Don’t mind me, just feel like sharing the Barnes family that lives in my head

James “Bucky” Buchanan Barnes: The oldest sibling, hella protective of his siblings (only they are allowed to make each other miserable, anyone else will suffer). Huge nerd, loves sci-fi, good at most of telle things that he tries, he loves his family more than anything, it’s that simple

Steve(n) Grant Rogers: is one of the Barnes as far as anyone is concerned, most people actually believe that because of how much time he spends with them and how close he is with all of them. He and Bucky are the closest and know each other by heart, but he’s also really good friends with the girls and sometimes jokingly calls Winnie and George “Ma”, “mother”, “pa” and “father” usually when he’s being a kiss ass to piss of the siblings. Honestly he pretty much lives at their house at this point. He’s a Barnes sibling, not up for debate for any of them.

Mary-Anne “Annie” Charity (Sheldon-)Barnes: She’s aboit a year younger than Steve and two and a half years younger than Bucky, but honestly, she’s probably the most mature out of the bunch. She’s the mom of the friend group (yes the siblings are also pretty much a friend group, they love each other. Unrealistic from my experience but leave me alone) and she’s also the most helpful around the household. She’s the only Blonde in the biological Barnes family, which often helps Steve to blend in with them. She and Steve are besties, she had a huge crush on him when they were kids but got over it eventually, she likes to joke that Steve is her favorite brother when she’s messing with Bucky. She’s usually the one reasoning and lecturing the others but often ends up being the one to cover for them when the others are doing something stupid. Bucky used to call her “MAC” because of her initials to piss her off, and got her to tear up on her wedding day when he called her “MACS”. She got married to William Sheldon as soon as she was old enough to get married and had a son called Charles (everyone called him Charlie), Steve was his godfather.

Rebecca “Becca” Marjorie (Proctor-)Barnes: she’s three and a half years younger than Bucky and is the sibling that annoys him the most. Bucky and Becca are always finding ways to mess with each other and make the other miserable (figuratively speaking, they would never try to actually hurt each other). Annie is usually the one to split them up when they’re arguing. She looks a lot like Bucky and has a ton in common with him, and they both hate it and use it to annoy the heck out of each other. Later on she gets engaged to Arthur Proctor who asked for George, Bucky and Steve’s blessing to marry her. They got married after the war. She became an activist for civil rights and peace after the war. She and her husband Arthur died in a car crash in 1960. They were the Winter Soldier’s first mission.

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Madeline Barnes: depending on my mood, she’s between 16 and 10 years younger than Bucky. Either way, she’s the baby of the family. She’s the sweetest kid alive, and looks a lot like her siblings. She was one of the many people who believed that Steve was a Barnes, and broke down crying when she accidentally discovered the truth at the age of ten, running to Steve and begging him not to leave her even though he never had any intentions to do so. She’s a very smart kid who hangs on her older siblings’ every word. She trusts them never to lie to her, even when the truth is ugly, they do their best to explain things to her in a way she can understand (and not get traumatized by in the case of the war).

George Barnes: is their father, he lost his middle and ring finger of his right hand during the Great War, and the idea of war terrifies him though the first years of Bucky’s life were hard on him, he usually managed to ground himself with the presence of his children. His family is Jewish, and his uncle Randolph is a total dickhead that is not allowed near his children ever since that one time.

Winnifred “Winnie” Barnes: she’s the mother, she and George love Steve like one of their own, she’s an amazing cook and loves when Steve and Sarah stay over for meals, she’s very generous and especially during the depression when everyone was in need, she never hesitated to give up things to others who needed it more. She’s catholic like Steve and Sarah and raised her kids to know her religion, though they picked more up from their father

Sarah Rogers: is Steve’s mom, she doesn’t get to spend as much time with the children due to her need to work for a living, she loves how close Steve got to that amazing family and is always reassured that he has someone behind his back when he does something stupid and has another family to rely on when she’s at work. She and Winnie pretty much share custody of the kids, they love seeing her whenever she has the time

Anyway, just some personal headcanons that no one asked for!

This man is gay 🏳️‍🌈

During his teen years he had a lot of internalised homophobia due to Sid and Kreese. They influenced him a lot when he was younger.

He dated Ali because his friends were there at the time they started dating and he felt pressured. Ali found out pretty quickly and agreed to stay with him for a bit because she knew it was something he was struggling with.

He didn’t want to accept it at first and it lead to him trying to act too macho which lead to him acting like a dick and Ali eventually broke up with him. She didn’t say anything about him being gay but was still upset about the way he treated her because she thought he was her friend.

Bobby definitely knew about his sexuality but didn’t say anything because he didn’t want to scare him.

The big struggle started the day he met Daniel LaRusso.

He took one look into those brown doe eyes and was instantly gone for him. This angered him and he went into denial because he was also scared of Kreese finding out and hurting him. His anger and fear lead to him acting the way he did. His major feelings for Daniel confused him and he tried to convince himself he was jealous because Daniel started dating his ex-girlfriend.

He became a little obsessed with Daniel.

To be fair all of Cobra Kai we’re obsessed with Daniel.

He felt so angry at Halloween but also really guilty and pissed off at himself too when he later went home.

He still wasn’t able to admit it until he got much older and by then he had already had a relationship with Shannon and they’d had Robby.

He’s always felt something for Daniel and seeing him again ignited it.

Miguel often explains modern lgbt terms to him and can probably tell that Johnny has it bad for Daniel but doesn’t want to push it.

I think becoming a mentor to so many kids in the lgbt community and becoming proper friends with Daniel helped him come to terms with his sexuality. It was a journey but once he realised that Kreese was toxic and he needed to drop him he was able to heal and eventually his internalised homophobia started to fade. He was able to become more comfortable with himself.

Johnny still doesn’t know anything about queer people despite being one himself but he’s trying.

He’s shocked when he finds out that Daniel is bisexual and even more shocked when Daniel reveals that even back in high school when they hated each other he found Johnny attractive.

Once they start getting cool with each other they definitely start dating (Amanda and Daniel divorced but are still besties). Both of them still have a rivalry but it has more blatant flirting and sometimes their bickering ends in them making out.

They literally talk about each other all the time.

Johnny finally comes out about being gay and his relationship with Daniel after spending the day with Ali.

He considers Sam and Anthony his kids too after a while (he still finds Anthony annoying but finds the kid is growing on him).

To celebrate him coming out the kids get him a pride flag headband (I don’t know what it’s called lmao the thing Daniel wears) and he acts like it’s stupid but they can tell he’s a little touched. He doesn’t wear it but he keeps it in a special place.

He went to his first pride parade with some of the kids and Daniel to see what it’s like.

He gets a little giddy when he gets to refer to Daniel as his boyfriend. He once got drunk and started telling everyone that he has “the hottest boyfriend ever” and claiming that his boyfriend is better than anyone else’s. Daniel was mortified and kept apologising to everyone as he followed him but was really pleased at the same time.

They’re both referred to as the Karate Boyfriends by the kids.

i’m super bored so i’m gonna rate stranger things ships! buckle in folks, let’s get into it😎

it’s ok ig. i’m not like a hater of it? but it’s definitely not a great ship. no hate to mileven stans, it’s just not for me. i liked them in season 1 and 2, but it got toxic and weird in season 3 and season 4 solidified my disdain for it. i think mike needs to do some self-reflection (maybe discover a few things about himself—michael wheeler i know what you are) and i think el needs to become her own person outside of her relationship with him. i wholeheartedly support the el/mike exes-to-besties agenda though!

they’re so cute oml, i shipped them since season 1 and their build-up and eventual payoff was immaculate! i loved their early season tension and their kiss in season 4 was so so good. they fit so well together. they don’t get 10/10 only because a) i LOVED bob and joyce in season 2 more than life and will forever mourn that joyous man and b) i kinda loved the whole single grumpy father figure/lonely teenage daughter dynamic el and hop had.

this ship. this goddamn ship. the hurt/comfort. the angst. the teasing. the SOULMATISM of it all. seriously, these two are meant for each other. lucas is max’s safe place, her happiest memory and her favourite escape. max is lucas’ sunshine, his wake-up call, his reason to try. i didn’t use to love them, in fact it was only since season 4 that i’ve been such an avid shipper of them but god. they really are the softest. ‘i like talking with you, mad max’ and ‘i’m still here’ and ‘lucas!’ and the notes and the snowball and holy shit i love them sm.

