Five was a grumpy brat, his first reaction upon seeing you was disbelief.

- What's with all that black clothing? Are you in mourning? - he starts to question you as he circles around you, watching like an old eagle - this is children's teeth hanging around your neck? - he says in shock.

-We're literally at a funeral, Five - you snap back grumpily - and this is my new style, accept it as soon as possible you annoying brat.

-What's up with that rude attitude, you punk? - Five snaps back irritably as he gets closer to you - Sorry, Grandpa, we're already in the future - you smile, ruffling his hair and running to take refuge behind Diego.

...

Still reluctant, Five tried to get used to his new lifestyle. Always ready with a joke or a witty comment about something, until the day he snuck into the house looking for you - "I'm just bored and you're this different from everything else" - finding you entertained with headphones as you danced absentmindedly around the room, immersed in a little world all your own.

-Are you struggling in pain or something? - Five enters the room after watching you dance for longer than he would admit - Do you need a doctor? - He sprawls on your bed, looking too comfortable in your space.

-get out of here, grandpa - You take off your headphones and stare at Five - Weren't you stopping the apocalypse or something dramatic like that? - You kick his legs off your bed and sit next to him - Unfortunately, I'm on an unwanted day off, much to your joy, what are you doing? - he asks with a disdainful air as he snatches the headphones from your hand and puts them on.

-nothing you like, little psychopath - you laugh, watching Five listen intently to the music, it was a random song by BVB, his grimace slowly turned into contemplation, and you could have sworn you saw the shadow of a smile before he jumped into space with your headphones - hey you bastard - you screamed when you realized the theft.

Five season 3

You couldn't tell at what point exactly the old-fashioned, talkative Five became your music companion, he still made faces at your clothing choices and hairstyles, and made comments about your "rebellious age". But you could easily notice his occasional appearance whenever you listened to music, always criticizing you when you skipped his favorites, claiming they were the least bad ones, he was a terrible liar. He also accompanied you to a concert - "I'm just making sure you don't get mixed up with other punks and disappear"

-wasn't the apocalypse supposed to happen in three days? You should be trying to stop it, but here you are - you grumble at him - but here you are like a punk.

-I'm not here for this nonsense - Five stops talking as soon as he sees the band enter, his attention now focused on the band with an idiotic smile. - Nonsense, you're more excited than me, you fangirl.

FIve just lets out a guilty laugh and shrugs, no sarcastic responses, just accepting the fact that maybe, just a little bit of him enjoyed all of this.

Five season 4

- Im hooome, you won't believe it, I got two tickets to...- Five stops in the middle of the living room,frozen with an envelope in his hand.- What is this? What happened to your clothes? - he asks terrified. looking for any trace of black clothes, worn-out Converse, ripped jeans, even the damn slicked-back hairstyle you chose to wear sometimes.

It had been a few weeks since Five had left on a mission for the CIA, which means you hadn't had any contact with him during that time. You had a bit of a change. Maybe a bit radical. You can just smile and take a little walk, showing off your pink cowboy outfit with sparkles and sequins.

-now I'm a fan of Chappel Roan.

Something I was thinking of bringing into Chapter 2 is showing how there's always gloomy rain when Ciocana is around, which you get to experience depending on your choice—one of their more unfortunate traits they inherit from their parents! 😭💕

(Mild spoilers!) Their character arc, I feel, will be about weathering through the storm and learning to look towards the dark, receding horizon with the hope that the rain will eventually pass! Hopefully that isn't too spoilery to mention. <3

original request - 2 or 3 minutes LOL (they didn't know what the demo length was gonna be). So he writes a 3 minute track that has smushiness at the start and back so that nothing is missing (yeah the melody is Slow like that)

Showcase ended up being 3 minutes, good. The structure might not have been that [vague] / smushy if he worked more directly with the demo's sequencing and length.

epic stuff had to be more upbeat - the higher pace one was lowkey irish jig themed

Panelist / Audience vibe that we received from Halo theme: kind of Lonely? Solitude / "ozymandias" style.

before focusing on Future Soldier - the alien planet that he was being chased in and getting into the Warthog, turned out that way

he personally conducted the chanting - gregorian chanting is monks in cathedral w/ reverb so no strict meter or tempo for what happens. bravado (vince) - give and take

