Capsaicin cookie x male reader headcanons!

(Ngl this one is real self indulgent teehee)

To be honest, capsaicin cookie did not even realize liking other male cookies was, you know, possible?

He just never personally stopped to think about it too hard, so he just assumed all cookies HAD to like the opposite gender

(Wait till he finds out there's more than two of those, oh boy)

One of the first signs he may like you is just how quickly you two became friends, and just how he seems to gravitate towards you any chance he gets

However, when you became friends, he approached you without even entertaining the possibility of liking you

Since in his mind that's just not something that happens

Capsaicin cookie is also pretty oblivious

Not only to others but to himself as well

So he does not even realize just how close he is to you at all, both physically and emotionally

Like if you're hanging out with him he hugs you a lot, if you're watching a movie you cuddle, he's called you in the middle of the night more than once just to talk

If you compliment or reassure him in any way he gets flustered, but not really embarassed

yeah, basically everyone knows he likes you except for... well him

There is a very real chance that even you know about it

Then one day, it just sorta clicks

It wasn't anything special, just another day, you two were hangin' out, having some hotdogs in a park at night

Capsaicin cookie just stares at you. And thinks about you

That goes on for about a minute

(Cue sexuality realization speedrun)

In this moment his face is just completely red, eyes wide, mouth slightly agape, basically "holy fuck" written across his forehead

If you make eye contact with him during this he'd die on the spot 😰

After that, the night was pretty awkward

capsaicin cookie couldn't quite look at you for a while, he was also unusually quiet

And then after that he'd start being SOMEHOW even more obvious, just in a completely different way

In public he's a massive showoff, basically doing anything in his power to impress you

But i feel like in private he'd be pretty shy actually

He wouldn't be any less touchy, mind you, he'd just be a lot more embarassed about it

All of this is to say, bro is trying really hard to get you to like him back, because it doesn't matter how many hints you throw his way, his self-confidence in dating in general is pretty low

Couple that with the fact that he had no experience with male cookies whatsoever and his anxiety is increased tenfold

When you do eventually confess to him, he would probably cry honestly

Tears of joy, mind you

This whole *thing* was an emotional rollercoaster for him man

And he's just over the moon that you somehow like him back

Please remember to comfort him because he definitely is going to need it!

Expect him to pester you for

Izutsumi truly is the best cat girl of any anime. She is given depth and character and allowed to be her own person. Being a cat girl is originally a source of grief and hatred because of all that she had to go through because of it. She displays lots of cat-like behaviors and has an independent personality and although the other members of the party may sometimes clash with her, I love that this chapter highlighted that her way of doing things is valid as well. I also love that she is very picky with food, but instead of chastising her for it, Senshi goes out of his way to figure out ways to prepare food that Izutsumi would like to eat

Not to mention. Aroace queen. The succubi had to take the form of her mother and a panther because she is not romantically or sexually interested in anyone.

One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.

And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.

Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.

(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

I wish the thieves had SOME kind of reaction to the Satanael awakening. Kinda wish we at least had RYUJI react to it….

I think its sooooo compelling to have Ryuji be the only person to witness BOTH awakenings; to see how much Akira and his will has grown since they first met. There was a raw, burning fury in Akiras core that recoiled at the injustice before him, and when given the tools to punish said injustice, eagerly accepted it with a wild, almost manic kind of intensity. I think it would be difficult for the others to truly grasp just how scary that was; that for a short moment, Ryuji couldnt pinpoint the cause of that rage, and the target of it. Akiras mellowed out alot since then, but its always in the back of Ryujis head; theres a side of their leader literally none of the thieves have or will ever see, and he doesnt really know how hes supposed to feel about that.

And now the airs charged in the same way he felt back in Kamoshidas palace; right as Akiras eyes widened at seeing him slammed against the wall. The blazing, untamed ferocity in his eyes from back then is replaced with a cool, calm, steely conviction. He knows his purpose; understands completely what his will screamed at him to understand back when it first started. This is the Akira the team knows, and its definitely the one Ryuji is used to now, but its insane to see the shift; insane to see the kind of power that simmered in Akiras core, literally too big and too overwhelming for past Akira to grapple with and set free.

Satanael comes down, and theres a moment, through all the excited screaming and hollering, where Ryuji can see it look right at him, and Ryuji is taken back to the floor of Kamoshidas Palace; not to the fear he felt when Arsene came forth incinerating everything, but immediately after, when Akira comes to with wide eyes and an outstretched hand- that bizarre feeling of safety, of knowing that this kid would have his back, and that hed never have to worry about where his place would be (its right beside him, obviously.)

the new ride kamens character is jo, and he's... blood stark and night rogue? he's got the blood stark visor and color, but he's got bat wings which is definitely night rogue, not what i would've expected, i would've thought we'd get evol and kr rogue first as separate characters, but hey, dan kuroto and blood stark are some of my top faves of all time villains, so i'm not complaining

heck YES look at this steam-powered and yet somehow cyberpunky batman. he's awesome! 🦇 and honestly given that the popular guess for him was Night Rogue, I think it's pretty funny that he ended up being (mostly) the other Faust guy (I admit I usually associate him with the Evol form and...kind of forgot about Blood Stalk a little bit. :')

augh I am so BEHIND on drawing the Wisdom Thinks guys, hold on let me fix this

also I really hope they get way into the nitty-gritty of them running the lounge. nothing is funnier to me than Dramatic Action Superheroes having to take time out of their day to balance their business ledger and figure out the employee rotation for the week and stress about scheduling their upcoming food safety inspection. it's great.
