Them as fathers

Characters: Kenma, Noya, Tsukki Gender neutral reader, it is not mentioned whether the children are adopted or biological, Kenma’s is longer than the others because i had way too many ideas for him

Kenma Kozume

First things first: I don’t think Kenma would have more than one kid, if you really wanted to have more he would relent but he is perfectly happy with just one, he thinks 3 people is the perfect number for your little family.

You may think he wouldn’t be that involved in his kids life, but that is a big misconception,

No matter how much work he has to do he makes sure to spend time with you and your kid.

Kenma would never show his child on the internet in any way, he wants to keep his private life private and keep his child safe, he knows how cruel the internet can be, no way in hell will he put his young child into that kind of situation.

Once your child learned to crawl he brought the three starters of Pokémon black and white (gen 5 best games I don’t take criticism) to see which one your child would choose.

Based on what they chose he will be sulky or proud. (I nearly made this into Oshawott propaganda but I didn’t you’re welcome). But at the end of the day he knows that they just choose one based on colours and shapes, he would teach them once they are older how to perfectly choose a starter.

Best believe that as soon as your kid is old enough to understand things he will show them all kinds of (age appropriate) video games.

You enter his gaming room with some snacks for him and you can just see him play Slime Rancher as your kid sits in his lap, eyes glued to what their father is doing.

He already has started a Stardew Valley coop farm for you three to play together one day, he is just waiting for the day your child is old enough.

Now enough video game talk, (though I have so many more ideas about this lol) your child loves it when Kenma reads to them before they sleep, his voice is very soothing to them.

Once they are asleep Kenma stays at their side a bit longer, watching them sleep a serene smile on his face.

Kenma can’t say no to your kid, he will buy them anything they want. You sometimes wonder how he can be so responsible with his money in any other situation, but your child just needs to point at something and he will buy it for them unless you intervene.

Lastly, be prepared for Kenma and your kid to team up against you. Board games? Yeah they are a team even if the game isn’t a game for teaming up. (Monopoly is a nightmare with them, Oh you need a red? Too bad your kid and Kenma are trading it between one another instead of giving it to you) But you can’t really seem to mind when you see the way Kenma and your kid smile. (Unless you are like me and are fiercely competitive in games then you may want to strike Kenma down)

Yu Nishinoya

Noya would take longer to have children with you, at least until he is done travelling, he does want kids but is aware that travelling the world with them wouldn’t be ideal, he wants them to have a stable home.

Once you two do have kids, he wants at least 2 or 3. Noya wants a big family.

I feel like he is the type of Dad that throws his kids in the air and then catches them (he won’t do it high) and it always gives you a heart attack.

Instead of reading them good night stories he always tells them (embellished) stories from when he travelled the world, for example he once exclaimed to one of your kids how a mermaid vied for your attention but he fought them heroically off.

This does bite him in the ass years down the line once your kids are teens, they will bring these stories up whenever they can to tease him.

Asahi is basically an uncle to your kids, he often visits you and brings the kids many gifts. He loves to spoil them.

And yes Asahi designs the clothes for your kids as well, it often leads to many people asking you and Noya where you got the clothes for them from since they are such a high quality.

Yes, he will teach your kids “Rolling thunder”. No you can’t stop him. Even if your kids don’t play Volleyball they will still know the move.

This leads to your kids looking for his old jersey’s from highschool, putting them on and pretending to  be their dad. No he is not crying, he just got dust in his eye.

Vacations and holidays are important to Noya, while he can’t travel the world with your kids, he will take them on memorable vacations across the country when they are old enough to remember them.

He wants them to have a happy and fulfilled childhood with as many experiences as they can have.

Kei Tsukishima

When you first brought up having children with him he asked “Are you sure you can take care of a child? Don’t you wanna practise with a pet rock first?” You lightly punched him in the chest for that and he had his signature smirk on his face.

He is honestly neutral on the aspect of having kids, he is not against it but also it was never his dream of having them, so he is fine with whatever you want.