- choice reasoning: "I thought they would be cool"

- basically taking his piano playing style to cello / strings players and forcing motion, making them sweat

- diminution of original theme - it's two bars per thing but then it removes the second sustained bar (more energetic)

OKAY so back when i was thinking a lot about tuc (and also listening to my pete playlist on the way to therapy bc it was the perfect length of time to get through from my home to the office) i somehow came up with the idea of like, what if pete did side with robert moses because, like. idk i think the idea of a vox phantasma gone bad is really interesting to me, and also like, if i was in pete's shoes imo siding with robert moses — particularly after he's played that recording of kingston — isn't an unreasonable choice to make. i was also listening to the descent by bastille on loop (which ALSO has the bit from the bastille pete/rowan song in it) when i wrote this. which is not relevant but is fun trivia.

anyway this is all i ever wrote of it mostly bc i then forgot about it and now i do not remember the intricacies of the plot of tuc i so i probably won't finish it until i get around to rewatching tuc

robert is obviously evil. obviously he is, okay? pete knows perfectly well that he looks like the villian in a cartoon movie who wants to put down the puppy protagonists for, like, wanting to start a dog hotel or whatever the shit protagonists in children's movies are doing these days. pete has enough common sense to know that, okay?

it's just that... sometimes common sense and the need to survive don't intersect. 

“what do you want from me, robert?”

“from you?” robert leans back, manspreading, taking a cigar and a lighter from an inside pocket of his jacket and lighting it, taking a long drag. “want one?” he asks, when he notices pete eyeing it, and hands one over and lights it after pete nods. “kid, i just want you to know you got a shit deal. you didn't ask to be a vox. it's not like you're being paid for this, you know?”

“i'm not?” well, shit. pete had hoped that this would at least come with a paycheck. he is technically homeless, after all, which is something pete has been avoiding thinking about because he doesn't like thinking about things that stress him out, and the fact that he's almost certainly homeless stresses him out more than almost anything at this moment, including the fucking unsleeping city or whatever the fuck it's called. 

robert takes another long drag of his cigar. “i told you, kid, it's all bullshit. but, look, i can help you.” he pauses, looks directly at pete. “i don't know what your so called friends have been telling you about me, but i am a businessman, okay? and you are too. and we've got to look out for each other.” pete wouldn't exactly describe himself as a businessman, but he's not about to argue. if robert moses wants to call him a businessman instead of a drug dealer, he's not going to argue with it.

redditors discussing kcon wayv setlist. hnngnn these are my thoughts

i’m not sure how long their set is but i’m assuming around 5 songs

i think that they won’t do subunit songs because honestly the only one that could be performed is low low which would go hard but i don’t think they should do it unless they make an ot5 verison which i doubt they will

people are hoping for a ballad/slower song which ofc would be great but honestly i don’t think now is the time. kcon is a great way to get fans and they have a short time span to make a strong impression so i think they need to pull out the intense choreos, catchy choruses and i need xiaojun to put those vocal chords to work people are craving real vocalists in kpop/kpop adjacent music and vocal king xdj will always deliver.

as for individual songs

i think we all know love talk english version is making it. lol

i think action figure and nectar would be great choices, and i’m almost confident that they’ll be performed which is excellent because they’re catchy and fun and have amazing choreo.

some people say bad alive english version which AJDHSHSGGS i wish bro i wish. i think that would be amazing but for some reason they love to act like that song disappeared into thin air so i don’t think so 😭

Late nights dealing with Eren were typical, but late nights dealing and caring for a stoned Eren where he was all giggles and jokes were rare, so when this happened, all you could do was laugh at his slow moving body and lame jokes.

But now Eren made it clearly known to you about how hungry he was, so hungry he would die, that was his words not yours. So, gathering your things and practically dragging Eren out, you both made it outside of your shared apartment. Stepping into the cold weather, walking down the snowy sidewalk and quickly walking to the corner market.

The small bell attached to the clear door announces both of your arrival, a bored "welcome" was received from the cashier who was slumped back on their chair, Eren's warm hand gripped yours trailing you down specifically to the sweet's aisle. 

