Eventually they developed a love for gardening; it might not have been their only hobby but it's their favorite. Vil may not be a fan of getting dirty if it makes his kid happy he's happy! Just don't think he'll join the 2 of you. I heavily believe he could father either gender but I'm thinking a gorgeous little girl.

Rook Hunt-

12 kids, he's raising an entire football(soccer) team. He just can't help it, your pregnant image makes him feel aroused. So you pop out your own little team. You kids are super sneaky, even as babies they were able to sneak up on you. They all are suburb archers and could hit anyone in a 9 mile radius. The football(soccer) reference I made is ironic because I heavily believe your first and last kids both play football. Rook is such a proud dad, his kids could do anything and he's give them the ultimate praise, he never let's them forget how amazing they are. He is a parent that can find any excuse for his prefect children, because they can do no wrong. Except disrespect you, bc as their mother you gave birth to them, gave them life, and do your best to take care of them; so respecting you is no debate. You guys also have a family tradition of archery tag to start off the summer every year.

6 kids, your kids have the most beautiful looks, just absolutely gorgeous. They are also extremely competitive, on the farm when it comes to chores they always try to finish first, and once you and Epel figure it out did you tell them they don't need to rush just to beat someone? Nah you two just decided whoever finishes first gets the most allowance, it may sound bad but it gets work done and those kids now can finish any work in record time!! Your kids are very adventurous and lucky for them dear old dad is always willing to support their curiosity. He never lets his kids doubt themselves, he teaches them to be proud yet not too proud. He is the best father to his kids. I also have a feeling the whole family has a competion around apple picking season, whoever gets the most wins, the prixe changes every year.

2 kids, who are absolutely extroverts, loving talking and hanging out with people, everyone loves them. Idia doesn't know how them became such extroverts but he loves them anyway. He may not like human interaction much but he loves spending time he can with his kids. If there is something him and his kids is there love for video games, every Friday they have tournaments to se who wins. You join in as well; your little family loves these games because you get to be together. How you met

You smooth out your dress in order to make yourself appear as presentable as possible. After all, this was no ordinary occasion; one of your best friends were getting married. With all the on and off breaks the couple have had, you honestly wasn’t sure if they’d make it. But it turns out you were wrong.

You recalled that night when you had just gotten out of the shower and suddenly got a call from your friend. It was a bit hard to hear what she was babbling about over all the estatic noises she made simultaneously.

Telling her to slow down was easier said than done, but eventually she was calm enough to reveal the news. Her boyfriend had proposed that night and she’s said yes! You congratulated on her engagement despite the little shadow of doubt concerning her new fiancée. He wasn’t a bad person per se, however, you found yourself sceptic to how happy their marriage would be.

Perhaps you were a bad friend for not saying anything, but you knew your friend wouldn’t losten to you even if you told her you thought he may not be the one and she was making a mistake. So instead of putting your friendship at unnecessary risk, you chose to keep quiet.

So here you stood at the entrance of the engagement party the couple decided to throw. It was a slightly uncomfortable experience for you since you didn’t really know any of the people attending except for your friend of course. While the two of you were as thick as thieves, she was also part of other friend groups, of which she’d invited.

Bracing yourself for the awkward exchanges of being presented as ‘X’s other friend’, you took a step forward and immediately X noticed you. She hurried to you and gave you a hug, “Oh my god, I’m so glad you could come!” She squealed.

“I’m glad to be here.” You said, smile gracing your features.

“Come, you need to say hi to ‘Y’, he’s just over there.” She dragged you along with her and pointed at a well-dressed man’s back. He stood, conversing with other guests. “Sweetie!”

He turned around to face you. “Yes?”

“Look, (y/n)’s here!”

Her fiancée looked at you and smiled, “Hi, glad to see you make it.” He put a hand on your shoulder.

Ignoring the itch to remove it you said, “happy to make an appearance.”

“So how have you been?” He asked.

“I’ve been fine, not much going on really except for work, you know.”

‘Y’ nodded. “I understand. Big things isn’t for everyone.”

You raised an eyebrow at this. What did he mean by that? That your quiet, uneventful life sucked or something? Like he had so much going on. You scoffed under your breath.

Noticing the tensioning aura, your friend breaks in, “anyway, I’m so excited for you to be my maid of honour!”

“Right, but I should thank you for letting me be something so important.”

“What do you mean? Of course I’d want you to have that role, you’ve always been there for me. That reminds me, you should meet the best man! After all, you two have the most important roles in the wedding- apart from the green and bride, that is.” She chuckled. “Speaking of that man, where is he?” ‘X’ gazed at her fiancée for answers.

“He was here a minute ago, don’t know where he might have run off to- wait- there he is. Hey, man, come over here for a sec!” He waved another man over to your small circle.

The first thing you noticed, was the auburn hair. He, too, was dressed in a fancier manner and had a considerably handsome face. Brown, kind eyes met yours and for some reason you felt a little shy all of a sudden.

“Ah, there he is! My best man.” ‘Y’ praised. “This is Riddle, the guy’s been my pal ever since I can remember. You don’t find a nicer man around.”

Riddle slapped his friends arm, “Knock it off, I’m not that fantastic. Don’t exaggerate.”

“Haha, sure.” He then introduced you. “This is (y/n), ‘X’s maid of honour. You’ll be seeing each other more often from now on, okay.”

Riddle beamed down at you, reaching his hand forward. “Hello, it’s nice to meet you (y/n). I’ve heard some things about you from ‘X’ - only goood things of course.”

He raised an eyebrow when you didn’t say or do anything.

It took a second for your brain to load, and when it finally did, you shook his hand with an embarrassed expression on your face. “Yeah, sure- sorry I kinda spaced out there, hehe.” You apologised for your behaviour. The auburn haired man only laughed slightly.

“Sorry, I don’t mean to laugh, but you’re very cute.”

Redness overtook your features. Cute? You? Wait, he actually thought you were cute? While you flushed, you wondered how he said something like that is easily. If it were you, you’d malfunctioned before you even got a word out.

