Malitae hummed watching Quixis move around his island. They noticed how the other hovered slightly above the ground. Frowning Malitae moved to stand near them.

“Masterpiece? You alright?”

“I dont want to ruin your art”

“You won't ruin anything masterpiece, you make beautiful art!”

Malitae thought for a second before she weaved a pair of gloves. They silently handed them to Quixis, smiling.

“You sure?”

“Quixis my love when was the last time you touched someone or something?”

Quixis went silent at that. It had been a long time, probably since before their world collapsed. Probably not since the hug they had gotten from [Glitched] before everything went wrong.

“I don't remember…” they mumbled as a response. Malitae moved closer to them but Quixis flinched away. They didn't want to hurt her.

“You won't hurt me masterpiece, it'll be okay,” Malitae soothed gently tugging the gloves onto Quixis’ hands. Quixis realized in that moment how long it had been since they had gotten a hug. Or any sort of affection. Quixis felt the complete exhaustion wash over them as they leaned on Malitae. “See? You're not changing anything love,” Malitae whispered in their ear.

Quixis had forgotten how comforting it was to be held. They had long since forgotten the feeling, the feeling of being loved. But they had Malitae now, they had a wonderful partner. For at least a little longer.. Quixis knew this world would eventually crumble, they all did at one point or another.

They knew not to get attached.

But they had, they'd gotten attached to her, to the wonderful deity who was still reminding them that they hadn't hurt him. Quixis felt themself get picked up and carried somewhere. They were nervous at first but once they realized it was just Malitae they relaxed. They didn't know why the wack wouldn't touch her. But currently they didn't care.

For the first time in a very long time spanning longer than this world, Quixis felt safe.

Malitae watched from her building, Quixis was supposed to be back soon! They had had to leave to check on Icarus whom she had learned was their tether to this world. There was a flash of color at the edge of his vision. Malitae turned to see one of the blocks in their room quickly changing between various red blocks. Normally Malitae would see a block or two change when Quixis was about to show up but never this many or this quickly.

It seemed like they were warning her….

The reasoning behind was quickly answered as Malitae heard people landing outside. A quick glance outside said it was three people

The one who went by Ven, Creations kid, and Creation himself. Wait, why was Creation here? Malitae grew nervous. Quixis appeared next to them.

“I- I tried to stop them! Mal your in danger! I couldn't- I couldn't stop him!” Quixis rambled, panic filling their voice as they looked up at the taller. Malitae looked down at the smaller and pulled them into a hug.

“It'll be okay Masterpiece, they haven't found me before and they wont this time,” Malitae soothed running his hands through Quixis’ hair. Malitae could hear the intruders walking around looking for him but he couldn't care less. They wouldn't find her not while she had someone to protect.

Quixis had fallen asleep on Malitae while they waited for the intruders to leave. Malitae smiled and silently played with their hair. Fable had long since left their island and Malitae was relieved. Malitae felt herself drift off to sleep content to spend time with their love.

Welcome to the third part of this adventure! This is the twins reactions separately but their thoughts/feelings may overlap. The characters may not be how you imagine! I apologize for any poor jokes, bad spelling, and terrible grammar. Without further ado, enjoy the content. ♡

Goth MC! who does the make up, the white foundation the "crazy" eyeliner, the black/grey or dark color eyeshadow and blush. Classic black or red lipstick with matching nail polish on the Mc's fingers. The saggy looking hair that matches the make up, oh so well. Goth MC! Who has the unkept look, but at second glance you can tell their well kept. At least to some extent. The Mc has raggy, ripped looking outfit but upon closer inspection its clear the outfit is perfectly kept up with. Goth MC! Who has an over extent looking outfit, looking like rags on rags, and the Mc has a dead looking apperance appearing to have risen from the grave. Almost the perfect example of a goth baddie. How will the brothers react?