•byler—7/10•

this is with the exception of season 2 byler, which gets 10/10 (‘crazy together’ oh my god). apart from that, i get the hype for it, but i also want the best for my lil ball of fruity sunshine will byers. he is my baby boy and i will protect him. and i just think that mike needs to do some growing up before he’s ready to be with will. also, i’ve never loved mike as a character (again, with the exception of s1 and 2 mike, he was a sweetie) and i think he’d end up hurting will if they got together at this point. in the future, if mike can prove that he’s matured and grown into himself, i will wholeheartedly support this relationship.

again, it’s ok. i did love them in season 2, but season 1 jonathan was a creep, and season 3 jancy just didn’t do it for me. jonny boy has grown on me over the seasons, but i think everybody moved on from him taking nakey nakey pictures of nancy without her knowledge wayyyyy too quickly. also, they just want different things in life and that’s ok! i do prefer them over stancy, but if i’m honest, i am absolutely a lesbian nancy supporter. the comphet on that woman is insane. so again, like mileven, i am a nancy/jonathan exes-to-besties advocate!

they were not it in season 4. like, it made me angry that the duffers tried to push it on us again. i did sort of like them in the early seasons, but steve was a jerk and nancy needed to grow into herself and they went their separate ways for the better. steve became a good person and nancy became the strong, independent badass woman we all know and love. i love them as friends and co-babysitters of the kids, but not as lovers. their arcs wouldn’t have happened without their break-up, and they’re both so different as people that getting back together would’ve been like going backwards. steve’s speech about kids in the van made me physically ill with how a) out of character it was and b) how the duffer brothers tried to make it seem like pushing out 6 kids and living the suburban american dream (read: nightmare) was something nancy would want, when she’s spent 3 seasons displaying an obvious disgust for that kind of life. if they get back together in s5 i’ll be throwing something at the tv.

•elmax—9/10•

they. are. so. cute. i love this ship sm, it’s so wholesome and soft. it just works as well—el allows max to explore her own kindness, her own vulnerability, her own ability to care, and max allows el to explore her own identity, what makes her happy, how to be independent. season 3 elmax was superior, but that scene in s4 where they reunite is utterly breathtaking—‘if you touch her again, i will kill you again’ protective gfs!! honestly, if i wasn’t such a lumax shipper i’d be all in for them. as it is, my motto is currently this: max has two hands! one for el and one for lucas :)

no. just no. these two actively dislike each other lmao. max is perpetually annoyed by mike’s existence and mike thinks max is like, the worst. they couldn’t even do enemies to lovers because max would steal mike’s gf in a heartbeat and would probably rather eat glass than kiss michael wheeler. they only get 1 point because finn and sadie have a sweet friendship.

they would’ve been cute tbh. and since it’s been discovered that chrissy is actually 18 instead of 16, it’s not a weird one either. when i thought she was 16 i was put off, but now i’m sort of neutral on it. that scene in the woods was very sweet and her and eddie totally could have had the whole popular cheerleader gf/metalhead nerdy bf thing going on. however, it was only one episode they were in together and the ship was never one i was like ‘oh my god i love this’ so. i will say that grace van dien does not deserve the hate she gets for shipping them, especially when joseph quinn gets none of it for the same thing. other than that, it’s not massively awesome but it’s pretty cute.

at this point i just want robin to have a gf. just let maya hawke kiss a woman on this show. at first, i was super excited for these 2, but then i saw the way miss buckley looked at nancy wheeler and i was like ‘vickie who?’ (i see you duffer brothers). also, vickie’s whole character felt like a diversity box tick. like she had no originality whatsoever, they just made her a carbon copy of robin which pissed me off. however, i see the potential. i would not be unhappy if they had a fleshed out, well-developed relationship in s5. especially since vickie, a bi girl, is being played by amybeth mcnulty, a bi queen.

ok. so. i don’t hate this ship. i really don’t. in fact, i’ve written them in some of my ronance fics. i think they could’ve been cute. however. they hype for these two was so overdone and the way people treated them in comparison to more fleshed out, developed dynamics like ronance was really annoying. especially because the majority of steddie shippers are straight women who then deny that ronance could ever happen. the ship itself was ok, but if i’m being realistic, they didn’t have that many scenes together and the fandom of this ship ruined it for me. the fact that the majority of fics in the ronance tag on ao3 are steddie with background ronance really grinds my fucking gears, and the amount of people who are fetishising steddie because they’re both attractive men is just so fucking irritating. overall, not a bad ship but a fairly toxic fandom (not all of you, of course—chill steddie shippers are cool, but some of y’all, jesus christ)

the best ship. for nancy, for robin, for the show, for ever. they mean the world to me. they are the world to me. if i had one wish, it would be for ronance to be canon. they make me so fucking emotional because i want what they have. as someone who so heavily relates to robin (chaotic lonely lesbian who is desperate for love but feels she may never be loved as much as she loves, possibly autistic and feels destined to be an annoyance to those around her) i want a nancy. i want to be loved in my entirety. and those two, they get each other. sure, robin irritated nancy at first and they didn’t get on, but they grew. nancy, who’s never had anyone listen to her and believe in her with such intent, finds robin, who is more than willing to, who thinks ‘nancy’s a genius’ and would follow her anywhere. robin, who thinks all she can ever be is helpless and annoying, finds nancy, who trusts her with her life, who picks her and picks her and keeps picking her, who thinks she’s just as smart as she actually is, who understands her needs and her vulnerabilities and validates her, tells her ‘it’s ok’ and ‘you got this’. these two work in a way no other ship does and they are so undeniably soulmates. they need each other. they want each other. they deserve each other. there’s a reason i write about them so much—holy shit honestly i love them so fucking much.

This! If anything, the fact that he stayed so long with her makes me think he might be a super empath.

It's a known fact that narcissists specifically target people who are very empathetic or very kind because those people are easier to manipulate. Factor in what literally everyone who has ever known or worked with Joe has said about how lovely he is and how sensitive he is to other people's feelings and how he wants people to feel safe on set along with what was happening with the hate train against Taylor in 2016 and the way she probably did make herself seem like the completely flawless victim, it's not surprising at all he would fall for her. And let's be real, at the age of 25, he was probably extremely flattered that an international superstar would be so interested in him that he didn't think about anything else. But obviously reality had to sink in for him at some point and we have Taylor's own music to tell us that she did keep a tight leash on him to keep him from leaving with all her manipulative behavior. But eventually he did manage to break free of her and now he's thriving even with the negative attention that she keeps trying to thrust on him. And even the way she harnesses her fanbase is such a red flag. What other celebrity does that to the extent that she does. I have my criticisms of Selena Gomez but even she told her fans to stop harassing Hailey and Kylie while Taylor is actively encouraging her fans to go after Joe.

