P.S.: I LOVED the picture of Leo you drew with electricity scars! They looked very cool! I like how you did, at least with that picture, made them glow, just to make them stand out a bit more; looked awesome. Also, Leo looked hella feral in that picture, and I am ALWAYS here for feral Leo, lol.

And I just saw some clips and amvs (one of those clips being from TMNT clips tumblr) where Shredder almost crushed Leo to death and also threw him very far, hitting a car. I would link it, but tumblr hates me, and doesn't let me (at least currently) link stuff anymore in asks (maybe the Tumblr Gods will let me do so again someday...).

And then later on, in a different scene, he started trying to crush Leo's throat with his clawed hands (man, Shredder, haven't you already done enough damage to Leo's throat and/or windpipe, like sheesh, man!).

Also, since someone mentioned April (you drew her so pretty! And I liked the scars you gave her), Casey defin. would have SOME scars too. Like, for sure some head ones, pretty sure that dude got some and/or a lot of head injuries in that show and/or just scars from being such a brawler.

Also, Raph and Karai are brain worm/brain worms scars buddies! I say that, but that is sad as hell, poor Raph and Karai. I could see them bonding over it though. And Leo and Mikey just worrying about them when they talk about it (Donnie would too, but like, Leo is very much an overprotective sibling and would worry about and/or dote on his siblings/family/close friends, and Mikey worries about his big bros a lot, and knows when they are upset) sometimes.

shdgsjbdjsbd thank you again <33 april and casey was great to draw too, dude you have no idea how much i needed to touch up on drawing actual people since being hooked on tmnt bc i went literal weeks drawing turtles instead of humans LMAO thank god for muscle memory or else i would’ve forgotten completely. and, yes, absolutely! casey would def have some head injuries, and more centring around his arms and hands too. he’s buddies with mikey, since they both get head injuries so frequently.

karai and raph would tease each other about their brainworm scars lmao, they’d compare which one is nastier and neither would back down until the others have to mediate the two idiots into a draw. this happens everytime they meet btw

I just think danny has the sense of humour that you tend to get in the face of traumatic events and he usually doesnt have the right crowd to appreciate it. I remember (little bit personal here but dw bout it) when I was dealing with a lot of death related trauma I would constantly make jokes that I found HILARIOUS but would make other people panic and try to comfort me which was very confusing as a reaction, until I found a friend who had gone through simular things and suddenly we were going "eyyyy" at each other's jokes and making pins that said "I'm bi and I saw someone die" as like a fun little club thing.

Now listen. The SECOND danny finds someone like that, someone like jason in all honestly, i just KNOW hes out here making stupid in-jokes and pins and shirts that he finds knee slapping levels of funny, you just know he made jason a shirt to match his own that says "I died as a child and all i got was this lousy t-shirt" and the rest of the birds are staring with fear at jason's reaction before he just ruffles danny's hair and calls him a hilarious little shit or something.

So idk if I would say despise or hate any scene but I can share my least favorite?

1. Aang kissing katara after she told him she needed space. It came off forceful & it really put a creepy energy around aang which I didn’t appreciate. I enjoy aang and i felt it was very out of character for him to do that. i don’t think the writing there was very well thought out and I’ve seen people call him very unkind words because of it,

2. Iroh pretending to be paralyzed so he could lay on top of a paralyzed June. I saw it as a conflict of character because he’s supposed to be this wonderfully amazing so wise uncle and yet he was a fucking pervert here.

3. Ummm I would have made some adjustments to the Zuko comes into azulas room to confront her and she acts oddly sexual around him which idk was very…. Weird to me? I think maybe the writers and animators didn’t have the best communication or something because i understood the direction I THINK they were trying to go but the execution was a little too seductive for my taste.

I’m not sure if there are any more I would remove (I could be missing something but I’m done over thinking it) I WILL SAY … there are some things I would have added to make scenes/plot points I disliked a bit better?

1. katara going up to Sokka after she told him he didn’t love their mother as much as him and apologizing. Like Wtf that was super cruel & the writers should have held her accountable for what she said and made her apologize.

2. Some fucking Ozai iroh background or SOME kind of explainatipn why iroh pretty much REFUSED to have any involvement with Ozai. Even neglecting after three years to tell Zuko Ozai was cruel and a bad father iroh straight up just avoided it in my opinion & then did this whole speech of “brother vs brother is not a way to end the war”

BUTTTT….

Teenager brother & SISTER is totally acceptable go fuck your sister up Zuko bring me back a t shirt. (Or die idk she can shoot Lightning you can’t sucks for you have funnn looovvveeee youuuyu)

3. Ok idk what this counts as (yes it’s a children’s show so I do understand the children had to be the hero’s but like….) WHYYYYY DID every white lotus member stay in BSS??? I think each CHILD soldier group should have had a fucking chaperone or something. Come on iroh for fucks sake dude.

4. I also wish they would have let katara keep her hand scars. It would be a good message that accidents sometimes carry heavy consequences & even if you’re sorry it doesn’t magically fix the situation. I think katara would have been able to be even more relatable & badass if she had hand scars. (I mean spirit water still gave aang a scar so….. idk this is my more person preference haha.)

Ok sorry this went a weird direction but all together I love the show :) obviously. Haha.

Thinking about life, and how long I’ve played star stable and how it is intrinsically tied to who I am as a person not just because of how long I’ve played the game, but because of when I started playing it.

When I started playing star stable I was a child. Won’t elaborate on age but I was young. I didn’t understand or process most of what happened to me in my life at that age (I still haven’t, not really. When you can’t tell dreams, reality and stories apart it can be hard to process anything). And when my sister showed me this web game that launched a whole new game, with a cute cat and horses. I don’t know why, but it was like home.

It’s weird that the island of jorvik feels more like a home than any physical place I’ve lived. Part of that will be unrestricted internet access, but with other games I played as a child (animal jam, club penguin) I didn’t have that same deep resonance inside me. Not quite the same. I would wake up early to play, i concerned my mum with how much I played. And yet, I didnt get why she was so concerned over me playing a game so much. (I get it now, she had every right being worried).

This game was a home. I felt joy, fear, excitement, anxiety, dread and hope and most emotions whilst playing this game. (Shout out to the friend I talked to about my loneliness. Was physically crying irl and didn’t know how to explain it to my parents).

I wasn’t the best at making friends, but that didn’t stop me from finding friends online (and scaring my parents when I talked about strangers on the internet). I made more “irl” friends over time, but still.

I dunno where I’m going with this. I just. I’ve grown up with star stable, and I’ve not really processed it. It’s impacted me a lot. And idk. I think that’s kinda neat but a little terrifying.