Beel

When Goth Mc drops into the Devildom, Beel wasn't really concerned. Beel is sweet baby boy nonjudgemental he just doesn't care what others look like or wear. As long as Mc doesn't steal his food or hurt his family, he'd be chill. It might even take him some time to notice Goth Mc's appearance. Pls be patient he's always focused on food. He's the Avatar of Gluttony dude! The first time he meets Mc he doesn't pay attention, instead complains to Lucifer about being hungry. Someone feed the poor bby.

Beel finds Goth Mc's look to be unique. He thinks its cute. He can relate to the fact that some people may find Goth Mc to be scary. People somehow find this giant teddy bear to be scary all the time! Beel isn't threatened or scared by Mc's apperance. He will gladly listen to Goth Mc rant about goth culture or dark things in general while he munches on food. Beel will also gladly accompany Mc to haunted houses as long as he has food. Dont want him to go on a rampage. Beel may raise his eyebrows even jump a little in shock, but hes ultimately a great haunted house partner. He wont leave Mc behind and will even put himself between the thing thats scaring them and Mc.

Dating with Beel is adorable! Beel likes to do Goth Mc's intrests because he likes seeing Mc happy! Beel will gladly watch anytype of horror or scary film with Mc. "I'll be focused on the popcorn anyways." Although Beel is indeed focused on the popcorn. He still takes Mc's intrests seriously, he'll watch the film's and listen to Mc rant about how it was well done or poorly executed. Beel will nod along while Mc rants and occasionally say what parts he liked.

Beel will happily go out places with Goth Mc. He thinks nothing of it, he just wants to go out to eat with someone he cares about. Such a cutie. Beel may be a gentle giant, but he will gladly use his "scary" apperance to make people leave Mc alone. The poor idiot still wants to bully Mc for being goth? Dont worry Mc! Beel's always hungry! "...its bad to eat other demons..? ....i was just trying to protect you Mc..." *sad puppy Beel* Mc! Apologize! Sweet Bby did nothing wrong! Go get him a snack!

Beel doesnt care about apperance so he isnt the best with fashion gifts. However Beel takes gifts seriously and always puts so much thought into them. If he gets something from someone and it remind him of Goth Mc, he won't hesitate to give it to them. Mc might occasionally receive goth gifts from him, but Beel mostly gives them dark colored foods. For example, a black cupcake with a bat or a skeleton. Something sweet and simple like that.

Belphie

When Belphie first meets Mc in general is wack. But we wont talk about that. Goth Mc he'll give a eyebrow raise maybe even a small smirk. Belphie would defiently bully/tease Goth Mc. "...You look more dead than the skeletons inside people's coffins.. *yawn*" dont be fooled, Belphie lives for Goth Mc. Simp! Jk I just feel like belphie would really be into a Goth Mc. Belphie doesn't give a damn what someone wears. Mans can barely stay awake to care. I honestly feel like Belphie has probably been called emo or something similar. Belphie and Mc would defiantly get into playful fights over which one is better, goth or emo. Both are valid ♡

Imagine Goth Mc dating Belphie and then people at R.A.D start calling the two of them the "emo couple" the fights ..mostly playfights.. This could lead to. Like imagine some demon walking up and saying their the emo couple or calling Goth Mc, emo in general.

Goth Mc: "I'm not emo!! Belphie! you're killing my vibe" "...you think I've killed youre vibe?... *yawn* ...we both know i improved you're vibe. ...Who likes Goths anyways. *insert that cocky smirk he gives*" He says all of this playfully he is just a little shit. Just likes to tease and deflect his actual feelings.

Dating with Belphie is playful. Belphie is always teasing Mc, and he expects MC to tease him back. He'll say the rudest comment ever, but the grin on his face tells Mc that hes just playing. Hopefully. Belphie may be playful and he may bully Mc, but hes the only one allowed to bully Mc. Some random demon comes up and trash talks Goth Mc's look well- "..*bored yawn* ....you're just mad that a walking skeleton looks better than you..." Yup. Thats his way of dealing with it. He'll insult them and Mc at the same time. Belphie is a bitch mean so if he doesn't hurt the random demons feelings he'll either put the demon to sleep. If he can't do that he'll just give the demon nightmares.