Seeing this happen before her, ‘X’ couldn’t hold her giggles. Everyone’s attention fell on her.

“Oh my god, I can totally hear the wedding bells already!”

With a flushed face you scoffed, “what’re you?-It’s your wedding this is about so don’t go make up weird stuff.”

“Ooooh, I can see you blushing~”

“No, I’m not.”

“You totally are!”

While ‘X’ continued to poke fun at you, and you trying to fight her off, her fiancée was amused at the scene; none of you saw the way the best man gazed at you.

It was a knowing look, one that said he had all the cards on his deck. People were used to see Riddle constantly wearing an expression displaying his happiness and eagerness to help others, so they would’ve been taken aback at the current unusual expression gracing his features.

You were mad at the assumptions your friend started making, especially in front of the guy himself. You wished you could just tell her to shut it but that would embarrass you further. Still, you had no idea how right she were at the time.

Yandere America who fell in love with a nation reader who's his perfect match/equal. She's as cunning as him, as influencial as him and as powerful as him, with her as his partner he knows that they'll be unstoppable together. The he sees in her is that she doesn't like him, like at all. Because a part of being as inteligent as him, is knowing who he really is. Due to her being his equal match, trying to get her in his usal way doesn't really work because she always has a plan to render his own useless. And her own government is not only aware of her capabilities, but is also extremely nationalistic so bribing them is a no go. So what is a man gotta do to get his girl?

To say you hated America would be an understatement. You loathed this man. You hated that you were equally matched. To be grouped with that man.

You hated how you could clearly see the kind of person America really is and how he blatantly reminds you of yourself no matter how much you'd like to deny it. What pressure for greatness can do to a person, or better, what horrible things you willingly did to achieve it. You won't deny it, you can't get power by having a world peace-giving mindset. There is no unlimited or anything in this world, someone must lose what they have if another is to gain anything.

America takes note of it though. Nothing gets through him. He may seem like a gullible goof to many, but behind the mask he uses, he can be quite calculating.

At first, his interest in you was purely out of conquest. America couldn't stand the thought of someone at the same raking as him. You were a threat. What if you teamed up with his greater enemies like Russia or Germany? He couldn't have that. America needed to take you down now before anything like that could happen.

You guys will go at it for years. Always trying to one-up the other in your own versions of the Cold War. Your ideologies, economics, and even preferences will debated and compared to America's. The two of you will be at each other's throats whenever possible. Often having to be pulled apart from each other during meetings.

However, over time, he got to see just who are and saw right through you. You're just like him. Someone who has to hide their true selves. The pain of it all. The pain of knowing who you really are. The constant fear.

He was in love. Finally, there was someone who could understand him. Truly understand who he really was. America never felt so exposed yet free before. It was addicting. And he wanted more.

No matter how many times you rejected him too, America always seemed to come around again. Always blabbering about how the two of you should join together and become the strongest alliance in the world. (Much to everyone's fears to mention). He does this all while his eyes glint in his eyes. It never fails to send a shiver down your spine, but you stay strong and try to seem unfazed.

America was painfully aware of the fact that he couldn't just take over your country like he could with nearly anyone else. If shady trade deals or political marriage is a go, then he'll just have to try the backway.

Anyone should know that brutality is only a display of power; A cover. True strength is the power to band the majority together under a common goal or interest.

America has already done it before, but he'll begin to spread more lies or just expose your true nature to others. This, in turn, will begin to spread seeds of doubt and fear of you in others. Hesitation will begin to build up in those around you as you try to make deals. Even Russia seems to second-guess himself before making decisions that involve you.

From there, America only has to wait.

History repeats itself. As everyone knows. It will only be a matter of time before another war or economic crisis erupts. Except this time, no one will be there to help you. You'll be exposed and alone. Forced into the hand of your greatest enemy. Much to his glee.

Smoky says that he thinks of Nameless Road as a family and is willing to take care of them, so why not spend your dates there? Of course he scrounges up lunch for everybody but especially for you two.

He was kind of scared that he could get you sick with what he had so he tried not to do it with you, until he couldn't. You guys had been frustrated over a minor thing that he was trying to fix and you both took your frustrations out on each other, sexually. He was soft when trying to do it because he never wants to hurt you.

Arguments are rare. He always shuts the arguments down by being thoughtful and thinking about it.

You guys actually had your first time while you were stargazing. One thing led to another and you were ontop of Takeshi under the stars. You guys were slightly drunk. Lala may have accidentally saw y'all but she silently cheered you on.

They only really happen when he doesn't tell you whats going on. He tries to bypass it by telling you everything is okay and asking you how your day is but it ends in arguments because he'll lie. He goes to Smoky when he doesn't know what to do.

He isn't around that much and when he is, arguments are rare. He usually spends his time cuddling and/or snuggling with you until the others need him. He loves you too much.

Just what did he *do* to them?

So, as The Organization's dastardly plan has been enacted, we've learned that there's a kill list that they're checking off, exceptional individuals who have been targeted for death -- and reconstruction as will-free fighters.

The S-Class heroes, Garou, and a few others, have each had a Machine God sent to kill them and take their corpses back to HQ for treatment.

One Machine God. No back up plan, apparently.

So far the exception has been Dr. Kuseno. Kuseno may only have been No. 23 on their list, but he's gotten special treatment. THREE Machine Gods got sent to kill him, each at threat level dragon, and they were backed up by seven further powerful robots.

Just as remarkable was what they did. For everyone else, the Machine God will announce itself, explain why it's there, talk shit, and only then attack. The Machine Gods sent for Kuseno stealthily approached late at night, stayed well outside the building perimeter in the forest, and sniped the scientist clean through his centre of mass through the building walls. If the other Machine Gods used that modus operandi, they'd have a lot more success but they're acting as if the others are nice-to-haves.

