What are your ryomina headcanons? I've loved these two since I played P3 FES, and I'm so excited to get back into the fandom^^

hi!! thank you so much for the ask, welcome back to the p3 fandom, it's always a delight to see new and old ryomina fans alike! 🥺💛💙

as for headcanons, here's a "few" i that i tend to come back to a lot! my interpretations of them are influenced from both the source material and other's fanworks, so i've linked to them as i saw fit! hcs in no particular order under the cut because oops this got long (900 word bullet point list, mentions of reload content up to 1/1)

minato's hair is dyed blue (hair originally brown, you can see it in his roots!) and he has a beauty mark on under his left eye. i like mirror imagery and there's definitely a few arts i've rb'd that portray them this way :) (e.g. this one by feliichu and this one by marasschino)

as far as i'm concerned the bathhouse scene from the manga where ryoji's hair down = similar shape to minato? that is canon to me. this art from xierru is a fun depiction of hair down ryoji :D

ryoji is homeless. everyone say thank you foxmulder_whereartthou for this awesome fic it's why i have the headcanon! but like seriously. we have no idea where ryoji lives and i could believe this.

minato dying at the end of the game is sad to an outsider's POV BUT!!! ryomina gets to be together in death for the rest of their lives (this illustration from mafuwara is a gorgeous representation of them as nyx avatar + the seal)!

speaking of the seal, they are like telepathically communicating to me in the great seal together. (mymp3 had a comic wip with this. give it a looksie :D)

ryoji likes cuddling with minato because he's warm :) (something something orpheus has fire affinity, minato is warm by extension and ryoji is cold because he's death)

ryoji's camera roll is filled with pictures of minato! ryoji... loves life, to me. and i feel that photography and journaling are perfect ways of expressing gratitude and capturing the moments in life that are most important to you :3

my other favorite activity for these two is stargazing- i feel like it's something they could appreciate either in life or death (looking at the stars from the great seal...)! they do a bit of this in the fic eurydice's vow by crescentmoontea (P5R spoilers, takes place in third sem it's a very fun fic concept).

between ryoji and minato i feel like ryoji was the one who fell in love first- and it doesn't really click in place for minato that he loves ryoji until december hits (appriser reveal + ryoji transforming into thanatos). its about the realization that ryoji was with him for his whole life and that he gets him like no one else does.

ryoji is like a sad and wet puppy who is so scared minato won't like him back. he is so scared of being rejected by minato to me like. this boy straight up deflates after he does his "i know i said i wanted us to be friends, but... i actually want to be something more." / "what about you?" on 12/1 ???

AND SPEAKING of wet puppy ryoji. ryoji is like. every animal in the world to me. he's a bird. he's a cat. etc. and also ryoji knows every language in the world ever and uses it to express his love for minato. see this fic from superheroics to see what i mean.

both of them are lactose intolerant. "this isn't lactose, it's milk!" i definitely think ryoji would make himself sick eating ice cream and milk he doesn't know what lactose is. (i made a silly poll about this once and the tags were very entertaining.)

i see minato as transmasc or nonbinary depending on the day (schrodinger's headcanons babey they're simultaneously true and not true at the same time!!). either way he's not cis to me and ryoji is like. His Gender. anyway go read this fic by nail_gun for t4t ryomina :D !

ryomina are WEIRD GUYS TO ME!!! they are so strange and they understand each other better than anyone else because of the circumstances of their relationship!!! if you asked them to do the "i wonder what i taste like" meme i think they'd start biting each other (affectionate) tbh but that's just me.

after ryoji gives minato the music box in 12/31 on reload, minato listens to the music box every night in january. this boy has insomnia and also chronic illness to me (things that housing death does to you). but i think he finds comfort in the melody and memories he made with ryoji.

in general, i think it's fun to imagine minato taking ryoji to places and show him things he's interested in! i feel that ryoji takes a lot of interest in minato's life, this isn't really a hc because in reload, minato DOES give ryoji a tour of the school (11/9) and possibly port island (11/12). but ITS CUTE OK! (tangentially related fanwork: this series of doodles from vinnigami: 1, 2, and 3)

not a hc but minato's kindness is like the backbone of their relationship and i think we would not have the ryomina we know and love today if minato wasn't such a kind soul. oh minato.... we can learn so much from you... like ryoji did!

anyway! that's all the hcs that i could think of, thank you for the ask! i had a lot of fun answering this, these two mean a lot to me 💛💙

My Bucchigiri theory is that it's basically following the theme of the Disney Aladdin, where both Aladdin and Jasmine are trying to put up their own facades and get into trouble trying to be different people. Arajin trying so hard to be a tough, entitled delinquent, while Matakara is trying to be the nice guy with a heart of gold, and it's all coming from their childhood trauma. Which means the second half is about peeling those facades back and revealing who they really are.

Yes I feel the same way. It is very much based on Disney's Aladdin.

Here are some parallels from Disney's Aladdin that I have observed. Keep in mind this is just me guessing and I could be wrong about their intentions lol

Arajin = Aladdin. Obviously. There's not much question about that one.

Senya = Genie. Again, obviously.

kenichirou = the cave of wonders. He shuts himself away in his room and doesn't talk. idk seems kinda cavey lol

The mi (魅) in minatokai can means wonders. The swirly logo of their group is like the clouds behind the cave... he's got things that kinda look like clouds in his outfit.

Matakara = the treasure in the cave of wonders. His name means true treasure.

Zabu = Abu. His design looks similar to Abu and he is the one who accidentally caused the problem between the two groups. Abu in Aladdin was constantly accidentally causing problems.

Komao = magic carpet. He wears a kilt and his hair looks like tassels. very carpet like. He is also noted as being best friends with Zabu.

Abu and the carpet are commonly seen together.

Marito = Sultan. He is the leader of Siguma and he's constantly trying to force people to eat majibobs. It's like the sultan forcing Iago to eat crackers.

Outa = Also Sultan? I feel like they split his character into two people lol. Together they're the "God Kings"

Mahoro = Jasmine. in that she's related to Marito and Arajin's love interest.

Jabashiri = Jafar? His name means running snake and he wants to take over after Marito (the sultan) leaves. I think his character is split with Akutarou, though.

Hagure = Rajah/Iago. I mean look at the tiger on his hat. Totally tiger? Meanwhile, his name means rabbit and I have a feeling he's supposed to be Iago too since he's best friends with Jabashiri lol.

Akutarou = Jafar. He wants to take over both Minato kai and Siguma Squad. He also has a second genie and Jafar becomes a second genie. His name literally means "bad guy" (the pronunciation, the kanji are different) and the name of his group is NG boys and NG usually stands for No Good lol

I've given up sorting through and grouping things together. It is what it is. Which is a bunch of random ships and fics in a mixer.

Anyway, here it is:

A black dot • means it’s a one-shot

Brackets (…) means it's still being updated/not done/WIP – and I'm paying close attention to it

(Pairing/Pairing+) -> Time travel or dimension hopping – something along those lines

A heart ♡ means it's focused on Sexy times (it's pure filth PWP, or like, a plot focused on getting to the porn part lol)

xwannaflyx: “Saving the World (but Mostly Yourself)” (Gai/Kakashi+) part of a series, one of three Kakashi's plan to save the world is something vaguely involving exposing Danzo's involvement in everything and stalking Orochimaru to make sure he can keep an eye on any potentially apocalyptic projects. His plan did NOT involve becoming the student of Orochimaru. (Also his plan kinda sucks and Sasuke may have had a point when he said he didn't have a plan.) (Realistically he didn't have much of a plan and thank god for Tsunade because both Kakashi and Orochimaru are a hot mess)

TJ_Dragonblade: - “Delayed (or, Why Kakashi Is Never On Time)” (Gai/Kakashi) ♡ • The real reason Kakashi's always showing up late.

Thehoundisdead: “I Was Born to Press My Head Between Your Shoulder Blades” (Gai/Kakashi) • “Ugh,” Kakashi sighs loud before turning quick and sharp in Guy’s grasp so they face each other, only to absolutely slam his face against Guy’s chest. If Guy were a lesser man it might hurt, but as is, he just laughs at his Rival’s antics, even as said rival curls his fist tight on Guy’s bare waist, “I’m trying to sleep, be quiet.” “But Kakashi,” Guy actually whispers this time, jaw moving against the top of Kakashi’s head, “You are in my bed.” Or, 5 times Kakashi fell asleep on Guy and one time Guy understood.

Forgetme: “Phoenix” (Gai/Kakashi) • Kakashi comes back to life. It takes a while. (takes place after chapter 450)

Aventria, iluxia: - “Hiding in the Leaves” (...) (general) last update: 2023 In another life, Orochimaru never leaves Konoha, opting to remain within the village that equally reveres and reviles him. Fighting a bitter battle against forces within the village that are more influential and well-positioned, he finds himself gifted with one last shining opportunity: three children, a team of genin, handed to him because Konoha has no better choice. Orochimaru agrees to become a jounin-sensei for the first and the last time, taking on the next generation's Team Seven: Uchiha Sasuke, Nara Shikamaru, and Uzumaki Naruto.

Chrononautical: - “An Unexpected Homecoming” (Kakashi/Minato+) The Reaper dies and those who were sealed alive are released.

Tozette: “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” (Sasuke/Sakura) • Sasuke is actually eighteen the first time he looks at Sakura and realizes abruptly that he wants her.

Sunshine_sparrow: - “With Nothing On My Tongue” (...) (Kakashi/Naruto) last update: 2023 Naruto realizes the ability of the Kage Bunshin the night after being attacked by Mizuki. At first he just wants to use them to help him train; then the true usefulness of the jutsu begins to reveal itself. Featuring baby badasses, Tank Team Seven, snarky dogs, a special guest appearance by Kakashi's Guilt Complex, and many, many fix-it cliches.

Grilled Cheesby: - “The Jikan Phenomenon” (...) (Sasuke/Kakashi+) last update: 2020 The Jikan Phenomenon is something that the Uchiha rarely talk about. The sharingan and it's capabilities when it comes to space and time are largely unexplored. The sharingan has many techniques that, with enough training, the wielder can control. The Jikan Phenomenon is not one of them.

Chespin: - “The Cessation of Panic“ (Sakura/Sasuke) • "There's a thing called a hospital," she starts. "I recognize that Orochimaru was mean to you and probably never took you to one, but they're wonderful things. You should go there. Now." Or: Five times Sasuke shows up injured on Sakura's doorstep.

CherFleur: “Tsundoku” (...) (Kakashi/OC) *discontinued, rewrite in progress, also has some unconnected fics within the same fic universe Hatake Kakashi had a problem. Some would argue that he has many problems but while they may be right, he's perfectly content ignoring them. And denial. He's very good at denial. Well, this time, technically he had three genin-shaped problems, but right now his most troublesome - ah, he can practically feel the Nara cringing - problem is a student so covered in scented lotion, shampoo, and soap that she could qualify as an implement of torture. This needed a kunoichi's touch. Preferably one without a team of her own, definitely not someone who would traumatize them even more... Ah ha. He's a genius. Yes, Nagisa Asuka will be perfect. Hopefully, she won't stab him when he asks. People often try to stab him. He wonders why.

Araceil: "Accidental Providence" (...) (Naruto/Neji) (000) deleted fic, but I still have the google doc saved An AU where Naruto graduated the first time he was at the academy and ends up on Gai's team with TenTen and Neji (in cannon he failed to graduate 3 times I think, and then after that the Mizuki thing happened) *obviously since the fic was deleted, I don't have the official summary, so my own will have to do

Wolfy Tales: - “I Found You Missing” (Kakashi/Sakura) • 'They're asking us because these soldiers have absolutely no one left to write home to' Sakura thought with a frown. So she signs up for the Shinobi Letter Exchange, not realizing how large the consequences would be.