Belphie doesnt do a lot of activities, he'll just sleep next to Goth Mc as they do their thing. Scary movie? Just dont wake him up by jumping around. Make up? Belphs sleeping on Mc's lap. Weird ritual? Can he still sleep on Mc's lap while they do it? Belphie straight up doesn't care man. Just sit or lay somewhere Mc, its Belphies nap time and he needs his favorite pillow.

Belphie sleeps all the time. So gifts isn't something he just randomly does often. I feel like his gifts would be cute things like goth bed attire. Oh, he was out at the store and saw this black bat plush. No he didn't get it because it reminded him of you, Mc. He got it because its soft and comfortable. Liar. If Belphie gives Mc any other gifts he either oddly found it somewhere or had one of his older siblings get it. Belphies lazy, but that doesn't mean hes not thinking of you, Mc.

Make it naturally white but also make him fucjing stupid so he dyes it with Ink because he doesn’t want whit4 hair cause he’s DUMB.

Look alive. Make him wear a ponytail and give him the black dyed hair COWARDS.

Anyways that parts over. Now I’m going to talk about my issues with how people draw him in his human form a lot.

I feel like the twinkification is real. All human designs I’ve found of Garmadon that don’t use legos ambiguous yellow color are pasty white and this madness must STOP!!! I think if u wanna make him a cracker it’s ok. It’s fine. But it is a little boring seeing the same designs scatter my Garmadon picture wall(/J I DONT HABE THA)

‘And also while I’m at it, I’m gonna be real and say that any design for wu in the series is pretty good. Still mad he looks like a normal guy. TBH. Many fan designs give him more dragon like traits, and I think that’s so cool, but I’ve always had a specific idea I’ve never seen executed personally. I think Wu would chop his horns off if he had them permanently out.

Wu clearly isn’t a fan of just showing off his dragon or Oni traits. He straight up doesn’t do it, even as a kid (he should honestly be shown with those traits cause he really doesn’t give a fuck as a child) and I believe that his tormented old man position (see the many drawings and tweets from the shows authors and writers) he wouldn’t exactly be drawn to having his traits on display. The completely reasonable solution? Scar himself permanently by wacking them off with a blade. Sounds like something he’d do in young adult hood. His horns being out insinuates he can’t just shapeshift to make them go away, so erm!! Pretty smart solution ngl!!!

The silence that was in that livingroom was practically unbarable to say the least. A awkward and uncomfortable feeling of both guilt and unspoken anger seemed to lay over everyone like a blanket. (Y/N) still only in her bathrobe bringing out a few cups of coffee for everyone seated in her livingroom and took a seat as well on her recliner taking a Sip of her Coffee. Kurt was the first to try and speak up, Taking a shaky breath as he touched the wrist watch that had been gifted to him to hide his natural appearance while out in the world. “(Y/N) im-” “Shut up- I dont want to hear it” (Y/N) said in a harsh tone as she sipped her coffee, Kurt wincing at her words as he sunk into the couch more. 

“(Y/N) I know this may be an uncomfortable situation, However we want to help and apologize for our Actions and Inactions. It was well assumed you didnt want to be found and without assistance me nor Jean would have been able to find you” Xavier said, Sighing as he wanted to attempt to smooth things over at least a little. Jean nodded as well but she clearly didnt want to meet (Y/N)’s eyes in this. 

“Professor, No offense but id have rather jump off a cliff to speak with anyone from that school again- Even if you did nothing it doesnt change the way i feel about the people who did- who you have dragged to my livingroom” 

Both Jean and Kurt winced at this. Logan sighing in his seat as he sat up, clearing having enough of the awkwardness of the situation. 

