So for baby daddy Nate: when they are older and married reader can't handle anymore and they both fight she ask for divorce but the kid hear it.? Hope you write about this.
This isn't canon, I think.
This belongs to Baby Daddy.
"I think we should get a divorce."
"What?"
"I said that I think we should get a divorce."
"I heard you the first time."
The Jacobs' household was soaked in silence, the two young adults in the kitchen after setting their kid to bed. Nate was sitting on the armchair near the kitchen island, while she was cleaning the remaining of dinner. He stood up, walking towards his wife, invading her personal space.
"Can I know where this is coming from?" The faucet had been dripping for a bit, probably because it knew breaking the silence was its new task.
"I don't think we need to be married." Her hand was gripping a damp towel, hyper-focusing in a little circle of coffee from that morning. "We aren't a married couple, we're just two adults living in a house and raising a child."
"Who's fault is that?"
"Don't blame me." The circle was finally gone. "You were the one who married a woman who never wanted you." Their eyes met for the fist time since they put their child to bed.
"Don't say that shit."
"Mommy? Daddy? I'm thirsty." Both young adults turned around to look at the small figure standing by the hallway. The way they were gripping the doorway and their half hidden body proved that the child had been there for longer.
"Mommy will get you some." Quickly she turned around to fill a plastic cup with water. "Here hon. Do you need help going back to bed?"
"I want daddy to do it." Those big brown eyes were too hard to deny, making Nate walk forward.
"Come on, Jojo, I'll read you another story." He lifted his child to his hip, somehow still dwarfing the child, as if they hadn't grown since they were still a baby.
"Goodnight mommy."
"Goodnight, baby."
The staircase was full of picture frames of the young family, at the park, the zoo, on christmas. Endless memories that his stupid wife wanted to throw away because she was a quitter and a coward.
"What were you and mommy talking about?"
"Nothing you have to worry about."
"You were mad. Is mommy in trouble? Should she sit on the step?" Jojo was the most terrifying child Nate had ever met. The big eyes, the big cheeks and their calm nature made them look like a small victorian child that had seen too much. Jojo had a normal childhood, two parents that loved them, friends, and two set of grandparents that spoiled the kid a bit too much. Normal, very normal child.
Nate thought all the weird things that came out of Jojo were her fault. She burdened their child, he knew it. Jojo played like any other kid, Jojo had the same taste buds as any other kid. But Jojo asked uncomfortable questions and would stare at you for a bit too long, as if the five year-old was trying to figure you out.
She spent too much time raising the child, got bored because she's a stupid selfish bitch and decided to treat Jojo like an adult. Too many books, too many paintings and too many museums.
Jojo loved their mom, and Nate was envious. Not because Jojo didn't love Nate, but because looking at them proved what relationships between mother and child could be. Martha hadn't been present, she was home, and she picked him up from school, but his dad was the one in charge of raising him.
Seeing Jojo and Y/N somehow was the Universe or whatever entity rubbing it his face. You had the potential for having this, but you didn't.
The white walls of his kid's room were covered in little scribbles on the wall, something they hadn't bothered in correcting as long as it was only in these walls. The dinosaur lamp was still on, spreading the room in the light green light. Some story books were laying on the ground, and some books. Original versions of classics such as Little Women and To kill a mockingbird laid besides The very humgry caterpillar and The Giving tree.
During the walk up and the small back rubs Nate was giving Jojo, the five-year old had fallen asleep, long eyelashes tickling their cheeks. The toddler was set on the brand new ocean life bed sheets, their latest obsession, and immediately started hugging the handmade-crochet whale they had made with their mom's help.
After setting the kid to sleep and kissing their small forehead, Nate went downstairs. His wife was were he left her, this time with a mug between her hands.
"If you think I'll give you a divorce and let you separate me from my son, you're way stupider than I thought."

Tumblr media Tumblr media
"who is she?" your voice choruses inside his head before the heavy wood has even latched closed, the chorus mostly playful, the teasing curve of your lips clear you didn’t think he’d notice one in the chorus with the mean tone, insecurity and jealousy weaved into its disembodied voice, no matter how you tried to hide it with hundreds of other voices overlapping the others, the same question on repeat.
“how did you get in here?”
“how do you know you haven’t let me in before?” aloud, your voice is even more powerful, his spine straightening minutely despite the exhaustion setting in his bones. even with his muscles fighting his instincts to remain upright, he studies you lazily, his gaze trailing over your hands; holding the book on his coffee table in the same spot he held it, his thumbs in place beneath yours just hours earlier. he wonders if he’ll be able to feel you on the pages after you leave, if your fingerprint will linger like your perfume.
there’s some kind of domesticity to it, he thinks, your hands settling in the same place as his, your comfortable pose on his couch, your insatiable need to know about him, to see inside him, your need for him to engage like a schoolgirl tugging on the sleeve of his shirt. if the schoolgirl was blood thirsty.
“so, who is she?” your tone is even, your jealousy masterfully disguised by a practised playfulness, the twinkle in your eye unmistakable when you search his face for any tells for his supposed lover. you finally stand from his couch, placing the book back in the exact spot he had it, down to the millimetre (had you been here before? would he know?), leaving your jacket on the couch, the sweet scent already seeping into the fabric. you were good at that, ensuring you were always on his mind, with your perfume, with all the criminals dazedly walking into police stations holding their own wanted flyers with his name scribbled on it beside your own. gifts, you’d called them the first time he’d caught you in the act.
“has to be someone special, hm? you’ve never left me waiting before.”
your voice is just a whisper, a tiny worm wiggling its way into his nervous system, forcing his gaze to yours (he has just enough self control to steel his eyes, to keep his face indifferent as his body fought to react, to give in). staring up at him, you carefully examine his features, the way you’re reflected in his pupils that nearly swallow his iris whole, the ring of colour proof of his stubbornness, of his power to resist your compulsion.
“there is no she, i was out cleaning up your mess.”
you raise your hands in a display of innocence you don’t deserve, slinking closer to the light he sought his shelter in.
“my mess? i convinced a criminal you’ve been searching for to walk into your agency. you should be thanking me.” the worm is more the size of a caterpillar, growing evermore with the echoing chorus of your voice, the same you’d have done to the man earlier in the evening; a tauntingly slow build up of your compulsion until it had taken hold.
his voice joined yours in ordering him, his head hurting from the resistance, thank her. thank her. thank her. thank her. squeezing his eyes shut, his lips part involuntarily, his tongue straining to speak, to form the syllables you compelled him say, “i don’t need to thank you for shit.”
his back tenses, shoulder blades pinching together in the effort to resist you, a headache forming behind his eyes the longer you stared at him; pain pulsing with every ignored syllable.
he’d given in once, the first time he saw you, before he knew how to resist. before he knew how relieving it was to give in; the sound of your honeyed voice something he craved every day since, the echo of your command like a warm stream of water rushing down his spine, the weightlessness of pleasing you, every hum of approval like a hit of nicotine.
you pout, “the others are more grateful.”
your perceived inability to break him haunts you, he can tell, you itch to feel him give in, to have a man of his power under your thumb. a toy for your entertainment. he’d give it to you, he’d tell you how he craved the feeling of your hypnosis, if he knew you’d still send him your ‘gifts’, if you’d still sneak into his house just to see the flash of shock on his face, if you’d still obsess, if he knew he wasn’t just a challenge. the unbreakable man, broken.
instead, he tries his best to keep an indifferent, slightly amused, expression firmly on his face, watching you flit about his apartment like you belonged, like you weren’t more tempting than the forbidden fruit, like submitting wasn’t a worse fate than mortality. his body screamed at him the longer you stayed near, blood, muscles bones and nerves begging to rest, to get closer, to run; the need for you prospering in the dark recesses of his mind when he takes one step closer.
“i’m not like the others.”

