michie coffee shop AU has taken over my mind

i was thinking about it for two hours non-stop and its just AAAAAAA i want to draw or write it so badly, maybe even start a comic (which i won't finish but still)

i just love to think what max has to work at beanie's bc he lost a game and his dad made him work to earn a place in his house (max now basically rents his own room). so max has to spend the first half of the day at school, then work at coffee shop until 10pm and do football between school and work. he's tired AF and slowly looses his grasp over everything

its like he enters the adult life earlier, and max knew from the beginning what he will suck at it ("don't need no one to tell me // high school will be my peak"), so the fact what he still needs to go to school, earn money AND remain the star quarterback drives him insane. he's 25/8 frazzled, he can't do everything, barely sleeps (still needs to do his homework after job and he struggles with it all the time) and his blood is 80% celsius at this point. and then the guys like callahan show up, trying to overthrow max and make his job unbearable

but while his life feels like a burning dumpster, max (unwillingly in the beginning) serves the nerds who are the regular customers, and especially richie who's uncle has a crush on max's supervisor. max can't bully his customers (all he can do is spit in people's coffee like emma taught him), but then richie does nothing to make his job even worse. he's kind, he seems to really like max's coffee and more important! richie doesn't make him sing when tips (max wants to believe its a normal practice in their family to give 5$ tip for every order, or richie leaves 1$ for everyone in their nerd group bc no one else do that). max can't even spit in his coffee after that, and that is something!

Thinking about how being a Jedi (or any force weirder) is not for the feint of heart.

Thinking about the clone troopers or other natborn officers coming to realize this as the Clone Wars drags on.

Thinking about Jedi receiving visions, but they are the kind that paralyze them, leave them with blood dripping from their noses and ears ringing, leading all the surrounding troopers to panic only to learn that this is a semi normal thing.

Thinking about Jedi being hit with waves of the cosmic force and being sucked in so they feel every living thing in their ship or even on the planet they are on. It’s worse for Anakin Skywalker because of how much more powerful he is. No one knows what to do when their Jedi suddenly freezes and goes limp, their eyes seeing things others can’t, but don’t touch them unless you want to get sucked right in with them…

Thinking about padawans still growing more powerful in the force, losing control in a sudden burst of high emotion (pain, grief, anger), sending everything around them flying through the air as they panic.

Thinking about how being a Jedi is not as simple and easy as some people believe.

okay but i need ALL of the fics that take place during crozier getting sober. like i feel like there is SO much potential here bc it is THEE biggest turning point for him! esp with regards to fitzjames and their relationship. like fitzjames seeing crozier's choice to sober up as this huge defining moment, one that ultimately and unequivocally earns his respect (back, really, because he DID have respect for crozier at first, before he met him. and now he sees that that respect wasnt misgiven, not really). and like the way this choice is what causes the first crack in james' mask around crozier! ugh it's just DELICIOUS.

just watched the first season of the bear (the second one is not available in my country yet) and I need more fanfics for this show

give me everyone else in the restaurant realizing Syd and Carmy are basically dating without realizing

give me a look at Richie's life pre divorce and Mikey's death (I have the headcanon that Michael was his kids godfather)

give me a social media au where the general public gets to react to the absolute mess that somehow works that is that kitchen

or maybe some network offers them a shit ton of money in return for allowing them to make a documentary on the start of the restaurant, which means the in universe audience is just reacting to that

give me the crew finding out Syd and Carmy are together through security cam footage of a day where they stayed last to finish cleaning up and maybe made out a bit

I have so many ideas, but don't really want to write them because I am shit at writing romance and haven't really seen the second season. If anyone writes these let me know, please, if not, wait a couple of months and I might write them myself.

Hazbin Hotel's Peter character has the worst fucking design. EVER.

Og Peter is a Jewish fisherman who's top most notable biblical actions were cutting of a priest's slave's ear with a sword, denying Christ three times before the rooster's crow, and being crucified upside down. None of those elements are in his design.

Instead he's a boring ass, bland, blonde and blue eyed angel. And like why the fuck is he even an angel?! That's not how angels work!!

I'm gonna be real with you; there is very little Snily and even fewer stories I've found that do them both justice. I find that many make Lily a damsel in distress with like, her only driving motive to be a mother, and James is ALWAYS a POS. And Snape becomes an alpha male who is too controlling and it just skeeves me out. Lily loses all autonomy the second they do the deed and it's just not my thing. Even with the few Snape/OC fics I've read; if Snape is not like feral and nasty and with someone who can match that energy, I have no interest in it.

I have two major stories that come to mind with A+++ Snily. I have discovered recently that I am somewhat of a Snape Snob when it comes to fics where I only enjoy it if he is an unhinged, bitter little asshole who is a little nuts and Lily is like, the only one who can stomach him and keep him somewhat calm, but she can absolutely match his level of crazy if/when she needs to.

Come Once Again and Love Me - laventadorn

I read this nearly a decade ago and I haven't picked it up again because it just breaks my heart and puts it back together. It's a "Snape gets a do-over" but he does NOT want the do-over - he doesn't want anything to do with Lily at all at first - but the author does such a beautiful job of showing Snape as a bitter 30-something-year-old back as a teen just as his life took a dark turn. And Lily is AMAZING - her grief over losing her life old life (when she thinks of Harry it's gutting) but finding Snape again is just - UGH. She doesn't put up with his shit. She matches him and doesn't back down. She's awesome. A true queen.

A Dream Carved in Stone - diadelphous

I forgot about this one for a long time and recently reread it - I think I accidentally took inspiration from it with a certain potion LOL so I am giving full credit here - BUT - THIS is the best Snily I have ever read. It's during the first war where Lily and James never got together and Dumbledore approaches Lily and asks her to get Snape to confess he's a Death Eater. Their love story is - SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

They are both a little broken and a little crazy, but when people ask me how it would've gone down if Snape had known about Lily being pregnant, THIS story is how it would've gone down. When he's Soft with Lily it's so natural, it's so tender and raw and I die a little. Also, his reaction when Lily says she's pregnant is 10/10. It makes me laugh and cry every time.

I'm sorry I don't have more but I genuinely don't know of any others (at least that I like). I love this pairing so much LOL it makes me so sad there's nothing out there.