“Fine, You dont gotta talk to these two. But i wanna talk about this-” 

Logan pulled up Leon backpack and Skateboard from Milo that had been tucked to the side. (Y/N) face turning into one of anger real quick as she shot up from her seat “Where did you get those” She growled out as Logan knew what the anger of a protective mother looked like and handed over the items. “Well i saw two clones of Elf here yesterday trying to steal my bike and then Teleport away” Logan said. The room growing painfully quiet at this as (Y/N) seemed to slowly sit back down like she was frozen, Not looking at any of them. 

“Let me get dressed and we will talk more...”

Josh’s House

“You two are dead meat” The twins heard for the tenth time that day as they glared at their friend seated on a bean bag with his hand deep in a bag of Cheetos, Josh was not only the twins best friend but the only other mutant the boys knew. Having the ability to heal those he touches which was what led to the trio meeting after Leon sliced open his ankle in 2nd grade. The rest being history 

Leon seated on the Josh’s bed wacked the teen with his tail which resulted in the blonde boy to choke on his Cheetos and throw the remote to the TV at Milo in return which was easily dodged. Milo seated on the floor against Josh’s beanbag as he ignored the two boys. Staring at his hand as he was flicking his skin back and forth from its natural blue color to the false skin he wore during the day, watching as the scales flicked back and forth. “Are we monsters?” He finally mumbled to himself. 

Josh turned his head to face Milo on the floor next to him, Pausing for a moment before tossing the half empty bag of chips to the other blue boy as Josh nudged Milo. “Nah man, We arent monsters... I think we are bad ass and hell, Ive been hearing about how there are more and more people like us coming out every day. Besides, We are too hot to be Monsters!” Milo smiled at this as he looked up at Josh who smiled down at his, a bit of a purple color coming to his cheeks “Yeah, I guess” Milo said with a shy voice as he blushed and Josh laughed at his embarrassment. 

“GAAAYYYYY” Leon yelled out with a mouthful of Cheetos as he pointed at the two jokingly. Josh jumping up and going to punch his friend with a laugh as the two started to play fight “Nasty Ass!”, Milo staying seated and watched them with a sad frown on his face. 

There was then a knock on the door as Ms. Nancy stepped into the bedroom, Smiling at the trio sweetly. “Hey Boys, (Y/N) just called and wants you to head back to the house. The twins nodded at this and stood up as Josh followed suit “Ill head out with them Mom” Josh chimed as Nancy nodded and left for the boys to get ready.

The boys sang as they rode down the street. Milo on the back of Josh’s Bike as the three boys sang along with Josh’s Portable Stereo in his backpack.

“And all the girlies say I'm pretty fly for a white guy"

The trio essentually screamed along to as they felt themselves. Milo even turning up the stereo more as the world around them faded and they could on ly think of the stupid fun they where experiencing. 

“Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, cinco, seís”

Leon laughed as he got off his board and rushed towards the door. Usually His mom was asleep in her room which ment free access to snacks and the Livingroom to themselves. “I call dibs on the Doritos!” Milo yelled as he jumped from Josh’s bike and went to charge at his brother who was trying to rush in the house first. “Bite My Ass Milo!” He yelled as he slammed open the door ready to close it on his twin but froze. Seeing a group full of adults staring at him and his mother frowning deeply at him. Leon tried to give a smile at his mother but the door swung open fully smacking him in the back as Josh rushed in with Milo. The two boys giggling at seeing the other teen on the floor but that quickly stopped at seeing the adults too. 

“Uhhh- H-Hey Miss (Y/N)-” “Josh- Go home. Now” She said sharply and the other teen did a fast u-turn leaving the twins on their own. It didnt take long for the twin teens to see the rough looking guy on the couch who they had messed with his bike and the color draining on their faces. 