What lessons are you learning in love right now
Tumblr media Tumblr media
message: I’m working through my drafts just as I said I would, the time for this reading has come because I feel called to do it and so I will. Things have been tiring and I am in the process of releasing many things as I’m being guided to do during this eclipse taking place at this time. I’m mourning many losses, I’m holding onto my hope, holding onto my strength, I’m resting, I’m healing, I’m transforming. I’m taking with me not pain but lessons. I’m spinning gold out of what I’ve been given. To love is such a wonderful blessing and beautiful gift, even when loss is inevitable or when it is given to you at the very end every time. So we’re going to find out what lessons you’re learning in love today collective. Thank you for co creating this reading with me, for spending time with me, for enjoying my content, and for growing and transforming with me. You are so loved. <3
***
i.
Pile one, a good amount of your lessons in love in general and not just at this current moment could be centered around your self-worth and learning it. You could’ve been burned a lot by past lovers or have had some trivial and complex relationships that issues may have lied in your ability to understand your worth, ask for more, and accept more. This hasn’t changed. Your current lessons that you’re learning in love still lie in you having an awakening regarding your self-worth. Some of you are divine beings and are meant to do incredible things and take on leadership roles in life and part of this is going to require you to step into your power and really be a big influence and a big energy in everything you do. Many of you already take on a lot of leadership roles and are mentors and highly valued individuals in your lives but there’s more for you to unlock here.
This past relationship you’ve just gotten out of could’ve flipped yet another switch in you. I’m seeing a huge panel here with a lot of red buttons and/or switches. Everytime you come out of a relationship that was meant to shake you or push you into a different energy and you overcome another button is pushed and another switch is flipped. The number 94 could be significant to you in some way shape or form as it represents progress and spiritual growth. “It encourages you to pursue your goals even if they seem difficult or impossible. Your angels will work along side you as long as you stay committed and focused on reaching success. With determination, anything is possible!” There’s a message here about you not settling for less I’m hearing or continuing to ask for more and raise your price, and add tax.
I’m hearing someone needs to detox the body here as well. You can be sick from something you ate, I feel stomach pain and discomfort in the body, you could have just finished a period if you’re a woman and may be in need of a acv detox bath, you may be feeling thirsty and dehydrated. You’re undergoing transformation and may be tired and feel as though you’re undergoing some sort of “recovery”. Butterflies and their transformation from a caterpillar into their final form could be significant. The divine feminine, the divine mother, the womb, all significant symbolism and imagery.
Someone is stepping further into their divinity with a catalyst in love they’ve just experienced recently as well. I hear spirit saying you’re very close or you’re red hot. The lesson you’re learning right now is regarding serving yourself Justice however difficult of a task it may prove to be. Spirit is putting emphasis on the idea that you’re the creator of your own reality and the way you choose to live your life, who you choose to spend time with you, to have access to your vessel, to your temple, to your heart, and to your mind all falls into your hands here. For many of you in this collective, feminine deities and strong matriarchal women in your blood line stand firmly behind you.
The lessons you’re learning in love also pertains to you overcoming a fear of change and being able to be more fluid in your life and in love here. You could have a hard time letting things go, heavily sentimental in matters of the heart or someone very emotionally passionate and driven. It makes it difficult for you to let go of heartbreak and let go of love when it’s time has passed or far gone. Spirit wants you to learn the art of release, wants you to learn the art of transformation when it’s time to undergo change. Spirit is teaching you to see accurately how much power you hold in your relationships and in your connections. An opportunity to enjoy your energy, an opportunity to sit with you, an opportunity to simply be in your presence even platonically is a divine one, is a blessed one. Spirit says “see this and hear this now.” There will be no contradictions, no arguments, and no compromising on this whatsoever. Whomever comes towards you should be prepared to move mountains and come ready or not at all.
Spirit is teaching you that with one drop of disharmony or an ounce of energy that isn’t serving you or doing right by you that there is no harm in being alone or working alone. So much of your power is heightened in your solitude they say, “so why do you color yourself afraid?” Spirit wants you to know that happiness and fulfillment are always written in the stars for you alone or in a connection with someone whom you love. Your lesson is that it is okay to walk away when you aren’t being served Justice, you will serve yourself Justice.
***
ii.
The lessons you’re learning in love right now pertain to aspects of your shadow that have been keeping you stagnant for a long time now. Negative thoughts, self-imposed restrictions like behaviors and mindsets that keep you from receiving things you truly deserve, self-imprisonment, and even potentially a victim mentality where you may choose to ignore the truth when met with conflict and make yourself seem like the person in relationships whose being mistreated or burdened when in reality you’ve fallen short or have villainized your partner to make yourself feel safer. I’m hearing when criticized or when something is brought to your attention you may tend to fall into a habit of defending yourself, defending your behaviors, and even using your knowledge or ability to communicate to try and push others into thinking that they were wrong or that they’ve wronged you so you don’t have to feel vulnerable or take true accountability for your actions.
If this is true for you I do see a large amount of this behavior not being behavior that’s meant to be malicious or bring harm to others but that’s been adopted out of trauma and a desire to be seen and heard or even validated and enabled as much as possible because this may have been something you went long periods without receiving within your life whether it came from a healthy or negative place here. I’m seeing someone being yelled at regardless of their making positive decisions, someone who didn’t get positive feedback and affirmation when they did do good things in their romantic relationships, in their platonic relationships, and with their relationships from a familial standpoint especially as a child.