Mx. Irony: - “Curiosity and the Copycat” (...) (Kakashi/OC) last update: 2020 Hatake Kakashi had a routine of sorts: train, complete missions, visit the Memorial, and read Icha Icha Paradise. Then that routine was interrupted by a nosy, overly friendly civilian.

Applecrumbledore: “Awful Wonderful” (Gai/Kakashi) • Gai spoke at the reception that followed Kakashi's inauguration. “My eternal rival—it has been one of the premiere joys of my life to watch you transform from the curious, brooding youth whom I admired into the intelligent, powerful and truly kind man who sits before me today, whom I am proud to respect and adore.” He raised his sake cup and it looked comically small in his big hands. “To our Rokudaime.” Adore. Kakashi turned the word over and over again in his head and tried to remember if Gai had said it before in all his flowery language about friendship. He couldn't.

Blackkat: - “Backslide” (Naruto/Kakashi+) Naruto’s friends are gone, his lover is dying, Konoha is destroyed, and Madara’s second return has pushed the entire world to the brink. Hunted and harried, Naruto is sent back in time to upend Madara’s plan before it even starts, and sets about changing everything. Butterfly effect nothing: the world is at stake, and Naruto is hardly about to let it fall to ruin once more. Not while he’s still breathing.

Ideaoforder: - “Roots and Wings” (Kakashi/Iruka) When Naruto is kidnapped from his orphanage at age three, Kakashi is so done with this shit. He gets Naruto back, tells the Hokage where to go (politely, because he isn't suicidal), and raises the boy himself. Or, you know, tries and is proud when there aren't too many explosions. Then everybody starts to copy him and it's a whole thing.

Flialinginlove: - “The Bingo Book” (Kakashi/Iruka) Kakashi avoided relationships. He didn't want to put others in danger. So he couldn't understand why there was a face staring back at him, as a sub-entry to his own, in this Bingo Book. Umino Iruka (lover) the caption read. It didn't matter that it wasn't true. The Book was fact, and to Kakashi's enemies, Iruka had just become a weakness they could exploit.

Flialinginlove: “Interested” (Kakashi/Iruka) • Iruka sees Kakashi without his mask and suddenly seems a lot more interested in him than he's ever been before.

Flialinginlove: “Catching Lightning in a Bottle” (Kakashi/Iruka)♡ Iruka gets a little more than he bargained for when he summons his first demon.

Flialinginlove: “Scent and Sensibility” (Kakashi/Iruka) In a world where most people identify their mates by scent the first time they meet, Kakashi and Iruka take a more scenic route. Or, the one where Iruka does an excellent job of hiding the fact that he is an omega, right up until he gets stuck in a cave with Kakashi. (A/B/O dynamics but without mpreg, dub-con, and rivers of gushing fluids, also trying to avoid overly stereotyped gender roles.)

Modern AU! Kakashi is Naruto's guardian who meets his child's teacher for the first time and immediately falls in love with him

[Part 5]

Rin heard the sound of the door opening and walked out into the corridor.

“You are earlier than I expected,” - said the woman. - “Come on in.”

Kakashi took off his shoes and followed the woman into the kitchen.

“Naruto fell asleep not long ago. I think it’s better for you to spend the night in our house tonight, and tomorrow morning you will go home.”

Kakashi nodded.

“Go get changed while I prepare some tea.”

The man headed to the bedroom, opened the closet and pulled out Obito's household items. After quickly changing his clothes, he looked into Naruto's room. The child was fast asleep, hugging a pillow in his sleep. On the way to the kitchen, Kakashi also looked into the room. Obito rocked Yuki in his arms, who stubbornly refused to fall asleep. Kakashi grinned when he noticed his friend's doomed face and headed to the kitchen. Rin lowered the cup of aromatic tea in front of him and sat down opposite him.

“How did everything go?”

“Fine,” - Kakashi replied.

Rin hit his arm not too hard.

“I need details.”

Kakashi rolled his eyes.

“Come on, Kakashi, I spend almost 24 hours at home. Soothe my curiosity.”

Hatake knew that Rin was hiding her concern with a joking tone. The woman was worried about him and he didn’t mind calming her down a little.

“So how did it go?”

Kakashi took a deep breath.

“Perfect.”

“Perfect?” - the woman asked and raised her eyebrows in surprise. - “It’s unexpected to hear this from you.”

Hatake chuckled and leaned back in his chair.

“You know, I’ve never thought about a relationship seriously before,” - he suddenly admitted. - “You and Obito were always together and it was as if you were made for each other. Just like Minato nii-san and Kushina-san, as well as Jiraiya ji-san and Tsunade oba-san. I had thoughts about relationships, but after Naruto appeared I stopped thinking about it completely. My values have changed, I have invested all my time and all my strength in raising a child. It seemed like I didn’t need anything else. But when I met Guy…”

Kakashi fell silent. He shook his head with a slight smile on his face.

“Time seemed to stand still. I couldn't move and couldn't even think. I acted like a real idiot the first time we met. And I continued to disgrace myself every time we met. And I plucked up courage and asked him out on a date, but, to be honest, I was afraid. I was terribly afraid that I would ruin everything. And I didn’t want to ruin anything.”

“Oh, Kakashi,” - Rin covered his hand with her palm.

“But everything went well,” - the man said quickly. - “I controlled myself and didn’t act stupid. I told him about my past and learned a lot about his life. With every word he said, I began to like him more and more. Damn, Rin, I fell in love with him so quickly that it even scares me a little.”

Kakashi laughed softly and covered his face with his hands. Rin patted his shoulder reassuringly.

“What if I ruin everything?” - there was a muffled whisper of a man.

“Stop thinking about it,” - the woman said in a firm voice. - “You won’t ruin anything, I’m sure of that. There is no need to rush anywhere, but there is no need to slow down either. If you feel good together, then enjoy every moment and let everything happen in its own time.”

“You're right. Thank you, Rin.”

The woman smiled softly at her friend.

“I’m happy for you, Kakashi,” - she said sincerely. - “You deserve happiness.”

Kakashi returned her smile and, hearing footsteps, straightened up in his chair and changed his expression. Rin shook her head reproachfully and turned to her husband approaching the kitchen.

“Did you take everything?” - Kakashi asked Naruto, who was holding a huge green backpack in the shape of a frog, another gift from Jiraiya.

"Yes!"

“Great, let's go then.”

They left the house and walked to a nearby park. Two weeks passed before Kakashi managed to get the long-awaited day off from work. Not without the help of Shiranui. Kakashi looked warily towards the older man every day, but he made no attempt to start a serious conversation. Genma showed no signs at all that he knew about Kakashi and Guy's relationship, which could not but alarm Hatake even more. Why did Shiranui behave this way? Kakashi had not understood the man before, and now he had become an even greater mystery to him. Hatake shook his head, it's time to throw all unnecessary thoughts out of his head. He and Guy managed to set up another date and they agreed to spend it in the park with the children. Kakashi spent the whole morning calming himself down and putting himself in the right frame of mind. He still didn’t fully know how to behave with Guy, and there were also three children. Kakashi didn't have a very good relationship with people in general, and children were an even bigger problem. The only exceptions were Naruto and Yuki, his goddaughter, who was only a few months old. But Kakashi knew that as soon as Yuki grew up, she would torment him a lot in the future.

Naruto's presence had a calming effect on Kakashi, but still could not completely clear his mind of various thoughts. Hatake nervously moved his shoulder and quickened his pace. Once they arrived at the park, Kakashi found an empty spot and spread a large blanket on the soft green grass. Guy took charge of preparing food for the picnic, Kakashi was only required to bring drinks. Hatake had already managed to pull out all the juices from the bag and was now looking around restlessly. Naruto, sitting next to him, was bouncing excitedly in one place. This child was overjoyed when he heard that they were going on a picnic. And when he found out that Guy and several other children would be with them, he could no longer be calmed down. He excitedly ran around the house, collecting various toys that he planned to show to Guy's children. Kakashi watched his chaotic preparations with a slightly worried smile on his face. He had no doubt that Naruto would easily find a common language with children, but Kakashi himself…

“Guy sensei!” - Naruto's loud scream made Hatake flinch.

Kakashi turned around and noticed a man approaching. Guy's usual wide smile shone on his face. Kakashi, out of habit, glanced over his figure, noticing that today he was wearing a light T-shirt and loose pants. Kakashi then turned his gaze to the children walking next to the man. Neji walked to Guy's left, his light eyes with unreadable emotions looking straight at Kakashi. Hatake swallowed and looked at the girl walking next to him; TenTen, with an overly menacing look, walked next to Guy. Kakashi exhaled heavily and looked at Lee, who had a slight smile on his face. The boy raised his hand and waved at them in greeting. Kakashi felt a surge of relief. At least one child was quite friendly. Hatake believed that one out of three was a pretty good result.

“Hi,” - Guy greeted as they approached.

Kakashi nodded at him. The children stared at him unblinkingly. Naruto climbed between them and smiled brightly.

“Hello! My name is Namikaze Naruto! Are you Guy sensei’s children?”

It was impossible to resist Naruto's charms, Kakashi knew this from himself. Not even a couple of seconds had passed before the children had already turned their attention to the boy.

“Yes,” - Lee replied.

“Cool!” - Naruto's big blue eyes shone with delight. - “Your dad… I mean, Guy sensei is so cool!”

Kakashi sighed mentally. Guy smiled at the corner of his lips.

“Yes, you're right,” - TenTen replied and took a step forward. - “Tou-chan talked a lot about you. Do you want to go to play while the adults cook?”

Kakashi noticed her calm but firm tone of voice. Naruto nodded to her without any objections and all the children went to the nearby swing. Kakashi looked at them and exhaled heavily. After a couple of seconds, he felt Guy's hand on his lower back.

“Are you okay?” - asked the man.

Kakashi nodded.

“I’m a little nervous,” - he admitted.

“No need,” - Guy squeezed his tense shoulders reassuringly. - “Everything will be fine.”

“What if they don’t like me?” - the question escaped his lips before he could stop himself.

Guy turned him around to face him and gently touched his cheek with his palm. Kakashi looked fascinated into his deep, dark eyes.

“Kakashi, don't worry about it. They are my children and they love me, but they also respect me and my choices. You just need to get to know each other better, I am sure that with time they will love you too.”

Kakashi closed his eyes and leaned forward, hugging the man.

“You think so?”

“I'm sure of it.”

“Okay,” - Hatake felt the gentle kiss that Guy left on his neck.

“Let’s get some food ready before the kids get back.”

Guy pulled away and began pulling containers of food out of his bag. Kakashi felt a surge of confidence after Guy's words. He was pushing himself too hard. What could possibly go wrong? Kakashi wouldn't let anyone or anything ruin everything. Not now, when everything between them is still so fragile.

“Hey. Watch where you’re going,” - Kakashi heard a loud child’s voice and raised his head, looking for Naruto.

A tall boy, who looked to be about twelve years old, towered over Naruto, practically poking his finger in his face. Kakashi began to rise when he felt Guy's strong grip on his arm. Hatake raised one eyebrow questioningly. Guy shook his head and nodded towards the children. Kakashi turned his gaze to them. TenTen stepped forward and shielded Naruto with her body. The girl tilted her head slightly to the side and looked gloomily at the unfamiliar boy.

“Watch where you're going,” - she said. - “Or is your vision failing you?”

The boy irritably knitted his eyebrows on the bridge of his nose and straightened his shoulders, looking down at the girl.

“Who are you, brat?”