There is one thing that I feel doesn't get talked about which is how she suddenly became besties with Sophie Turner when she was divorcing Joe Jonas. Now, Sophie was in a very vulnerable position because of the divorce and the way Joe was slandering her in the media by calling her a bad mother in an effort to stop her from getting custody of the kids so she could take them back to England to live a quiet life like she'd always wanted. And then suddenly in the midst of all that, Taylor involves herself and starts doing pap walks with Sophie Turner? I don't actually blame Sophie because I understand she must have been desperate and you really don't see much of her nowadays anyway. But what reason did Taylor have to get involved with the woman her ex was getting divorced from if not to gain clout as some big feminist. Bear in mind this was happening while she was still getting some heat for Matty Healy and the private jet thing so she was in need of some good pr. And it worked because the articles that should have been about how Sophie Turner was being treated became about what a girl's girl Taylor was to be supporting Sophie as Joe J's ex. It's funny because fans accuse Joe of going after Taylor when she was at her most vulnerable when Taylor literally did that with Sophie. And when was the last time we actually saw or heard her say anything in support of Sophie aside from the pap walks?

I think being with Travis works for her right now because it gives the illusion of her having moved on as well as give her the opportunity to be in the spotlight with a partner who also loves it as much as she does. But it is going to backfire on her because one narcissist can't exist peacefully with another one. At best, they will have a messy breakup where she will once again claim victimhood. At worst, they will eventually destroy each other.

At any rate, we can literally see how much better off Joe is away from her and the less attention he gives her or her fans the better off he will continue to be. I hope he spends his birthday celebrating with friends and family, knowing what a lucky escape he's had and that he deserves so much better than her

Heartstopper Cast DR: i’m a part of the cast of Heartstopper (an OC named Vivienne Green - Harry’s sister - who’s besties with the group, helps Elle when she transfers school, and is Pansexual and eventually gets in a polycule). I end up making the dresses for the Folklore stretch of the Era’s tour. not to brag or anything hehe

MGG DR: I’m dating the one, the only, Matthew Gray Gubler. I just thought it would be really funny and interesting to go to a reality where him and I are pretty much polar opposites. I’m an ex-ballerina who still practices, so I have that grace and elegance around me. I love to dress in dark neutrals all year round. For my job, I’m a famous published horror author. I have an rbf and a WRY sense of humor. Literally black cat aesthetic to the max. And then there’s Matthew who’s a ball of sunshine compressed into colorful grandpa clothes. honestly i love this one

Tom Holland DR: okay so this one is from my Spider-Man phase. But i actually love it so much. I play Felicia Hardy in the Spider-Man films, who is as much of a love interest as MJ in this reality. Tom and I actually grew up together since I would always vacation at my aunt’s house in the UK who was also neighbors to the Hollands. We’ve always ‘hated’ each other growing up (when really we were closer to each other than anyone else) and so when we started working together on the Spider-Man movies, all those underlying feelings started coming to the surface

The Joes DR: Okay, so. In this one, I play Chrissy Cunningham in Stranger Things. Her character is actually a lot different than in this reality where she’s actually secretly dating Eddie Munson behind Jason’s back. She doesn’t die, her friend Angie does, so Eddie and Chrissy join the party to save the world n stuff. Basically, Joe Quinn (his name is Thomas in this reality) and I got really close on set and are rly flirty hehe. And, to make it even better, we ALSO have a thing with Joe Keery as well (hence the name change to make my life easier). So we’re all a budding throuple and we kinda try to sneak that dynamic into the show hehe. note: certain actors aren’t poopy people in this reality and don’t support genocide 🙄) 

Hogwarts DRs:

Draco DR: this was my first ever dr! draco tok got me into shifting. I’m a gryffindor who’s friends w the golden trio. I transferred into Hogwarts in 4th year and pretty much just am there for the ride as the canon happens. I’m in a secret relationship w Draco (shocking ik) and he’s actually not a bad person. i obvi scripted out the supremist in him guys, dw. i actually have so much detail about all the ways we meet up behind everyone’s back and stuff. you never forget your first guys 🩷

Tom Riddle DR: AGAIN. BEAR WITH ME. ITS NOT BAD. basically Hogwarts is more of an elite rich kid college for wizards than a high school type place. BLOOD SUPREMACY DOESNT EXIST. But there is a whole powerful family hierarchy. kind of like a mob family thing??Instead of Slytherins being the ones most likely to be death eaters, they’re the ones most likely to be from those more powerful families. The Riddles are one of the most powerful families (and rich bc sorry but i’m not dating a poor orphan guys). I’m a Gryffindor who transfers in and becomes besties with the Slytherin group (Theo, Enzo, Mattheo -i’m a mattheo truther, never matthew- Blaise, Pansy, and Draco). Anyways, I fall for Tommy bc of his whole dark and broody best friend’s older brother thing he has going on.

MCU DRs:

Peter Parker DR 1: i’m obsessed w the idea of being genius buddies w Peter Parker and eventually taking over SI, so this is that. We’ve been best friends and neighbors since we were little, and got bit by spiders at the same time. I’m Silk, and we fight crime tgt. We’re both geniuses and go to Midtown together. When we meet Tony Stark, him and Pepper pretty much take us under their wings and we become their heirs to SI. We revolutionize the tech industry before we even graduate high school, we’re that smart. example: we build a water filter that we use to completely clean the Hudson River. we create inter-dimensional communication to talk w the other spidey gang after we get sucked into a rift and meet miles. on like a random tuesday too. Peter Parker DR 2: My first Peter dr that i made, but kind of abandoned. Him and I have an enemies to loves relationship bc after talking w Ned, he thinks the way to attract me is to act as if he doesn’t care about me 🙄. these dumbasses. anyways, i’m Tony’s adoptive daughter who he rescued from these evil scientists who gave me powers n stuff. it was a pretty cool concept when i first thought of this reality. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stucky DR: Takes place in the 1940s at first, bc I’m best friends and eventually dating Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. The three of us are a force to be reckoned with guys. I’m super fucking smart, Steve is super fucking stubborn, and Bucky is super fucking protective. So, chaos basically. I’m really interested in science and am offered a spot to work on the super soldier serum by Howard Stark. Canon events become canon, I create SHIELD with my besties Howie and Peggy, Howie tells me he’d been working on cryogenics but needs a volunteer to test it, so I agree. I wake up in 2017, after the Civil War was actually dealt with civilly and am reunited with my loves in the present time. One of my favorites that I ever scripted out. 🩷

Peaky Blinders DR: I was a nurse during the war that took care of Tommy and his brothers, and him and I became really close and fell in love. We reconnected a couple of years after the war ended, and I basically become his right hand when it comes to all the Peaky business. He trusts me more than anyone else because we’re both ass over tits in LOVE with each other. Like, yall don’t understand how in love we are. Also, you know that scene of Elle Woods pulling up to Harvard in a full pink outfit? Literally me every single day. Me in my lil pink blazer and skirt sets and the brightest fucking smile on my face making everyone confused why tf someone is as happy as i am in birmingham of all places. Haikyu DR: i’m the manager of Karasuno that takes over for Kiyoko. I’m the granddaughter of Nekoma’s coach, so i know all about the game and play just as good as the players. Just because those 4 minutes of him had me licking the screen, i’m Kiyoomi Sakusa’s girlfriend. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH ITS CRAZY. we have a whole friend group with Ushijima, Tendo, Iizuna, Komori, and Atsumu. Imagine the chaos that group brings everywhere. It’s such a fun dr, i should really revisit it more often.

Lloyd Hansen DR: i watched the gray man and this man with his white pants and pornstache burrowed his way into my heart. pretty much im his ditzy lil girlfriend who he adores and just skips around the place in pink and he spoils endlessly. 🩷

Mafia DR: didn’t really flesh this one out, but the gist is that i meet this guy in college and he turns out to be a part of the mob. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and so yeah.

Sunny DR: this is a better cr one, where i’m pretty much just really fucking smart and in a FANTASTIC AND LOVING relationship with this guy named Peter. He sadly doesn’t exist in this reality 😞😞. But he’s literally the sweetest ever and he’s blond, so I call him Sunny. Like, my sunshine boy ☀️. Literally everything i want in like, a mundane life is in this reality. also, for no other reason than i think it’s so funny, peter happens to be the son of one of my teachers in school. Why? i have no fucking clue 😭😭. like, i go to his house to meet his dad and he’s my fucking history teacher. it’s mortifying but absolutely fucking hilarious.

