Halfway to my Master’s

Well here we are, six months into my master’s degree program and we just finished Marketing class.

I have been doing Marketing for “a few years” so this class was not that difficult for me; however, there were still things I needed to learn.

My original goal for this class in reflected in the image below. And I was successful in learning what I set out to learn.

Even though I have been doing marketing for a few years, I needed to learn how to come up with a documented marketing plan. You see, I am easily able to figure things like this out “in my head” and since I was the only one doing the marketing for my company, I really didn’t need to know how to document and actual marketing plan. Now I know how and I am looking forward to putting it into action within my business plan.

For me Marketing is all about “attracting attention” and often that is almost impossible without the content to back it up. Images, text, video . . . all of that is essential in marketing a transmedia company and the products it releases and without “quality content”, investing in marketing efforts could be a wasted expense.

Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media sites are a key element in marketing today. With millions of potential customers on each platform it should seem like it would be a given to include social media in a digital marketing plan, but we must not forget traditional marketing opportunities like billboards, face-face meet & greets, newsletters, and media advertising.

The only way to ensure that we take every opportunity to reach as many people in our target market, is to use an integrated marketing campaign; which I have been doing with Midian Entertainment and the BREED since we started.

I enjoyed the class and learned a lot but I’m most anxious to get to my Advanced Entertainment Law class, so until next month it’s back to research and development!

I really liked the characters and story lines in these two, the world however was not for me. “The Breeds” are children that have been experimented on, only to become the bane of society... not a favourite urban fantasy read at all.

So a few days ago you said that German pinschers are notably different from dobes,so I started searching their temperament/reading what breeders have to say on thebreed. They sound very similar to dobes,the only notable differences I got was that they tend to be a bit less biddable and more prey driven.Would you mind elaborating a bit on how they are different?I also found that DCM wasn’t mentioned anywhere,however given how some kennel clubs don’t mention it for dobes idk how true that is.

As said before, german pinschers are much more of the old school true terrier temperament more similar to the standard schnauzer than the doberman. The doberman has some similarities due to having used german pinscher in its early breed makeup, but if you are looking for a doberman, a german pinscher will do nothing but frustrate and disappoint you. Go out and meet some and you will see what I'm talking about.

A quick look at the German Pinscher Club of America's website says that heart health incidents are on the rise in the breed, and though currently fairly minimal, frequent and vigorous heart testing is recommended to stop the problem in its tracks. There is no mention of DCM and in fairness that's typically a "big dog" problem anyway, but plenty of CHF and genetic heart defects, which scare many considering a backcross to the German Pinscher. DCM is the big killer of dobermans but it's not the only heart problem within the breed, with rates of heart murmurs and CHF occuring at absurdly high amounts even with no trace of DCM itself.

Creed's heart was failing, his last day of life, a single week after I was told his heart was great and he was in good condition. We think it's due to the sheer amount of tumors inside of him, but... if it can come on that fast, I don't know anyone who will consider a backcross to any breed that even mentions heart problems tbh.