I can almost imagine the conversation that must have happened behind the scenes:

Machine God 'Body': I alone will be enough for one shitty old man and his ex-human pet. Head of Organization: NO! We absolutely cannot afford slip-ups. Take two more guys, and make sure you play together nicely. Also, take this backup squadron in case that old weasel tries to make a run for it.

Why? Thinking of three possibilities.

They really, really, really hate Kuseno.

They think that Genos and Kuseno are an extraordinary threat.

They think that Kuseno is a special resource that they must acquire at all cost.

Let's take them in turn. None of them are mutually exclusive.

Number 1 is very possible! Let's call it The 100 Cyborgs Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Hate You theory. I would not be surprised to see some very unwelcome revelations when/if Genos finally gets to The Organization.

Number 2 seems the least likely. Given how much store the Machine Gods -- and indeed the rest of the guys associated with The Organization -- place on ranking as evidence of strength, they're not likely to make much of Genos's strength. Unless they know that his type of strength is a special problem for them. But then, why are they not chasing Drive Knight with the same ardour?

Number 3 is very interesting indeed. If Kuseno knows something or has skills they cannot do without, then given that they can revive people as semi-automatons with no willpower, this is the best way to get their hands on it.

But wouldn't this risk damaging Drive Knight's anti-Bofoi plan?* That is if Drive Knight is in cahoots with them.

I thought about it some more. Not really. If the squad was able to kill Genos, then it'd mean that he was never strong enough to take on Bofoi's forces, and they'd be rid of a troublesome S-Class hero. And if they weren't, Genos would blame Bofoi for the attack, and then they're rid of two troublesome S-Class heroes. It's a win-win however they look at it.

Set an elephant to get rid of an elephant, as Zombieman would say.

So far, it's all going according to keikaku, which means plan.

The only questions now are, do they dig up Kuseno's body, and how do they get away with this?

*I'm still open to giving Drive Knight the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, it's really not looking good at all.

I remember you criticizing Felix for his C support with Dedue, and I disagreed with you because when I saw videos from it on YouTube, I mainly saw the part of how Dedue was fine with killing elderly and children if Dimitri ordered it.

But I got the game recently (currently playing Blue Lions) and while I still think Felix was right to be pissed for Dedue saying he would be fine killing innocents, Felix also called him dog first, not even after asking him why he is being loyal, literally it's the first thing he call him, which is not okay 😭.

Also, I doubt Felix doesn't know why Dedue is loyal to Dimitri, though it may be the game who screwed up on that, Dimitri started calling Dimitri "boar" because of the western rebellion, however, Dedue had been with Dimitri for two years already when the rebellion happened, so Felix would already have known, before his falling out with Dimitri, that Dimitri saved Dedue's life, so his hostility to Dedue for being loyal to Dimitri (that specifically, not the killing innocents) is really shitty.

I truly love Felix, he's one of my favorite characters because of how he grows up and changes from start to finish. I think part of why he felt so empty in three hopes was because we sped through his arc. The game assumed that everyone already played three houses and didn't have/want to rehash the same arc as last time but.... where's my progression... my growth... 🥺 what do you mean he's just mature now. Where's his Zuko redemption arc??

And yes, I understand his anger and grief and frustration. Losing your brother and seeing your best friend murder a guy at 15 is traumatic, it makes sense why he's coping the way he is. But his anger doesn't excuse him being racist T_T Felix is allowed to be critical or resent Dedue, I think he see Dedue as enabling Dimitri's "boar side." Which is a valid concern, just... there was no need to call Dedue a dog.

But like Ingrid, everyone has shitty takes at 17 it should not define you forever. Yes, Felix (and Ingrid) has some hurtful and ignorant shit as a teenager but who hasn't. What matters is that they grow from that and do better.

Mabel was usually rather proud of who she was. She didn't pay any mind to the whispers behind her back, nor did she let it get to her when the girls giggled and pointed in her direction. So what? She knew she was a little weird by their standards but she wasn't going to change for anyone(!) - let alone a bunch of mean classmates she wouldn't ever hang out with again after graduation.

Still, when Pacifica Northwest made needling comments regarding her love life and lack of a date to the Homecoming, Mabel may have snapped a teensy bit.

'Actually, I do have a date! And he's great and handsome and even better than your boyfriend, Pacifica!'

Urghhhh, why had she said that? Whyyyy!? She didn't have a date! Or a boyfriend! Heck, she was the furthest thing from having any kind of romantic interest after being rejected twice in the last month.

Not to mention that last comment had definitely shot her in the foot. Pacifica was dating the highschool quarterback in typical cliche fashion, and he was a beautiful hottie wrapped up in like, even more hottiness! How was she meant to top that?

Heck, there was only one guy in the entire school who was on par with that level of attractiveness. Although, he was also kind of a two-faced asshole who scared everyone.

―But hey, the alternative was letting Pacifica win.

'So, wanna go to Homecoming with me?' She offered a toothy smile, putting on her best cutesy look as she gazed upon the sight of Bill Cipher. She'd tracked him down to one of the club rooms as it turned out he was in the forensice science class. The brunette couldn't help but notice how the few others in the room were on the far side keeping their distance.

Bill stared at her with a pensive frown, eyebrows drawn together as he scrutinised her face. She couldn't help noticing his eyebrows were dark but his hair was almost platinum blond - did he dye it? She couldn't see any roots from this distance. This colour definitely made his blue eyes pop though. He'd look dreamy if he smiled but instead the guy was staring at her as if she'd grown a second head.

'Well?' she asked, tilting her head when he said nothing.

After a moment he returned his attention to the slides and forensic scope before him. 'Nah.'

Her expression dropped. Nah?

'Why not?'

'Why yes?' he quipped back without glancing her way. 'I don't even know you-' He cut himself off, casting her another curious frown. 'Right?' He seemed to be asking himself as much as her.

'Um, well not really. We haven't spoken per say-'

'Then nah. Nothing in it for me, ya can go now.' He waved her off dismissively.

Mabel huffed, not one to be easily dissuaded. She wasn't going to rejected three times in a month! 'Well, um, what if I did give you something?'