Criminal Minds DR: i join the BAU after Emily’s whole arc where she dips, and everyone but Hotch and Spencer are a bit prickly with me. I’m best friends and eventually get into a friends with benefits relationship with him (which is so out of character it’s crazy, but let me live). I need a Fruity Four + Jargyle Modern AU where it’s a sitcom kinda like The Big Bang Theory. So, allow me to present it to you :

Robin and Steve are besties/roommates with pretty boring life. Robin works as neuroscientist at Caltech while still working on her doctorate. Steve is a school counselor ( and his students are like Dustin and the others ).

Both of Steve and Robin’s social life are mess : Steve goes on countless dates without ever finding the perfect match, and Robin is always this awkward girl that just don’t know how to make friends at work, let alone ask a girl out.

One day, they have a new neighbor, and it’s Nancy, who is a starting reporter at a small local newspaper. Steve is instantly interested in her, and they will date for a bit.

Then, Nancy gets a job at a bigger newspaper, and she meet Jonathan, the photographer. At first, they won’t really like each other ( and Jonhatan thinks Steve is annoying ). But, after working together on an hard case, they’ll start to get along.

Steve will get jealous of their blossoming friendship, and will start to realize that Nancy doesn’t really seems to like him like she likes Jonathan, and they’ll eventually broke up.

Jonathan and Nancy will date ( longer than Steve and Nancy, but not too long tho ) ( Also deciding that Steve won’t have a crush on Robin and that she’s openly lesbian bc why not ).

When Jonathan and Nancy finally break up, Steve ( yes, they became friends at some point ) take him to a basketball match with some of his friends, because he know that Jonathan doesn’t have any and he thinks that’s not healthy of him. Jonathan ends up not liking any of Steve friends, and leaves the match to get pizza, and there he met Argyle.

Argyle and Jonathan are the really close friends that act like a couple and everyone knows they’re in a relationship but them ( until they figure it out ).

Robin will start to see Vickie, and that’s gonna make Nancy super jealous, and she’ll always invite Steve over at her flat to complain about how annoying Vickie is ( even when she does nothing ). Steve will try everything to set up Robin and Nancy together, but Robin is just really dumb and thinks that Nancy doesn’t like her like that, so she stays with Vickie to forget her feelings.

They figure it out eventually, because Nancy deserve a fucking girlfriend. That’s it.

One day, Robin makes Steve drives her ( bc she doesn’t know how to drive—my girl’s a lesbian and she can do math, therefore she can’t drive, I don’t make the rules ) to a new comics store that just opened. Steve and Robin goes there weekly, and Steve always complain bc he fucking hate Eddie, whose the owner of the store.

Eddie is even more annoying because all of Steve’s students always come into the store and they all worships Eddie and thinks he’s so cool ( and Steve is not jealous ). But Robin seems to love Eddie, and they always go to gay bar together ( Robin also brings Nancy along ).

Because of his friendship with Robin, Eddie gets dragged to the group, and he becomes friends with all the other. Robin, Nancy, Jonathan and Argyle will always go on double dates, so Steve often founds himself alone with Eddie, and he learn more about him and start to actually like him ( and might have a crush on him ).

They start to date, and they do on triple dates all together.

Also, Eddie is bestie with Chrissy, who is the coach of the cheerleader team at Steve’s school.

Eddie will create Hellfire, and DM their campaign from Steve and Robin’s flat.

Every Sunday, they will all ( Fruity Four, Jargyle, Chrissy, the kids ) gather at the flat to have dinner together.

They’re also all very close with Hopper, Joyce and Murray ( plus Enzo ). That will makes things kinda awkward when Steve has to call them to the school because Eleven punched a bully ( but, he will let her go without punishment because he has a soft heart for those kids—and he is secretly kinda proud of her ).

I want either Jargyle, Ronance, Steddie or three of them to get Murrayed. I don’t care wich, I just need it.

When Robin moves out to share a flat w/ Nance, both her and Steve are devastated ( even tho they still live on the same floor ) and they cry for weeks.

All of the kids confess their love issues to Steve, and the adults always try to get the drama out of him but he refuse because he doesn’t want to break the kids’ trust.

Also, no racism, no homophobia, no sexism, no ableism, no nothing. Their world is perfect and everyone is happy because that’s what they deserve.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

If affection had a name, it would be Tanjiro Kamado. He’s so affectionate with his friends, there’s a reason your group calls him the big brother. He shows his care in big ways - doing much of the chores, bringing snacks that you like, reassuring you with a smile and a hug - he’s a very caring person.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

You’d probably become fast friends with him after only days of knowing each other. He’s so nice that it’s hard not to like him. As besties, though, there’s not much that’s different than with normal friendships - he’s still caring, he’s still kind, he’s still your friend.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He doesn’t mind it when you snuggle up to him. Usually he just keeps an arm loosely around your shoulders and rests his chin atop your head.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He’s used to a little bit of cooking and cleaning, but his mother and sisters typically handled that part of the chores. He’s still learning, but he’s improving every day. He’s unsure of if he wants to settle down, considering his age and status as a slayer.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

He would seek you out for a private conversation, and despite breaking it off he would do his best to reassure you that it’s nothing that you’ve done and that you aren’t at fault. It would kill him inside to hurt you, but in the end he tries to remain friends.

F = Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He’s pretty iffy on tying the knot - especially when you’re both slayers. The motto of the Corps may as well be “Lift fast, die young” judging by how many are killed by Kizuki every year. Once your biggest threats are gone, he would consider asking you to marry him.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Tanjiro tries his best to be very gentle in both aspects. He rarely raises his voice at you, and he tries his best to solve misunderstandings before they become an issue. He would never raise a hand against you either - he would hate himself if he ever became abusive.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He loves hugs, especially from those he loves. Typically he initiates them, but will hug back just as strongly as the other person. He’s warm and sturdy.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Once he realizes he likes you, and once he’s pretty certain you return his feelings, he tests the waters by mentioning it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He doesn’t get jealous easily. He knows he trusts you, and that you trust him, and that’s enough.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He kisses people on the forehead, sometimes out of reflex. Soft and sweet, whenever he kisses you, it’s chaste and full of affection.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

His kind, enthusiastic nature makes him a hit with kids. They adore him, and he loves them - you’d be jealous if it wasn’t adorable to see them play together.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He usually gets up early and makes breakfast for your group. He tries to let you sleep in, but eventually the hustle and bustle of your teammates will force you up and you eat breakfast together. He offers you the first chance to bathe and will bathe himself once everyone else has had a chance.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

You try to help him with dinner, but he’s content to do things himself (or with Nezuko if she wants to help). Once you’ve all eaten and bathed and you’re comfy in your futons, he’ll sit back with a smile as your group chats about the day and what the plan is for the morning. He’s often the last one asleep, having exhausted topics to discuss with you before you both drift off.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He has the patience of a saint. He has to, for someone who’s dealt with Inosuke as long as he has. Tanjiro is slow to anger, but when he does get angry, it’s not the explosive rage you’d first expected. It’s almost like he’s a disappointed father when he’s cross with his friends. Demons, on the other hand...

