How it will be received. I get so enthusiastic about so much of what I write, but then I'm worried that maybe my enthusiasm was misplaced. So, I'm insecure about my own feelings about it, I suppose. I've managed to alleviate a lot of insecurities by posting my story or chapter before I go to bed, that way I don't have to sit there having anxiety over whether or not I shouldn't have posted it.

💝what is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

That's hard to say. I'm not sure I really think I have expectations of responses in general, other than I know that certain pairings will be read and certain really won't. (As in, I thought James Watson was a more-loved character than he is? I expected more response to him in my stories, because I love him, but he's a factor in my least popular stories.)

But it is my most read story on both my fanfiction accounts. I was not expecting such a response to a story that I wrote as a teenager and I'm honestly annoyed it's as popular as it is, because it is no where near the best example of my writing and I'm not a part of the fandom. So, yeah. I didn't expect that to go anywhere at all in terms of response and now it won't leave me alone.

I was hoping to post a Lawlight fic today in honor of L Death Note's birthday, but it’s been growing longer as I write it, so I'll probably be posting a bit late

In any case, at the very least I'll be leaving you guys with a few snippets! (Click on the images to see them in full)

"Can you please not sit so close?" Light asks, careful to keep from sounding like he's pleading. "You smell," he's careful to whisper, though not too low.

"I don't personally see what the problem is," Ryuzaki says, breathing hot air against Light’s left ear and the side of his neck.

It's likely inadvertent, the fact of which makes Light even more annoyed as he suppresses a shudder.

"It doesn't bother me."

"If it bothers you, Light, we could easily take a trip in the human washing machine. As I've said before, I can vouch for its safety."

Light forces a smile. "Thank you for the offer, but I'd rather not."

hi jo! do you find it harder to manage things from a side blog vs posting fics on main? was just wondering about your opinion on it!

Hihihihi! Honestly since Tumblr updated it so you can now reply to comments from a sideblog it’s SO much better. I used to have the issue that my old main handle was a Z Nation reference so whenever I’d post on here and respond to someone they were like “who even are you? I’m talking to the AUTHOR” and I was like bitch that’s me😂

So that was one of the more frustrating things. Now I’d say the worst thing about this blog being a sideblog is you can’t block people from the Tumblr app if they follow your sideblog. When you click block in the top corner of the app it only blocks them from your main account, which is okay because I think it still limits their access to your sideblogs but I like to keep organised so it’s super annoying the way they do that.

And I have a Naruto writing blog which is a sideblog that I didn’t have to delete or change up when I made my BNHA one. So that one can stay active on tumblr with all my old works without interfering with this one or my main. It really annoys me that all my Z Nation and TWD fics are now lost somewhere in my main, like it’s just messy😭😂

I would say though, having this blog and then my Blue Lock blog can be irritating because I forget about the other one and I find it difficult to juggle them both. So maybe I should’ve just posted all my writing on the same blog… but too late now I guess😂

Long story short, I’m glad I have this sideblog for my writing and I don’t post it on my main! Cause then I can use my main more for personal posts and shitposting you know?

What’s your total A03 word count? 163,947 I need to post more on ao3, huh

What fandoms do you write for? Mostly DC rn, tho I have a few fics for COD

What are your top five fics by kudos? on this account all of those are bakudeku because I've been very deep in the fandom until last year lmao so I'm going to cheat a little :3 and list the ones from DC fandom to self-promote myself a little 😂

1. taking a break (alone, please) at 345! I'm really happy with that and quite surprised because it's the very first proper sladick fic I wrote! Dick gets hurt during a mission so Slade takes him somewhere to take care of the wound and maybe have a little fun while he's at that. The only problem is that Dick's comm gets turned on at some point.

2. unexpectedly beneficial at 289. This is surprise since it's a New Year fic and those, in my experience, never get that much kudso lmao It's also my second fic! Dick's stuck at Brucie's New Year Eve's party. Slade comes over to keep him company

3. bunny-shaped trouble at 230 kudos, the idea came from Claudia who sent me a prompt 💕 Dick gets turned into a bunny and takes the opportunity to annoy the hell out of Slade

4. persistence at 219! This was my entry for sladerobin week and for some reason I was very anxious so I'm glad its so high in the ranks Dick goes on an undercover mission, where he has to seduce the target. Slade isn't very happy about that.

5. conflict resolution at 217 kudos! It's the first part of the series and well, let's be honest, compared to the rest (that is posted here on tumblr now, im working on it to post it properly on ao3) it isn't very exciting but I still love it and I'm happy it's so high as well! King Slade Wilson offers the way to stop the war between Gotham and Defiance. He will stop the attacks if prince Richard becomes his royal consort.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I always do!! Sometimes it just takes me longer (like rn oops) but I always make sure to respond to comments and show people how much I appreciate them taking the moment to share their thoughts with me 💕💕

What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? It's definitely keeping what's mine because Dick is having awful time in this one, to the point that I tagged it as hurt/no comfort because well, Dick is hurt and doesnt get any comfort. I mean, he kind of does? But it doesnt actually comfort him so yeah 😂

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I write a lot of fluff so this is actually a very difficult question lmao but I would say it's (not) willing to share which is a short domestic fluff. And Dick has a cat so that's very happy for me haha

What’s your writing strengths? Writing dialogue! I like it a lot and I've been told I'm good at it :3

What’s your writing weaknesses? Actually sitting down to start writing 😂 and more complicated descriptions like fights or dances and stuff like that, I'm still working on it