There are lessons in the idea of you deserving more self-care or deserving more self-respect from your self here, giving yourself the freedom to have good things, giving yourself the freedom to serve yourself Justice so that other people can serve you, Justice, giving yourself the freedom to relax into the energy of receiving kindness and genuine love and respect from people who fully intend to give it to you and serve you compensation for heartbreak and loss. But there are also lessons here and understanding the fundamental bricks that makeup who you’ve become and how that seeps into your relationships as an individual, as someone with full autonomy and the ability to make their own decisions and show up as who they truly desire to be in love.
There’s a lot here, a message about stepping into your power and going against the status quo or challenging the status quo and blowing to smithereens preconceived ideas of who you should be and what you should accept whether these ideas were built around you or built by you. Spirit is also trying to teach you that there is more to love and connection than what the human world has taught you. There’s a message here about you coming to terms with the idea that love and true soul-deep connection goes against all logical ideas of what is possible here. You may be somewhat of a skeptic in the sense that you feel the extent of what we speak on (in regards to high-level soul connections and soul ties and soul connections in general) and how much power we give such things does not exist the way they are portrayed to exist but your resistance to these ideas highlights fear within self of true and deep attachment that cannot be destroyed or denied here.
There is knowledge and an aspect of yourself and your spirit that you’ve not tapped into or are covering your ears and eyes to out of fear. You are keeping yourself small in all aspects out of fear and choosing to create delays, tell yourself lies, and hide within your shadow and within the ego. Your recent failures in love and experiences in love teach you things regarding the need to let go and surrender to the divine plan and surrender to the change and transformation you must undergo to step into your power although it is scary and casts light on aspects of you who’d rather sit in the dark and hide away.
There are breakthroughs and mental clarity being birthed and given to you through love and heartbreak and the ups and downs and fluidity of human connection here. There’s something significant here about heart break and your past relationships or misaligned relationships here. You could be experiencing heartbreak or these back-to-back heart chakra awakenings that were sent to you to awaken you to your unhappiness in some of your relationships as well as the reason they may not have worked out because of aspects of your shadow here. You could’ve spent a lot of time in unhappy relationships in your past that you romanticized or glorified due to trauma that could’ve brought some semblance of heartbreak to you.
There’s also another connection I see here with a high priestess or someone who holds great divinity who could’ve given you true heart break or showed you what it means to lose someone whom you shared a true love with or a divine connection with here that’s highlighting and emphasizing this nine of cups in reverse, all this unhappiness and all of these ego. Ego death is highly significant for this pile. When this person leaves they trigger tower moments, where this person goes, rebirth occurs whether they mean to or not. They’re heavily supported and looked after by important deities. This person has an older soul and has walked through many lives being love, war, desire, and temptation, and all things that sit within the human shadow and all of its complexity. Your lesson lies in your shadow, your authenticity, and your ego. It’s time to undergo immense change even if it is difficult, painful, or scary.
***
iii.
Right now spirit may be potentially highlighting some co-dependent habits and behaviors in love for you pile three. There’s also a potential for some lessons regarding you honoring your feelings and your heart here. You may be someone who is prone to staying in situations that aren’t serving them and will not serve them out of codependency. True love could’ve been presented to you or there is someone that you loved here who was shown to you that you could’ve parted from. The love you had for this person represented love that you could’ve had for yourself but you ran from this person out of fear and made the decision to fall into karmic cycles or continue to invest your energy into karmic cycles and your window to make a different choice was closed on you here.
Your lessons in love, in general, as well as of late lie in your self respect and the need to reinvent who you are and who you choose to be. Something is incredibly significant about your choices here. You may be choosing to mimic certain examples you’ve seen in your life pertaining to who to be, or what love looks like instead of choosing to go in the opposite direction and choose differently to bring yourself true fulfillment. Spirit asks when you’re going to make choices that reflect back to you self love and a desire to be free. The words unfair are coming out here. I’m hearing someone complaining or validating that their life and their experiences are harsh and unfair but not taking the initiative to make better choices.
There’s a masculine energy here or a father that may play a huge role in your decisions and the way you view yourself, view relationships and navigate issues in your life here. If this is not the case there is still issues and misalignment regarding the making of decisions and creating healthy and aligned foundations for yourself in order to flourish. Spirit is saying that your experience in love or what you’re learning in love is necessary in order to push you to step into your power and find it within yourself to full your own cup and fulfill your souls purpose. You could be experiencing a large amount of issues within your current relationship or within your relationships in general both platonic and romantic that are contributing to an ego death or heart chakra awakening so that you can turn inwards and see yourself and see your surroundings for what they are and understand that you’re settling.
Spirit is shining light on your unhappiness and dissatisfaction with a lot of things within your life right now including relationships and spirit wants to know what you’re going to do about it?? Your lesson in love lies in how long you’re going to sell yourself short, settle for less than you deserve, and continue to remain stagnant for no reason other than to push against change and push against the current. Your soul family is not within the circle of people or the lovers that you invest your energy into, those people aren’t meant for you, those people won’t fill your cup whilst you attempt to fill theirs, those people won’t bend over backwards for you the way you bend over backwards for them. Those people don’t love you. Your lesson lies in how long you’re going to hide behind your shadow and ignore the call forward to undergo much needed transformation and healing. When are you going to make the right choices?

