting against you bed. Once you came I couldn’t hold back.”
You laughed as you kissed him. “There will always be next time. Right?”
Simon smirked kissing your cheek. “Well I don’t get deployed for a moment. So I think we have plenty of time. Got plenty of room to see how fast you can make me cum.”
Your face blushed and you rolled your eyes. “It’s on.”
Of course both of you would sometimes time each other to see how fast the both of you would cum faster. It was the best memories from high school that you would never forget. You may have never saw him again, even after he came back. However you’ll never forget your first time with Simon Riley.

Sing Me to Sleep
If anyone would've asked Loki in the early days of being an 'Avenger', whether he would prefer to go back to Asgard or stay at the compound, the answer to this question would've been as clear as the day... Going back to Asgard. Nowadays, the God would choose this compound above everything. Not just because you, his wife, were there, no... Since five months and four days, he didn't just come back home to his wife, but also to his baby girl; his own flesh and blood.
It was one of these days, where you and Loki had to choose which one of you should go on a small mission with Nat and Clint. It was a question which needed not much time to get answered. Loki loved to be at home on father duty and you enjoyed to have a small break from time to time. Long story short, you went out on that mission and Loki stayed with Ella.
Being a father was never something on the God's 'bucket list' - until he met little Eisa. Crazy how things could change. Meanwhile, he wouldn't trade being a father for anything in this world - and not even in the nine realms. Nothing could compare to this. Loki looked down, smiling. Nothing could compare to this precious, little creature sleeping tightly on his bare chest right now, with her little legs dangling over each side of his ribcage and tiny hands balled into fist to rest on his muscular pecs. No silver or gold. Not Asgard's throne or any other throne. No tesseract or other infinity stones. Nothing. His heart would never fail to skip a beat, when his eyes landed on Ella; almost aching at how much he loved her. He adjusted the blanket, which covered his legs, half of his upper body and Ella, of course.
It had been a long night for the father-daughter team. Ella was restless, didn't sleep very much, cried a lot and kept Loki on his feet as well. Therefore, it was no wonder that merely after the sun had risen and Ella had her breakfast, that Loki was laying down with her again, hoping for the both of them to get some more sleep. It wasn't rare that the little girl didn't sleep well in the first night when you were gone on a mission for a few days. Loki's guess was that she simply just missed you. Ella felt when you were around - and not around, of course. Believe it or not, but drinking from a bottle at night was something entirely different, than drinking from mama's breast - that was at least how Loki believed Ella thought.
A small whimper, coming undoubtedly out of Ella's tiny, pouty lips pulled Loki out of his thoughts. Within seconds, all his attention had shifted to his baby daughter. "Hey, princess... You already awake again, huh?" Another soft whine. "What's wrong, sweet girl?" The God adjusted her position slightly, tried to make it even more comfortable for her. "You can't tell me you are not tired. You've been awake almost the whole night. You have to get some sleep, sweetheart," he cooed. His thumb started to trace soothing circles in her onesie clad back, while his other hand brushed through her tiny raven curls, trying to lull her back to sleep. Unfortunately, it didn't really help, so Loki decided to draw the Joker card... Singing. "Do you want daddy to sing for you, princess?" And again, another whine. "I take that as a yes." Loki said, quickly pressing a kiss on her forehead. "Alright, let me think... Oh, I think I've got an idea. Your mama showed me this song." The God tried to remember the lyrics, before he cleared his throat and started to sing. "You're the end of the rainbow, my pot of gold. You're daddy's little girl to have and hold. A precious gem is what you are, you're mommy's bright and shining star." Like so often, the singing seemed to do the trick. Ella's whines and whimpers stopped, got replaced by calm and steady breathing. She had fallen back asleep. An amused, quiet chuckle left Loki's lips. "You just love hearing daddy sing for you, don't you, my precious gem."