'Doubt there's anything you have that I want,' Bill drawled. 'No offense. Honestly, that's more a compliment than anything else.'

'Uh, thanks?' she replied, before returning to the topic at hand. 'And look, I'm not asking you out because I like you or anything.' Although he was defintiely attractive. 'But I sorta got myself into a predicamenet aaaand... um, well I kinda need to show up to Homecoming with you as my date to avoid schoolwide embarassment?'

Icy blue eyes wandered in her direction. 'Uh huh, and how is that my problem? Ain't my fault you talked yourself into it with the Northwest chick.'

Oh, so he did know about it? Then again, she had kinda got into it with Pacifica in a rather crowded place and neither girl had been quiet.

'If anything, it should be entertaining for a few minutes,' Bill went on with a shrug. 'Otherwise, I'm hoping the spiked punch and bribed DJ will make this thing a concotion of disaster by the time the night's over.'

She ignored his concerning statements. 'Please? It's just one night! There's no downside to us acting like we're dating for one night.'

'Yes, except the part where people think I'm dating you.'

She gaped. 'Hey, what does that mean? I'll have you know I've been called cute on several occasions!'

'Yeah you're cute,' he replied without missing a beat. 'But that begs the question why you haven't already got a date so there's obviously something up with ya if like me you're going alone. I know I'm messed up in many ways, so what's your issue?'

She flushed, partially because he'd called her cute so easily but also because he'd called her out instantly. It was also annoying that he was clearly enjoying her reaction, although she saw the same pensive look cross his face as he glanced her way.

'...Okay, okay, seriously have we met already? Have you asked me out before? Were you one of the girls I turned down in the first year?'

She opened her mouth to respond when he cut her off with a sudden yell that made her flinch in surprise.

'Wait, wait!' he yelled, looking deleriously excited as he stood up. The other students in the room jumped, looking towards them anxiously. Bill grinned, eyes wide with delight when he jabbed a finger in her direction. 'You're not- Wait, are you related to Pine Tree?'

'Who?'

'Pi- Dipper Pines!'

'Um... yes? He's my twin brother?' Did he know Dipper?

Bill's grin widened, splitting across his entire face. Mabel jumped when he grabbed her by the biceps, suddenly invading her personal space as they stood toe-to-toe. She swallowed, heart skipping a beat from the abrupt turn of events. 'Uhhhh....'

'Tell me, do you and your brother get on? Or is it more a case of you hating one anothers guts?' Bill said, dropping his voice to a whisper as he leaned nearer. Oh, her heart was dancing all over the place. She wasn't used to being up this close and personal with a guy. Wow, he had really good skin up close - did he use product? She should ask him―

'Hey, cm'on, answer me Shooting Star,' he said, raising one hand to flick at the dangly stars hanging from her ears.

'Yeah, we're close,' she replied, finding her voice. 'So what?'

Apparently she'd given him the correct answer because his eyes twinkled in delight. It was startling how different the boy seemed from when she'd first entered.

She was so confused right now. 'Soooooo.... about Homecoming.'

'Hm? Oh yeah, we're totally doing that.' He stepped away. 'Feel free to tell people we're dating right now if ya want.'

'Wait, really?' A pause. 'Is this something to do with me being related to Dipper?'

'Oh definitely, I'm only going out with ya cuz I reckon it'll wind him up.'

Hmmm. Mabel turned that information over in her head. Did that mean he and Dipper didn't get along then? Wasn't surprising, having only spoken to Bill for a couple of minutes she couldt definitely see how the two would butt heads.

....Oh well, she was only doing this for her own reasons that benefitted her so she couldn't really be annoyed at him for doing the same. She'd deal with Dipper and any issues that came from it later.

'Okay, cool!' Great, she'd be able to deal with Homcoming and Pacifica in one swing. Now she just had to decide on her dress. As Mabel was mulling over this new issue and turning to leave, a firm hand grasped her shoulder from behind. She turned her head to peer behind, only to find his face inches from her own as their gazes locked. She felt his lips brush against her own, chest tightening and eyes bulging wide in response.

And then there was a flash and click.

He pulled away with a chuckle, whilst Mabel blinked away the light and stood rooted to the spot. 'What just happened?'

'I'm gonna add you on Facebook so I can tag you in this,' Bill replied back, glancing down at his phone. 'Make sure you accept both, alright?'

Uh.

Wait, huh?

Had they just kissed? They had, right? Their lips definitely connected.

More and more questions bounced around her mind as Mabel finally left the classroom, pulling her phone out of her pocket as it buzzed. She stared at the friend invitation from Bill Cipher.

She was beginning to wonder if she'd gotten more than she bargained for with this. It would be worth it to see the look on Pacifica's face, right?

soooooo. Skullgirls Twitter may or may not be giving hints as to what Marie's story mode entails and I don't see anyone talking about it here so. me, being the guy who loves speculating about shit forever, am going to do it myself

okay so! first, probably most vital thing! the first gameplay clip they ever showed of Marie (by which I mean like four days ago) is just her in the character select screen. nothing too crazy, except. in the character art that pops up when Marie's selected, she does not have her usual skull eyes

now you might think "well this is all extremely early footage that could be a placeholder and they just haven't put the pattern in yet" except someone pointed it out and the official response was

so. from the sounds of it this is intentional. she intentionally does NOT have the skull eyes associated with the Skullgirl, even though she's clearly using the Skullgirl's power. so there's one thing

thing number two! one clip later, and we get this right after

now this could be a tongue-in-cheek joke about exactly how different playable Marie feels from boss Marie - because yeah playable Marie looks absolutely nuts - but considering the skull eyes thing I have my doubts. and it's not like the tweet is wrong - compared to her usual set of minions, the skeletons in playable Marie's moveset are notably more expressive compared to the complete lack of emotion in the boss fight. I mean, everyone's pointed out the ribbon on Laser Skeleton's horn! that's just adorable!