What are some good snacks I can set out for wild paper wasps? There's a nest being built right in my doorway, they're very friendly and downright docile, and I want to be a good neighbor and set out something tasty for them.
paper wasps mainly drink flower nectar and hunt caterpillars to feed their larvae, and receive nutritious salivary secretions a from their larval sisters, offered in return for the caterpillar mush. they might also drink a bit of the caterpillars’ blood while chopping them up.
I’ve actually struggled to handfeed paper wasps hunting caterpillars in my kale, they seem so focused on hunting (and probably frightened of me) that they ignore perfectly plump caterpillars I’ve already plucked for them. maybe you can plant some native, habitat-appropriate wildflowers to feed both wasps and various moths and butterflies, but that’s probably too long-term for this year’s wasps.
I think the most useful thing you can do to help them out is leave out a dish of plain water with some small stones in it! paper wasps get thirsty on hot days and will need fresh water more than food. bees and solitary wasps will also probably visit for a drink

easy home gardening suggestions
Are you bad at eating the vegetables you buy? Do you feel like everything goes bad before you can eat it? KEEP IT FRESH ON THE VINE. Or at least, pickle it yourself.
You will need: pots (plastic is fine, terra cotta is drier, glazed ceramic retains moisture best). Dirt (surprisingly cheap but very heavy). Sunshine (free).
(I live in a humid part of the USA, these tips are not meant for deserts)
Container options: all your containers NEED drainage holes, but if you're a freak like me, you can take any sturdy plastic thing with sides & a bottom and nail/drill/MELT holes into it. Storage tubs may be a cheap alternative. Don’t hold the tub upside down and melt the excess plastic with matches directly onto your human hand. Burn bandages are expensive. Or just steal old ceramic pots from your aging grandmother.
Container Gardening
BELL PEPPERS: if you get half a day at least of direct sun, you can grow bell peppers. They do want warm weather so either you have to put them inside your house in a very sunny window or wait until it's 70degrees F or more. Remember that flowers do need to be pollinated by SOMETHING. Note that if you're planting them in containers, deeper is better; bell pepper tap roots can go 3 feet down if you let them. Minimum of 12 inches. If you have time but no money, scrape the seeds from dinner and plant them. If you have money but no time, try to buy one sprouted from the local plant nursery. Outdoors you will get caterpillars, but in my experience they are very polite and do not attack the fruit, so they're fine. You can grow three pepper plants per foot diameter of dirt surface.
OTHER PEPPERS: generally all peppers have the same needs, although my hot peppers seem a bit less thirsty than my bell peppers. I bought some already-growing hot peppers from the local plant nursery and they have been EXTREMELY productive; some "hot" peppers like mine (a Holy Mole pepper) actually make great mild salad greens if you scrape the spicy seeds out & pick while still green. Minimum of a foot deep containers, deeper is better if you can manage it. Full sun.
SCALLIONS: with green onions/scallions, you know the big thick ones they sell in the store with the roots still on? buy a couple and plant them in a pot of dirt in the sun and you'll have infinite green onion leaves. They can stand freezing weather if you cover them. It got down to 20 F here and I still didn't lose them. No flowers involved, just juicy crunchy leaves. They only have to be in containers 6 inches deep minimum. DO THIS.
SALAD GREENS: container gardening works well for lettuce and mustard/mizuna. Lettuce needs regular watering, it has shallow roots. You just gotta plant Mizuna when it's cold enough for the seeds to germinate (40 F ~ish). Mizuna is a hardy little guy, tolerates heat AND cold. You gotta buy the seeds, but they're cheap. Follow directions on the seed pack. This can be done (theoretically) in a sunny window indoors since they do not need pollinators. It's all LEAVES baby.
LIMA BEANS. These have deep roots and they have long tall vines; if you have the space for the roots, and any thing LIKE a trellis for the vines, and sun, you can get so many goddamn lima beans for 0 effort. Forget about these suckers you can't STOP them from fruiting.
More below the cut bc this is getting long
TOMATOES are kind of an investment; they're easy to grow from seed but they need a lot of sun & a deep pot. If you want full size beefsteak tomatoes, try a tall, lightweight plastic pot with a lot of fertilizer & consistent watering. Don’t forget the tomato cages! Those beefy boys will pull your plant over sideways. The lightweight pot will allow you to move the pot inside if you have a sudden deluge of rain that will waterlog & split the fruit. You can try planting seed from harvested dinner, but you may end up with some much smaller tomatoes than what you harvested from. It’s something to do with commercial hybrids.
TBH i recommend growing a cherry tomato, you get more fruit and you're less likely to lose it to bugs/sudden rain/general bad luck. Buy some ripe in the store and harvest the seeds. Do not try to grow indoors, you need pollinators & sun. Sensitive to cold. Giant green caterpillars will try to consume your entire tomato plant. You must catch them before they succeed.
SPINACH is nutritious, but honestly don't bother with growing spinach past spring if you live south of the Mason-Dixon line, it likes the cold. I'm having bad lucky with it--it's either too hot or too wet or BOTH around here. My friend who gardened in the desert said they had good luck? It works in container gardens tho. Critters love to eat it. Maybe ask about it at the plant nursery.
ARUGALA: bought some already growing and it's a real champ, doesn't need much water. 6 inch depth minimum. NOTE: Once it flowers, you will not get enough leaves for a sandwich. Since then I've grown it from shed seed and it's very hardy--it actually put out a whole tap root through the bottom of my growpot and got down into the soil. Keep it watered when it's baby. The seed will sprout pretty much any time through the spring and summer.
CARROTS & BEETS:
Carrots are... more complicated. Unless you really like carrots or you really like gardening, idk if I'd recommend them for beginners. You start them from seed then thin them out so they're all at least 6 inches apart, and the seedlings wilt in the heat but they also don't like it when it's freezing so... I'm having a hard time with them. Maybe there's a breed that grows really well in your area? Ask at the local plant nursery. I did a "baby carrots" variety (sex seeds) and two survived infancy. One is still growing as of September. I'm hoping for more seeds.
Beets are less picky, and need a bit less water. But they do die off at the height of summer, so get them going while you can.
CELERY: basically the same, but less angry about the heat. Keep moist. Pick a bit & come back again for more. My seed packet said they should be ready to pick stalks in April but they definitely were not. July was really when they got big enough to eat.
ZUCCHINI: There's a lot of posts about how easy zucchini is to grow, but I think I'm in the wrong part of the country for it. Needs a lot of water, at least when it's hot outside. Definitely works for container gardening. Give it a 12 inch deep pot. TIP: put your old coffee ground in the dirt to increase the acidity. You will not get any fruit unless you have pollination, but pollinators also like to lay eggs on the leaves and eat them all to smithereens. Pickleworms have destroyed me two years in a row now. Cucumbers are the same way--and if you're gonna try cucumbers, buy a burpless variety to keep beetles away at least.
YAMS are pretty easy. They like the HEAT. They need 100% full sun. What you do is you buy a yam from the store, wait until it starts to put out growths, then (indoors) suspend it partly in some water until the green growths are at least 6 inches long. Then you can plant those growths in dirt. It's especially good if the growths have little white roots, but I've planted growths without any roots and they were fine. Healthy vines will put out runners. Suggestion: start in a deeper container but only fill it up with like 6 inches of dirt. When the yam vine gets long, add another few inches of dirt and bury some of the vine. Keep doing this until you run out of space and/or dirt. You get more yams this way. Harvest when the cold starts to make the leaves all sad and crinkly. Using fluffy light dirt makes harvest easier.
STRAWBERRIES: You'll get them one at a time, and they won't be very flavorful in many cases. They need pollinators, but squirrels steal them as soon as they're ripe. Keep under a net. They're also VERY hard to grow from seed. I have managed it, but the germination time is like... three months. Perfect container plants though. And in the summer they start putting out runners, and then you can MULTIPLY your strawberry content. Set them somewhere just out of the rain, so that the fruit won't swell up and split during a deluge, but remember to keep them moist.
BLUEBERRIES: fine for containers, although they need to be deep. Get at least two blueberry bushes so they can cross pollinate. Make sure that both varieties bloom at about the same time of year. Partial sun is fine. In winter it may go dormant but it comes back.
BLACKBERRIES and RASBERRIES are insanely low maintenance but bad for container gardening. They want a lot of space. You'd need a big container. Maybe a costco storage tub. Better off putting them in the ground, if you have a garden. But watch out, they spread.
A note about PUMPKINS: you can get a pumpkin seed to sprout basically spitting on it. I threw some dirt on a rotten halloween pumpkin and now I have a legion of leaves. However, getting them to fruit requires pollinators, and the vines take up space. I wouldn't try to grow them unless you have an actual garden with flowers (weeds are fine) or you just.... want a pretty vine to look at. Also they don't like the heat very much, even though they grow over the summer.