“I’m the one who will break your arm if you don’t turn around and leave here now.”

The boy looked at her with contempt, but then his gaze collided with Lee and Neji standing next to her. Realizing that he was in the minority, the boy snorted and walked away. TenTen rolled her eyes and turned to Naruto, who was looking at her with pure delight in his eyes.

“Can I call you TenTen nee-chan?” - the boy asked with a breath.

The girl laughed loudly and ruffled Naruto's hair slightly.

“Of course you can,” - she allowed.

“Did Guy sensei teach you how to fight?”

“Yes,” - Lee replied.

“Will you teach me to fight?” - Naruto asked TenTen.

“I’ll teach you,” - the girl promised. - “It’s not proper for any idiot to pester you. You need to learn to fight back.”

Kakashi watched the entire scene with pure shock on his face. Guy sitting next to him just smiled lightly. As Kakashi expected, the children quickly found a common language. A few minutes later, the slightly out of breath and flushed children fell tiredly onto the blanket. Kakashi handed each of them a glass of cool juice. The children quickly snacked on sandwiches and then ran off to play on the playground again. Hatake looked at Naruto's bright smile as he showed the children his toys and couldn't help but smile himself.

“You know, Naruto feels lonely very often,” - Kakashi said, moving closer to Guy and leaning his back against his broad chest. - “I often disappear at work and spend very little time with him. Almost from childhood, he often visited Obito and Rin. By the way, Obito is Sasuke's cousin, so Sasuke and his older brother Itachi also often visited Obito. Accordingly, Naruto and Sasuke have been friends for a very long time. Nowadays, Naruto also often stays with Obito and Rin if I have business, but just a few months ago they had a daughter. I think this could not but affect Naruto. He loves Yuki very much, he just dotes on her, but I know that he feels deprived, superfluous in their house. Kakashi looked at the beaming Naruto surrounded by Guy's children.

“I gave him a lot, but I still couldn’t make him truly happy.”

“Hey, stop it,” - Guy lifted Kakashi's face slightly, forcing him to look at him. - “Naruto is happy, believe me, I know it. And this is only your merit.”

Kakashi closed his eyes and smiled. He felt Guy's breath on his skin and reached out to him in anticipation, when suddenly the loud stomping of feet made him widen his eyes and pull away.

“We want to eat,” - Naruto drawled.

Guy handed everyone a bento containing food.

“Are we going to meet Genma Ji-chan next weekend?” - TenTen suddenly asked.

Kakashi choked on his rice. He never expected to hear someone call Genma “uncle”. TenTen gave him an unreadable look.

“He promised to be free at work,” - Guy replied.

The girl didn't look entirely pleased with this answer, but nodded. Lee and Naruto began to discuss something loudly, drawing Neji into their conversation. Guy collected the empty bentos and handed each child a drink.

“Thank you, tou-san,” - Neji took the bottle of juice.

“We’ll play a little more,” - Lee stood up from the blanket and extended his hand to Naruto.

The children quickly ran to the playground. Kakashi snuggled closer to the man again. Guy ran his hair through his fingers relaxingly.

“When will we meet next time?” - Hatake asked.

“When do you want it?” - he heard a counter question from Guy.

“Tomorrow, every day for the rest of our lives,” - Kakashi wanted to answer.

“I will compare the schedule with Shiranui.”

“Fine.”

Kakashi found Guy's hand and intertwined their fingers.

“I can take Naruto to my house tomorrow, if you don’t mind,” - Guy suddenly suggested.

Kakashi froze.

“I don’t mind,” - he answered slowly. - “Are you don’t mind?”

“I suggested it myself,” - Guy laughed and quickly kissed the man on the temple. - “What do you want for dinner?”

“I’m not picky,” - Hatake said in a hoarse voice. - “I’ll eat everything you give me.”

Guy laughed again. Kakashi felt irrationally proud of how easily he could make the man laugh.

“Then I’ll make ramen.”

“You know exactly how to win Naruto’s heart,” - Kakashi noted.

“I’m trying,” - Guy lifted Kakashi’s face by the chin and approached him. - “What about yours?”

“M-m?” - Kakashi blinked in confusion, unable to take his eyes off the man’s lips.

“What about your heart?” - Guy whispered. - “Am I on the right track?”

“Hell, yes,” - Kakashi breathed and covered his lips with his, whispering into the kiss. - “You stole my heart the day we first met.”

Guy raised his eyebrows in surprise.

“Don’t you dare give it back,” - Kakashi threatened and pulled him into a kiss again, feeling Guy’s smile.

Thoughts on the latest episode of BUCCHIGIRI?! aka the biggest game-changer of all time

*WARNING: SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 6*

- Starts off with Arajin running away from NG Boys. But then of course, Senya in his chibi form is excited about the prospect of the all-out gang war.

- OUTA IS ALIVE! OUTA IS ALIVE! But he just has an injured leg and sadly can’t participate but still… OUTA IS ALIVE!

- We got some backstory on Outa and Marito. Apparently, they are renowned in middle school for beating all the gangs in Honki City. Also I kinda had to do a double take and saw that this what Outa and Marito looks like in their first year? Wow do they look tall for 16-17 year old.

- Outa taking down a dude for trying to threaten him is goddamn hilarious because everyone already knew them yet some guy tried to challenge him only to prove futile.

- Marito looks completely different in the past in that he was pretty bored with the fights he previously had until one day both he and Outa witnessed the battle between the previous leader of Ikki Union and Kenichiro.

- This of courses sparked Marito’s interest in that he wants to battle Kenichiro but the latter was disinterested and it resulted in Marito being beaten by

- Later after the leader of Ikki Union graduated, the members pleaded for Marito and Outa to take over. But Marito is disinterested so Outa have to temporarily take over until Marito gains the will to fight.

- Outa then planned to have Marito fight by…taking on Kenichiro himself.

- Much later, it alerted everyone and even Marito’s. We later see Outa being beaten up by Kenichiro soundly and this of course sparks Marito’s interest in taking down Kenichiro therefore stepping up to be the leader of Ikki Union (all according to Outa’s keikkau lol)

- Back to the present, where we now have Kenichiro and Marito facing off against each other. All the while Mahoro begs for her beloved brother to stop.

- Arajin sneaked up on Mahoro and tried to escort her to safety because of the ongoing fight but Mahoro wouldn’t let him have it and was pretty annoyed with him to thee point she shouted to get them to stop.

- Arajin trying his damndest to get them to stop but it proved futile lol.

- Then of course, during the ensuing fight, the floor cracked and it knocked both of them out.

- Mahoro rushed over to her brother to check up on him. (along with some of the members of Minato Kai doing the same for Kenichiro) While Arajin tried to comfort her and proposed to call an ambulance, she gave off the coldest glare telling him that she’s through with him.

- This breaks Arajin that he just tried to exit out because of heartbreak. (Hard to feel sorry for him in this scene but then again….)

- NG Boys entered into the scene with Akutaro entering into the gang war. It was then everyone realized that they’ve been played like a fiddle by NG Boys and proceed to battle with each other. This then proceeds to have Minato Kai and Siguma Squad to team up (for once) to take down NG Boys together.

- Komao yelling at how he wants to avenge Zabu all the while the latter screamed ‘I’M STILL ALIVE!!!’ is another funny moment.

- Just as is Arajin exiting, he got called out by Senya for being a coward and leaving his friends but of course Arajin retorted that none of the gang members are his friends. This of course enraged Senya because he realized that Arajin’s doing it all just for a girl who is not interested in him.

- Then of course, Akutaro appeared and asked Arajin if he has Senya with him. Arajin got spooked out by how much Akutaro knows about him, oblivious to how Akutaro has Ichiya with him.

- The leader of the NG Boys proceeded to beat Arajin up to a pulp. Matakara witnessed what is happening and screamed for Arajin’s name before he got tackled by the other NG Boys and got distracted by the fight between them.

- Arajin lets himself get beaten up by Akutaro over and over with Senya begging Arajin to stand up and fight back. But to no avail, Arajin couldn’t which Akutaro proceeds to finish Arajin off by using his boots (with spikes installed no less).

- Much later, Akutaro then decided to fight off each and every one of the known members of Minato Kai and Siguma Squad. Like man, he beats Jabashiri, Hagure, Komao and Zabu like it was nothing. Damn…

- Matakara using whatever remaining of his strength goes up against Akutaro again but the latter uses his whip and using Ichiya’s assistance proceed to beat Matakara again (poor baby boi 🥺)

- The way how Akutaro sadistically using Kenichiro and Marito as playthings all up to the point they can’t fight back legit scared me like damn is he fucked up.

- Senya begged for Arajin to get up but the when Arajin saw what is happening esp to Matakara, he got flashbacks to what happened five years ago.

- Just as Akutaro was approaching the leaders, Mahoro stopped him in his tracks. Like Mahoro, the cute girly girl who has no fighting abilities, stopped the leader of NG Boys.

- Arajin, noticing what is happening, begged Mahoro to run but the latter refused to.

- Ok this one deserves a whole section of its own but this legit one of the badass moments in BUCCHIGIRI?! as a whole. Akutaro used his whip to attack Mahoro and how did Mahoro reacted? She barely felt a sting from it and all it resulted was one of her hair buns coming off. But she’s still standing.

- Ok I mean sure it was purely motivated out of her love for her brother but damn, you have to give this girl some credit where it’s due. She literally took Akutaro’s attack like it was nothing!

- Just as Akutaro decided to attack her, Arajin quickly rushed to the scene and defended her all the while the mark behind his backside started glowing, meaning his merge rate with Senya is increasing.

- It’s kind of cute how everyone from Minato Kai and Siguma Squad are cheering for Arajin to beat Akutaro for good and this of course has the former using the punch he did on the latter previously but this time it’s much more powerful and have more impact to the point that Akutaro’s face is bruised and knocked out for good.

- And of course, everyone cheered with the sun rising to reflect everyone’s mood. Outa is just standing there and smiling at the outcome of the gang war. Mahoro along with the rest of the Siguma members helping Marito up and Minato Kai doing the same.

- It’s kind of nice to see Arajin just smiling at Mahoro, despite being harshly rejected by her, meaning that maybe we are seeing signs of him changing.

- Oh my goodness! Matakara my sweet puppy came over to Arajin to congratulate him on his win. Like boi might’ve been beaten up, but he is an absolute angel.

- Of course, Arajin acted standoffish to him as always, but we do see an act of small kindness, when he noticed that his leg got injured badly, and offered to carry him back home.

- Much later, he got back home and Mrs Tomoshibi, noticing that her son is all bruised and tattered, gushed if he got into the fight which Arajin gets pretty annoyed at.

- In the last scene when washing off the dirts and wounds, Arajin asked Senya how did Akutaro know he was there with the red genie brushing it off as a coincidence.

- The mark on Arajin’s backside started to become more notciable and Senya feeling that Ichiya is much closer than expected.

- The epilogue where it flashed back to how Marito and Outa became leaders is pretty sweet on its own. Apparently, we now know where the name Siguma comes from. It came from taking the characters of the transliteration of ‘Single-Minded’.

- Honestly, that scene where Marito and Outa are on a ‘date’ of some sorts is pretty cute.

Today on P3R

LOOK AT HIM

LOOK AT HIS BOXING GLOVES, OMG, I DIDN’T REALIZE THEY’D BE LITERAL JACKS.

Also we take exams I guess.

Turns out Ikutsuki is not going to help me study alone, he’s going to wrangle everyone into one big study group. Dunno how effective the studying is when he and Junpei get into a pun-off, but whatever. It’s nice to have everyone together and not fighting.