hey speaking of undead minions. this piece of evidence may or may not age well depending on what the next clips show us but do you know who hasn't shown up at all in Marie's moveset thus far? her undead Medici minions. or for that matter the Lamia shadow she summons to blindside you from across the screen whenever she wants you to know your place. neither of those have showed up. meanwhile there HAVE been several moves regarding Marie's previous experience in housekeeping, which isn't exactly NEW for her since in her concept art from way back when there were a bunch of moves referencing housekeeping already in the cards, but seeing it directly from Marie feels distinctly. out of place somehow. hmmmmmmmmm

in the trailer that first revealed Marie in 2022 there was a line that was like "after ten years...a shard [of the Skull Heart] still remains" which got people speculating about what exactly it could mean if it even DID mean anything and wasn't just cool advertising bullshit. well, it seems fairly clear to me that Skullgirls Twitter is hinting at the reality of the situation, and what exactly that might entail

the Skull Heart is a corruptive influence on Marie. we know that; this has been established since Squigly's story mode, where Marie nearly drops a building on a bunch of innocent bystanders before realizing what she was doing and caught the top half of Medici tower. and then there's the more recent development that Marie becoming a Skullgirl gradually led to her forgetting the actual reason for why she made the wish (to save Patricia) vs. what the Skull Heart wants, which is for everything to get razed to the ground (which Marie ended up narrowing down to "fuck the Medici in particular", to which I say: fair enough)

so! as far as I can tell, this moveset (and the eventual story mode) for Marie explores what exactly she's like WITHOUT the influence of the Skull Heart compelling her to murder everything. how she managed to pull if off is still a mystery for now, but we should get an answer for exactly how she came back later down the line.

Interest check results + title reveal!

Hello, lovely KaeLumi fans ~

I have the interest check results here! There was a total of 20 responses (it says 21 but someone submitted again due to forgetting to checkmark an additional role -- so charts will be off by 1). That may sound really small, but that was a whole lot more than I expected. I was going to go through with a small scale zine if I got just 10 responses (if at least half were interested in contributing), it was stuck at 6 for awhile, then the last week it just EXPLODED all of a sudden because someone happened to browse the KaeLumi tag and found the IC (thank you for reblogging it, I owe the influx of responses to you!)

Now, without further ado, let's take a look at what we have here!

^ You're all pretty interested, this makes me smile.

^ We got a lot of writers on board, but a good amount of artists too! No MMD artists, so I guess I'll be the only one in that department, lol (and possibly a friend of mine, if she's not busy during production). I write as well so.... you guys are gonna have quite a bit to read haha.

^ This was quite a close split, but overall, having solo illustrations of Kaeya and Lumine as well has won out. We will have at least (1) of each of them! Maybe (2), but due to the close split, we will not have (3).

^ Pretty much everything basically passed but headers. So potential Merch Artists will be able to make anything for the above except headers. I doubt we'll end up with one of everything, but the options are there. Phone wallpapers and Chibi PNGs were most popular!

^ Medium scale won out! But I must say, bold of some of you to select large scale. We probably won't have enough contribution for such a scale, but I like your vision. This will still depend on the amount of contributors we actually get, but we do have enough for small scale and possibly the minimum for medium if some contributors submit more than one piece (don't worry, I've set a piece limit + you have to finish your primary piece as a safety net to make sure you actually get at least one of your ideas done).

^ I guess we're all really starving for content, huh? Haha.

Now, as you know, the zine has been currently untitled, so I asked within the interest check for title ideas as well! I received some lovely suggestions, narrowed it down to two, but this particular title stood out from all the rest. I just thought it sounded perfect. This was submitted anonymously so I cannot say who actually came up with the idea, but whoever you are, thank you -- I love it.

The title of the zine will officially be ----

Frostwind Star!

I just put a background so the words would actually show up against a white background haha. But yes, "Frostwind Star", will now be the official title of our zine! (Made the logo with clipart from Pixabay by OpenClipart-Vectors. Font used is Cougette). Thank you to whoever suggested it, I just thought it sounded really pretty.

Thank you to everyone again for your responses! Again, it was a lot more than I expected. I know it looks like a really low turnout compared to other zines out there, but for me personally, it was a splendid turnout considering how underrated this pairing is. So, I'm just really happy that this little zine can go through! Nobody out there was making one, and none prior seem to exist, so I thought to myself; well, if no one else will do it, I will. No harm trying, right? If it fails, I'll just make a personal zine of them. But it turned out even better than I expected, so thank you ^^

ANALYSIS! LEO EDITION!

WHAT ON EARTH IS LEO’S SEXUALITY?

(AND DONNIE’S!)

Leo has the general consensus of being Gay, and this is not without evidence. From his behavior to actual actions, there is genuine proof.

However, the thing that confuses me has to do with the scene in newsworthy.

You see, Leo is the only one with a negative reaction to Mikey’s act. Now, is this a character development thing? I doubt it.

Being attracted to men isn’t something that develops. It’s natural and is something you have from birth because your brain decides it likes another gender.

Is he over-reacting to be different? I don’t think so. Donnie and Raph are very supportive of this and Leo isn’t. Everyone in the room (except hypno) is aware this is an act and aren’t too worried about the innuendoes here. Leo knows Mikey is putting up an act to catch hypno off guard so they can stop him. Despite this, the others are still reacting positively to this (or negatively, in Leo’s case.)

A simple answer?

Leo may be aromantic. He may not be up for the kissing and the hugging, but I doubt he is also asexual.

The biggest “gay leo” fuel is the episode “The hidden city Job”.

Leo is seen to be very into guys in this episode, one of the biggest clues being a blink and you miss it scene towards the beginning.

People will most likely be focused in hueso here, as he is the one speaking and is the one with the most expressions and actions here. However, off to the left, leo can be seen staring at a large pirate yokai walking past.

Jaw dropped, eyes wide, and a very noticeable smile as he stares at the guy’s ass. Hell, the gif is labeled as “Leo checks out a guy” on the tmnt wiki.