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers what he can of what you tell him. He certainly tries to make every birthday special, and he knows the things you like well enough that he could buy you a trinket and it would most likely be something you love immediately.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

The moment he realized he loved you for the first time. It was on a night when you were in a tricky battle, and you protected his sister from a demon to the point where your arms looked like they’d gone through a grater. Your face was black and blue from hits, yet you kept fighting until the demon was dead. You had never seemed more beautiful than in that moment, when you asked Nezuko if she was alright and offered to give her a piggyback ride to the inn so that she could rest and let her wounds heal.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Protective to the max. He won’t hesitate to back you up in a fight, and there have been multiple incidents where you’ve had to patch him up after he takes a hit meant for you. He appreciates that you’ve both got each other’s backs and that you’re willing to help him out where he needs it.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He puts a lot of thought and planning behind everything he does with you. Gifts are carefully selected from what he knows you like. Dates are to places he knows you’re comfortable. He picks up the chores you dislike doing. Everything he does for you is out of selflessness.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He can be a bit clueless in certain matters, especially romance. Given that he never had to worry about that in his old life (and he was young), it takes a few strong hints on your end (and some annoyance from Zenitsu) before he finally picks up on it. There was one instance before you started dating where you had to drag him away from a girl because he didn’t get that she was flirting with him (he still laughs at himself for not realizing, once you explained to him what was happening).

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He takes care to look neat, but he’s not overly vain - he’s more focused on doing his job rather than staring into a mirror.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

To be honest, I don’t think so. He has friends and a sister that fill his life with happiness, as well as a mentor that cares for him like a grandson. Had you not come into his life, there wouldn’t be a you-shaped hole to fill. As cold as that sounds, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for you now.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

He once knocked out a demon just by butting heads. He knows the true power of his forehead and only chooses to use it for good.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Someone who’s overly negative to the point where they drag the mood of the entire group down with them. While he’s not an “overly-positive to the point of delusion” guy, he isn’t cynical either - and having a romantic partner that does nothing but point out the cons of everything would get old very quick.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Sleeps quite soundly and snores quietly. Unless he smells something really strong and wakes up because of it, he’s a healthy sleeper.

sO I played this game when I was like 8-9-10 y/o. I met the saga through The Lost Frontier lmao but my English was very bad so I couldn't play much of the game and sent my dad to change it. iirc, the game he came back with was Jak X, if not then I got it another time I went to the store and said "surprise me".

since I had tried googling about TLF to help me pass the game, I got familiarized with the rest of the games as well. I had a (very) vague idea of the story through amvs and fanmade content. so then I got to play the game, the story was much shorter cuz it was only one game, and the playing mechanics were basically Mario kart (which I had played a lot previously) so I had a way easier time understanding things. I guess that made me closer to this game in particular. Also I asked the store for the main trilogy but they could never get them.

Plus I actually replayed it a dozen times cause of the fucking save file corruption bug, it was years of frustration cause I could never reach the end of the game without losing my progress. I eventually got a second memory card and tried again, this time with a strategy of cloning the save on each card. But by that time I had already watched the cutscenes on YouTube cause I genuinely thought I could never do it on my own. Still, getting to finish the game was like a life goal being achieved

NOW since I was a small kid I haTED Mizo's crew with a passion cause they were evil bad guys and that was all I could see. I had a special hate spot for Razer and UR-86. And the fact that I couldn't beat the game felt like they were winning against me and I was failing to save Jak's team from the poison. But then puberty hit and I admitted to myself that I had a crush on Razer LMAO and I became Mizo's crew #1 fanboy. Before I realized I was thinking of backstories, headcanons, ships, self inserting myself on the team or as their rival who ends up warming up to them

I got to play the other games when I was 15 (it was around this time that I got to beat Jak x too) and that made me appreciate X even more because they really didn't need to go THAT HARD yet they did!!! and I'm so glad!!!! It gave us more time with Jak + a different side to him, a lot of depth in world building, character development for Keira (I had very protective parents so I feel her) AND THEY FINALLY KISSED OMG TOOK YOU BOTH DUMMIES LONG ENOUGH + that plot wist with GT and then the Rayn one at the very end holy shit

now a lil on my love for the baddies: we get literally zero stuff from them except for Mizo's daddy issues and Razer's sassyness so this part is mostly me going full delulu. Most of my attention at first was on Razer obviously and I always love/hated him, I feel like I wouldn't stand him but God he's so cool. Then one day I randomly started adoring Shiv?? I just thought he'd be such a chill guy and started picturing us as besties??? Edge I feel would be Shiv's kinda close friend, we see them together most of the time they have in X after all. And then Cutter's the most reserved one, I picture him being actually really sweet but you Have To Get There.

Sanemi - …it’s Sanemi 😂 He doesn’t like her a lot, Kaori isn’t a fan of him, but neither hate each other, she’s friends with Genya though, so that’s a thing

Giyū - Kaori wants to talk with him, even though he doesn’t, she tries to, but eventually gives him space, he does enjoy her company though

Muichiro - Kaori respects him, she finds it fascinating he is so young and strong, she does feel bad for him and thinks he should be living like a kid instead of a slayer

Kyōjurō - Her boyfriend/husband, she loves him deeply, but when they met, they hit it off right away because both have very extroverted personalities, she also loves Senjuro like a little brother

Obanai - Obanai doesn’t like her, he always tries to stay away from her and makes very clear he doesn’t like her, but his snake, Kaburamaru, likes her

Mitsuri - These two are the definition of girl besties, they are basically the same person in different bodies and they love each other like sisters, they love to train together and also eat together (obviously), they hang out all the time and they ever have any tea or problems, they go right to each other

Tengen - They are really close as well, it took a while for them to warm up to each other, since Tengen gave off a bad impression to Kaori the first time they met, but then became really tight, they like to train together, but also fool around with gymnastic/cheer stunts since she is really flexible and has good balance while he has the muscle and strength to throw her

Shinobu - Kaori doesn’t know how she feels about Shinobu, she is a great hashira yes, but she also sees her bully Giyū and it kinda makes her feel bad for him, but all and all, she doesn’t think she means any harm, so they’re cool

Holly is the perfect prefect. The golden child. She would kill herself if she got 98% on a test. But then she burnt out. She was leftover. She pushes and pushes herself harder and harder- she falls lower and lower.

Honey noticed this and tries to help, but Holly's aggressive, like a homeless, scarred puppy. She eventually caves after her all out low in the dumpster. Honey protected her, encouraged her, everything- to try and help her, trying to help someone who tried and failed as someone who tried to never try at anything.

Berry also took pity on her and helped too (mainly with terrible jokes which holly usually appreciated) {he's just. a fun little guy. a. a little guy. leave me alone.}

Holly eventually became a warrior maybe around the time Jay became a medicine cat (because she failed a couple assessments)

this post is a couple weeks late because the research took longer than normal for some reason, so i’m typing it all out on the same day im researching for the next post so you’ll probably see that tomorrow if not next week. a lot of the information for this post comes from this website, and cross referenced with my usual favorites (britannica especially) and Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow because i hate myself. but i love @thereallvrb0y so its fine

Margarita Schuyler Van Rensselaer

Margarita Schuyler was born on September 24, 1758 in Albany, and was referred to as Meggy or Peggy, but I’ll be calling her Peggy because that is how she is widely known. She was the THIRD OF ELEVEN children to General Philip Schuyler and Catharine Van Rensselaer Schuyler, which is why I am refusing to do all the Schuyler kids (don’t love you that much, richie /j). She was closest with her sisters Angelica and Elizabeth (who I will refer to as Betsey). She was known for being smart, beautiful, witty, and fiesty.

On August 7, 1781, the Schuyler home was threatened by a Tory mob. There’s this one story that when they sieged upon the house, Peggy came out of hiding to get her younger sister Catherine who was just fucking abandoned, and they threw a tomahawk at her which sliced her gown and was embedded in the staircase. That didn’t happen, Catherine made it up because she didn’t like Indigenous people (probably).

Peggy married Stephen Van Rensselaer III when he was 19 and she was 25. At this time, men were shamed for their mommy kinks, and Stephen’s dad was disappointed that he married an older woman, so they eloped. They would go on to have three children, one of which would survive to adulthood, Stephen Van Rensselaer IV.