...This is on my exam? For real? This school, man…

Once exams are over, we make plans to go do something fun. While Yukari leaves to get Fuuka, Junpei and I have a little chat.

I love that you can play Minato as a completely oblivious airhead. But I do not.

On our way outside, Ikutsuki introduces us to our new dorm-mate, Ken, who will be staying with us over the summer. He has potential, so he might be a good candidate for joining SEES!

...Ikutsuki, recruiting teenagers with attitude is one thing, but you’re crossing the line towards “child soldiers”, my guy. I know Wild Cards have awakened at age 7, but they didn’t actually have to do stuff til they were 16 or 17!

He’s gonna be staying in the dorm, so we’re not allowed to mention shadows or fighting or whatever in front of him. Even though Ikutsuki just mentioned “the potential” in front of him. Akihiko also looked really uncomfortable around him, and it’s clear he knows Ken somehow, so… Yeah.

Ikutsuki sends me off to the antique shop that’s now open, because the antique shop can help me. The same way the police officer helps, apparently.

This lady runs the weapon fusion menu, and also where I can exchange all my gemstones I’ve been getting. She knows Officer Kurosawa, and ALSO explicitly knows about shadows?? What has Ikutsuki told you, ma’am? Were you involved ten years ago? Do you know about Tarta--

Oh I want that megidolaon skill card so bad. God. Don’t show me that when I know I won’t be able to afford it for ages.

Anyway, we are off to Yakushima, and Mitsuru’s vacation home is enormous. I wish we got to actually run around in it, but what we do see is pretty nice.

(Wait, wasn’t Ken moving in? Did we just leave him at the dorm alone??)

Junpei wants to go to the beach right away, so we put our stuff in our rooms and book it down there. It’s gorgeous.

Why is Mitsuru so pretty I’m gonna die

Yakushima really is beautiful and I’m kinda sad I couldn’t cut off the UI for a minute.

Elizabeth asked me to bring her back something from the beach. I found a pretty shell, some driftwood, a piece of weird seaweed, and…

...she will LOVE this crab. I have to.

Mitsuru talks to her dad, and I have made an exciting discovery: A living, onscreen parent who does not suck!

He wants her to open up to others more and work together, because…

That’s a pretty good motto, actually. It would help if people playing this game knew what the Nanjo Group was. And despite being in green, meaning it has a definition in the glossary, the glossary just explains the motto again. X’D

The Nanjo Group is where the Kirijo Group got all it’s psience tech from, because they bought out SEBEC after Kandori tried to become god back in 1996. SEBEC had the original prototypes for anti-shadow suppression weapons, and PROBABLY also the teleporter technology from the DEVA System. I think I mentioned before that I think that’s what the teleporters in Tartarus are based on.

Plus, the Nanjo family is all about being Number One, so “two in harmony” is a pretty good shot at them. And that’s definitely lost if you don’t know anything about them. X’’’D

Mr. Kirijo gathers everyone together, because he’s going to tell us the truth. And the truth is, his father was trying to create a time manipulation machine. So it makes sense that their research fucked up time so badly that there’s an extra hour of the day now. But apparently, that attempt to create time manipulation warped into something worse over the course of the project, and Yukari’s dad caused the explosion to stop him.

Yukari is completely freaked out by this realization, because she’d always maintained that the accident wasn’t her dad’s fault. So hearing that he caused it on purpose sends her reeling, and she runs off. Minato follows her to the beach to talk, and it’s a good conversation, actually.

Thank you, P3R, for actually letting me hug people when they’re upset. Looking at you, P5, as Futaba and Sumi just cry in front of me and I can’t do anything.

The next day, the girls are on an awkward nature hike (because Mitsuru and Yukari aren’t speaking), when they get a call from Ikutsuki.

The boys, meanwhile, are once again at the beach for Operation Ba--

Oh. Are we not calling it Operation Babe Watch? Okay.

It’s playing the Tartarus music. I’m trying to lead my team into the ocean and it’s not working.

We manage nothing but failure all the way across the beach. We’ve got girls who aren’t interested, girls who are pissy that high-schoolers are at the island resort (who then get even more pissy when they find out we’re at a friend’s summer home, because THEY had to save up to come here), girls who humor us for like ten minutes before revealing they have boyfriends…

And then one last lady, who has been observing, and reads us all to absolute filth about how our tactics are all wrong.

She might be interested, though. And she wants us to help put on sunscreen!

Time for a tactical retreat. Thank god the last girl on the beach is so pretty.

She doesn’t want to talk to anyone, though. Except Minato. And runs off when the others approach. They seem to think she ran away because I said something to her, and want me to follow her and apologize. Which, guys, I don’t think chasing girls you don’t know into the woods is the right answer here, but okay. Here we go.

There’s a waterfall up here and I can’t go near it. :(

Speaking of home, back at home, Shinji is trading information with those three weirdo assassins in exchange for some kind of pills, which can’t be a good sign because he looks like he’s in actual pain. Weirdo Squad is angry that we want to destroy the Dark Hour because they like having special powers.

They also call Tartarus the “Tower of Demise”, though, so like obviously they realize this is a bad thing.

After we get back from Yakushima, Aigis tries to stay in my room, including waking me up five minutes before my alarm. Which. No. You cannot stay in here. Oh god. My new robot has separation anxiety.

My social links may not be deals for things that can help in battle, but they do make me feel warm and fuzzy.

I go out with Akihiko again because he still owes me food for last time, and we get accosted by the punks from before, who have returned with an even bigger group, because apparently the best way to win is by fighting a guy eight-on-one. Are you proud of yourself, dude? Does that make you feel cool?

We didn’t actually fight because we distracted them long enough to get out of there, so no police this time. But I did learn that Akihiko does have parents! He has foster parents that love him and send him enough expensive snacks to share with the whole dorm. It’s nice. ^_^

My online friend in my MMO is definitely a teacher at my school, based on her complaining about "Mr. E". Which, you and me both lady. Dude thinks he's a wizard or something.

Speaking of Mr. Edogawa, he mentioned Carl Jung in class! While talking about alchemists, because school is still insane. Literally we’re going on summer break tomorrow, give it a rest.

Which I guess is why Ken hadn’t moved in yet, but… Did we miss like a week of school while we were in Yakushima? Hot damn.

Ken is officially moved in now, though, and despite not being able to discuss shadows or the Dark Hour around him, he apparently knows Aigis is a robot. So… Uh… How secretive are we supposed to be being?

And it FINALLY let me go back to Tartarus and check out the new area, which is very industrial. It’s cool. Very different vibe from the big faces. I actually like it.

New portal doors that lead to Grand Clocks now have a chance to show up, so I can boost teammates’ levels to match Minato’s? Which is interesting. And more importantly, new “Monad” doors are appearing that lead to stronger fights.

Calling it Monad makes me a little weirded out, but hey, it's not a mandala and there’s good treasure in here. So we’re probably going in headfirst every time they show up. XDD

Saved back at the Tartarus entrance, so next time is probably just going to be some more fighting. We’ll see. ^_^

School isn't for Minato, he finished high school with decent grades and that was it for him, I don't think he'd join and torture himself no matter how much he loves you. He'll support you in any way he can though!

Haruto would absolutely join you! You two can even choose your schedules to work together so you guys can be in all the same classes! Don't expect to have many friends though aside from him and Aki. Haruto would even match his major with yours! He'd sit next to you in every class and he'd be a really good desk mate, not super distracting. There may be a few times he'll crack a joke at something the teacher said or a topic in class, or wanting to hold your hand under the desk.

Jun would also join you! Unlike Haruto, Jun wouldn't pick her major to be the same as yours, but she would try to match her schedule to yours the best she can! Jun would also try to sit next to you in every class she can, and she often gets a bit stressed over the work and just needs your touch to recharge, she'll rest her head on your shoulder before going right back to work. She's also your own cheerleader, constantly rooting for you and offering you support and motivation!

Hoshi wouldn't. He hates school, it reminds him of his ex. Although he wouldn't go to school, he would support you the best he could! He'd make you amazing meals, make sure you rest and care care of yourself(He'd be rude about it and it may not seem like he's watching out for you but he is) He also wasn't bad at school, he's one of those people who don't need to study to get good grades.

Habiki also wouldn't join but would support you in a lot of the same ways that Hoshi would. School wasn't really for Habiki, it was just so boring and there was other stuff he would've rather done. It's not like he needed to try hard since he was already destined to work at the Kikuchi restaurant. He would just rather not go back, but he would still help you.

Kage's DONE with school. School was so rough for him in so many aspects, bad grades, unnecessary stress, no friends, mean teachers, mean students, and crowds and crowds of people. It was awful, the stuff of his nightmares. The only thing scarier would be losing you and Haruto. He would help you with everything he's capable of though, which honestly wouldn't be enough, but he's cute so we let it slide. He'd make you dinner, his famous cup noodles with no add-ons! and that's about it!

Kei would absolutely go to college with you! He'd also enroll in your major and line his classes up with yours. Of course he has to be your study buddy, he makes sure to sit next to you or at least somewhere close to you. He'll also be kind of touchy with you, like holding your hand or resting his hand on your thigh(With consent of course), he prefers to sit as close to you as possible, like thighs touching close. You two study during your break and after school and then Kei makes you dinner and dessert and runs a hot bath or gets the shower ready for you, just makes sure you relax.

Yani would go with you two, of course! Yani has never been to college before! School wasn't really for her, but she has a feeling things will be different, things will be better, because you're here with her now. She basically clings to your side. Enrolling in your major and taking every class that you're taking, and she sits next to you in every class. She definitely distracts you during class, if it's not talking to you then its staring at you the entire time instead of doing its work.

Aki would join you in college! She wouldn't match her major with yours(Unless you major in what she does), but she'd still try to get in the same classes, and if that doesn't work then Aki at least gets classes at the same time as yours. She has a special time all to herself at lunch and during breaks. You and her are away from everyone else, getting lunch. Sometimes you two also call and talk about your day if you didn't get to at break time or lunch.

All: Aki probably wasn't able to get classes with you, but she shares the same times with you! Anyone who tried to line their schedule up with you(Haruto, Jun, Kei, and Yani) THEY ARE FIGHING FOR THE SEATS NEXT TO YOU! In the end, Yani and Haruto get the spots next to you, Jun sits in front of you while Kei sits behind you. Although if it's one of the few classes that Jun actually gets with you, She'll argue harder! "You guys get to have to have every single class with them! This is the ONE class I have with them, just let me sit there!" It works and Jun would get Haruto's spot(Much to his dismay), Yani would have killed Jun in front of you with no shame if she had to give up her seat. Haruto still holds your hand under the desk and MAKES SURE THE OTHERS SEE(He's smirking and so smug about it, an absolute menace) Yani's pulling out the knife and instantly gets sent to the office(Comes back later covered in blood). Kei always calls dibs on being your partner, and has secret meet-ups with you to study since the other want to get in his way so bad. If Jun's in the class with you(And therefore sitting next to you) Haruto turns around every 15 minutes to shoot Jun the nastiest glare ever before smiling at you sweetly and asking you if you're okay. Whenever Jun gets stressed because of the work, she rests her head on your shoulder and hugs you for like 30 seconds before getting back to work(Like a little recharge) Yani's pulling out the knife again. They're pissed that Aki gets her own special time with you, but actually respect that(By that I mean they occasionally watch you and her if you're nearby, but they leave eventually and don't watch you the entire time.(AKI CATCHES THEM SO MANY TIMES AND JUST TELLS THEM TO SHOO WITH HER EYES, SHES TIRED OF THEM)) After the day is done with you, Minato, Hoshi, Habiki, and Kage(Surprisingly) go to pick you up, abandoning the others. Hoshi will take you to his place(and Habiki's). Kage offers to make you some cup noodles and Hoshi is KICKING them out of his hand. "Wow, so much help, just go home you have nothing to offer them." Cue Kage crying. Minato was pretty good at history class, SO if you have any history classes he'll be great at helping you, and if no then he makes you some tea. Habiki helps keep you focused and helps with anything he remembers. Hoshi is making you amazing food and adding any input where he sees fit, like a jab at organization skills(If you struggle with that like how I do LOL) sometimes his advice is pretty helpful though. And Kage is crying in a corner. Jk he's ALSO looking at your textbooks and computer for information and helping you study with flashcards(My older sister uses a bunch of flashcards to study and I help her by holding the card up and asking her what that word/term means, then any she got wrong we put in another pile and go back to it at the end, that's how Kage would help you!) After your day has TRULY finished and it's time for you to go to sleep, which Minato HIGHLY encourages you to get good sleep, Hoshi will drive you and the others back, making Kage be useful and walk you to your door. However the night doesn't end until Yani makes sure you're asleep and Kei texts them to leave you alone and sleep you sleep in peace.