Leo does indeed like men, he is indeed gay. However, he is not the cookie cutter gay we all make him out to be.

Leo, while a gay man (teenager), is not entirely interested in having a romantic relationship with anyone. It is much more likely he is based on sexual attraction and not romantic attraction. Especially given how he not so subtly stares at a buff yokai’ s butt.

He is entirely down for appreciating a man’s beauty, as also seen with don suave in this very same episode.

“Wow, you guys are handsome.”

Leo is very clearly attracted to don suave. While this may be because of his immaculate beauty so potent people can faint from him looking their way, he is also seen lavishing the guy in nuzzles later. Leo is 100% gay, he is just more sexually attracted than romantically. Now, is he fully aromantic?

This part can be entirely up to your interpretation, as we never see him interact with a possible partner like usagi. He very well be demiromantic, meaning he will develop romantic feelings only after he has a strong emotional connection with someone. It would explain why he is not excited about Mikey’s front in newsworthy, as there is no connection and he most likely just isn’t into it.

Now, for the other part of this analysis, what is Donnie’s sexuality?

He is clearly not aromantic, as he has a fat crush on atomic lass. (And that’s perfectly okay.)

Donnie is extremely eager to dance with his idol, even if it’s a stranger in a costume.

His line, as simple as it is, causes three women to faint. Despite the fandom consensus Leo is the one to get more bitches, Donnie clearly has a greater amount of rizz. Friendly reminder his line was meant for atomic lass and still made three women swoon.

Donnie is, if anything, only asexual. It also makes sense thematically with the twin thing he and Leo have going on.

They;re both flamboyant, dramatic, and extra. While donnie definitely has the theater kid energy, leo has a bit as well. The two of them both rely on their brothers for support, and are even right next to eachother on the color wheel. Donnie being asexual and leo being aromantic fits their dynamic, and I would not be surprised if it was the intent. There are not many scenes of donnie doing things that support his sexuality, which has lead to the conclusion of him being aroace or bi. We don’t have evidence for either, so it’s very likely he’s either bi pr straight. And that’s okay.

A Quarter Rest (Mozart x Reader)

a/n: Music historians look to Mozart for inspiring confidence in his work, no matter what musical genre he tackled. So it may come as a suprise to you to find out that he is more prone to burnout than the history books would have you believe. A story in which MC tries to convince Mozart that even prodigies need a break sometimes. 

[Characters]: You, Mozart

It was a peaceful day at the mansion. Everyone was out and about on their errands or at work. All except for one. You walked to Mozart’s room to deliver his Rouge, following the sound of his playing, though it wasn’t going smoothly. The same melody repeated over and over again, faster, and more frustrated each time. A few experimental riffs here and there, followed by low muttering and paper crumbling. You slowly slid the door open.

You frowned at the sight of him sitting hunched over the piano keys, hands tangled in his hair, and a scattered pile of crumbled papers beneath his bench. His face was riddled with clear signs of distress. Several days of unrest were evident in his sunken eyes and forming dark circles—not a pretty portrait for the resident musical prodigy.

“Looks like somebody needs his Rouge break,” you said. 

Mozart took a deep breath, sitting upright as he rubbed his face with his hands to release the tension across his features. 

“What’s wrong?” You asked. 

“Too many noises and too many nuisances in this mansion that I can’t focus on my composition.”

“Nobody’s home today though. Are you sure it’s them that’s bothering you?”

He looked down dejectedly at his hands. “Maybe this is it. I’ve peaked.” He clenched his fists. 

“Sounds to me like you’re burnt out, my dude,” you replied. “You haven’t slept properly for days, and no amount of caffeine or Rouge can ever replace proper rest.”

“The concert is a week from now,” he sighed. “And I still haven’t prepared an opening score.”

He groaned in agony over his dilemma, hiding his face in his hands once more. Even prodigies have their off days, but this was the first time you’d seen it in-person—and from Mozart of all people. 

“Sometimes we lose sight of our goal when our own doubts obscure our vision.”

‘A distraction is in order,’ you thought. ‘If only I knew more about him. Does this guy even have any hobbies?’

You placed the tray on a nearby desk, sweeping the crumbled papers away from Mozart’s bench and around his piano. Then, you scooted next to him on his tiny piano bench, pushing against him to make room for yourself. In return, he sent you a sideways questioning glance.

“You know this bench isn’t made to fit two people, right?”

“I know.” You smiled.

“I’m practically falling off the edge here.”

“I know.” You smiled wider. “Anyways, why don’t we take a break and go on a walk or something?”

“Couldn’t you have said that while you were standing? Besides, I can’t. I have to get this done now or else it’ll never be finished. And that would bother me for the rest of the day.” He pushed back against you with a huff, prompting you to stand again with crossed arms.

“Weren’t you the one who composed an overture from scratch the day before the opening performance?” You nudged him back.

“Don’t remind me,” he winced at the memory. But, beneath the hand that rubbed his temple was a fond smile.

“Started at midnight, actually,” he admitted. “And the only things that kept me going were coffee and…” His smile wavered.

“And?”

“…and Constanze, reciting all sorts of tales to keep me awake."  

“Your former wife, is that right?” You tilted your head curiously.

“The one and only.” He turned to properly face you for the first time since you entered the room. “She was a lot like you in that regard. Always there when I needed support.”

Your eyes widened from a sudden bashfulness that overcame you. His smile returned to his handsome face.

“Well, she clearly saw that you were up to the challenge!” You nudged him.

You also handed him the Rouge he had requested, which would keep him occupied, if only for a second, while you composed yourself and thought of ways to redirect the conversation. 

“So, what drives you to work hard every day, composing new music, day in and day out?” you asked.

“It’s my life’s work. It’s the only thing I’ve ever known since I was a child,” he said as he returned the empty decanter to you.

“Hmm, let me rephrase, then.” You returned the decanter to its tray. “If the composer’s life hadn’t chosen you, what would you have done instead?”

