Sandy has an extra moment of shock when MK/Xiaotian actually came into the world because he was so small in his hands! He also was confused that the baby was able to open his eyes immediately at birth. Sandy sometimes mixed up baby monkey stuff with baby cat stuff.

Guanyin showed up afterwards to bless the baby anyway, so she helped with the clean-up.

Sandy def brushes up on his midwifery skills later on with the arrival of the Eclipse Twins, and later still with the Lunar Nodelets. Even if his services aren't required, he doesn't want his honorary family to go without someone trained in this stuff.

MK would feel a little awkward if Uncle Sandy helped deliver his future kids, but knows he's in good hands if they ever get into a situation where MK can't get to a hospital/royal midwife in time.

Also each time Sandy helped deliver a baby, he cried most of the time from being overwhelmed/overjoyed. Like full on blubbering Ghibli tears. They get worse when he sees how the babies fits in his one hand.

here's my personal headcanons of redacted characters that i personally project onto! some i wrote specifically for pride month and others are just more specific one's :3

all of the damn crew is trans and in a poly relationship (even if not canon i've always seen them all together in someway whether it's romantic, sexual, or queerplatonic)! they all take t shots together and comfort each other through dysphoria

damien and hux are transmasc, lasko, dear, & fl are non-binary, and gavin is genderfluid or maybe genderqueer

(all characters are queer/bi/pan to some degree that's just canon logically since all audios are mfa)

guy is def transmasc and wears honey's hoodie because it secretly helps him with dysphoria (and also to be a menace because it's a win-win situation either way)

all the wolf boys are transmasc

i feel like vincent might be nonbinary or gender non-conforming regardless he just wears whatever he finds stylish

baby helps ollie with his t shots (ollie said his love language is physical touch so i think doing it together is def intimate and comforting for him)

Back in 2010 during my freshman semester I met a guy who became one of my best friends and crushes even though he wasn't my usual 'type'...aaand I also thought I "knew" that I wasn't his type. A few months later my friend group threw a fancy dress pizza party-

People were either poor or food humble (like this small amount is enough) or healthy or something so whenever there was a party I never got to eat as much as I wanted. Luckily most events like that were at night when most of the Ritalin was out of my system. But even Friday movie nights with dominos I wasn’t allowed to have too much.

Combined that with flashing forward to that first year at [redacted] when my relationship with food was finally stating to change. Always having an appetite. Enjoying more foods and flavors and branching out, feeling like a grown ass adult and having my own money so I could buy and eat whatever I wants in as large a quantity as I wanted.

I had a huge crush on you. Everything. I was drawn to to your appearance the first day I saw you. Very physically attracted to you and then you started talking to me. You were nerdy and goofy like me and you actually listened to what I was saying and were actually interested in it too. You treated me like a person and it felt real and genuine and no one ever talked like that before.

That night at the 20’s party that black dress on you was fire! There was pizza and I had grabbed a few slices earlier and ate them but wanted more. I wasn’t sure I should go back for seconds but really wanted to. And it looked like so much food! So many different toppings! I was eyeing the pizza and I think I just took one more slice because that seemed fair and reasonable. That’s when you came in. It was that conference room near the lounge that they always played D&D in. You looked at me and this is as close to what i remember as possible:

You “Going for seconds?”

Me (possibly blushing a little when you said that) “Yeah I’m thinking about it. But I already had like 5 slices not too long ago.” (And pretty sure I mentioned the money thing) “and like i didn’t even pitch in for it so…you know….”

I don’t exactly remover what you said next. I remember the feelings in my head and body way more for some reason. You make have mentioned that you helped paid and didn’t give a fuck if I ate a whole nother box. Something about how I should eat when I feel hungry and then something along the lines of “dig in” “go for it” —something like that

You were so hot in that dress and your eyes were as bright as always and when you told me I could take another box I felt my face get hot and like my belly tingled like the cliche butterflies feeling. My heart was def pounding and it felt more than just being attracted to your personality and face/body.

It was what you had said about food in relation to me.