Kaito: There’s so few people!

Seiya: Well, it is a self-study day after all

Nanao: The girls are all taking the day off as well

Seiya: Takigawa-san isn’t here because of shrine duties. And Tommy-sensei will come in the afternoon.

Ryouhei: Oh...how’s Minato?

Seiya: His fever went down, but we can’t say that he’s back to normal

Nanao: Is today the third day? We’ve been working hard this whole summer.

Kaito: Isn’t he impatient to draw a bow soon?

Seiya: He tried to come, but we forcibly sent him back to his room. He said he’s going to properly sleep, but...

Kaito: Then, should we begin practicing?

Seiya: No, we have a big job to do today before Tommy-sensei can come.

Seiya: But, you didn’t buy it?

Nanao: There are no shortcuts in learning. And in the same way, there’s no kindou in kyudo~*

Seiya: Now I found a DVD behind the shelves. Whose is this?

Ryouhei: ?

Ryouhei: “Beginner’s Guide to Yoga”?

Kaito: Whose DVD is this? Who is the one who secretly doing yoga?

Nanao: Now that I think about it, I saw Kacchan secretly putting a DVD in his bag once

Kaito: Well, you see... I was looking up things about dantian breathing and found out that it’s similar to how you breathe in yoga, so I thought I’d watch it for some reference. What’s wrong with that?

Ryouhei: That’s so cool!

Seiya: So, was it helpful?

Kaito: They say that natural and correct breathing can create a regular, balanced mental state. Masa-san said the same thing before

Seiya: So, is this shamen uchiokoshi book yours too?

Kaito: No, that’s not mine

Nanao: I guess it’s mine?

Ryouhei: No way, Nanao, you also became obsessed with shamen?

Nanao: No, rather than admiring it, it’s more that I want to deepen my knowledge of kyudo.

"You're kidding. It's been how long since that fight?"

"I know, I can't believe it myself."

"Actually, that reminds me... while you were taking your sweet time getting ready in there, one of the royal carriers dropped this letter off. Looks to be from those guys."

"Well, don't keep me in suspense now! What does it say?"

"Hold your horses alright? I was waiting for you to put on your makeup and all before I actually opened it so we could read together. Aren't I so considerate?"

There was a pause. The kind of pause that spawned from sudden embarrassment.

"L-look! Between you and me, making sure this yukata was put on correctly is tough... e-especially for someone that's not even from this region! The shame would be too much if I wore this wrong in public, you see. And we can't have that." the young man holding a bin of tomatoes and cucumbers spoke matter-of-factly while his companion, the one who invited him in the first place, rolled his eyes.

"Yeah okay, your highness." the less formal of the two answered teasingly before breaking the seal on the envelope and holding out its contents, a single piece of paper, in front of them both.

"Hey guys, it's been a long time hasn't it? A lot's happened that's kept us busy. Our job's never quite done, but it might not be just the two of us handling the bulk of things.

"We've actually been training the new guy—the one who bailed you out when we couldn't, to follow our footsteps. And he's showing a lotta promise. While I could have asked Ragna, and maybe even Hazama to tag in, well...

Let's just tagging has been almost exclusively what they've been doing since last you guys saw 'em. Not by choice, either. I think they've also been fighting over the same girl...? It's complicated.

Speaking of girls, Zen's moved in with his girlfriend and while he's always ready and willing to help us... I figure he should enjoy the life he can make with her over at Dentech City. Minato agrees.

Also I think we passed through that other guy's 'Stage' a couple times... it was never for more than a day at a time but true to his word, he's become quite the popular Sage. Well anyway, we should definitely meet up again soon when the world as we all know it isn't at stake. It'll be great to see your kingdoms at peace. Take care of each other, your bond's as unbreakable as me and my partner's after all. - Yu Narukami.

"Bonds, huh? I suppose he's onto something, Prince Takumi."

"Don't get all mushy on me Leo! Save that for Kamui when the fireworks go off later. I don't wanna hear later how you messed it up thinking of me."

"Best not flatter yourself too much now..." he'd wag a finger before standing up and beckoning him to follow. "Shall we go find her at the meeting place now? I want to see as much as we can together at this festival."

"Sounds like a plan." Takumi would gingerly fold the letter back into his envelope and tuck it within the inner pocket of his yukata, before the two took off to enjoy themselves on this summer evening.

i want to POST.....!! reborn au; ninjacon 2 (2!!)

Minato walked out of the restaurant first. The first thing he noticed was that all six civilians out on the street were passed out on the ground. So. That was probably bad.

“Shinobi-san,” a deep voice said, and then a man Minato recognized as a missing-nin from Kumo stepped out of the shadows. “You disgust me.”

Minato did not think he’d done anything to personally piss off Kumo no Isamu. But Kumo had been Iwa’s ally through the entire Third Shinobi War, and Minato had therefore killed countless Kumo-nin. They tended to just be mad at him. Then again, Isamu was an A-rank missing-nin with his own group of missing-nin lackeys who committed petty crimes across the smaller nations. Maybe he was just mad Konoha had increased the number of international escort missions to protect Fire Country’s commercial interests against scum like him.

Minato picked out three other presences crawling around in the darkness, waiting to pounce. No big deal, really.

Behind his back, he made a hand sign for Tori to stand down. Konoha didn’t actually have a lot of intel on this guy or the criminal group he’d put together; Minato wanted to see if he could get him talking before he killed him.

Instead, Isamu threw him for a loop by continuing, “You dare impersonate the Yellow Flash?”

“W-what?” Minato asked, dumbfounded. Behind him Tori let out a noise that sounded like a hiccup but that he was sure was an aborted laugh.

“It’s pathetic,” Isamu spat out. He was only average in height, but he was broad with a mane of platinum blonde hair that made him seem huge. He took a few threatening steps towards Minato. “This entire freak show in town is pathetic. But you– you’re an actual ninja. You should know better.”

Isamu was close enough now that Minato could smell his breath. It was rank; he could stand to redo a few lessons on maintaining personal hygiene in the field.

“Do you understand the weight of the name Yellow Flash?” Isamu asked, eyes wide. “Do you understand how many people he’s slaughtered?”

Tori shifted behind him, making several hacking noises most people would interpret as coughs.

“But it’s a really cool costume,” Minato replied cheekily, and Tori wheezed.

Then he signed again for her to continue standing down, and let himself get kidnapped.

“Why,” Tori demanded as she was also kidnapped. It probably sounded to their captors that she was mad at them and not him.

Minato was just curious, that was all. If he just killed Isamu now, it was possible his organization could continue without him, and then Konoha would have lost a valuable opportunity for intel on them. It would be better if Minato figured out the structure of their organization and then killed them. If he had a little fun on his first field mission in years, that was just a bonus.

Plus, the ongoing monologue Isamu was giving him as they moved locations was… kind of funny. How dare Minato impersonate one of the most influential shinobi of this generation, etcetera.

They moved them to a partially constructed hotel. There were many of them dotting the outskirts of town; either the money for the project had dried up, or construction was paused temporarily. The building itself was up, but the walls had exposed pipes and there wasn’t yet working electricity.

In addition to the three missing-nin Isamu had with him, there were two more at the hotel.

“Look at this pathetic excuse for a ninja!” Isamu yelled, throwing Minato at the unfinished floor. “A disgusting pretender, grasping for power. As if a Kage would sink so low!”

Isamu made all of his missing-nin lackeys go around and explain to Minato how the Yellow Flash was too scary and powerful to be impersonated. Tori, who had been dropped much less violently than Minato, stuck her head between her knees and made horrible shuttering noises as she fought her own laughter.

“And who is this little bitch you picked up?” Isamu said, moving to tower over Tori. “Using your stolen identity to pick up stupid civilian girls?”

Tori sat up, a look of horror on her face.

“He’s my dad,” she said at the same time Minato said, “She’s my niece.”

Oh, awkward, Minato thought. That was a rookie-level misspeak.

Isamu seemed too into his own narrative to pick up on the mistake, though; he had two of his lackeys hold Minato while another pulled Minato’s weapons from his body. Isamu held up a handful of Minato’s kunai.

“You might think this is dedication,” Isamu sneered, “but to me, this is a joke. Like you could even mimic his techniques.”

He threw the kunai across the floor, and Minato had to mash his lips together to prevent his own laughter.

Another lackey patted Tori down and confiscated her purse.

“Hey!” Tori protested. “That’s new– it’s designer– take my wallet if you want, but the purse–”

They tied them back to back and left them in a tiny backroom. Minato sat there a few minutes, concentrating on where the missing-nin had gone. Two of them had evidently picked up a kunai, and so in addition to his regular senses, he could track them exactly by where the Hiraishin markers went.

When he judged it safe to talk, he said, “Sorry about your purse. I’m sure we can get it back.”

“Ugh,” Tori replied. She slumped her weight against him, so at least she wasn’t nervous or anything. After a beat, she said, “So why’s he obsessed with the Yellow Flash? Did you piss him off during the war or what?”

“I don’t think we’ve ever met,” Minato said carefully. He was… not sure he’d remember if he had met someone like Isamu. At some point, he’d stopped caring about anyone besides the likes of the Raikage or a jinchuriki. “That’s probably why he’s… confused. Surely you understand sometimes people just become fixated on famous shinobi.”

That was the point of this whole convention, wasn’t it? Sometimes you didn’t even have to be famous to be the object of someone’s obsession. Tori knew this, given… whatever Sasori kept stalking her for.

“God,” Tori said. “How do you not have the world’s most insane ego?”

Minato laughed.

“Mostly it’s just annoying,” he said. His social life, for example, was a disaster. “This man is a bit intense, though.”

“I can’t tell if he wants to kill you or be you,” Tori said.

Or do me, Minato thought. That happened more than he was comfortable admitting.

“What exactly are we trying to do?” Tori asked. “Because if you’re just fucking around, I support you, but I still want to go to that midnight showing.”

Tori clearly wasn’t treating this as “your Hokage has just been kidnapped.” Or, well, Minato hoped she wouldn’t talk to him like this if this were an actual dire situation. Given the circumstances, however, he preferred her casual approach. He hadn’t run a fun little mission like this in ages, and he was feeling nostalgic.

Minato did his very best to explain to her without using his Hokage voice that he wanted to gather some intel before he got rid of them. He hadn’t meant to involve her, but he also hadn’t really had a choice without revealing himself to be much more of a threat than he was.

“I can definitely get you to the midnight showing,” Minato promised. “You shouldn’t even have to do anything here.”

“No, I’m…” Tori shifted, and he felt her shoulders moving against his. “I think I might be physically incapable of not doing anything under circumstances like these.”