Awkward Silence... Milo and Leon stared at their mother who was staring hard at them. Milo glancing between their Mom and the seated strangers who where all staring at them with what could only be described as shock. After a few more moments of this shock, the guy in the wheelchair spoke first, Smiling as he turned his chair to fully face the teens. “Hello, You must be Milo and Leon. Ive head many things about you two from your mother. My name is Professor Charles Xavier, Im actually a old teacher of your Mothers” He said kindly as he smiled at the two. “U-Um.. Hey” Milo mumbled softly as he shifted awkwardly, Leon giving a head nod in greeting. Leon turned his head to look at the other adults- Some weird guy in a wheelchair, a fairly hot red head, that scary biker dude and then some dorky looking teacher guy who was staring at him hard. 

“I heard what happened yesterday” The Professor said to the twins. Smiling at them with a knowing look, Leon posture seemed to magically straighten and Milo glanced at his brother before- “BAMF” “BAMF” Both twins fled.

and i know mystreet was written in tandem with pdh but it doesnt make sense that they would include a wholesome friendship with travis and aphmau and then turn around and have them turn around to be strangers and travis flirting with her because he has an interest to her (but does... but does he actually??? or does he just like her because shes pretty like???)

thats why i like zanemau (as i will ramble abt in another post) so much because i was rooting so HARD for zane because he does flirt with her occasionally but its always backed up with a joke and he never showed any romantic interest for her. HE BECAME HER FRIEND FIRST. HE BECAME HER FRIEND FIRST. HE BECAME HER. FRIEND. FIRST.

and ofc im going to have the whole group genuinely become friends first but in mystreet it PISSES me off

ive never talked about it here but all of the guys (excluding zane and vylad) took the biggest brunt of the character assassination tirade that jason (jason. not jess. jason. i have a firm belief that jason was a bigger contributor to mystreet than jess) went on to reduce all of the characters to cheap knockoffs and unfunny flat, static characters. while their mcd characterizations werent perfect, theyre LEAPS and BOUNDS better than their mystreet variations

and you want to know why? because they probably sat there and looked at the original version of mystreet (and mcd season 2) and said "damn, aaron is a fucking boring character" because he IS. compared to the vast majority of the characters in mystreet and mcd, aaron is largely uninteresting! in mystreet he has no real motivations. no drive, no friends, no job (that we hear about) and we never see aaron and aphmau hang out UNLESS its a scene where garroth and laurence over-fucking-react to aphmau having friends (oh god forbid the woman have male friends!) and sure he has the ultima thing going for him but we never even start hearing about that until mystreet season 3 (and pdh season 2)

and in mcd hes even worse! hes just some (probably musty) dude who came out of nowhere and saved aphmau from werewolves and has a vendetta against zane (surprise surprise, look around fucko! you arent alone, the entirety of rua'an has an axe to grind against the fucker!! get in fucking line!!). hes even LESS interesting than mcd aaron because he legit has NOTHING GOING FOR HIM. he never even made conversation with aphmau unless she was being a damsel or they were alone!!

you know doki doki literature club? when monika starts fucking around with the character files and pumped all of the girl's worst, most undesirable traits to max to make herself appear more likeable to the mc? i imagine that was jason's idea to make the boys look terrible and aaron look like a hero.

also side note: the fact that jason looks nothing like aaron weirds me the fuck out. like aphmau is obviously jess' self insert with similar hair, skin, and eye color but aaron looks nothing like jason aside the color of their fucking eyes. wack.

anyway thats it. sorry its taking me so long to update any of this, ive been trying to you know do this whole "self care" shit. its been working really well but ive been spending less time online as a result! but im working on my notes and im trying to figure out how i want to write this out! i dont have the time to write a comic book but i was thinking about writing and posting it on ao3!!! what do you think?

I know i might sound egotistical, but i don't like how any official art (the art posted by cc) of alastair carstairs looks.