More about Stephen, his mom was a Livingston (these three families constantly married each other it was lowkey highkey weird) and his dad was the ninth patroon of Rensselaerwyck which means he was a really really rich dude who owned a big ass piece of land. Stephen was entitled to assume responsibility as lord of Van Rensselaer Manor when he turned 21. 

The Schuylers were wealthy, Dutch American, landowning families in New York. Peggy and Stephen’s parents were third generation immigrants, and it was likely that Dutch was a common family language. They all belonged to the Dutch Reformed Church in Albany, New York.

Peggy was unfortunately affected by an illness in 1799, and died on March 14, 1801. She was really close with Alexander Hamilton, and was with her when she died. 

“On Saturday, my dear Eliza, your sister took leave of her sufferings and friends, I trust to find repose and happiness in a better country.” -Alexander Hamilton to Elizabeth Hamilton

She was initially buried in the family plot at the Van Rensselaer estate, and was later reinterred at Albany Rural Cemetery.

Angelica Schuyler Church

Angelica Schuyler was born on February 20, 1756, and Ron Chernow shat himself. She was described as educated, intelligent, attractive, and more sociable than Betsey because that is a character trait apparently (solid notes, Henry). She was the eldest daughter so she totally had some kind of complex going on.

She eloped with John Church in 1777 before Alexander Hamilton had time to get into her pants. She was afraid her father wouldn’t approve of Church because he was suspicious as fuck. He came to America to avoid bankruptcy, and was secretly (and suspiciously) supplying the French and American armies, and eventually became Washington’s Commissary General, which is slay, but like you didn’t need to be that suspicious. 

Angelica left for Europe in 1783 with her family and didn’t return until 1797 (once again before Hamilton could engage in Amorous Congress with her). She held frequent parties, and was an absolute bad bitch in European social circles. For example, between 1783 and 1785, John was a US envoy to the French government, and Angelica became besties with Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson (she kinda bullied him but besties nonetheless) and the Marquis de Lafayette. Also, Jefferson’s daughter attended the same school as Angelica’s daughter, and I think that’s cool. 

In 1785, she made a visit to New York, but again, left before Hamilton could make whoopee with her. She also went to Washington’s inauguration in 1789, but I don’t know if that was the same or a different trip.

She moved to London after that and became friends with the fucking royal family, specifically the Prince of Wales. Also, Church was elected to serve on the British Parliament in 1790, but this isn’t about him. 

She was reunited with her family in New York in 1797 and that was cool. The US wasn’t able to pay Church back for his efforts during the war which is homophobic so they gave him 100,000 acres of land in Western NY (Genesee and Allegany counties) in order to retain their status as allies. They laid out a town with designs reminiscent of Paris, and their son Philip named it after Angelica. The layout is still the same which is really cool!

FINE I’LL TALK ABOUT HER AND HAMILTON.

So Angelica was very close with her brother-in-law Bitchbaby Ham a ton. She told Betsey she loved Hamilton “very much, and if you were as generous as the old Romans, you would lend him to me for a little while.”

Did they have an affair? Was Hamilton the little slutty man that Angelica makes him out to be in the first quote?

No. *roll credits*

Okay, I’m gonna say this once and never again (jk I probably will), but the idea that they had an affair is bullshit (in my opinion, this is all my opinion, my educated opinion, but my opinion nonetheless). There is like. more proof that they didn’t have an affair than that they did. 

The biggest “evidence” there is for the relationship is the flirtatious comments they made in their letters to one another. I think there’s two reasonable explanations to this than just assuming they were fucking or in love: they were joking, or they were just being affectionate. Angelica refers to Hamilton as “brother” in literally every letter we have from her to him, and the two of them, along with Angelica’s sister and Hamilton’s wife, Betsey, had extremely affectionate relationships. The affection in the second quote is a great example of how they all talked to each other. 

Now for the actual flirtatious comments, you can tell they are joking. Like in all the examples, they have a lighthearted, joking tone, that doesn’t really come across as actual flirting. 

Okay, but let’s say you’re insistent that they were actually flirting. It still doesn’t make sense. Angelica loved her husband (she had to to stay with that fuckhead for that long), and Hamilton was working constantly to balance his job, his family, and the other affair SLFHSKJFH Additionally, they were apart for a large part of their lives, and honestly, I don’t think there would have been any kind of opportunity for romantic feelings to grow between them. 

Also, I’m just going to say it, most of the people who argue for this (historians mostly) are homophobic and misogynistic. First of all, if you assume that a man and a woman are automatically romantically or sexually involved because they have an affectionate relationship and make flirtatious jokes, it gives thinking that women are inherently unable to form platonic relationships with men. Especially if you think that same sex friends can make flirtatious jokes and not be in a romantic/sexual relationship, but it’s impossible for opposite sex friendships (that’s also pretty homophobic).

But most of the homophobia comes from the people who will die on the hill that Angelica and Hamilton had a romantic and/or sexual relationship, but refuse to accept the idea that Hamilton and Laurens had feelings for each other. Their letters displayed legitimate jealousy and anger over each others’ marriages, which doesn’t exist with Hamilton and Angelica. Their letters lack the flirtatious humor, but contain legitimate evidence of a romantic relationship. The logic that backs up Hamilton and Angelica’s “relationship” provides basically double the amount of evidence for Hamilton and Laurens’ relationship.

Anyway... she died on March 13, 1814.

Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton

Elizabeth Schuyler was born on August 9, 1757 in Albany. She was called Eliza or Betsey. Hamilton called her Eliza later in life, but before that he called her Betsey.

She stayed with her aunt in Morristown, New Jersey in 1780 where she met Alexander Hamilton, who was serving as Washington’s aide-de-camp at headquarters which had been set up there for the winter encampment. Their relationship grew quickly, even after he left a month after she arrived. They became officially engaged in early April with her father’s blessing. This was very important to General Schuyler, because his two other daughters had eloped and he was starting to get sad. 

They were married on December 14, 1780 at the Schuyler Mansion in Albany. The only person to attend the wedding on Hamilton’s side, James McHenry, a fellow aide-de-camp, wrote them a cute little poem that i don’t feel like looking for, but it definitely exists. 

They moved around a lot during the early part of their marriage, but settled in New York City in late 1783. They had an active social life, and became well known. Betsey was very important to Hamilton, helping him often with his work, but had the biggest impact on his domestic life. His traumatic past caused him to really not have much of a comfortable, safe space to come home to, and he often thought of a familial environment (ie Washington’s staff) almost like he was being coddled. Until he married her ofc. She helped him mature and move past, what I call, his “I hate Dad” phase. More on that later, but he had a major change in personality after she met him.

Then there was the uh... the affair. I’ll go into more detail about Maria Reynolds in Hamilton’s post, but I’ll talk a little about what we know of Betsey’s experience. She didn’t believe the rumors at first, until Hamilton owned up to it. It put a strain on the relationship for a little while, but they eventually reconciled. That’s all we know pretty much. 

Then he died. Whoops!

This is when Betsey turned on the girlboss and kicked absolute fucking ass. She became a co-founder of the Society for the relief of poor widows with small children. She became the co-founder of the Orphan Asylum Society, of which she was appointed second directress, then first directress in 1821 and served for 27 years until she left New York in 1848.

She was required to pay substantial debts after Hamilton’s death, and sold her 35 acre estate in upper Manhattan, and was later able to buy it back because executors decided she couldn’t be publicly dispossessed. She sold it again and moved into a townhouse owned by her son, the Hamilton-Holly House. She lived there for 9 years with her kids. She left for Washington DC in 1848 where she lived until 1854 with her daughter.

She, along with her children, remained dedicated to preserving Hamilton’s legacy. She re-organized all of his letters, papers, and writing with John, C. Hamilton, and ensured his biography was published. She also helped Dolly Madison raise money for the Washington Monument. 

She died in Washington DC on November 9, 1854. She was buried by her husband and son in Trinity Church.

