i have this little idea in my head that whenever the victors talk to each other, and one asks how the other is doing, and the answer is really ‘not good at all,’ they instead say, “oh, you know. life of a victor.” and EVERYBODY just understands that means they are crashing and burning but there is nothing that can be done about it, so they just reply and agree, “life of a victor.” and for some reason, that solidarity of just understanding what each other is going through means so much to me.

Hey would anyone be interested in a one shot of Katniss and Peeta's Victory tour but it goes as originally planned and they actually get to meet the other Victors during it or nah?

One of my favorite things about Catching Fire, is that all these new victors with interesting backstories are introduced and the reader wonders who will be the big enemy of Katniss and Peeta. But the surprise is that none of them are. They're all cool as shit.

Which The Hunger Games characters :
1. Do you relate the most?
2. Do you think missunderstood by fandom?
3. Do you want to know better?
Please give reasons for your answers. And you can pick more than one character for each question.
Thank you :)
@curiousnonny
haha these answers are gonna get me thrown out of the Fandom
Honestly, I relate to Gale Hawthorne the most.I know his flaws so well because many of them are my own. The inability to communicate clearly my feelings and intentions to those closest to me. The petty jealous behavior. The trying so hard when it would be healthier and more dignified to just concede defeat and walk away. The being blinded by the short-term goals, the need to win despite the collateral damage. The not getting the bigger picture until its too late. And finally walking away from relationships/friendships because I can't face the person I hurt. Yeah, Gale is like all my worst traits wrapped into one. I am not proud of it, but this connection with him actually does help me write his character better when it comes to fanfiction. (Unlike when I try to write Peeta. Which is so fucking hard because he's perfect but not in a self righteous annoying way)
As far as for who I think is misunderstood, I feel like Effie sometimes gets a bad wrap or is written in a kind of two-dimensional way that doesn't do her character justice. I'll admit I've even done it myself, where I write her as a vapid, shallow Capitolite who's incapable of seeing past her rose-colored Capitol-issued glasses. But Suzanne wrote her with a good character arc and Elizabeth Banks played her with such emotional depth in the movies. So she honestly deserves better than to be written as a two-bit character.
I would actually like to know many of the other Victors better. The ones who competed in the Quarter Quell and also the mentors. I just feel like they would each have incredible stories to tell.

What were the victor's talents for the 11-15th victors and Rowan?
Think the talent stuff was a thing that became official a bit later. Or at least it started to occur naturally seeing how the Victors don’t have to work, so Victors started on different hobbies to kill time and distract themselves.
Mags : Crocheting
Ash : Writing
Ford : Making model trains and planes
Minerva : Weaving
Claude : Trap making Writing as well
Rowan : Making necklaces and such
