How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

Scarlet usually just says whatever comes to mind, often before his brain catches up with his round, which can make him seem a bit… silly, at times. But he’s also very emotionally mature and honest, which comes though rather obviously when he talks. That’s to say, he speaks with confident and wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s also usually correct, lol. If it’s a question or something.

Coal is, mostly the same? In the rehearsed vs on the spot i mean. He probably thinks through his words a little more, but is still pretty genuine in the fact his words usually convey his first thoughts or ideas. With exceptions of more serious matters, to which he is usually rather slow to speak and very thoughtful. When speaking he seems a little on the soft spoken side, but if you pay attention he’s actually rather talkative.

Willow is… complicated? Her *reactions* are usually pretty quick and thoughtless, her laughter or the faces she pulls and similar that is. But her actual words are thought of ahead of time, she very rarely ever speaks without going over it all in her head. Like Scarlet she’s very confident, also boisterous and loud. Both in the sense of actual volume, and the more metaphorical ‘loud.’ People pay attention to her, she takes up space in conversation. They kind of loud. She’s also very light hearted, likes a good laugh.