I will 100% reblog an Alastair Carstairs fanart that maybe doesn't fit my vision of him, i wont criticise it or anything bc they did this from their heart. They were passionate about it. I will shut my mouth and appreciate the hell out of it. Also i know that my fanarts will also clash with some ppl's perception of him

But, I actually hate coming across official art of Thomas and Alastair, here are my reasons,

> the proportions are always wack on these two specifically for some reason. If y'all remember thr scarf one, i remember trying to figure out the proportions there, Alastair's arms were short and it just irks me. Bc ppl are paid for this. This isn't a fanart, this is a Commission prolly, and it just takes me out of the whole piece immediately.

>Thomas doesnt have a single, solo art that actually looks nice. One that i actually like started to bother me for some reason, so i tracked the proportions and his forehead was too big, and just the whole thing tuned me off from the piece.

He also has a chariot (?) fanart, (him on top of a chariot) and im sorry to say that was one of the fucking ugliest of Official art of thomas, his whole thing was off, it was a perspective drawing, and it just failed, his head looked to big, his face was stiffer than wood, his body' perspective made my brain hurt, it was just not good.

Evilly reading a book? Why is thomas just flexing?? It makes no sense compared to the rest, matthew is laying there like a girl boss and that makes sense for him, like just these two are kinda awkwardly standing or sitting

Their art feels forced to me...i dont feel jack shit. And these are my favourite fucking characters i have seen absolutely beginner stuff, and i have cried over it. I just dont feel anything when i look at these official arts.

Here ends my very narcissistic rant. At the end of the day...cc can just make characters and fuck em up, i will take them, put them.in a box and shake it violently until i like them.

I will have to say, i love the coloring of these fanarts, even the ones that make me want to die, but yeah the drawing is just not there, they feel hollow and wonky, and i dont care how smooth and cool the colors looks when it feels completely emotionless.

Also for the clothes thing… IDK!!! Most of it does just come from my head but I do also spend a lot of time trying to pay attention to what people wear in public. Kids especially, it’s really fun when you can tell they’ve just been allowed to dress themselves and are going HAM with colors lmao. I’m also frequently at thrift stores and even if a lot of stuff there is incredibly tacky it’s worth looking at too! Most of the clothes I draw are probably some garbled chewed up form of something I saw in goodwill like 3 years ago. So I guess my advice for clothes is look at the people around you and also don’t be afraid of getting nuts with patterns because those things can be wack. I’m very glad you’re fond of the ones I draw :3 hope you’re having a good day <3

as someone on the ace spectrum i find it both hilarious and maddeningly frustrating that I can describe my experience with sexuality and sooo many allosexuals will dismiss it as "so... Like... normal......???"

I finally finished the rest of the bg after saying NOO I WON'T DETAIL IT IT'LL JUST BE DARK... SPENDS 2ISH HOURS IN DETAILS. EVEN THE STAIRS ONE PLANE OF THEM STILL TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO DO I SWEAR THIS DRAWING WILL KILL ME. I DONT EVEN LIKE HOW I DREW HIGH ROLLER ON IT ANYMORE but I hid her on a layer outside of this

I still have some details to get to in the new wallpaper, and unscrunch the dice a bit

I took the texture and layered it over my drawing so that it makes sense, and then I traced over it with my colors and then added shading according to the reference texture

Still some stuff to add tho

Then.. It's done..! I move to shading high roller but probably in a slightly more cel style mostly relying on layer effects like the rest of the background? Then I can get to the main multiply layers to darken things, drawing the light and adjusting the colors to make it look cooler and make hr in the light

And add texture overlays, possibly...? Then save several versions since I want a bg no hr version for future use. And a version without the shading and shadows and the light WITH High Roller