How about beloved Ryder!

Oh, I'm always ready to talk about my black sheep of the family <3 Since I saw no number, I'll just do all of them, so this is probably going to be super long. I'll set a cut somewhere.

01. Full name:

Ryder's full name is Gilbert von Scharfenberg. He hates his real name for a good reason: his family – wealthy pure German Corpo blood. Basically no one knows that he's a Scharfenberg either – except for Vijay, because he was the one who deleted all of Ryder's data soon after he left his old life behind. So, basically if you scan him it would only show 'Ryder' and nothing else (I still write it out here on tblr completely bc it sounds so damn good <3). As soon as the family moved to the NUSA, Ry started calling himself 'Ryder' using it as his nickname from now on. It comes from the German surname 'Reiter' (rider, horseman), which was his first love's surname (who sadly died, getting shot by a Cyberpsycho during a rave in a club in Berlin).

02. Best friend:

Ryder's bestie is Vijay Steyr. They know each other since 2071. Vijay is the guy who helped Ryder out of his old life (mentioned above). They didn't met in person back then but their paths crossed a while later again: they ran into each other at a Depeche Mode party, talked, became buddies, then also lovers shortly after. The relationship lasted about a year and they parted for reasons everyone understood and accepted. Ryder rarely saw V the following year, because he needed a bit time and was busy with his own life/job, but Vijay eventually began to contact him again in 2074 when he got into buisness with Jackie doing merc jobs. They needed someone on the front and Ryder was the best guy Vijay could think of since he has mantis blades and a good know how about Militech and Corpo things as well. After Jackie died on a secret job neither V nor Ry knew about, the bond between the two got stronger again and today (2077/78) they are best friends. If you listen to their talking you could also say they sound like an old married couple. Ryder would protect V with his own life and it's vice versa. Vijay was there for him in his worst times, helped him to settle into his new 'street kid' life and most of all: pep talked Ry all the time tearing that wall down he had built up for years. Vijay is defnitely the reason why Ryder feels content with himself and smiles so often now.

03. Sexuality:

Ryder is openly gay. He doesn't look a lot like one in the first place, but he is. He's always been gay because he never had any sexual interest in women since he can think. Only the opposite gender doesn't seem to notice and he had to refuse a lot of times giving him a hard time to express it in words. He also feels kinda awkward when a woman shows a bit more affection towards him than the usual (he's better with friends after a while), so forgive him for behaving like a douchebag. Sadly he couldn't live out his sexuality for many years because of his family. But since he got away he was finally free to do what he wanted. He's no go-getter though. It's the contrary – he's too shy to make the first move. And that's probably why he's been single a long while as well after the relationship with V (who's the go-getter ofc).

04. Favorite color:

Ryder loves black. He knows there are people who don't accept black as a color. For that phrase he's got another answer: purple and green. Besides black, it's these colors he loves (he just won't wear anything purple nor green). Purple like amethysts he collects and (dark) green like the mysterious German forests he misses a lot.

05. Relationship status:

Ryder is off the single market. After I created him back in Sep 2022, I already had Vijay flirting with @nervouswizardcycle's Arki (<3), so my original idea of V and Ry together couldn't last and was made into a backstory part instead since I still like that ship that formed in my head when Ryder was only an idea. However, I couldn't imagine him with any official npc and looking for some possible other oc over here didn't bring me much further, and also with no one making a real move either (I waited for it like Ryder would do), I decided just a few weeks back that my boy shouldn't be lonely for so long. It made me sad having to look at him knowing his profile still said 'single', so I sat down and created another oc for him: So, yes! His love interest is Thyjs De Wit.

06. Ideal mate:

Ryder's ideal mate is @nervouswizardcycle's Arki. Arki turns out to be his best gay buddy. There's just ideas existing right now but I'm loving it! The two literally don't like each other at first — well it's more Ryder who has a grudge against Arki, but he will find out soon enough that the two are much alike in many things I don't wanna name now bc it could be possible spoilers for some future fanfiction. However, Arki will be a good mate for Ryder: giving tips in training for battle, trying to control his anger, but also the guy to go shopping with (bc Arki is fashionista, baby!). And the two may have many evenings where they get drunk, laughing over stupid anti-jokes (where V just shakes his head and Thyjs also doesn't find it laughable) and watching a shit ton of anime if they don't do stupid stuff in the city. They are both Scorpios and this is a certain vibe you can't turn off easily once they come together.

07. Turn-ons:

Bottom lip biting. It seriously turns Ryder on when you go from casual busses to biting down onto his bottom lip. He sees that as an invitation to get more passionated. Hard lollipops. The meaty kind. He likes a man's best piece a lot. Especially when they have a beautiful shape and tint. Loud, hard rave beats. Eespecially when it has some naughty lyrics it kind of turns him on. If the right person is with him, this may be a chance for making out on the dancefloor, vanishing into a darkroom or just go somewhere else to get dirty.

08. Favorite food:

Pistachio ice cream. In generall he loves pistachios: salted or not, in combination with chocolate, ice cream – everything pistachio – give it to him. You'll make him be a happy pistachio.

09. Crushes:

Thjys De Wit. He's going to crush on him the first time he meets that Dutch pale soldier boy — Thyjs literally zapped him. There's a lot of pining from Ryder's side. Vijay, however will notice and tries to encourage him to make the first move since Thyjs is not a go-getter either (and has to cope with his own feelings for Ry as well at first). It's gonna be interesting. Don't wanna tell too much, though.

10. Favorite music:

Ryder is a true Raver. <3 He lives for hard and dark techno beats. There's nothing better than that ever enduring repeating bass under his feat. It keeps him going, helps him to vent off his never ending anger for a while, keeps the beast within at bay, while he moves to those amazing loud eletronic beats combined with unreal but also beautiful accompaning melodies. Ryder also listens to Industrial and New (German) Wave.

11. Biggest fear:

His biggest is facing his superior again. He fears nothing more than is father: Wilhelm von Scharfenberg — now CEO of Militech HQ in Night City. There is another one: He's afraid of losing control over the beast within him completely, hurting those close to him. He doesn't know where it came from, it was there one day, accompanying him ever since. It lusts for blood mostly so the chance it takes over in a heavy fight during a job is pretty high. Once he's in a killstreak for too long, he's unable to stop and literally goes berserk. Therfore he has asked his best friend Vijay to take control and stop him if the situation gets tricky. He's got a special mod installed that allows Vijay to hack into Ryder's Berserk Operating System making him able to reset it since the beast seems to feed heavily from this system. Ryder's Mantis Blades will receive an order to retract and he gets unconscious for a short amount of time to make sure he's gonna be stopped. If that case happens and the situation is tricky, someone must be right there to protect Ryder for that time since he will be unable to defend himself. Before every job V double checks the mod and renews the codes to make sure everything works. Ryder isn't exactly proud to always leave a mess of blood puddles, organs and dead bodies behind. It scares him as well since it has gotten worser over time. It's his greatest wish that the beast within vanishes one day the same way like it showed up.

12. Biggest fantasy:

To fly to the moon. Ryder loves space and the universe since he was a small boy. He dreamed to be a space pilot one day, flying people or cargo to the moon. He would love to walk on it as well, feel the lack of gravitiy when he jumps. The moon is very fascinating to him. He's amazed by the surface, all the pattern the craters made, the grey tones. And he very much would love to see how earth looks seen from up there. If you suspected something sexual instead: To have hot, dirty, greasy sex in a tank. Specifially in a retro WWII model.