And that if im hungry I should just eat like it was just that simple.

No one had said stuff like that I mean I never really ate that much during the day cuz Ritalin but at nights I’d just binge and it made my parents worried so….basically I didn’t have a happy relationship with food.

And when you said that the way you said it all, I got flustered and turned on and I remember feeling confused about it. I remember I just put 4 more pizzas on my plate for eating a total of 10 in less than…maybe 30-60 mins? I said thanks to you and I think I walked back to my other friends

He didn’t know how to answer now. There were too many variables, too much uncertainty. Sherlock tried not to think about much other than cases these days. The Work was safe, a blessing in the shape of crime. Anything else was too dangerous. A serrated knife. 

Perhaps that was his answer. Yet he knew it to be incomplete. Still, he started a list, late at night, when no-one at peace should be awake.

He’d never forgotten what it felt like to miss her with every single breath. Upon arrival, Rosie had stopped right before going in, opened her pack and given him a green teddy. To keep him company while she was gone, she’d said. The bear didn’t leave his pocket all day.

Instead of two armchairs across the fire, they now had weekly dinners. Like clockwork. It was good, if a completely different life than the one they’d hoped to have together, so long ago. It wasn’t until John handed him a box over his still full plate of The Thing With The Keys that he realised there was no turning back to how things were.

Post and that could be about your real life but it got me thinking (which is dangerous) about out of our career crew who would it be. And I have some thoughts and I decided to force you to read them.

1) Clove and Marvel

I can say with such confidence It would not work. It simply wouldn’t. I can’t see it happening. They just won’t be compatible. He would make one joke and clove would be done.

2) Cato x Marvel

Maybe… maybe….if enough shots were had then maybe…… actually I feel like I’m talking myself into it. Like they wouldn’t dare obviously but maybe a one night stand would be fine. Plus then marvel could make jokes to clove like “and we BOTH know how that is clove” while she tries not to murder him.

3) Cato x Glimmer

I feel like it could work but also I just don’t see it. Idk I feel like it would be fine but eh.

4) Glimmer x Clove

Absolutely. 100% could happen. It starts with the classic “omg you have never kissed a girl Clove?” And spirals from there. Marvel can make endless jokes about Clove only liking blonds. It had so much potential.

2. Something about character creator that just couldn't quite capture Violet:

I wish there was more freedom to move and position scars/tattoos. And to have more than just one or two. Violet has the sword neck tattoo and I really would have liked to have been able to size the tattoo up and move it further down so the pomel starts at the hollow of their neck and the blade goes down to their sternum. Give us more body scar options!! Give me top surgery scars!!!! (Theres a good mod for them on nexus if anyones interested!)

I also had a bit of an annoying time finding a body and face structure I liked together. I wish all face presets were available on every body type, I liked a masc face preset in body 2 but wanted to use body 3. And like....the character creator is nice but JUST GIVE ME SLIDERS!!!! Body sliders, facial structures sliders, ear length sliders like !!!!! I want options!!!! Let me make an abomination of a character if I so choose😂😂

I used a mod for more tiefling horns bc I wanted horns that went further back along the head (its really funny seeing them clip through the bedroll during long rest animations lols). The base horns arent bad, again I wanted sliders so they could be the length/in the position I wanted.

3. Using illithid powers?

Oh yeah, I took full advantage of charm and psionic backlash during combat. I took concentrated blast and used it...maybe once? It was kinda lackluster to me.

Survival instinct (the ability you get for helping omeluum) and favourable beginnings got me out of a couple of rough spots, so i really liked those:)

9. Fave member of the tiefling refugees? Is it the same as your Tavs?

Personally I *adoooore* Alfira (yes I was crushed when [redacted] happened during my durge run). I defs spent too much time fighting my mods to give Violet musical proficiency so they could stand roof of the elfsong and play music with together🥰 Arabella and Roland both really grew on me, and of course best boi Dammon is always a fave!