LEMONS: you can actually grow lemon seedlings from the seeds of regular ass grocery store lemons. They're supposed to be pretty easy to do but I haven't had much luck. Now that it's warmer out I'm gonna try again; basically just put them in some dirt and keep the dirt moist until a sprig comes up. you won't get fruit for like 5 years but the leaves smell nice. Tangerines are the same way.
I've put a couple over-ripe onions in the ground, but I don't think I'm going to get much out of it. There's a wikihow article on it. Basically you cut the bottom off an onion from the store, eat the top, and then treat the bottom like a yam. But you might as well just plant the whole thing if it's already started putting out green tendrils. Maybe you'll get flowers.
Herbs
hard Rosemary is actually difficult in most places bc it needs Mediterranean conditions ie. FULL sun, not a lot of water, warm weather. It starts to grow mold if it's not blazed 8 hours a day. Rosemary can get up to the size of a full ass bush if you give it the space. Needs 12 inches of pot depth. If you haven't got full sun, don't bother. I don't recommend growing these from seed--if you have a plant nursery anywhere near your home, just buy one there that is already established with roots. Cold hardy when large enough.
medium Basil has about the same sun needs as Rosemary, but it doesn't mildew. Basil will do the hydra thing and put out new heads of leaves if you snip them off. I'm growing it from seed and it's doing pretty good! Do not eat the flowers. Not cold hardy.
medium Ginger is a tropical shade plant, so you can grow it with no direct sunlight (it does need to get at least indirect sun). It needs really rich soil so you gotta go buy some bagged potting soil with compost, but literally you can get a healthy ginger from the store and sprinkle dirt on top and it ought to start growing. Especially if it already has little white or green fingers growing out of it. Give it a deep pot, 10 inches if possible. not cold hardy. If the soil freezes, it dies.
easy Mint: we all know it's insanely prolific. However I have managed to kill all my mint twice. I think I didn't give it a large enough container to spread out in. Aim for something at least 10 inches deep and at least a foot diameter. I know, it's a big commitment for an herb. Partial shade is fine. do NOT put it directly in the ground or it will take over. Cold hardy perennial (survives at 0 F and lower). It may go dormant but it comes back. Keep moist.
easy Oregano. Good boy. Precious child. More sun is better, and not a lot of watering. Pot only has to be 6 inches deep, though more never hurts. I've heard that cilantro and tarragon and thyme have the same root depth, but I've never tried growing them so that's all I know. If you're planting from seed, make sure it's hot outside and do Not bury the seed. It goes right on the surface of the dirt in the sunshine. 3 months from sowing to adulthood. Cold tolerant perennial; it may go dormant but it comes back.
easy Garlic: you might not be up for growing garlic from seed, but if you want to harvest the green stalks that grow up from the bulbs in spring, they are kind of like a cross between chives and garlic in flavor, and very safe to eat. Good in soup. Just buy some regular garlic and then forget it in your kitchen until the individual bulbs start poking up green shoots inside that papery wrapping stuff. Then plant them in some dirt with the green shoot pointing up. These bulbs survive VERY cold winters and thrive. It may go dormant but it comes back. If you let it go through a cold winter, you may get harvestable additional bulbs.
List of Flowers You Can Eat:
Nasturtium, violet, viola, coneflower, chrysanthemum, citrus blossoms, daisies (who knew), marigold, clover flowers (clover is good because it nitrogenates the soil). When in doubt, eat the petals only. Except for Nasturtium, i know you can eat those leaves and stems and all. They're kind of peppery.
There's actually a LOT of edible flowers I haven't begun to list. If you're curious, look into it.
Things you simply cannot grow at home: Vanilla. Cinnamon. Soy beans. Apples. Do not try. (Vanilla is an orchid. Orchids are Hard.) (Cinnamon is growable in Mexico if you keep it well watered.)
straight up, if you're gonna grow any of these, just google "how often water [x]" and then do that forever. Set a recurring calendar alarm. If they look wilty, increase how often you do it. Personally I water everything when the dirt looks dry, but that's because I'm an obsessive.
Anything sold in the store uncooked/undried that is either 1. a seed itself or 2. contains a seed (or 3. has roots attached) can PROBABLY be pirated. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Google is your friend.
Other Notes:
you CAN pollinate a lot of things by hand, if you're willing to put the effort in
"well draining" soil usually has compost material content mixed in. Sand is also well draining, but maybe a little TOO well draining. Basically, avoid clay if it needs to drain.
Most things do not need fertilizer all the time if you buy potting soil (it's pre-fertilized). However, growth costs nutrients. Keep that in mind.
You can steal dirt out of the ground for your pots but remember that it may be contaminated depending on where you get it (roadside? BAD idea). Also it's heavy as fuck. Plan accordingly.
Coffee & tea grounds are acidic and nutritious. (for plants) (don't eat them)
it's not actually a great idea to bury a moldy piece of fruit in a pot. You will get flies. I know it seems like a composting hack but don't do it.
You can put old wood cuttings & logs at the bottom of a container for plants that need a lot of nitrogen, like ginger. Make sure there's still an appropriate amount of soil between the wood and the surface.
potting SOIL contains dirt (sand/silt/clay), potting MIX is just organic matter (peat usually). Mix is fluffy, soil is denser. You can combine to get the advantages of both. Potting mix is usually a good bet for fruiting plants, but I've tried using plain ground soil for almost everything and the main problem is it just dries out faster. If you're putting things directly in the ground, just get some "gardening soil" to fill in around the roots a little bit.
pots are weirdly expensive. Scavenge and recycle what you can. I've used costco cranberry juice jugs for things, but the ridges in the plastic do retain water. Make SURE your pots are deep enough. And make sure they have a fair bit of surface diameter.
depression meal: boil one package of maruchan ramen, as many lima beans as your little hands can grab, chunk of scallion (chop if you have the energy, shred it with your fingers if not). celery? if you've got it. pour flavoring packet. add lemon juice. survive another day without scurvy.
A note on TREES
Citrus trees are easier to manage than some other kinds, but they do still need management. Citrus is very cold sensitive so if you can bring them inside as soon as it hits freezing at night, that is best. The trouble is they also need deep enough pots for their tap roots, which makes them hard to MOVE. Even with frost covering, I lost a lemon tree to a hard winter this year RIP. The good news is that after they've been in the ground about 5 years, you do not have to cover them as carefully anymore. I've got a 30 year old tangerine tree that went dormant this winter and then came back kicking, and I didn't cover it a single inch.
Peach trees are also fairly cold sensitive, but they need a minimum number of cold nights (40 F or lower) to produce fruit. So uh. Either cover them with a frost cloth as soon as it gets freezing out, or bring them inside in a big pot but leave them outside as long as you can. I wouldn't try to grow one from seed personally, but I've bought a couple saplings. Look for a variety that does well in your climate. Your local university might have made a hybrid.
You can grow and make your own tea leaves; the tree is a specific variety of Camellia. Grows well in the southern USA.
"pawpaw" trees are a fruit tree native to north-east america, cultivated by american indians. They're pretty cool. They grow well on the sides of hills. You can buy dormant saplings in the winter/late spring online. You need at least one male and one female. Deep tap roots.
You can GROW a banana tree, but you can't make it fruit unless you're in a tropical climate. I wouldn't bother. Even subtropical doesn't cut it.
Figs are cool but keep in mind that lots of people are allergic to their leaves.
In the case of most trees, long term, a pot is not a good idea, but for the first few years it's fine. Remember that every year the roots get bigger.
If you have a commercially sold tree seedling, the chances are it's been grafted at some point. If there's a knot or a notable bend in the lower part of the trunk, that's the graft point. Stuff that grows below that knot is going to be Not Delicious. Pick off growths below the graft point.
A note on COMPOST:
composting is a great way to enrich your shit, but watch out, because it also produces mildew, mold, flies, and scavengers.
The lowest effort version of composting is simply to take your tea leaves/coffee grounds out of the pot when you're done with them and let them dry out somewhere--a bowl or a tupperware, idk--then save them to mix into your potting soil later. Minimum amount of fungus, no bugs. You can do this in your house. Unbleached paper also works, and basically any "dry" organic material.
The more intense version includes things like egg shells, banana skins, things that will attract pests and grow mold. You don't want this in your house. Also the shells of beans, discarded lettuce greens, tops of strawberries--etc. Most of this stuff is of too little caloric value to attract rats, so it's okay to keep near your house.
But the more "food" stuff you start to add, like rotten vegetables and table scraps, the more rat appealing it becomes. Don't get over ambitious. That stuff needs to be 50 ft away from your house minimum.