That would follow along with about 30% of the complaints in her file and just about everything Kushina had ever said about her, yes.

“This will be fun,” Minato decided. He’d obviously never really worked with Tori before, but Kushina liked working with her, so she had to be fine. Even without his weapons, he didn’t consider Isamu and his crew a threat. Instead, trying to trick them into revealing intel would be a fun sort of puzzle.

“Let’s see… if you need to be in the ballroom by midnight…” Minato debated. “We can pull the plug at…” He pondered all the steps necessary outloud to her: he'd have to kill everyone, teleport them back to their hotel room, and then she had to physically walk there, which would be the most time-consuming step at a civilian-friendly pace. “11:50, to be on the safe side?”

“Wow, did Kakashi get his time management from you?” Tori asked. “I want to get there early, and have time to change.”

Minato peered down at the floor, which was covered in sawdust. Tori was dressed in extremely civilian clothing right now. Nice clothing, even. That was fair.

Maybe he should tell her to escape? He doubted she could take Isamu on her own-- he was ranked as an A-level by Konoha largely for combat prowess-- but she could almost definitely stage an escape on her own. Tori wasn’t in anyone’s bingo books yet, but that was for the exact reasons that she would rank highly once anyone managed to figure out her game. This group seemed to genuinely believe she was a civilian, after all.

On the other hand, he’d sort of just promised her she wouldn’t have to do anything, and he felt a little bit guilty that he’d dragged her into a mission on her weekend off. And even if he had full confidence in her, there could be other variables in play-- like more missing-nin running around they hadn’t seen yet-- that would make letting her go off on her own more dangerous for her than he’d anticipated.

“Do you really not have any weapons on you?” Minato asked. He definitely wasn’t letting her go off on her own without at least that.

“Obviously not,” Tori replied, irritation entering her voice. “I’m on vacation.”

“Technically speaking,” Minato started, because it was indeed against regulation for active duty shinobi to go out unarmed, but he was cut off by one of the shinobi walking by outside.

Well, he supposed it didn’t matter. It wasn’t like he was going to write her a citation after he’d dragged her into this.

Assorted headcanons for the MAMIYA DDD Family ending [spoilers abound!!]

Here's a compilation/archive of messages I posted in the MAMIYA fan Discord about a continuation of the Family ending in Keito's route. In my version, Ryou also gets taken into the family along with Osamu, Satoru, and Keito. I call them KORS for short.

This is absolutely not serious or angsty in anyway, because I was writing this as aftercare for Minato's route lmao. I've sorted through my many messages and did some reorganizing, so they're grouped by topic. (Bolded names: indicates a comment from a server member)

Keito's New Family!!

For the first two months of living together keito is terrified, but ryou being 7 gets over the whole thing in like one month. Like this is just his new normal

Keito starts getting over it (stockholm syndrome starts setting in) once he sees satoru teaching ryou how to make takoyaki

You know i think crab takoyaki could work. I dont like crab but crab meat isnt that far off from octopus

Even after Keito gets over the whole kidnapping thing, he still takes a while to acclimate to his new "family". Like satoru osamu and ryou get used to the family situation pretty quickly (because they are not close to their birth families) but keito is very close to his family so he has to grapple with the cognitive dissonance for a good while

By six months time, he's used to their living circumstances and has affection for the three of them, but in his mind theyre housemates, not family. Like when someone asks about keito's family, his mind still immediately goes to his parents

It probably takes a year or so for keito to finally think of them as his family

(Staring at the words i have written) this is not found family, this is forced family

The Mamiyas

Idk how the family thing is going to go. Like theyre changing their legal last name to mamiya???

Scanning over japanese name change procedures and thinking maybe not<3 i think japanese bureaucracy might be worse than american

Maybe its possible that satoru adopts ryou and osamu into his family registry so everyone thinks theyre a gay couple with a child, but then theyd still be samejimas

(It would be better of them to be samejimas instead of arisugawas because satoru owns all the houses. Obviously)

And then keito would be. Well they can't adopt him too because keito's dad is literally satoru's boss

Samejima could fake keito's death and keep him away from his family? BUT I FEEL LIKE THEYD BE FOUND OUT PRETTY QUICKLY IF KEITO WAS LIVING WITH SATORU

Well maybe its a non-legally binding family where satoru and osamu are back to living together again, satoru has pulled strings to get ryou adopted by osamu, and then he twists keitos arm into moving in with them as roommates

(Or keito moves in of his own volition, with his main motivation being that hes SUPER CONCERNED ABOUT LEAVING RYOU IN THERE)

Would osamu and satoru still be fighting at this point. I think the years apart would have calmed them down a little

Instead of punching satoru, osamu just slaps his a-- you know what never mind. Actually i think they would just verbally argue but without much bite. Because theyre family now

Vaguely remembering that bit in arisus route where osamu was like "we were partners in crime and i was even thinking about asking her to marry me" well osamu you have a new mamiya who you have committed several crimes with so what will you do now.

[Editing note: I want it noted that my brain short-circuited when Satoru was like "I feel like a newly wed bride". why did he say that]

General KORS Family Fluff

Osamu is the one who picks ryou up from school most of the time because he works from home but the first time keito does it ryou is just so happy. Ryou thinks keito is the coolest

Satoru is the one who teaches ryou how to cook so when hes older ryou ends up with really weird culinary skills. He does not know how to fry an egg sunny side up but he can whip up hollandaise sauce like its nothing

Satoru starts ryou in some kind of martial arts class and osamu hates it because ryou keeps trying to show osamu his skills (ie punching him in the leg)

Keito is still playing in a college lacrosse club and the whole family comes to watch his games. When ryou cant see over the crowd (i dont know what lacrosse games look like sowwy) satoru puts him on his shoulders

Osamu and keito take turns reading ryou his bedtime stories. Sometimes when they both have time they both read to him. Osamu is really good at the evil monster voices and robot voices, and keito is better than him at doing female voices

Despite being shorter than keito, satoru cannot fit into his jackets and coats because his shoulders are just to broad. He can fit into some of osamus longer coats because osamu likes buying clothes a size or two too big. Few of their clothes are viable hand me downs for ryou because he grows up short

Wait. But maybe ryou would grow up to be taller in this scenario because keito makes sure he drinks his milk. So maybe he would fit in their clothes

Satoru's Parental Tendencies (& other adults in Ryou's life)

(Growing realization) i think after keito and ryou move out for work/college, satoru would have the worst empty nest syndrome imaginable

(Assuming osamu satoru or keito doesn't set their house on fire with everyone inside in five years time)

Satoru ends up like a clingy overbearing mother who gets really upset when keito wants to move out for his Vaguely Defined Future Career and only calms down once osamu is like "uhhh dude chill" and keito promises to facetime every day

(I just think this is really funny because keito has his own family who is alive and who he is on good terms with but his actual mom puts up way less of a fuss than satoru)

After that satoru starts redirecting all his attention and affection towards ryou and is just overall insufferable

Ryou: im thinking about going to kyoto for college Satoru: absolutely not you will choose a school in tokyo and you will live in this house

Satoru is the strict parent who is prone to hysterics and osamu is the laissez faire parent who has to console his wife (i am of course delusional). Its like a sitcom

Keito rounds off ryou's Trio of Adult Figures as the unconditionally supportive older brother so i think between the three of them, ryou grows up to be pretty okay??? As okay as you can be when youre a member of the Mamiya family ig

They all frequently go to dinner at the suou's too so ryou is decently close to keitos parents

New Car!!

Anyway. If they all moved in together, satoru would have to buy a new car

Now i think a honda accord would be a good car for a family of four, but it might be a bit cramped if two of them are over 6ft tall, so it might be better if they had an suv

And also satoru loves his foreign cars so he wouldn't buy honda anyway

Okay so the volkswagon touareg could be a good option because it is a luxury suv from germany. However pre 2006 this suv was REALLY big so i dont think it would fit very well in the streets of japan

Cheese: samejima also is really big and doenst fit well in the streets of japan

Suvs werent as big of a thing in 2003, so maybe satoru would go for a sedan anyway... If satoru's going to gravitate towards european luxury brands, then the mercedes benz s class would be perfect for him. Its about the same size as a honda accord

During my playthrough of DDD, the KORS family au helped keep me sane. I think it's a neat idea. i think if it actually happened (and Osamu and Satoru took Ryou in as well) they would've started murdering people within the year, but this isn't about that!! If I wanted insane angst, I would replay DDD Keito/Ryou.

I kind of want to write some sort of fic about this weird family... But after playing EX, my brain has contacted the natsumiya virus and I haven't been able to stop thinking about that. So we'll see lol. I might archive some of my AU twitter threads for that ship onto tumblr, too, because I'm pretty fond of what I wrote.

Wow, this is the first time I've made a post like this on tumblr since I left in 2019! Writing longform is pretty fun.

A ship I have with said character: ohoho...bankita.....best and worst accident of my life-! i spoke it into existence while trying to make a joke and now i'm down bad for them. it's so fucking wild because it can literally never work they are separated by time and space and DEATH but the short little time they do get together is so special and they are so fucking cute in persona q and what little i've seen of them in q2 too (wildcard buffet lives in my head rent free "i feel like i've gotten to know you way better" what are you two FUCKING talking about) i also love playing with them completely outside of canon they are like little dollies to me i will put them in Situations and make them be cute and soft and fluffy for absolutely no justifiable reason it's GREAT i need to write more for them they make me so happy they give me so much comfort they also break my little gay heart.

A brotp I have with said character: well we've already exited the realm of canon so i might as well stay here for a while and say akiren. they are just two silly little guys they have a lot of similarities but they have such wildly different outlooks on life that putting them together and making them talk is so much fun! i think akiren would be a good influence on minato honestly, he's so full of hope and he believes in people so much and i think that would help minato also come to his final stance of wanting to save humanity and give everyone a chance to live their lives a little quicker. half of the reason i came up with the Came Back Wrong au is because i want them to hang out together and i want akiren to have that chance to touch minato's heart. i dunno i just think they're neat and also they're both my favorite protags so!

A notp I have with said character: i was gonna say ryomina because i just can't get into it but you know what actually. no. aikoto. i can't fucking stand it i'm dreading meeting aigis in p3re because i know the game waifu baits her and i don't want to deal with it i hate it so much!!! i don't even feel like i can properly appreciate aigis as a character because i just keep thinking about how much they push her relationship with minato and ugh!!! persona really needs to stop putting in waifu bait characters i hate all of them. aigis and rise and honestly even sumi would be a lot more compelling if they didn't have this cloud of "the protagonist is Super Extra Special to me in a way that's clearly different from the rest of the team" hanging over them. i mean minato fucking dies in aigis's arms like what the fuck. (god bless p3p for letting it be anyone you romance on ng+ that was honestly really sweet and a massive improvement.) i probably wouldn't be so bitter about it if i wasn't aro but man. leave me alone. it's not even too terribly popular in fandom from what i've seen except among people who just like to take canon at face value because it really is essentially the canon pairing. exhausting. down with amatonormativity i'm so fucking tired

A random headcanon: oh my god i have so many (immediately forgets every single one). no but actually i think for now i will talk about how i think he takes a lot of comfort in the small little cafes and restaurants around the bay area. i'll never stop thinking about that time in pq where he sees a table set for tea in the middle of a MYSTERIOUS MAGIC LABYRINTH FULL OF SHADOWS and he's so out of it that he for a moment he believes he's at cafe chagall and drinks the tea without a second thought. like the fact that in this highly confusing and stressful situation he thinks of being at chagall i dunno it just reads to me as that being a safe space and a place of comfort for him. i love that he can work there now in p3re i love that he and akiren can bond over being baristas at a cafe

General opinion over said character: oh my god ohhhhh my fucking god he's the guy ever he's so so important to me he has been since i first discovered he existed even though i couldn't play p3 at the time he touched me in a way no other character has ever managed. he makes me feel so feral i'm rattling the bars of my cage i'm foaming at the mouth chomping at the bit etc etc i'm crazy i'm insane over him. he's my third favorite character of all time only behind the twins and honestly if enstars weren't my forever fandom and i didn't feel guilty about it i might say it's a three way tie for my number one. he's just like me fr (derogatory) he's my big brother he's my son he's everything to me!!!

