Hello hello everyone!! Long time no see :) I've had this frans in my head for YEARS...I started the character design sheet last year (or was it two years ago?) but recently decided to get off my ass and finish it! So here's a product of hard, August work!

I'm kinda sad to see so many of my frans peers gone, but I hope they're doing well! While I probably won't be some huge online presence going forwards, I'm still excited to support the new gen while I can!

ANYWAYS!! This is my interpretation of HT frans! (og creator @/horrortalecomic) that takes place around a decade after Frisk's escape from the underground. Their life kinda goes downhill fast though, as the combined survivor's guilt, insane trauma after battling the horror known as Omega Flowey, and the sheer lack of a support system just kinda destroys them in that period of time. I won't dwell too much on that time period, though! After moving away from the og Mt. Ebbot city, Frisk gets their fresh start, regularly going to therapy, taking their PTSD meds, managing a pretty popular bookshop downtown, and living with their super supportive roomates!

...And then the monsters are freed, which does throw Frisk into a whirlwind, but after a year or two they feel pretty safe. No monsters seemed to have moved to their city (especially since the monster population is significantly smaller than it was before), so everything would be okay. Until that fateful day...

here they are! fyi frisk's skin, eye and hair colour (except for the blonde streaks) apply to all my frisks now!

I'll add some info here i couldn't fit in the tags! -> They have a fun coworker dynamic where Frisk does NOT know he doesn't remember them so they're constantly walking on eggshells around him.

-> Frisk: Oh god he's after me he followed me for revenge but I deserve it oh god he's so mad at me

-> Sans: wow my manager is so kind and pretty and fun :)

-> Also sans is going to therapy, specifically to treat his memory problems,, so we don't know how long his positive view of Frisk will last...

If somebody asks me if the Steam Deck is worth getting I won't hesitate I will say it's worth killing for it's an incredible piece of technology which will absolutely change your life as much as It will ruin it because you will never want to be without it and I love it (I haven't touched mine in months let alone played a game on it)

the closest ill ever get to being a pick me girl is the joy that fills me when the chefs at work so clearly favouritise me. like im there nicely cleaned up in my smart-casual uniform just a 20 year old waitress smiling my customer service smile and behind me spawns Scary Dog Privilege 10x in the form of several burly middle-aged chefs at least three of which have criminal records and would all stick a bread knife in someone for bothering me

#like it's really funny bc i worked HARD with back of house bc i knew my job would be significantly easier if they liked me #(it speeds your orders through. you can ask for things without being told to fuck off during a rush. they'll get you food on shift etc)#and also there's a stereotype especially in fancier places where floor staff look down on kitchen staff and i think that's shitty #so i was always going to be try with them and be nice but ALSO when i first started my job it was in a peak era so while these days #we're struggling a lot and have had to employ a lot of college kids that dont know what they're doing #when i joined it was all private school girls that would swan about the place very snootily. so the divide between front and back of hosue #was INTENSE when i joined. and there i was a little state school girlie and the chefs immediately recognised that #and took me under their wing. so even though the class angle doesnt exist so much anymore and theres majority state schoolers #im still very much in with the chefs in a way not many of the other floor staff are. and there's also the fact im not scared of them #like chefs ARE rude and a lot of them DONT like or even respect floor staff but i will GLADLY tell them to fuck off if i think it necessary #and that's a language they understand like ironically there's one chef that doesnt get on with ANY of the waitresses #(i talked about him on another post he's the soup one) but he likes me bc when he tried that rude dismissive act i told him to shove it #and now the other waitresses literally SEND ME TO TALK TO HIM when they have questions/want something bc they know he'll listen to me #and me and the head chef are besties and the one kp will talk OVER THE OTHER WAITRESSES' heads and completely blank them #so she can talk to me and it's all just really funny bc the kitchen staff LOVE me and that's not even me being arrogant #it's like a known thing at work that they love me and im just. a 20 year old 5'2 waitress with my little pearl necklace and blouse #and some tattooed ginger mohawked 6ft chef is there getting angry for me when i come in complaining about a table #or the kp that is literally on probation will give me a sticky toffee pudding and tell everyone to leave me the fuck alone LMAO #hella slaves to capitalism

#danganronpa despair time #drdt #drdt mai #i almost was impulsive enough to get right into making a full body drawing of someone i havent even drew before #ahaha i need to remember to not do that. i kept messing up her face when i tried doing the second sketch so i drew another sketch #to practice drawing her. especially practicing her face. the sketch where i practiced drawing her face is the colored one #although nice and sweet characters are usually associated with rounder shapes i wanted to add a few sharp aspects #to her design. such as her eyes and body #her design is for the most part. a simple uniform although its unique enough to not be boring #her tattoo and hanging jacket and gloves heavily stands out. and to an extent her boots as well. those are unusual aspects #when designing characters with school uniforms #those aspects to her design may hint to her being a ''rebel''. possibly ''carefree'' to an EXTENT. shes probably the ''cool'' one too #her gloves and boots are pretty interesting. those aspects are more associated with characters that are more careful #she could definitely be an activist but is less impulsive and more articulate with her plans unlike xander #her tattoos are so interesting at a young age. with that aspect to her design.. could she be an adventurous person?#at times tattoos are an result of extreme behavior stemmed from strong emotions/motivations. could this be the case??#id man shes SUCH a mystery and you can have so much ideas with her character due to her design #also yall see that. yall see yall see how much of an OVERHTINKER i am its driving me CRAZBYHGHUGOJGP #mai is very much associated with teruko and xander and david. thats why she is pretty interesting #she could have parallels and contrasts with all of them when it comes to personality.#so her design may have parallel and similarities with all three of them in order to reveal her role in the story and personality #thats actually what i tried to think about while designing her #imagine if i did a mini essay about her design and her possible personality and roles in the game gnigjogp[#problem is that im not finished planning my design of xander and david. and to an extent teruko but i have a decent grasp of her design #so in result of me changing and devolping xander david and teruko's design. mai's design would likely change devolp as well #yeah uh sometimes a lot of thinking goes into making character designs gnujopgokg.
