Is Auradon coexisting with the rest of the countries or has almost all countries united and became the United States of Auradon or do they all just not exist?

The United Stated has to be canon in the Descendants universe because Princess and the Frog takes place in New Orleans.

France has to be canon because Beauty and the Beast takes place there.

And then there’s fictional countries like Corona from Tangled where in that universe, I believe it was Italy that was mentioned explicitly in the series so that means Italy also has to exist in the Descendants universe

okay this might be kind of a niche problem but is anyone else having issues with apple music? i was listening to bang the doldrums (sorry) earlier and “this city says” wasn’t audible. it’s happening with other songs too where some elements are missing, usually the backing vocal tracks (in “you’re crashing” i couldn’t hear the echoes of “the jury doesn’t”) but some instruments are gone too :(

Someone explain to me why you would go after bad people with your family with you. Especially if you're off.

Law and Order: SVU had Olivia confronting gang members while with her kid in the new promos. She gets run over/shot and then knifed. All while her kid watches. What the fuck?

Why just why? That is so stupid of her.

Are real life cops and feds that stupid? I know they are stupid about things but with family being near? Are people in RL really that stupid? Maybe she had him go for help and the scream is him coming back to her laying there but it certainly didn't seem like it. Plus, it was late at night in New York...

if she had him stay (which is good on her part) while she went to the gang is so stupid. Especially since she seemed off duty (like I didn't think NYOD could carry off duty. Maybe I'm wrong but I never see my cops carry when they are off duty. Then again they could be and it's just concealed carry permits.) But still stupid of her to do so while her kid, whose underage and can't really do anything except run, which he hopefully did, was with her.

When I was young my dad offhandedly told me he thought people treated fish with so much casual cruelty because fish can’t scream.

As an adult I think he may have been joking. He payed no especial attention to any indignities fish suffered in our household but I could never forget. I saw fish in a different light after that.

Fish kept in tiny bowls, breathing their own poisons, dying by inches. Fish kept in cold tanks, casually disposed of. Fish touted as being short lived when they could outlive the better loved family dog if only they could breathe. Fish casually won and discarded in cheap plastic bags, thrown away a week later.

How they would scream, if they could.