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I like it a lot actually but not if there's too much of it - just a few sentences are enough or just a few words thrown here and there, and there needs to be translation somewhere in the fic, in the notes or something because people should know what the characters are saying but yeah, I like how it directly shows that someone is speaking in another language instead of writing "he cursed in russian" or other stuff like that

Did you hear about Leonor flying back to Madrid last week, it might have been the week before that week now, I don’t look at calendars often 😂. Leonor made a surprise visit to Santa Maria and visited her old friends as well as Sofía. Which I thought was endearing and very nice of the princess to go back to her friends in her old school where she spent almost all her education besides these two years abroad. Here is the interesting part, Leonor’s life at UWC is very private, which I love because these are the last little bits of freedom Leonor will get. Let her live it to the fullest without cameras and media. But I read this was on a tabloid so it’s not creditable at all, but I read that sources from UWC are spreading horrible rumors about Leonor, like she’s immature and arrogant. It’s known that Leonor keeps a quiet profile at school, she’s a diligent student and I have a huge amount of faith in her character. This is just me putting some ideas or theories, I wonder if Leonor is having trouble getting along with some peers at UWC and that’s why she went for a endearing yet week day sporadic visit to Santa Maria. Or maybe she just needed to talk with her sister. She has a lot of good friends as on break she went to a cider house with a few peers from UWC and even spoke perfect French! (It’s funny as I’m only two years older than Leonor yet I feel like she’s so much wiser than I) 😂 I absolutely love your account on here and I just sent this because I was quite annoyed with the tabloids and press. I’m gearing up because I’m sure next year we have something like this again. 😂 I hope Leonor is doing well at UWC and she’s almost done! It’s amazing how dutiful she is doing.

I hope it finally lets me post this, but I don’t pay attention to tabloids so it’s the first time I’m hearing of this.

Leonor may have gone home because she was having issues at UWC, maybe she went home because she just missed home. There’s so many possibilities. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Leonor may be a princess, but she is also a seventeen-year-old girl. Sure, people may assume seventeen yr olds are mature, but it’s not uncommon to have friend issues. Even if she was having issues, she has over a month of classes left and then she’ll be awaiting graduation. She’s almost done and she’ll never see the people she has issues with ever again.

I never understood why Twitter stan cut the names of blogs, like what ???? Just they don't give you credit to stop people from following your blogs? There is no logic behind this, In any case, people read your blogs. Everyone comes here daily for content and access to the archives, and SS constantly tweets on their accounts.what the hell is the point of cutting the name of blogs ?

What bothers me is the screenshot itself, like... at least ask for it?! So they don't ask and crop the name on top of everything. For likes and retweets, because I'm sorry but that's what the majority of the twitter accounts are about, and not "discourse"

On tumblr we're able to keep things in our bubble, most of the time I don't want this content on twitter, there's a reason why it's here and not here. Anyway, annoying. I can't wait for twitter to be over and for these people to move to tumblr because I will hunt them down and screenshot their posts 😂😂😂

To me it's obvious Pride's book will be next, but I will be honest, I don't know how anyone can root for him, much less Vittoria? He torpedoed his entire marriage and let his own wife think he was sleeping around on her because of what people might say about him like this is high school. He's angry at Wrath for the curse when his marriage to Lucia is the main drive for it because he can't take accountability for his actions. I also still can't fathom how Kerri thought we'd accept or like Vittoria's quick turn around either, esp after she did things like degrade Emilia naked and IN CHAINS. I'd much rather have a Wrath prequel instead of all this, but even then, I worry how Kerri would execute it at this point. It just feels like she wants to write Netflix!Bridgerton and the circles of HELL are not the best setting for that imho. Sorry for venting, I guess I just wanted that other anon to know they're not alone on their lukewarm Pride feelings. 🤣

You know what, you're absolutely right.

I get why Pride would do that, because he's...well, too proud to not show off his sin. But buddy, maybe you should not?? Have made your wife think?? You were cheating on her?? Their story is just so filled with miscommunication, and a bit of enabling of the same by Lucia's mother/the First Witch. But tbh, she only wanted the best for her daughter, and maybe if Pride had actually showed his love for Lucia, she would have budged. Because we do know he loves her, because he has never moved on from trying to find her. And with more miscommunication, she didn't bring up her doubts and questions to him either, which is annoying to me too.

Anyway, I think a part of why I want to see Pride and Lucia is because I want to see him put his namesake sin aside and dedicate himself to groveling and falling on his knees for her forgiveness. And well, communication. Please, for the love of god. 🤡

Also YES I know, right? Wrath has done nothing to get the curse, sir. Leave him alone. He has suffered because of it, despite not having had any hand in causing it. 😭

This is not to say I don't like Pride, I do. And I actually think he's quite interesting, so I'm waiting for his book desperately so he can get the development he needs so I can love him (as I love Sloth).

And oh bestie, I am so glad you agree with me on the Vittoria plotline. Her character has a lot of potential, but that last-minute redemption arc was a complete mess. And Emilia and Wrath are way better people than me, because no matter how ancient I was, I would NOT forgive her so soon for making my life hell (no pun intended) for months.

Like, ma'am. You could have made your points and had a conversation with your sister WITHOUT chaining her or poisoning her husband.

Not the mention the sexual frustration from pulling poor Emilia to whatever reason at the worst possible moments lmao 💀💀💀

Tell me more about this prince of hell who is a medicine scholar and an introvert and has a massive library in his house that he spends his time reading in instead of getting involved in hell-drama. You can't look me in the eyes and tell me he does not deserve his own book.