He shrugged, “Nothing else would’ve suited me the way that composing does.”

You hummed as you looked around. He sure kept his music room bare of any decorations or memorabilia, same goes for his room.  

“You know, you’re pretty good at keeping this place clean, huh?”

“MC, are you trying to suggest I become a maid, instead?”

“Well, funny you say that because,” you offered your hand, “I’ve got a lounge in need of cleaning, want to help out?”

He stared at your hand. “Is this your way of avoiding your own work?”

“…Maybe.” You couldn’t deny that having him aboard would save you half of the effort, or so you thought. “Think of it this way: You get some time away from composing, as you’re clearly burnt out at the moment, and I get some quality time with you. How does that sound?”

“Sounds like a lose-lose situation to me.”

“Oh, come on! I’ve even got chocolates prepared in the kitchen. You’ll get first pick.”

Mozart stared back at the black and white keys of the piano, as if searching for an answer in their reflection. With a resolute huff, he stood up.

“Fine, let’s go.” He grinned confidently. “Should be easy enough.”

You spent the rest of the day cleaning the lounge—though you weren’t expecting it to take the entire day—including every book in every shelf, all the glassware, and every inch of the floor until you were slipping and sliding on your way out. 

Today, Mozart wasn’t the aloof musical prodigy that denied shaking your hand on day one. Today, he was a cleaning fairy, and a meticulous one at that.

i will say though that there was a fantastic setup with absolutely no follow through. come with me, Brainwashing Connoisseur, on a journey. what are the three most important factors in a brainwashing story? 1. indiscriminate murder one will later feel tortured about 2. Big Scene where we break the conditioning 3. the little chairs they always put them in

this episode only managed to hit 1 out of 3. and the little chair was great! i was horrified, and also twirling my hair about it. we did also have bonus point categories "doubting sense of reality," "unknowing agent of evil," and "amnesia about the conditioning" ticked off. HOWEVER.

not only was geordi NOT allowed to murder people or even get a good attempt in, he didn't even get saved by anyone important (like data). the closest we got was him shooting o'brien in the holodeck simulation. and that was fun and made me really excited for what was to come, which was a lot of nothing. data figuring it out and then NOT rushing to be the one to intercept geordi and lovingly, as a bestie, wrestle him to the ground? letdown. why tf was it worf. why were those random klingons holding him back. what were we DOING people did they just not know how to cook up a good brainwashing in 91 or what!!! honestly

that said i did like the plot twist about the klingon guy being evil because he was genuinely so helpful in a non-suspicious way and disliked that other klingon guy that worf and i dislike. i'm always happy to be surprised like this

and geordi's little therapy session at the end was funny too. he's like haha i don't remember being tortured in a brainwashing chair at all! and deanna's like oh you're Gonna remember. and then he starts to remember and we roll credits. perfect. 10/10. could not have asked for a better ending

or beginning for that matter. it was just the middle that sucked :(

in theory: this was another episode with a very nice set-up and a lackluster payoff

firstly can we not disrespect data or tasha yar by pretending they did not fuck...it was weird, and it was in a bad season, but they DID fuck and to act like data is a virgin is ridiculous. maybe he doesn't know "dating" since they didn't date but he definitely knows how sex works cuz he had it. with tasha yar. may she rest in peace

i actually really liked this at first because data's gf seemed to get a huge kick out of all the insanely weird shit that is just constantly coming out of his mouth, which is right and just. i think they leaned a little too hard on data taking things literally and being "people stupid" in this episode, but i could have forgiven it bc she looked SO FOND every time data was being weird. i even said out loud with my mouth "this is a requirement to love him and be his gf. you have to love the dumb shit he says."

BUT THEN THEY HOOKED UP AND SHE IMMEDIATELY STARTED TRYING TO CHANGE HIM? like, telling him how to receive her gift, telling him to paint and not paint and paint again, and she's like well at least you're trying, you'll get there, BITCH HE IS PERFECT AS HE IS i would date data and i wouldn't make him change ANYTHING

also, it's so stupid. he obviously knows you're supposed to say thank you when you get a gift and i bet he's learned "please don't let me interrupt" isn't always meant to be taken literally either. dude has like two decades of experience now he wasn't activated yesterday

that said, the section where data asks everyone's opinion on whether or not he should date this lady was 10/10 except for picard's response which was sexist. my absolute favorite was riker's he was like oh buddy. you are gonna get LAID if you date this girl and then you can find out why everyone loves SEX like I DO did i mention SEX IS GREAT?? and i do kind of forgive riker for not knowing data and tasha fucked bc tasha asked him not to tell. so it was just funny the guy is such a slut (affectionate, honorific) that he's excited for data to get some too. it was very healing after that whole thing with beverly to see him happy about his buddy getting laid or whatever.

also i'm so fucking thrilled we got to see his cat again i love spot so much fr <3

my other gripe with this episode, aside from this woman dating an android and then being shocked he acted like an android, is...what even was that b plot? it had NOTHING to do with anything. normally they're at least tangentially related and i kept waiting for the gf to be secretly behind it or to get killed by it but this time it really was just some random thing. which frankly i think could have been saved for a better episode bc putting that lady through the floor was probably the goriest think trek has done up til this point. it ruled. give us a whole 45 minutes of that shit (just no morgue scenes please).

again, great setup, could've been lots of fun, mostly wound up being watchable but lackluster. bordering on disappointing :( theme of the evening.......

TONIGHT: redemption parts i & ii. i normally dont like finishing a season and starting one in the same evening but watching percy jackson put us off one so i'm gonna be a grownup about it. goodbye season 4!!!

Finals season sucks, you guys, so I'm a little behind on things! Some Mighty Nein stuff may/may not be up this weekend, depending on my mood.

Orym is sitting up on the front of the skyship, the two moons glowing faintly above him, Ruidus—and him—still reeling from its crimson flare. The blue sending stone weighs a little heavier than normal.

"Hey. Yios bound. Found them, their killers. Bigger than we thought. Real rough, Dorian. Eshteross is dead. Glad you're not here. Wish you were anyway."

