Okay, so I’ve seen a couple of posts about Bradley calling Maverick “Dad” or not and I just wanted to throw my own two cents in — as someone who lost their own biological parent at about the same age (2-5). 

Yes. He would absolutely call Maverick “Dad”. But he would never do it in front of Maverick, if that makes sense? And he’d probably never do it in front of his Mom, or Ice or any one of the flyboys. 

But in conversation with his friends, his teachers, in casual interaction with the public and on documents? Yes, 100%. 

In his own mental dialogue? Yes. 

But, I think he would stick to Mav with the people who knew Goose and the man himself, for their benefit and not his own. 

Goose isn’t a person to Bradley as an adult, Goose is someone else’s memory. His father that he tries to emulate from Polaroids and bedtime stories, but Goose isn’t his Dad. His Dad is Maverick. But he loves Maverick enough to refer to him as Mav where the man can hear him.

- gender? Who she? Jack is an immortal depressed bitch, that’s all you need to know (aka, he’s mostly he/they but really he/any, is this me projecting? Just a little bit)

- they have a green and a red eye, but when switching bodies the one with the medallion keeps the green eye while the clone gets two red, Idk I just like this detail

- have joked about his age, but doesn’t usually

- lowkey can be really sweet, just turns chaotic really fast

- has a soft spot for younger staff and scp, because brother side kicks in, but knows not to let it get in the way of work (mostly)

-my Jack was born in the late 1880’s btw

- has stormed target once on Black Friday with Clef, don’t ask

- has and will drag others into online memes and trends (specifically TikTok because he is that little shit)

Sakura cutting her hair wasn't just some "big sacrifice for strength".

honestly? i’m not super mad about the live action httyd announcement. if dean deblois and john powell are on board then i’ve got some hope for it. like i know everyone loves to shit on the live action disney movies but cinderella and batb were actually really good. so here’s hoping dreamworks/universal does some good with this. if they want to give me more dragons who am i to be mad at it?

The Barbie movie reminded me about how when I was little my parents were upset that I kept making my Barbie dolls kiss, so they bought me a Ken doll. The next day they found me having a funeral for poor Ken in the garden, he had died of tuberculosis. All the Barbies were in attendance and I buried him under our rose bush. The Barbies were too poor to afford a headstone (it was 1875) so I didn’t mark where the grave was and I never could find him again. He’s probably still there.