Violets got a soft spot for Mol and Lia, theyre both so feisty! I headcannon Dammon and Violet being pals, Violets a Hexblade so I feel like they'd have some interesting weapon chats and Dammon is the only one who they trust to take care of their pact weapon when it needs repair. They respect Zevlor for having to make the hard calls, and thinks Alfira and her girlfriend are really sweet (theyd get drinks together 100%).

41: used to adventuring before events of the game?

Absolutely. Violet wasnt originally from Baulders Gate, they grew up a ways away in a place that was always in conflict with their neighbouring kingdom. As such, they were trained in a militia, they had fought before and were fairly competent in taking care of themselves on the battlefield. But one day everything went wrong, their home fell, and they found themselves close to death on the battlefield, weapon broken and missing an eye. They made their pact that day, a shadowy sword being the only thing to save them from oncoming monsters and soldiers.

Once recovered, they began traveling, searching for items or people their patron required. This is what lead them to Baulders Gate. They'd join with other bands of travelers and mercs every now and then, but was very much used to roughing it on their own. Having such a lively camp was a big change for Violet, it took a while for them to trust others to take watch overnight and they still fight Gale over cooking rights some nights (tho they will admit, hes a much better cook than they are).

Fic Plot Bunny: Izual Breaks His Sword and Sponsors a Roadtrip Through Hell

Title says it. Izzy's fantabulous sword Azurewrath gets busted, but its too cool so he has to find someone to fix it.

And that someone is Hephasto.

But Hephasto is in Hell.

Izual is not in Hell, bcuz screw that place.

Izual goes to Inarius, fallen angels flock together yeah?

“Inarius. Quit what you’re doing.” The other angel tilted his head questioningly. “Join my sword quest.” Inarius was easily swayed.

And from there they just start collecting people.

They dunno where Hephasto is, but Hadriel might, but they don't know where Hadriel is, so they go to Maundevir bcuz why not? He knows stuff about things. Inarius also brings his girlfriend bcuz why not? Lilith also knows stuff about things.

Swordtrip Buddy count: 6 (Lilith brought her bogadile).

On their way through Hell they run into Rakanoth who doesn't have answers, and Andariel, who also doesn't have answers. They also find Shaddox, although no one but Maundevir really knows who he is (Izzy Ina + Had have all been missing for like. A thousand years at this point.) And he's trying to save Verathiel whose definitely not dead fuck you blizzard.

They def find her too while messing around in the Realm of Terror. Someone makes a joke about angels trapped in Hell.

They run into Cydaea, who politely directs them towards the Sin Prisons bcuz Lilith asked nicely. Succubi Accord.

They stage a prison break.

They find Hephasto! And *checks notes* Lister the Tormentor? Turns out Hephasto has a demon boyfriend too. Lucky guy! He agrees to fix Izual's damn sword in exchange for freedom.

Sword needs to be reforged in either Heaven or Hell tho, cuz Sanctuary and Pandemonium don't have the right kind of forge to work a phaseblade.

Hadriel dies, or maybe fakes his death. Izual feels kinda bad about it, but he's like 87% sure dudes still alive. Inarius knows for a fact he is, cuz he helped set the stage, but he's not tattling.

Verathiel is also like. On Death's door. Fortunately for her Malthael is stuck in traffic on i-94 with Rathma.

They prolly woulda brought him along too otherwise.

Everyone gets outta Hell fine tho, Izual has his sword back, Hephasto and Lister go to live out in Pandemonium somewhere, everyone else goes back to Sanctuary.

They fix Verathiel, and she n Shaddox are kinda in a weird limbo situation. Heaven won't take them back, but Sanctuary is weird. Izual seems like he knows what he's doing though? He's a...demon angel thing...living comfortably enough out on some island in the Sea of Light somewhere.

Izual does not want plucky buddy children angels. He gets them anyway.

Maundevir goes back to Heaven, but not before hanging around Lilith's cabin for an extra suspicious night. He'll see what he can do about connecting with Andalon, Berheim, Yoventh Mikayel Tormoros etc

Lilith definitely didn't find anything useful in the Realm of Sin. And Inarius is not tattling on that either.