Just like Kenma he would probably only have one kid, with his Job as a Volleyballplayer and everything he isn’t home that often, so if you had more than one kid he would feel guilty leaving you home alone with them.

Tsukki is probably the first one from Karasuno to have a kid, so he is smug about the fact that he is ‘better’ than the others in that regard.

The first team reunion after you two had your child will have him holding his child proudly, while he tells all the others how slow they are for not having kids yet, which has everyone rolling their eyes. He is very proud of his kid so that he will hold it up Lion King style so everyone can admire it.

Unluckily though he miscalculated the height of the ceiling and bonked your kids head on it, which left everyone in the room in a stunned silence (True story from my infant days, my dad did this exact thing with me)

You had made him change every diaper for 2 weeks for the heart attack he gave you with that, even if your kid was fine and wasn’t hurt.

Tsukki and you switch every night who is going to read your kid, while you pick different topics every time, he only ever chooses dinosaur stories to read to your kid.

Speaking of dinosaurs, Tsukki once claimed he had to educate your kid on certain things while you went out grocery shopping, when you came back you saw that the thing he was educating your child on was “The land before time” which made you smile.

Now no matter if the child is biologically yours or adopted, it somehow interhits his sass, which means you will be surrounded by two sassy little pieces of shit (affectionate).

Though you get both of them to calm down their sass by offering them some strawberry cake if they stop, it surprisingly works better on Tsukki then on your kid, who would have thought?

Ok here’s my two cents that no one asked for on the current (sort of?) debate going on in the Creepypasta fandom on here rn.

For starters, I grew up with Creepypasta. I also grew up mentally ill. I am also autistic. So I know my way around good and bad mental health rep at this point. And to be honest? A lot of the original stories DID suck balls at representation or just horror writing in general.

However, nowadays I see other people on here, often mentally ill or any other social outcast, taking these characters and reshaping them as their own to fit their own feelings and experiences, and I don’t think anyone has the authority to criticize things like that. Cringe culture is supposed to be dead anyways, nevermind the fact it’s inherently ableist at its core.

We also need to take into account kids still exist in the fandom. Pre teens who got tired of shit like scooby doo and wanted something more “mature” or “edgy” to get into without fully going off the deep end into full blown horror movies. At least that’s how it was for me. Not everyone, especially someone who’s younger, is gonna be comfortable with the grit and gore a lot of Creepypasta “purists” are pushing for these days, and that’s okay! When a fandom gets popular it’s always inevitable and unavoidable to have the popular characters get two dimensionalized.

There’s also the whole mascot horror thing that I don’t wanna get into, but I’m 90% sure that also plays a part in the old favorites like Jeff and slenderman being brought up again. They were and still are recognizable characters. Recognizable characters aren’t a bad thing. Making horror more approachable for younger audiences isn’t a bad thing. People having their own interpretations based out of their own experiences isn’t a bad thing.

Some of us grew up and wanted the more edgy and reality based content, and that’s also not a bad thing! But neither side should be dictating or policing how the other enjoys content in this fandom. If you personally don’t like the way something is written, characterized, depicted, or drawn, no one’s forcing you to look at it. No one’s claiming it as canon. No one’s asking for you to accept it as the end all be all.

At the end of the day this fandom was built on OCs and personal depictions of stuff. I can’t name a single character or story in this community that was created by some outside party like a movie or TV studio FIRST (because I know some got so popular they breached the fandom and got their own shows/movies/comics/etc). Everything here was created by someone who wanted an outlet for their creativity, or their pain, or their coping, or whatever else.

Realism and dark headcanons aren’t bad, and neither are any of the headcanons out there who just wanna make a goofy found family of social rejects as a form of escapism.

A 13 year old drawing a fictional layout of a fictional mansion where these fictional characters live isn’t going to suddenly invalidate the horror, I promise, it’s not that deep and it never was.

A 22 year old making a dark comic on the realistic origins of Jeff who is a fictional character in a fictional world isn’t going to suddenly invalidate the more softhearted side of the fandom.