No immediate response as an equally-familiar genasi sits down next to him.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"I've been getting a little introspective lately. We keep calling you the good one. Feels a little unfair. I know you're not okay, but... I don't know. Is this feeling like too much, all of this?"

Orym weighs what's been going on recently. Otohan. Laudna. Eshteross. Whatever they're heading into now.

"Probably."

"I definitely—I don't know, I didn't sign up for this shit, but—I mean, if we live, there's definitely going to be things that I'm going to ask your help with in my life. I hope we're at the point where you would ask for help if you needed it. I don't know, we were talking downstairs. Everyone just thinks we're all going to kill each other at some point, except for you. I'd hate to be in that position. I don't know, it would make me really stressed to be the one good one. Not that I've ever been the one good one. It just sounds exhausting. I don't know."

"I think we all have our own version of this. It's rough, you know? There hasn't really been any kind of a break in a long time. For you, I know."

"A very long time. Although, this is—I don't know, is it a break to finally have some introspection? I don't feel like who I was not that long ago. I'm starting to think about things I thought I never would. I'm not big on new people. I'm not big on human contact, general anything, and now this."

The quiet, purposeful readiness of Druidcraft.

"You know, uh—I don't feel like I can do it every single day. I just keep waking up, and try and to honor the people that I left behind, and now you all. But I doubt it every day, and the only way that I manage to keep going is, I look to you guys. I'd be up shit's creek by myself. I was by myself. It's not great."

"Yeah, no, it's not. Well, as a person who is professionally left behind, you're doing a really good job. You should maybe take care of yourself a little bit before you actually do end up being the one who throws us all off a ship. I wouldn't blame you."

"I'm not going to throw you guys off a ship, Ash."

"I know. The rest of us, I don't necessarily know."

"Just got to pants Chetney once in a while."

"Man, I'm so jealous. I will admit, I really wanted to punch a werewolf. I'm really hoping I get the opportunity. Really, it's nothing, I actually like him. Please don't tell him that. Please."

"Yeah."

"Yeah, he's fun. I like fun. Anyway, you should go to sleep. I'm going to go to sleep, and you look like shit, and so you should go to sleep."

"Hey, hold up—"

"Yeah?"

When Orym gets up and gives Ash the largest hug he could at his size, he isn't entirely sure where the pain starts and the contact ends. But it feels...right, in whatever form it is.

"Oh, wow. That, yep, okay, yeah."

"Sorry, I know that's a double-edged sword." Orym steps back almost as soon as he started.

"Oh yeah, no, I'm getting-- It's-- It's good to be appreciated, I will admit. Yeah. You have pain long enough, it just becomes background noise, anyway."

"I hear that."

"God, I hope there's good breakfast. Come on, let's go."

Orym gazes back up at the sky for a moment.

"Be in in a minute."

"Alright."

Orym listens as Ashton pads back inside, before gazing back up at the twin moons. There's been so much lately.

"I miss you, too."

So many and so few words.

Hi, okay so I’m the anon who asked about nerfing or buffing the characters. I understand the confusion I didn’t really explain what I meant. So let me just clarify that. What I mean is that ever since izuku got like at least 20% the rest of his class couldn’t keep up with him, except for Todoroki and Bakugo. Even then you’ve even stated that you think Izuku would win against Shoto if they fought in the sports festival again. It just feels like Izuku has gone and literally left everyone in the dust and while other Shonen do that for him it oddly just feels wrong. Like he went from being barely able to beat Bakugo to the latter stating he’s “too fast” at just 8%. It really feels like the only person who could defeat him is either Endeavor, even then I doubt it, or All For Shiggy. Like even if they had the best plan his classmates didn’t stand a chance against a severely weakened Izuku.

I do appreciate you clarifying that, but I do stand by what I said. Izuku being that strong makes sense in world given how powerful All Might is and works with the general theme of sharing the load. However, just because I can explain it doesn't mean I can excuse it. There can be some grievances about why it doesn't feel right with how much more powerful Izuku is, and I want to talk about those.

It could be the astronomical distance between Izuku and everyone else, to the point where any comparison feels comical. In other Shonen, there are at least threats and other people that can come close to the main character. You could reasonably see how one character could match up to another. You can’t really do that for Bakugou and Izuku. For the series as it is now, it's pretty much just Izuku and Tomura, followed by a large gap, and then everyone else. It can work for characters like All Might, who is more of an idol and goal for the hero, but become less interesting when it is the main character. It also hurts a lot of tension whenever anyone else is fighting these characters because we know they can't really do anything, similar to Dragonball's issues with Goku. It's part of what makes a lot of fights with Tomura so frustrating to read, but that's another story.

Then there is the matter skills. In other Shonen, everyone is given their own powers and strengths to shine on their own. Series like One Piece and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure are both great examples of this, in which each of the side characters are built with their own unique gimmicks to keep them relevant and may end up saving the day. The story did start out that way, but gradually shifted more towards flashy combat. Like Shoji and Koda, whose skillsets are far more helpful in support and information gathering, their abilities have grown to be good in combat because that's what a lot of the series came to be about near the end. In that context, everyone comes up short to the guy that can hit the hardest. This problem is then exacerbated by the fact that Izuku gains so many new powers, letting him cover even more ground and surpassing what the students could do.

Though I think the biggest problem is just how fast it has been going. As I have said many times before, the greatest threat to the world is not All For One but the story's own pacing. Everything is escalating way too fast, with the two major players taking these giant leaps in a relatively short period of time. And when it happens to other characters, needing a similar leap in power to keep up, it feels like they're cheating to get there. So not only are there all these other problems, but it ends up feeling unsatisfying and unearned when a lot of it happens. I honestly think the greatest solution to this issue would be to just give the story and characters more time. It would make Izuku's power progression more natural, especially by giving the readers time to adjust to it and giving the other characters time to catch up. It would give the other students chances to shine at what they are good at.
