Something I’ve been thinking about lately is that small moment in “Air Turtle” where immediately after the Daves lose yet another game, Leo says how sorry he is and how he’s doing his best as the mascot. This moment is so short but it’s honestly jam-packed with a whole heap of characterization.
His need to apologize for things clearly not his fault - especially when it feels like he messes up the job he was given despite doing the best he can (the phrase “it’s not about you” takes a new meaning when this is one of the lessons to be learned from that - that he is not always solely responsible for things going wrong), his need to save face and make a connection with an older adult man in his life (something he consistently does throughout the series - he’s got a few daddy issues, always collecting potential father figures, it’s no wonder he jumps at the bit to keep rapport), and the way he sounds and looks and the words he chooses really pushes how he is just a kid (“Mr. the Dunk, I’m so sorry”).
Like I know it’s a one off moment that doesn’t truly mean much, but when put against the rest of the series it works really well with the rest of Leo’s established character and helps in solidifying later concepts as well.

Here's the real question I gotta ask myself.
Of those I imagine have their swords sheathed at their hip, which ones, aside from Laurance, do the thing where they casually rest their wrists against the hilt of their blade while resting all their weight on one hip and making a very good point and/or emotionally devastating someone with a few simple words?

Currently trying to understand and pinpoint Ron "Slider" Kerner. Who are you Slider... what are your motivations... what are your goals... what is your favourite colour... why are you in the navy...
if anyone has any concrete thoughts about slider... please share them with me... who is this man... do you think he listens to nickelback? or does he think Metallica is the greatest band of all time?

really need to see Rhett working out on the ranch, during the blistering heat, shirtless, covered in sweat and dirt, with his hair pulled up in a half-up half-down hairdo 😵💫🫠

Thinking about how, after Western Energy, after Stolas got hurt, one of the first things Blitzo did was to seek out his sister. How he tried to reach out, to help her. "Let me help you." He said, right after failing to help someone else.
And now, after Full Moon, Blitzo is once again in the position where Stolas is hurt, only this time it's much more clearly his fault, and unlike last time, Stolas is not going to be asking him to visit.
It makes me wonder if Blitzo is going to be the one seeking Verosika out. To try and reach out and make amends with someone who he might have hurt in a very similar way to how he just hurt Stolas. To say sorry, since can't say sorry the person he most wants to right now.

love the idea of a zuko that gets so insufferably hot as he ages. like he’s almost 30 and people on the streets pass out when they see him, he’s just so gorgeous. even his friends are all like “don’t look directly at me, you’re making me uncomfortable.” but then there’s sokka, who doesn’t treat him any differently at all. he’ll run into zuko while he’s sparring in all his shirtless and sweaty glory but won’t pause one second before he explodes with his new ideas on how to improve the architecture of the turtle duck pond in the courtyard to make it more friendly to other animals and turn it into a healthier ecosystem for the native plants. and zuko loves this part of sokka—he loves sokka—so why is sokka the one and only person who doesn’t seem to find him attractive?
