Shelf update: I think I finally like them now!

Put them back in roughly the same arrangement I had earlier this year, where they're organized by personal association, vibe, and/or genre. Probably not the most sensible to other people, but it makes sense to me. Also added some little labels to each shelf for the photos, to display my unhinged train of thought I guess. I know some books could technically fit in multiple categories, but I just put them where it made the most sense to me.

Currently it’s taking the form of a person (A) stumbling into a part of the galaxy where there’s a line of robots that coincidentally look almost identical to them, and this person gets snatched up by a group who wants them to use that to go undercover against the group’s opposing enemies

Rn really focusing on one of the opposing group’s leaders (B) really liking the “robot” (even if it makes them feel skeevy for liking a robot of all things so much) and when it comes out that A is actually working with B’s enemies, B is still not aware that A is actually an actual person, instead thinking that the group must have reprogrammed A at some point, and they want them back

It’s about to be a very awkward negotiation meeting for A

13.04.2023 - Day 36/42

Our office is moving because the gvt is demolishing our current building, and my colleague packed and sent over my stuff at the office. Pictured is almost 4 years of meeting notes, to do lists and braindumps 💭 I also had a super productive day wrapping up my tasks because I'm going to be utilising my sick leaves from the medical certificate I got from the doctor for the remaining days of my cast :)

Ramadan Challenge 2023

Ramadan Day 22/30: What is something you always miss about Ramadan when it’s over? / What do you think you might miss this year?

Definitely the "spirit" of Ramadan, that feeling that motivates all of us to strive to do our best in terms of worship and also in terms of our character this month. The way you gravitate towards good deeds and to better your akhlaq, it's truly special during Ramadan and in sha Allah, it lasts with us after Ramadan too. And also, the way there's more focus on family and community as well.

As for this Ramadan, it's a different one indeed and selfishly speaking, I think I might miss being exempted from kitchen duties when I have to do it next year 😂 Also will definitely miss all this extra time and freedom I got for worship as well as leisure 🤍

I guess my one question about posting nsft stuff would need to be answered by people who don't have a tumblr (and I believe you can't leave messages without signing in anymore) - but I feel pretty sure that stuff that uses the content labelling system requires people to have an account to view it, so should I go back to my previous practice of posting things exclusively (when I remember to) on my side blog and not using any tags or labels and work on the assumption that people will just know to look there and reblog them here for a short time using the "nsft" tag or should I carry on as I am and using the content labels and still tagging them so they can be searched for? should I just set up a pillowfort or whatever its called caus tumblr blocks half my shit anyways? is anyone reading this?

Some of yall deeply underestimate how much some cis men are threatened by trans men and our masculinity. How theres so many cis dudes out there that want to rape us, thinking that will make us detransition. How many incels out there are mad at us for betraying womanhood and not sucking their dick. How much they want to force us to detransition, how much they want to kill us and force us into hiding which, to me, minus well be killing us since theyre smothering who we are for the sake of a status quo. We shake their fundamental understanding of the world. Its one thing for a GIRL to be a tomboy to them. They think its cute, like a baby pretending to be an adult. Its a whole other thing for someone percieved as a woman to try to actually be a man to them. They think thw fact we have the gal to assume we can escape their grasp, to escape the kitchen or whatever tf, means we're disrespecting them and trying to "destroy" them, rather than what it really is, us trying to be independent. We're the exact thing these types of cis men hate. Sometimes they tolerate (emphasis here bc im not saying they accept yall. Dont twist my words)trans women bc they fetishize them but they want to completely eradicate us becayse we threaten the patriarchy by virtue of deciding we dont need a man to take care of us, we want to be the man that takes care of ourselves.