My current biggest issue with it is how I drew high roller. He looks off and wrong and I struggled with drawing the legs and getting the skegch done, I wasn't having a good time sketching that day and did my sketching type when I'M DESPERATE AND ART BLOCKY AND HAVING A HARD TIME and it SHOWS and I didn't know how to draw the legs and pose right necause I CANT DRAW LEEEEGSSSS LIKE THAT OR ANYTHING AHH and idk MAN I'm. idk ab u but i honestly find it appalling how they can use ai art lke. ive come across stuff from that ‘artist’ before n if i’m not wrong i believe its ai assisted art which is still at its core a detrimental thing to actual artists and yet theyre out here trying to make it big as a CREATOR like… at this point jus chatgpt ur fics

the use of ai is truly a hot potato, so here's my takes on it 🤧🤧 imo it's okay to use AI as a reference for practice, since i think a couple of artists use AI to study components and coloring techniques– my take is that it's fine to use if people are using it as a reference study and not using it to actually make their artwork, but i wouldn't personally use AI assistance simply because it feels a bit wonky to me.

what's not okay is using AI art, publishing it, claiming it as your own self made art and or denying the use of AI. it's pretty self explanatory.

also!!! i've come across some artists that actually use and let AI help modify/finish their works, idk if said artists are open to talking abt how they use ai but it's usually easy to spot. i personally do not like the idea of it LOL mostly bcs it feels more lifeless(?) and it kind of stunts your progress/growth yk...

you can let it give you directions but dont let it drive ur car. dykwim.

Im new to posting on tumblr (though i have lurked on this tag as a guest since this ship was a thing) and i have some thoughts on possible byler parallels to share! I’m trying to understand all the etiquette and everything, i tried to keep this post as short as i could to not crowd the tag, so i didn’t include any pics in this post. As has been picked up before, there are many parallels between Mazzy Starr and their family members and one specific one that i saw between Hopper and Mike was the slaying of the dragon in Will’s painting and Hopper slaying the demogorgon in the prison. Idk if its anything big but i thought it was interesting! 

Jopper Color Coding and Their Arc!

I know theres a few tik tok accs out there that talk a lot about color coding, but i hadnt seen a video about this: joyce and hopper’s matching outfits in vol 2. Was this supposed to be like hinting at their completed arc? Like color wise they are matching–maybe on the same page? I just thought it was interesting–and i was wondering if anyone had thoughts about the colors they used? Or maybe it was just supposed to be all american themed because of what Yuri takes into his cargo–the peanut butter, the hulk hogan shirt, and the red white and blue jackets.

The Platonic with a Capital P Parallels!

So this is (one reason) why i think Jancy will be canon in S5. While the Fruity Four are in the upside down, i noticed that most often whenever anything dangerous happens, Nancy and Steve are paired together, while Robin and Eddie are paired together. While this may lead some folks to believe that Steve and Nancy will be rekindling their ~romance~,, seeing it compared to Robin and Eddie makes me think otherwise. Robin is canonically lesbian, and Eddie is definately queer-coded, intentional or not. When in danger robin and eddie are physically close and almost sort of cuddling? Im pretty sure there are several scenes where they are even holding hands, but that could just be my memory being wacked. So what does this mean for steve and nancy? I just think its interesting that they are being compared to a definite platonic pairing like eddie and robin :)

The Rabbit???

This isnt a parallel but i was wondering if anyone had talked about this??? Or had any thoughts??? I hadnt seen anyone talk about this, but theres a scene at the end of vol 2 where Karen Wheeler takes a box of old toys/stuffed animals out to Nancy and she notices an old stuffed rabbit amongst the group. Karen then tells her “Oh its alright i you want to keep him” or something along those lines, i cant remember as of this second. I literally JUST watched this scene at least 10 mins ago so there goes to show how bad my memory is. Anyway nancy replies back with something like “no its alright he’ll be loved in a better home if i give him away” and it just seemed….out of nowhere? Like why would you put that dialogue in there for no reason. It just felt like stark contrast to everything else in the show–why like take a moment to talk about that ? maybe its bad writing, maybe its something bigger. Could it have something to do with the love triangle? With steve? She loves him (not in love tho) but can see he needs a better “home”? Her interests dont seem to line up with his–just look at the quote about having kids for example. He wants 6 of them while she doesnt seem to open to the idea. But these are just thoughts! I was wondering if anyone else had some ideas about these?