BkDk W.I.P. section/preview
Alright, so this is a fic I have no idea when it will be finished (especially since I'm planning to work more on my Nexomon fics for a while and the Spookfest event on the Creative Chaos discord server), but I have one section complete and figured I'd post it here. It's a really rough draft/barely edited, but it's also the scene that started the fic.
Title: Hearts in the Right Places
Summary: Bakugou’s and Midoriya’s secret relationship gets exposed on national television in a nine-second video. Thankfully, all of class 3A has their backs. Even if it’s not always in the most… conventional way.
(Basically, I wanted super-protective of BkDk class 1A family chaos)
*potential trigger warnings: Homophobia, previous forced outing
Middle school Katsuki would be screaming with rage, explosions, and death threats at the current situation. Same with first year U.A. student Katsuki. Second year Katsuki would have still been pissed as hell and die insisting that, no, he had no fuckin’ idea who these idiots were.
Third-year Katsuki was still more than a little pissed, but mostly content to sit back and watch.
Shitty Hair, Sparky, and Elbows had forced him to go on the weekly store run (mostly Elbows, because very few people could stop the other two from going fucking nuts and bringing back bags of only meat and shitty junk food, respectively). The group had made it through grocery shopping, but Sparky started bitching about being thirsty halfway back to the dorms. When Elbows joined him (just as they just so happened to be passing by one of those “extra-healthy”, expensive-as-fuck smoothy places), Katsuki decided fuck it.
Of course, the idiots wanted to sit and chat, playing the ‘but-you’ve-been-spending-all-your-time-with-Izuku’ card. And then the ‘be-careful-or-we’ll-think-you-like-him-more-than-us’ one.
The three morons got all pathetically dramatic when Katsuki pointed out that, damn straight he liked Deku more than them. That’s why he was fucking dating the damn nerd.
Only once Elbows promised to deal with Baker if his shitty two percent milk went bad (and Shitty Hair, Raccoon Eye’s overly-sweet ice cream that she just had to have) did Katsuki decide fuck it again.
So there they were, his idiots chatting away while Katsuki sipped on some green drink Elbows had plopped in front of him. If Sparky hadn’t noticed some bastards with cameras ‘sneaking’ around, they probably could have gotten back to U.A. home free. No villain attacks (take that, Deku).
“-and that’s why toasters are way better than micro- Isn’t that the gossip tabloid that first published that video of Blasty and Izuku?” Sparky pointed at the bushes that lined the juice shop’s patio area. Shitty Hair set down his drink to glance over his shoulder while Elbows leaned to the side to see around the redhead.
“Fucker’s been there for five minutes”, Katsuki grumbled. And the morons wondered why they failed Caterpillar-sensei’s last awareness test.
Sparky tilted his head like a dumbass puppy. “And you haven’t blow them up yet?”
Oh, Katsuki really fucking wanted to, but…
“That would just make things worse”, Elbows explained. “You know how those lowlifes would jump onto Katsuki blasting their cameras.” The lanky teen took a long, loud sip of his shitty-looking smoothy. “Even if they really deserve it.”
The leaves loudly rustled as the shitty pair of paparazzi ‘crept’ closer.
  “So unmanly” Shitty Hair muttered.
Sparky suddenly shot to his feet, hands slamming onto the table. “You know what. They’ve been dragging two of my friends through the mud for shit. That’s it. I’m going to go put an end to this.” The boy downed the rest of his drink and marched over to the reports. “Hey, you! I-!”
“Wait, Denki!” Shitty Hair’s chair hit the ground as the redhead tried to grab the blond dumbass, but he missed. “Bro! You can’t just-!” The redhead darted over just as Sparky was pulling Camera Jackass #2 out of the bushes.
And that’s where Katsuki was now: ass still sitting on the ugly-as-fuck patio chair - scooted just enough for a better view of the upcoming shitstorm without looking too interested – and finishing off the surprisingly good whatever drink Elbows had gotten him.
Elbows was already half out of his seat when he realized the blond had no intention of moving. “You don’t think we stop them or something?”
Katsuki took a moment to check on the perishable groceries. Nothing looked ruined yet. “Nah.” Besides, as much as he wanted to shove the fucker’s camera down their throats in large, exploded pieces (and the rest up their damn asses), this was probably the closed thing to revenge the blond would be able to get without a fucking lecture.
The other boy slowly sat back down, his seat already giving him a front-row view.
“-don’t you have any sense of manliness?” Shitty Hair was attempting to guilt Jackass-with-a-cheap-ass-camera #1.
“Yeah!” Sparky jumped in. “Like, dudes, I get you need your clickbait-“
“Ah!” Cheap-ass-camera #2 cut in. “The video wasn’t clickbait, but real news. After all, the general public needs to trust potential pro heroes” (fuck him, Katsuki and Deku were practically already official pros!), “And if two of them are willing to engage in such explicit behavior in public-“
“ ‘Explicit?’” Shitty Hair quoted. “You wouldn’t call it that if they were a straight couple!”
“They weren’t even frenching!” Sparky added. “Like, sure, it wasn’t a peck, but freaking Disney has more ‘explicit’ kisses!”
Katsuki’s phone buzzed, the nerd’s name popping up.
Shitty Nerd: Kacchan!! Stop them!!!!
The blond frowned. Who was Deku talking about? He wasn’t back at the dorms ye-
“Uh, Katsuki?” Elbow’s phone was going off like the Old Hag when she saw someone wearing stripes and polka dots at the same time. “Are you seeing the class chat right now?”
Katsuki rolled his eyes, so that’s what was causing his friend’s phone to go off like a bomb. “I mute the damn thing”, he muttered as he switched apps. The one time he didn’t his phone almost didn’t survive because IcyHot had gotten into a rich person spat with Ponytail and Twinkles over fuckin’ tea at eleven-fucking-pm.
Ears: LMAO!!
Ponytail: She really is
Round Face: Deku-kun’s a strawberry
Round Face: He keeps ducking behind the couch but can’t help himself from popping back up to watch
Pinky: Like a whack-a-mole!
Twinkles: c’est magnifique!
IcyHot: Do they not realize that the reporters have gone live?
            Another text from Deku.
Shitty Nerd: KACCHAN!
Deku.
Shitty Nerd: YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!
“Plus, you have no idea what you’ve done!” Sparky was still going off on Ugly Camera #1 and #2. “Do you? Do you have to live with the consequences of your actions?! No, no you don’t! Because people like you jacka- jerks never think about how their actions can make life a living he- heck for other people!”
Elbows had one hand plastered over his mouth, eyes darting between his phone and the  two idiots ripping the two camera creeps a new one. “I don’t-“ the guy broke down laughing, “I don’t know which is better!”
Katsuki shrugged. “Like the extras aren’t recording this shit.”
“-any idea how fu- freaking single the rest of us feel?” The taller blond was ranting. “And I’m not even single! But that’s how disgustingly sappy they can be now because you jerks outed them and the rest of us have to deal with their PDA!”
Shitty Hair nodded. “And it doesn’t even count as that! They’ll just be sitting next to each other and you can see the manly hearts! Do you know how dang strange that is? I platonically love my bro, but Bakubro and hearts shouldn't be in the same sentence!”
“Especially Izuku”, Sparky added. “He’s way, way worse. And he was bad before they got together.”
Shitty Nerd: Do u hate me?
Nope
Should I clear that up on national TV too?
Shitty Nerd: WHY?!?!?!?!?????
Elbows finished his drink with a loud slurp. “You’re taking this invasion of privacy surprising well”, he commented.
“I’m gonna kill them later”, Katsuki promised.
Bird Brain: Revelry in the chaos
Octopus: Not ‘in the dark’?
Round Face: Chaos