Sympathy Kiss Review

Spoilers Included...

So all in all this is one of my favorite otome games now right up there with Code Realize, Amnesia, and Piofiore. I love the age ranges are all the way from 19 to 45 thats a big difference but each character brings a different feel to it. Also the music and art work is great too. There is a guy for everyone in this game and its funny but I never played them in order yet nothing was spoiled so honestly I will say its a soft follow route nothing more. I played Nori, Saotome, Kobase, Usui, Yoffy, Rokuro, Higa, Minato. All the guys are so mixed like there is no straight tsundere or kuudere or just dominant men each of these guys have a little bit of it all in them. Also the fact its the first otome game that has had kids in it and single fathers I was floored. We need more of those men too. Know there isn't anything explicit but you will see them in the bed with the idea you know sex was involved some talk but nothing over the top definitely more mature than alot out there. Below is my guys I love in order from the one I love to the worst.

Rokuro Yoshioka

This man from the beginning did peak my interest because he looked like the prince charming type and I'm not normally into blonde haired guys but figured what the hell. He was one of my last 3 to play but oh my god the best one of them all for me. So anyone who knows me knows I don't always like the good guy but the guy who will find a person worth fighting for and he will love her so much he would burn the world for her at any cost whether good or bad. Well this guy is that guy, you would never guess it when you first meet him and honestly as the first part of the story you would still question what I'm saying is true. He is a gentleman from the start opens doors for a woman, kisses hands, and honors a woman's space to not push himself on them. Like one point in the very beginning he offers you a ride home and he has to help you with the seat belt he doesn't jsut do what most men would do and reach across you but he asks you if its ok if he touches you to fix it then when he does he is very delicate and not trying to reach or touch places to make you uncomfortable.

He shows interest in you and even tells you some reason he is pulled to you and wants to get to know you better. He is very upfront and asks you out and its sweet at first until half the time you hear him talk about the love of his life being his childhood sweetheart. He tells you the story how he met her when he was staying with his uncle, he was alone and this little girl comes up and comforts him. They play together every day after she calls him her prince and her his princess. She teaches him at the age of 9 that even princes cry too. When the summer ended he had to go back home but made a sweet promise to the little girl that he would find her again one day, however he had searched and searched and never could find her. Granted the only thing I felt was weird here was either he never heard the MC's first name or he never knew her last one or it should have been easy with someone with money to find anyone.

However skipping past that he is so sweet and endearing about it all and says she changed his whole life and he wanted to be a prince because of her. It was funny because in the prologue as the mc you mention how he looks like a prince. Anyways he tells you as he goes along going on dates with you tells you he likes you alot, even on his side he talks about how much he really likes you and is starting to fall. One night your out walking and he is talking bout his first love and a park near by so you walk there together. Soon as you walk in the park you remember a little boy you used to play with and tell him about the memories you have and when you face him his eyes look like they are going to cry. He tells you he is that little boy and you both realize you were both each others first love. It is such a sweet lost love story and you think now they will be happy but oh no it is not that simple at all.

He battles his birth right of being rich and the son of a big business owner who had already arranged a marriage for him. You deal with the drama of that girl trying to destroy you the more he fights against them the worse it comes on you. He asks you to wait and trust him behind the scenes he is trying to get his father and the girls family to understand at any cost. They even go as far as locking him in his house and taking his phone so he can't reach you. Your whole team at your office is supporting your relationship they do everything they can to get ya'll together with all thats going on around you. Saotome us hilarious when he knocks little miss bitch fiancé down and tells her he don't give a shit who she is fiancé too he wasn't talking to anyone but Roku. No matter what he goes out of his way to reach out to you and constantly let you know your the only one for him and he refuses to ever be with anyone else.

Its funny the more you get to know him you realize there is a good chance this man fell for you as a kid and never moved past that. I say that because he says to stop girls from hitting on him and him having to date people when they heard he was in an arranged marriage he let it go so he didn't have to worry even though he didn't want that girl either. He has been waiting his whole life to give you his everything and obviously even his v-card. That being said the constant feel of butterflies even as a person playing this game I could feel them the way he was so dedicated to his lover. Even with time apart he always wanted you he always comes back to you. He was willing to be disowned if need be if it meant he could be with you. He is a gentleman up to a end. He is the guy though that will grab you and confess his love and kiss you with the most passion you will ever know. He is the guy that when he makes love to you that you will feel every emotion at the extreme level he does, and when he kisses you he will take your breath away.

He is a mixture of a modern day romance with a fairy tale one that meets lost love. Honestly I loved every minute of it well when bitch face fiancé wont in it that is. She is that girl you want to beat the shit out of. That being said he constantly tells her he don't want her she is just deaf. The way the endings are seem close because one he goes to America but brings you with him, or he stays and works at a job hours away but still wants to talk and see you as much as possible then after 2 years he comes home to you for good then the last best ending he takes you to that original playground he met you on gets down on one day and asks you to be his princess forever then tells you he loves you and asks you to marry him. The one adult scene with him you get is so passionate and sweet that its not all about the act but the intimacy and the love that goes into it. I don't know to not feel so engulfed in this story I hated to see it end.

Yoji Kobase

Ok this man is everything I could have asked for in this game. He is daddy like can be strict and stern yet also sweet and gentle. Then that passionate side is there and he would just as soon tear you clothes off than to do without your touch. His story is sad but also sweet. Watching him fall in love was a treat and falling for him was even better. I had seen him on the other routes I had done and saw right off the bat he wasn't some hard ass tsundere that you had to pick apart to get him to show his emotions he actually was a caring man inside work he was strict so people were more scared of him. I never saw one thing scary though like he was not one of my guys I cared about going into it but after seeing him on other routes I looked forward to doing his route. Then getting the chance to and I swear even down to this mans moans, sighs, and breathes he takes in his kisses will drive you crazy if you have a headset on.

Not only that but this mans steaminess starts early and really never stops he is insatiable he just can't get enough. I swear the way he says I love you akari makes me want to change my name to akari cause fuck the way he says will make you melt. Parts of his story had me in tears closer to the end and other times smiling from ear to ear. His blushes drive me nuts like I swear I thought the other guys blushing was hot but I think its because he is this strong man, dominant then when you compliment him or put him in predicaments he isn't in control and he becomes a blushing mess. I say he is a daddy type but the more caring and gentle daddy dom if anything however I never knew one that got embarrassed before. To me he is like dominant, geeky guy, daddy, sexy all wrapped into one man. His was the fastest route which is weird because I swear it felt like the longest because the story was so engaging I could not stop playing it.

This story felt like the most real yet also more romantic comedy as well. I say this cause I know I have watched movies with office romances, they get stuck in the elevator together, they almost drop a box and need help from behind, they need to move in together because apartment is being fixed, Walking in with her in a towel, I mean the list goes on these are just some of the things that happens in his one route but yet it blends so well together it doesn't feel forced and I love that. I really felt like I was part of his story and that my own choices made a difference. I did it blind at first and answered how I would and it went towards the love route. Now going back through to cover all routes for the CG the love ending is sweet and sexy I mean like really fucking hot. The best ending he plans to propose but because it never got to that and you never saw it I swear there needs to be a fan disc I need to see this man down on one knee.

I love his loyalty to the people he loves as well like he would take a bullet for someone or in this case go under for a hit and run he didn't do. If I had to compare him to another game character that I have played honestly he does have alot of Dante Falzone's qualities as far as dominant, loyal, family is everything, blushes when things are out of his control or is complimented alot, he thinks lower of himself but wants to help others he loves, he is ahead of a company where Dante is head of the mafia both having a big title, they both propose in the main route and both not taking their job lightly. I think he is alot more sexual than Dante however based on times as well Dante is more of a gentleman so guess if I had to say Dante and Gilbert together would make more sense to be his personality in some ways that is.

Oh my god his pin stripe suit let me touch upon that please. So I have a thing about men in trench coats, fedora's and pinstripe outfits and this man wears a suit so well and sexy in it. They show him a few times in other clothing which I mean he looks good in anything but the suit..... damn damn damn this man is smoking hot to me. I didn't even care if he was my 3rd route I needed me some Yoji and now I can go to bed satisfied for the night I finished his route. His CG pictures annoy me a bit because I feel like the person who drew the game wasn't the ones that did his CG pictures. I say that because if you take Nori he is hot in his CG pics but also out where I feel like some of Yoji's pictures didn't give you have the sex appeal you could have gotten. Either way this is my boy sweet, sexy, and down right passionate as hell.

Nori Tainaka

So first off besides him looking hot I wasn't sure how I would like him cause his voice wasn't as deep as I like in most of the voice actors I follow as well as the moment I realized he was like a lost puppy needing a home I almost quit. The only reason is cause Variable Barricade put a nasty flavor in my mouth about the puppy type guy with Nayato who never really grew on me and annoyed me all the time. However here is the different Nayato was like a puppy hyperactive that needed overly amount of attention and would scratch your leg when you walked through the door every day. He was your good/bad dog however Nori is that sweet lab like puppy you bring in that just wants to be snuggled and loved. He wants to protect you and be needed and wanted by you. I felt like if you have played Variable Barricade take Shion and Nayato and put them together because the easiness of this guy and how he treats you after a long day of work reminded me more of Shion. He will make you breakfast, pour your bath, take care of you when your sick, dries you off and snuggles you when you get rained on, even gives you a bubble bath him washing your hair and so on.

To me he is such a cinnamon roll I can't imagine anyone hating this man. Like in the beginning he tries to come off manipulative just to get you to let him stay with you by telling you has amnesia and such, but trust me you and the mc see through that a mile away and still trust to just have him there because he needs it. As time goes on its not just him that needed that comfort but you find you need it too. I love he gets blushy when you give him compliments and I mean you only can make him blush and he is adorable when he does. I will say that you do find out he was not only a lost puppy when you found him but an abused one at that. In time he eventually apologizes for lying to you and lets you into his past. I love that at one point you have a fight with him and he leaves and Kobase takes him in like a big brother until he can get you two to talk. I never saw that coming from Kobase when you first meet him but it was sweet.

So I guess it fits still for me he is another sad boy and thats where I seem to flock first never fails. You can have alot of fun with him though he likes to have game night and he is pretty competitive. Also don't think he is always your good boy puppy because he has a mischievous side to him only you bring out. Oh and damn when he is turned on or wants to turn you on his voice gets deeper which sounds hot as hell then. This character to me wasn't just a puppy not that one thing I loved that he had a dream as a chef and only you make him feel valued enough to do it again. That being said if you go to the love route he wants you to go with him, move with him so he can open a restaurant with you by his side. The work route he still goes to a restaurant to work but you are in a long distance relationship however he refuses to give you up. Then I need to make it clear there is a third way which is supposed to be the best ending which I disliked because he goes out on his own leaving your place to get his own life even though he wants to be with you in the future just not right now how in the world is this the best ending I will gladly take the love ending.