The sudden sound of the opening trumpet to the song that you and Eren were familiar with and usually blasted in his car filled the quiet aisles of the convenient store. Eren's head quickly glanced back at yours, his face plastered with a huge smile complimenting his red hazy eyes, you smile back at his cute face.

'You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you'

Eren quickly walks away from you, he dramatically turns back looking at you, holding a single hand out while singing the lyrics. Laughing at him softy, you take his hand, standing in the small aisle Eren softy begins swaying with you.

'You'd be like heaven to touch, I wanna hold you so much'

The store was filled only with the quiet song and Eren's deep voice, you try to tell him stop slightly embarrassed from his sudden antics, but his deep slightly slurred voice consumes yours. One hand still holding yours up and the other resting gently on your waist, he guides you to sway with him to the songs beat. Your own hand resting on his left shoulder slightly squeezing the tough muscle beneath his gray hoodie as a sign of affection.

'At long last the love has arrived, and I thank god I'm alive, You're just too good to be true'

His red drooped eyes looked right into your own as he sung, as if he was trying to let you know that this song was about 'you'. The cashier watching the two of you sent a slight glare your way, probably annoyed by Eren's sudden loud singing, but not paying them any attention you just focus on the man singing his heart out to you instead.

His heavy eyes were finally closed and head slightly was swaying, you could tell how much he was concentrating on singing to you and making sure he didn't step on your foot or crumple into your arms. You would never say it aloud, but his voice was beautiful. The deep resonant slowly seeping into your ears and dissolving sweetly when it finally reached. You could honestly listen to it all day. It wasn't often you'd catch Eren singing, sometimes catching him mumbling along to a random song, or when he was lowly singing in the shower. But right now, you could clearly hear him and so probably could the cashier, his angelic voice blocking out any silence. 

'But if you feel like I feel, Please let me know it's real, You're just too good to be true, Can't take my eyes off you'

Eren's eyes opened back up, his head stopped swaying and his red fuzzy eyes were now looking directly into your own, it was as if he made sure you were listening to his words. As the song continued he took his hand off your waist and took his other to your side to spin you into a small twirl, both pair's of feet shuffling along in the small cramped aisle as he turned you back around. You were now back to looking at each other, eye to eye, his voice slightly rising as he gave you a cheeky smile, making you throw your head back in laughter and looking back at him only to see an even wider smile spread across his pink cheeks.

'I love you baby, and if it's quite alright I need you, baby,

As the chorus continued Eren never missed a line as he kept you close to his warm chest. His hand that was resting on your hips was rubbing soft circles into your fuzzy sweats. Both of your movements were getting slower savoring each others touches, as the song began to get to the last verses you and him both stare into each other's eyes.

The two of you were still in each others arms, hearing each ones still heart beats, looking up into his eyes finding them filled with nothing but affection and love. His large warm hand raised up to cup your right cheek, pulling you slightly up placing his lips on yours for a long loving kiss. As he pulled away from you, his lips rested slightly against your ear tickling you slightly.

"My pretty baby",

his soft whisper into your ear along with his choice of words for you sent a shiver down your spine. You bring your own hand, raking into into his oak colored hair trailing your finger along his jaw and ending at his chin just to pull him into another small kiss.

"Are you two going to buy anything or-"

The cashiers voice broke the small moment you and him were happening, the sudden realization of dancing in a convenient store hit your sober mind, cheeks filling with warmth you give the worker a solid apology. Eren was still gently holding your hand as you racked the candy choices, his warm lips leaving kisses on your cheeks and the side of your head. He would mumble something about a certain food into your hair, making you giggle at his change of character. 

Gathering the food items and paying for them, finally leaving back into the cold now snowing weather. Eren grabbed the bag of treats from your hand, turning to him to only see his face etched with a smile. Snowflakes falling onto each others heads and eyelashes, you stick your tongue out into the freezing air, catching a single snowflake feeling it melt quickly away in your mouth. Eren's less red eyes were watching you, his smile seemed never ending when it came to you, reaching over to your gloved hand he grasped it into his own. Never wanting to let it go. 

"Ya know I can't ever take my eyes off of you?", he spoke to you loving the way your cheeks flushed and eyebrows raised. You sweetly smile back at him, loving the moment you shared, and most importantly loving him. You both couldn't take your eyes off each other the entire way back home.