Octopus: Making fools of themselves
Pinky: Being themselves
Octopus: I was going to add ‘for the sake of their friend’
Octopus: But yeah
Ponytail: Guess we’ll be getting another PR class.
Eyebags: wtf is going on here
Eyebags: oh
Eyebags: nvm
“- should be family-friendly.” Camera Jackass #1 had something that was probably supposed to be a smug-ass grin but just came across as constipated; all full of shit. “Pro heroes are no longer only responsible for catching villains, but upholding society’s moral code and-“
Shitty Hair crossed his arms. “Says the same ‘journalists’ who plaster images of us beat up and bloody on magazine covers all the time.”
Grape: that’s just BS
Grape: the ‘family-friendly’ part
Grape: that magazine has the best spreads!
Pinky:

Pinky: -ish

Tail: Didn’t they just go 2 the store?
Baker: I swear, if the frozen go bad AGAIN
Pinky: MY ICE CREAM!
IcyHot: I could re-freeze it?
Baker: No
Baker: We are NOT doing that again
Ponytail: The flavor was severely diminished
Ears: watery
Ears: you mean watery
Shitty Nerd: GUYS!!!
Shitty Nerd: Kacchan’s ignoring me!!
Shitty Nerd: can someone else text him and make this stop?!?!?
Eyebags: Damn
Eyebags: that’s harsh
Eyebags: it’s like he lives to piss people off
Eyebags: oh wait he does
Frog: … Do you really want Bakugou-chan to step in?

Octopus: good luck with that
Eyebags: it’s like you don’t know your classmates
Round Face: can we all just appreciate Bakugou’s RBF in the background?
Round Face: I need a meme of that
Baker: I can assure you that someone’s already on it
Rocky: It’s already up, actually…
Tail: How do u no that??
Gloves: The HeroNet bird icon
Bird Brain: the laws of the internet
Bird Brain: and all their darkness
IcyHot: I think Hanta looking like he’s going to die from laughter would be better
Grape: Bias

Eyebags: at least he’d stop spamming that one of Yao-Momo drinking tea and the purse-snatcher
Ponytail: I caught him!
Shitty Nerd: KACCHAN! I SEE YOU LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE
Shitty Nerd: DO YOU WANT ME TO DIE OF EMBARRASSMENT?!?
Eyebags: …Have you met your boyfriend?
Round Face: ^^^^^^^^^^
Ponytail: We’re all very proud of you for not committing homicide on national T.V., Bakugou, but Sero should really step in at this point.
Ears: OH FUCK
Ears: IS HE REALLY GOING TO?
“Hey!” Shitty Hair’s shout reached Katsuki’s ears just before a damn microphone was shoved into the blonde’s personal space.
“You’ve been awfully quiet, Bakugou”, the piece of shit sneered. “No defense? Aren’t you worried about the effect this will have on your career, assuming you get your license in the first place. After all, you were one of the two students who failed to get your provisional the first time, right?”
Katsuki clenched his fist, stopping the sparks of his Quirk from blowing up. ‘Bastard’, he cursed. ‘Fucking extra who doesn’t know goddamn shit.’
But if he snapped, the fuckers would just use that against him and Deku. Mainly Deku. So the blond forced himself to breath out the righteous murder. “No fucking comment.”
“So close”, Elbows whispered before clearing his throat. “Actually”, he told Camera Ass #1… 2? Eh, Katsuki couldn’t remember which was which, and he really didn’t give a flying fuck.
Tail: That… actually went pretty well
Pinky: Good job on not doing murder on TV Blasty!
Eyebags: yay
Octopus: ‘Doing’ murder?
Bird Brain: You do remember that Bakugou is reading this, correct?
Bird Brain: He is literally staring into these dark depths as we converse
Capitellar-sensei: He’s not the only one
Katsuki choked, wheezing hard as he tried to swallow the last bit of his drink so they could fucking leave.
“Bro!” Shitty Hair was hovering over the blond as he coughed. “You okay?!”
“See!” Sparky pointily scolded the Camera Shits. “We’re just out and about, chilling, and you almost kill him!”
“What hap-?” The redhead was interrupted by Elbows as the latter banged his fist on the table, once again trying to cover his ugly snorting with the other hand. Katsuki, ignoring the whining extras, tilted his phone so Shitty Hair could read over his shoulder.
Shitty Nerd: Sensei! Shitty Nerd: please make them stop!
Round Face: bit too late for that Deku-kun
Eyebags: shit
Eyebags: who summoned the teacher?
Glasses: I can assure you all that it was not me!
Glasses: I gave up on receiving efficient help in these types of situations last year.
IcyHot: I’m pretty sure all he needed to do was turn on a TV
Capitellar-sensei: Not even that.
Capitellar-sensei: Mic just needed to turn on the TV.
Capitellar-sensei: Kaminari, Kirishima. Come to my office once you’re back on campus.
“Oh shit”, Shitty Hair muttered, causing Sparky to snatch Elbow’s phone off the table as well. The tall teen’s face paled faster than Deku’s would if he thought he missed out on rare All Might merch as he scrolled through the chat.
Grape: I want a meme of the paparazzi
Grape: they’re just frozen from the stupidity
Gloves: oh me too
Rocky: also already up
Ponytail: They really don’t appear to know what to do, do they?
Eyebags: Nope
Ears: Like Denki during math class
Gloves: LMIAO SO DAMN MUCH
Round Face: Damn
Round Face: straight for the throat
Shitty Nerd: If I apply for work-study in the U.S. do u think that’s far enough away?
Don’t you fucking dare
Their food is shit
Eyebags: Boyfriend of the year
Pinky: He lives!
Pinky: it’s hard to tell on the screen
Bird Brain: We are witnessing the descent into obvious darkness as seen by our elders
IcyHot: They’re just on their phones?
Octopus: Exactly
“O-kay”, Elbows told the Camera extras. He grabbed Katsuki’s empty cup, tossed it in the trash can, then used his Quirk to latch onto Sparky and Shitty Hair as he backed away. “We really need to get going.”
“Oi”, Katsuki grumbled, pocketing his phone and picking up more than his fucking fair share of the damn groceries. “I ain’t carrying all this myself.” He handed one bag in particular to Shitty Hair. “Racoon Eye’s melting ice cream.”
~
Deku, still strawberry-faced, ambushed Katsuki and Elbows right as they walked into the dorm. “You”, the nerd growled, “are horrible.”
Stepping out of the way while the crazy fuckers that were his classmates tackled Plain Face for the rest of the groceries, Katsuki held up the one bag he insisted on not only carrying, but keeping in the shade under the table during the shitshow. “Guess I’ll make something other than katsudon with this shit”, he grinned.
“Kacchan!” the nerd pouted. “You wouldn’t.”
            The blond cackled. “Nah-“
Pinky’s horrified screech cut through all other conversations. Baker’s wasn’t far behind.
“Melted?” Deku correctly guessed as he followed the blond away from the murderous pink trash panda and into the kitchen. “Anyway, I guess it was nice that Eijiro and Denki were so supportive, it’s just…” The greenette trailed off.
“They’re a bunch of dumbass”, Katsuki finished, ruffling the nerd’s hair.
(And if the blond made enough dinner for the whole class, he had just been distracted keeping Shitty Hair and Sparky on a tight leash in the store and accidentally bought too many ingredients.)