13. Bad habits:

Ryder has a obsessive-compulsive disorder. He sees himself forced to align everything neatly and symmetrically. He will do it all the time: at home, during shopping, sitting at the table in the Afterlife, aligning billard balls in the Coyjote Cojo, staple Vijay's vinyls in his apartment (he even tidies up V's apartment at times bc Vijay is a bit chaotic). His own apartment is clean and simple, every bottle in the shelf faces with the ettiket, books are placed ordely and even pillows on his bed sit how they should and so on. Besides that Ry is still super fidgety. He can't sit still. It mainly has to do with background music everywhere, so he's bobbing e.g. his leg all the time. But he also constantly needs to play around with something in his hands. He can't sit still longer than five minutes and then repositions. The only times he's not fidgety is when he's sleepy or in fact sleeping. Once he falls asleep he likely won't turn around much and stay in the position he feell asleep in.

14. Biggest regret:

The missed oportunity to run away earlier. His decicion to leave his Corpo life happend when he was already 21. If he had left earlier, he would probably live in Italy now together with Tommy Reiter, his first love, who would probably still be alive as well. Tommy wanted to go away with him, but Ryder was too scared to do it back then, still being a teen.

15. Best kept secrets:

That he's Corpo – a von Scharfenberg. As already mentioned, only Vijay knows about that. Ryder did literally everything for not looking like a Corpo anymore: changed visually completely with adding cyberware, new eyes, getting tattoos including scarifications (to cover own scars), changed his hairstlye, grew a messy beard, trained like a mad-man to gain some muscles for not having to watch the thin useless Corpo boy in the mirror he once was. Starting the life of a so called street kid. His Corpo attitude sadly comes trough at times (and can be extremely helpful for some missions as well). In some cases he sees himself on the high horse thinking he's better than anyone else (but Vijay reminds him of that).

16. Last thought:

Maybe 'Bitte ein Bit'? Idk man, but I have the feeling that Ryder's last thought ever will definitely have something to do with beer.

17. Worst romantic experience:

When he decided to try out bottoming for once in his life. It was a good experience at first but it ended with something unexpected: receiving an exceptionally good fuck that caused him to feel like a supernova seeing stars all over brought some negative connotaion with it: he entirely lost control over his body making him have his mantis blades spring out ready for action. Nobody died though, but it was Vijay who topped him and V has a huge trauma concerning blades … So once both finally relized what actually happened, Vijay got off and fell into a shock he was unable to explain to him. And Ryder ofc was shocked by the thought that he can lose control that hard by just getting railed (the beast within was just evolving and a minor problem btw). The situation could have turned out much worse that night. And this situation is also the cause for their break-up in the end, with both really feeling bad about it: Vijay because he wasn't able to tell him why and Ryder for losing control that hard in such a situation. Since then Ryder never bottomed again, because he can't allow himself to let it happen again.

18. Biggest insecurity:

Ryder has had a lot of insecurities — still has. His biggest besides him not being able to live up to his father's Corpo ideals is probably that he (still) feels he is/was not good enough for anything or anybody. This situation started early in his childhood and reached the worst high as soon as he had to start working at Militech unable to do anything right (he hated this work and it wasn't what he wanted to do), nonetheless he tried hard to make his superior satisfied, but it was quite the contrary in the end. He was treated by his family like ballast they had to carry through, got bullied by co-workers and therefore fell into a huge hole of depression. It took him a long time (and quiet a lot of Vijay's patience) to accept that he's good enough in what he does. Vijay told Ryder more than once, that he is valued, that he is thankfull for Ry's support, and that people appreciate him and that he is a good person. He still does and it is impotant to reward Ryder constantly with nice and cheering words otherwise he's prone to worry about it again. Ryder still has a lot of trust issues towards new people to this day.

Vijay of course. Ryder looks up a lot to his best friend. He wishes he could be more like him. Capable of leading, always having an answer to everything, understand the realm of netrunning, his entire positive character and warm personality, looking forward and not back, the ability to stay friendly towards literally everyone (Vijay is good in hiding his disgust for someone if he want's to, but most of the time he lets people know when he doesn't like them).

jad a dream that my family was visiting some location abroad. it wasn't a place I'd gone to before and it didn't have a lot of stuff I was interested in. there was a big hill with mountains behind the hotel, and I think we were staying in room 450 or 455? anyway I ended up spending a lot of time tryiny to cling the mountain cliffs. there was genshn puzzles up there.

the sun started setting quickly and I had to rush down so I didn't get stuck up there, and then stopped off at this place for like a cookie sandwich. literally a Choco cookie in between 2 slices of bread.

ran into one of my f ienfs who was passive aggressive about something & I was like ? and then I tried to go back in to the hotel but couldn't find our room. I went into one by accident and the username g the guy who sebt me 137 messages about how much he wanted to die was on one of the beds and I was like oo I shiuls leave.

2: my sister & I were in prague together, but we came home for some reason. a dude i knew in highschool that I remember thinking had a nice face but was kid of a dickhead was revealed now to be nb I think? idk there was them in a fress standing anect to the version of himself I was used to seeing. my sister and I couldn't find where I'd parked

I tbe future wotld it was revealed that girl1 ended up being my wife even though I rhe past I ended up hanging out with guy2 for the entire week that I was supposed to be abroad. there was a part that like shattered the continuum - ttied the guy2 motorcycle .that's when thr future started showing itself to me anf I becamw that middle aged guy.

I sat ubdr a tree texting with my old now young friends, just enjoying bwfore everything had fallen apart, knowing my future would end any time now, but I was also wsitting up in bed with my wife (we hated each other) snd she called for our childreb. there was guy1 _ my "bestie" from highschool, who endd up being happily married the besti vecame dctrmelrlu gorgeous and the guy became bald. and the third kid ended up being a gay scientist whose husband was an astrobaut. and we saw clips of them going about their day that gradually vecame interspersed with moments of darkbwss until it was all dark. and then a flashback, of a kid waking up half on his bike which looked kind of beat up, his face pressed into the asphalt, with a siren ringing behind him.

what's the lore you have for your ocs? are they friends? family? how old are they? what do they do for a living?

Okay so! For starters they're friends, none of them is related with another, they met in different stages of their lives, not that they all just met at the same time

Dan and Sam are childhood besties, and neighbors so they hung around a lot since they were really small and their dads worked at the same place so they knew each other and their families so sometimes in work reunions of stuff the kids went too and played together (cuz damn is it boring to be a kid at ur parents work events with no one your age around, it still is as grown ups but now we get other ways to distract ourselves lol), conner and alex became friends in a school volley team, they already knew each other beforehand cuz they ended up in the same classroom when alex moved into town in six grade but they were kinda meh about each other, not that they hated each other but just kinda indiferent yea? So they became friends bcs of the team after a few disagreements and fights (they went from "i don't care about you lol we just vibin" to not standing each other to be close buddies,,, character development am i rite), Conner and Dan had been classmates since fourth grade when they got put into the same class and started getting along.

Then, since dan and conner were friends but alex and sam didn't really know each other more than any other classmate for a while they were in a "he/she is my friend's friend" and got along well without much interaction till eventually they actually got close and became a friend group

And last but not least Margot! She moved to that school in seventh grade, most people thought she was just mean or stuck up cuz she has a resting bitch face and didnt talk a lot with the rest of the class but the lil group wanted to include her regardless of what other people said about her even tho they also had doubts at first, as in "what if they're right and she's just gonna reject us brutaly" but got rid of that thought and decided it was worth a shot, that started a year long mission of getting her to know them slowly and showing her that they were being honest about wanting her around (she's insecure abt it cuz of reasons) and finally before she could even notice, they forcefully adopted her got her to be a part of their small group of dumbdumbs lol

Shoot i trailed of um anyways they don't really have canon ages cuz usually draw them in whatever age the context requires but I'll probably draw them mostly around 14-15 or 16,,, idk

And they don't really do anything since they're still in school,, but they get lil jobs in their free time if they can, like walking their neighborhood's dogs, helping in local stores, house sitting, pet sitting and baby sitting, etc.. ykno the type of stuff kids are legally allowed to do to get some money lol (at least here, idk how it is in other places)