He is the first love interest I have ever came across though that randomly starts talking about wanting kids one day and not just kids in general but he includes you in that dream. You two haven't even talked about what you are to each other or said I love you and he already had his sights on making you his wife one day. Granted this was technically months together by then but he knew what he wanted. He doesn't yell and he is definitely more submissive than confrontational however I think in the bedroom he would be anything a woman wants anything to make his woman happy. He is the first to tell you he loves you however I think you can see where he went from just an obedient dog to where he started actually caring for you and it was beautiful to see. I think that he doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he really is a good love interest in my book. He was my first play through that I did blindly and ended up with him but I'm glad I did also I never saw any reason not to play him first some say spoilers but most his story 99% is just about him.

Mitsuki Saotome

So this guy first look I found him very attractive and looked forward to starting his route. However after doing the prologue I felt he came off more annoying than I hoped. As I dug in deep to his route I still found a lot I was hoping to have in him as a partner that I felt lacked. I found myself drawn to his friend Esaka more than him. His route was predictable like I knew the person talking shit was Esaka before he even knew yet it was almost like common sense then I felt they both lacked the common sense between him and the MC. I kept pushing through though to see if it got better. I will say even though I liked Esaka to the very end and still want to see him as a love interest, eventually Saotome got better for me. After he realized he had feelings for the mc was alot better. Before not only was he annoying but also kind of a jerk.

After he lets her in you get to see the adorable blushy boy that I love in him. He is too cute when he pouts and blushes, I really wish there had been more of them but it was decent. I just didn't like it took getting to the 3rd almost 4th episode before it really started to grab my attention with him. The love route was sweet and he wants to take you with him across the ocean for a job offer. Unlike Nori who was only going towns over Saotome wants you to uproot your life and country to leave with him. I'm not sure I liked the love ending much for that reason and the work ending was just you get a promotion to a different department yet yall still date and such. The best ending of this one was best for sure like it was super sweet. He takes you to meet his parents and talks about how he doesn't want to love anyone but you. He even turns down that job over seas because he feels whats right for him is to be loyal to his company and to you as his partner.

This showed the most mature side to him I think and that is what I was looking for. I played blind but had to use walk through to get this route cause I ended up with love route first. I will say though his passionate time with you his sighs, moans, and breaths are steamy he caught my attention fast. I mean it never fully goes into it but damn the noises is enough to make any woman to stop and listen. Definitely use a headset with his route so you can enjoy that part of his time. I really do like him I just felt like he was not the best in my book but I do still think people will enjoy him in the end. Just expect not being able to connect with him right away. If I had to compare him to someone it would probably be lover pretend Yukito Sena and Kazuma Kamikubo I say both because some of his cuteness and best friend feel is more like Kazuma but Yukito is a free spirit that doesn't care what people think as much so to me I feel like he is a mixture of the two and more towards Kazuma because of the blushy side to him but when he is naughty thats the Yukito type personality coming out.

How he was as a friend in other routes won me over alot more with him. Like in his route he was kind of a jerk in the beginning however in other routes as your friend he will do anything for you he thinks of you like family him and Kobase both are protective of you. This is what knocked him up higher on my list of love interests I like.

Kohei Minato

This one was hard because to me Minato and Higa are tied for me because I love how both interact with children Minato with his siblings and Higa with his son. I will say Minato is sexy as hell and you see it in his route too however there is good and bad things for me with him. First sexy voice, check, naughty boy, check... His story is sad but also more bittersweet. You find he has been ripping off the company he works for as a spy for someone from his past because he has black mailed him into getting money to take care of his mother and brother and sister since his father walked out. Its respectable that he would do anything for the people he loves, it was what I love most about this character.

I feel like his route is just slow to get into it like there is 6 episode chapters yet doesn't really get in depth to the relationship til end of the 3rd one into the 4th. I feel like I just had a hard time really knowing him until farther in and when you do you find he is a flirt not just a kuudere here. Funny thing is I thought he was going to be a tsundere but I feel like definitely more of a kuudere attitude. He shows no emotion but once he does he shows it alot.

He is sweet how in best ending he tells you your his sunshine the light of his life and he loves your always and forever. This is one of the sweetest things and the grab kiss that he and you are in tears in. His route is up and down hot and cold and it gives me whiplash its worth playing just know his sex side and that one happy ending is his best quality.

His sex appeal is over the top he is the only one that tells you he will make you scream until you go hoarse then when he has done that to you he feeds you water by mouth. Like this is a hsdgkjvg moment for sure. Anyways he is seductive he will lick your finger when you prick it with blood, he is dominant and a dirty boy in it all. This is what got him so far up on my list it was a saving thing however I didn't care for some of his words. Like he doesn't talk about spoiling his woman but wants his woman to spoil him. When you try to pat his head or just be cute he takes it from 0-100 in seconds and ready to take it to having sex. Its the pushiness I don't care for at times. I mean if your going to be dominant be that all the time not sweet some moments, wishy washy in others then dominant and possessive in anther way. He also has huge jealousy issues possessive is hot but he doesn't even want you to go anywhere even around guys that he isn't involved in.

Secret Route #2 Tsukihiko Higa

Ok I wasn't sure what to think of this dude because you barely see him in other routes but not even 10 minutes in you find out he is a single father and widower and my heart strings were instantly pulled. Anyways you see how it unfolds of growing close to his son who is 5 years old that you stand up for on the playground. That starts the constant meetups with his son and play dates then Higa starts falling for you cause yall are doing things that families do. Its so sweet that he keeps his wife's picture on a dresser so his son Hinato can talk to his mom any time he wants to. I really was hoping so much for this story because how often do you get a older man and a man who is a single father in otome games I loved the idea and hope to see this again.

However even with this I felt like if it had just been about him and his son and you work together would have been great but then they make him a past idol. He supposedly was this big singer who just stopped and quit one day got married and had a kid and now one of his fans is stalking him and cussing him out for ruining everything with him leaving and she even blurts out in front of his son he should have never been born. It was harsh but Higa is a good daddy he was right there for his son and not one time did I feel like he wasn't a good father. I feel like he got the shit end of the deal as a character though I mean shit ever other man gets lucky in the bedroom most you get with Higa is on the love route. He tells you when he gets home one night with his arms around you while you cook and says you should get married soon before you bring a fourth member into the house and has a mischievous look so you know he wants to make babies then they ruin it Hinato runs in yells the food is burning.

Thats it total cock block and you never get to see more than him kiss her a few times. I feel like only reason he couldn't be higher on my list is because they made his story short, they didn't put alot of effort into the work route, the best end was ok but I felt the love route was best. Dude should have gotten laid though come on he loses his wife, works his ass off for his son, has to deal with a stalker fan from the past, has to look for his son trying to run away due to that bitch and yet he can't get laid shame on them. I might just have to put something together so this man has some happy ending in intimacy I mean he strikes me as a snuggler. Anyways he grows on you fast if you have a sweet spot for single fathers. Just hope if there is a fan video they give him more and better continuance like I want to see making babies with him in the fan disc if there ever is one.

Secret Route #1 - Yofy

So I thought he was cute the first time I saw a picture of him however I had just played Mineo's route in Collar x Malice and the voice actor is the same and normally he is yelling in CxM so wasn't sure if I could deal with it but as Yofy he is not like that at all. He is a shy gaming guy who is a programmer. However once he likes you this boy is yandere through and through. I normally hate yandere and I'm still not gonna say its my cup a tea but to see the shy gamer boy turn into a very dominant man in some sexy art FFS it made it hard to think straight. Romance wise I love the possessiveness but this man drugs you, stalks you and scares you, bites you, forces you to kiss him, and accuses you of lying. Like that would be so hard to forgive I see so many think he is most peoples favorite I just can't.

He is adorable and sweet and he made me smile so much until he started doing the shit he did. Like to me it was plain creepy in some points but you can tell he has some mental issue setbacks from his childhood. Its almost like you date him he feels like there is no room for anyone else in your life. He is that toxic boyfriend you would have. The scene where he grabs you and kisses you and he bites you after you bite him bloody kiss some reason is fucking hot. Then his dominance comes in when you tell him you love him and want to be with him. He is 19 and you can tell it his mindset is not that of an adult or a person in their mid 20s on out. He has alot of growing up to do.

He does try to do better in the best ending he really does try actually all the routes if you love him he will try to be better for you. However I don't know sometimes he reminds me of Toma in amnesia talking about locking you away however Toma was to protect you Yofy id to keep others from wanting you. Possessiveness in a man is hot but I feel like only in his sexual side of him is it hot because when he is just running around being a blushy guy he just comes off as a creepy stalker. Only reason it is over Shuya Usui for me is because least he wants to be with you and there is a instant chemistry and he didn't care about age unlike Usui did even though you still have age on Yofy too. Overall on like a scale of 1-10 I would say Yofy is a 6 for me. Definitely better guys and I'm still irritated he was a route but Esaka isn't.

Shuya Usui

I played several routes before not being able to wait anymore and jumped into playing his route. He seemed so gentle and caring even in one route he brings you in after someone tries to attack you and a few other routes he cares for you so its not hard to see how he would be an amazing partner and lover. That is until you actually play his route. He was much older than the rest at age 45 now me being a older woman never saw a issue and even though they were 20 years apart they were both adults and you can't help who you love however thats not how he saw it. As soon as he realized you were even the bit interested in him he starts comparing you to reminding him of his sister and then later says that he is more like your dad. He continues to treat you like your a child and family pushing your heart and needs away. In his side of things you see he wants you and loves you but refuses to let down the fact he is much older than you and you deserve better.

His story is so angsty no matter how many times you try to get through to him he finds ways to not be interested or act like it or even cold at times. He saves your life in the alley because a drunk guy tries to touch you he becomes your prince charming and its not hard to start falling for him then and you see why your character did and the rest of his route is about him healing from where he got injured in his wrist when it happened. You help him at the bar as well as come to help him even clean his own house. Finally you have a point when you make a move on him in his own apartment and even though deep down he wants you he acts like he doesn't yet lets you kiss on him and all anyways. Then tells you for this one night he will do anything you want and thats it. It was sad because earlier in the night you had ate dinner together and even helped him wash his hair in a steamy bathroom scene. Here he was telling you in a cold detached voice he will do anything you want but never again.

This burned my ass it was even worse the next day after all it happened and you were naked in his bed he tells you to forget it every happened. He spent his time making you feel like you took advantage of him, like you forced yourself on him, and that he only gave in because you wouldn't stop he even admits he did that to you on his thoughts, thats pretty fucked if you ask me. It was bad enough that it took almost the last chapter for you to get love in this I mean you get one date and he never sleeps with her again or they sure don't mention it if so. The episodes were the shortest most took me about 8 hours to finish this one in all endings only 4. The best ending sucks because you break apart he goes one way business in his life and you go another then 4 years later you decide to be with each other and you go to him. Then the work ending is worth cause you break up never to see each other again. The love ending at least he chooses to stay there with you instead of taking over his family's inn and you leave your job to be with him working the bar. It was by far the sweetest.

You get moments where he will blush from time to time yet weirdly enough he doesn't fit the part like I don't know he seems overly mature to be a blusher. His love for cats is cute and he even jokes about petting her as his kitten which could have at least been a interesting way to go. You hear his sad story of losing his sister and his dad on deaths door. I don't know there is just too much angst that when you finally get a happy ending it doesn't feel like one. You feel empty and loss of connection because you have seen all your character has gone through, how many times he pushed her away, was cold to her, and acted like she was a child. I mean even when he sleeps with her he was detached and cold she even says it in the dialogue, for someone who loved her and wanted to be with her like that like he says later its funny after the way he was not even really there in the midst of one of the most intimate things. I just can't with this guy. As far as comparison I don't even know if I have met any character that irritated me this much so I can't say.