...so anyway
I am here for exactly three things in RWBY as it stands:
Weiss x happiness/fulfillment
Neo
Sun Wukong should we literally ever see him again
The bees are bad and boring, put both of them with literally any other character and it is a more compelling ship, that kiss was so fucking poorly animated holy hell, -1000000/10
Whatever Ruby has going on...? Kinda boring
Dilf Jaune & thirsty Weiss? Get it bitch lmao
Like honorary mention to Dilf/angsty Jaune in general but also the amount of character bloat in this show just keeps getting worse like why should I care about Alyx or Alyx 2 or the Caterpillar or the King or whatever else like when will my other characters return from the war

Parijat
The Parijat flower is often called Pavazhamalli. This Parjiat tree is said to the heavenly plant as this tree plant is believed to be bought by Lord Krishna to the earth. Majorly this flowering plant has much spiritual & medicinal importance.
Tumblr media
Parijat tree
The Parijat tree is a small shrub, a perennial plant that grows up to the height of 3 to 4 feet tall tree.
Tumblr media
Parijat flower
The flowers are very fragrant and look like coral (pavalam) with an attractive long orange stigma. Pinwheel flowers contain 5 to 8 petals together. Flower blooms in clusters. And this plant follows dusk & dawn timings.
Tumblr media
Night jasmine
Parijat common name is Night flowering jasmine. The reason behind this night blooming is due to hormone called as florigen (flower-generating hormone) it gets migrated from leaves to flowering shoots during the day time & it collects in flowering shoots, induces flower during night time.
Tumblr media

The Family Is All There Is
Think of those old, enduring connections found in all flesh—the channeling wires and threads, vacuoles, granules, plasma and pods, purple veins, ascending boles and coral sapwood (sugar- and light-filled), those common ligaments, filaments, fibers and canals. Seminal to all kin also is the open mouth—in heart urchin and octopus belly, in catfish, moonfish, forest lily, and rugosa rose, in thirsty magpie, wailing cat cub, barker, yodeler, yawning coati. And there is a pervasive clasping common to the clan—the hard nails of lichen and ivy sucker on the church wall, the bean tendril and the taproot, the bolted coupling of crane flies, the hold of the shearwater on its morning squid, guanine to cytosine, adenine to thymine, fingers around fingers, the grip of the voice on presence, the grasp of the self on place. Remember the same hair on pygmy dormouse and yellow-necked caterpillar, covering red baboon, thistle seed and willow herb? Remember the similar snorts of warthog, walrus, male moose and sumo wrestler? Remember the familiar whinny and shimmer found in river birches, bay mares and bullfrog tadpoles, in children playing at shoulder tag on a summer lawn? The family—weavers, reachers, winders and connivers, pumpers, runners, air and bubble riders, rock-sitters, wave-gliders, wire-wobblers, soothers, flagellators—all brothers, sisters, all there is. Name something else.

Nan (Part 2)
In other places across the wide world folks might have called Old Nan a witch or worse, they might have even done awful things to her as punishment for this.  From time to time one hears tales of such things. Mostly people from Blackwoods shook their heads when they heard these stories. Sure, a Preacher man passed through their town every month to share with them the word of God from the back of his wagon, accompanied by women of all ages dressed in white.  He sang of the terrible glory of the one true Lord and promised grand rewards for those who followed him and horror for those who did not. The citizens of Blackwoods attended these meetings with great interest; they knew of God and were sure to thank His Glorious Name on feast days and other such occasions.  They knew from the Preacher that God had especially requested of them that they not suffer witches, but this didn’t apply to Old Nan.
God was something fairly new to the world, but Nan and the wisdom that she held went back as far as memory itself. Even the little children knew that there were spirits in the woods to be cajoled or circumvented. That the meaner the bands around the wooly caterpillars were the harsher the winter to come, or how to find water with two slim branches from a willow tree. Preacher man seemed to think this was a sort of thing to be mixed up with the thing he called witchcraft, but the people of Blackwoods just nodded and said nothing. They weren’t ones for interfering or drawing attention.  To do otherwise might mean bring an end to Preacher’s monthly visits, or worse yet his wrath. They liked their world just as it was, and they liked Old Nan just as she was.
Tradition held that on a new babe’s seventh day in the world its parents would take it to Nan to hear what, if any, fortune there was to be spoken of it.  While it was true that fate could be a fickle thing, there were things Nan could see in an infant’s eyes when they were fresh to the world that might tell of the path that had been set for it. Usually what she saw was mild, that they would grow up with a knack for woodcraft or they would live a long life. Often it would be cryptic so that it would be many years before Nan’s brief prophesy would be made clear.
Such was the fate of poor Mansell Forten.  Nan had only “Ware the dark waters” to offer his parents, who took this to mean that a death by drowning was in their child’s future.  They kept him out of lakes and creeks, making him stand aside on even the hottest of days watching while his friends and siblings dove into the cooling waters of the Lake splashing each other and laughing. He was a quiet obedient child, and never betrayed his heartache over not being able to join in the fun. He looked upon his parents drawn faces and knew it was best to keep these thoughts to himself.
Years later when Mansell was a grown man with children of his own he found himself in an older and unfamiliar part of the woods while hunting for deer for supper. It was there that he found an old deep well grown over with wild vines. Being thirsty from his labors he drew upon it and drank deep. There was no way Mansell could have known that the reason that this well had been long abandoned was that it had gone bad and it’s water poison to a man. This was the dark water Nan had foreseen for him, and as his soul fled his failing body he did not regret the times missed swimming with his playmates, but instead felt sorrow for the parents who had worried so over nothing.

Screaming walls, mystical words sound familiar, frighten soul sense the nerve and beats with gulp of validation, she loves me. Sharp nails stab over my chest, kiss of posion "baby its a wrong time you shouldn't be here"
" Thirsty throat, bleeding thighs, agony of pain and joy of caterpillar divine, she rested in her arms and approach me to stay till he goes away and accept the phrase of baby I love you and we will stay together forever"