Sure, there can still be a split if people are so adamant about that, but as someone who personally enjoys both the brutal horror side and the “haha Jeff is 15 and gay” sides equally, y’all need to at least learn to be civil to anyone who has a different headcanon than you. And if that seems like too much still, the block button exists for a reason.

TL:DR this fandom is based entirely off OCs and headcanons and people can do whatever the fuck they want because none of it is real and horror comes in many shapes and sizes and intensities and no one should be bashing anyone on their headcanons or views or rewrites or whatever else.

Actually wait I think I have more to say-

Horror, like any genre, has NO AGE LIMIT. And by that I mean, if someone younger wants to delve into scary stuff, they should be allowed to do so without criticism. I personally grew up on “child friendly” horror media like Scooby-Doo, and the older I got the more horror I wanted to experience.

There’s no right or wrong way to “understand” horror, and I frankly think it’s ignorant and stupid to say if you don’t fully “understand” something, then you shouldn’t be involved in it at all. Horror isn’t always about gore and unspeakable violence and the eldritch entity that wants everyone’s skin inside out. That’s why horror has sub genres for fucks sake. Gut wrenching brutality against innocent people isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay!

However, bashing anyone’s tamer headcanons, or calling anything anyone interprets differently than you “stupid”, that’s not okay. God, I feel like an exhausted parent giving this lecture to fellow adults, but this really needs to be said and stressed.

I am an adult. I like when stuff in the fandom takes a dark turn. But for nostalgia’s sake, I also love the fanon so much, because that’s what I was exposed to.

And for fucks sake if it comes down to picking sides, I would rather stick with the part of this fandom that gives zero shits how you see a character as long as you’re having fun.

You can have your serial killer 30 year old Jeff and your canon-accurate-to-that-one-image eyeless Jack, but don’t shit on other people if they don’t want the same thing. Your interpretation isn’t canon, and neither is anyone else’s for that matter.

Realistic, dark, gritty Creepypasta isn’t a new concept, and neither is “adult” Creepypasta. And by the way, Creepypasta was never stated to be for adults. That’s like saying kids and only kids can eat trix cereal. It sounds that stupid on paper.

Let people interpret things the way they wanna interpret. No one is infringing on YOUR character ideas. Creepypasta has no age limit, nor a set way the horror has to be presented. Those who do continue to claim that just sound like pretentious assholes.

Very small side note, I personally think it’s inappropriate and rude to keep using Toby as a “bad example” of mental health rep when the creator has stated multiple times the character is old, not researched, and not even in the fandom anymore. Leave the poor guy alone.

Im learning japanese rn and one thing I've noticed is that my voice when I speak japanese is A LOT quieter than when Im speaking English because if i speak loud I notice the words dont sound as clear- This language is forcing me to be quitter- which is honestly a good thing I talk way to loud😭

For me, learning how to pronounce certain words was pretty big, and the best way I did that was plenty of research combined with just casually listening. Whispering is a start, but you might develop habits that aren't so correct (just noting down what I saw in myself - particularly in pronouncing my "r/l's").

For starters, I used Buusu to begin learning pronunciation (before it was put behind a paywall :⁠-⁠\), but there are plenty other things available!

One of the biggest ones is japanesepod101, as they have many YouTube videos going over basically everything you need to know:

Alongside videos like these, you can also develop good pronunciation habits just by listening to anime (although not always the best example sometimes) and music! That's how babies learn to speak anyway, just by listening and piecing things together (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Other examples include podcasts, radio, Japanese YouTube channels (many have subtitles!), advertisements with VPN, and more (๑ˊ͈ ꇴ ˋ͈)

I think it's very important to note that pronunciation is very important in Japanese. Depending on the word, you can change the whole meaning of something just by giving it the wrong pitch.

Example: In English, you can change the message of a sentence by stressing a word like so,

This isn't my cat.

Turns into:

This isn't my cat.

Insinuating that the cat isn't yours, but is someone else's.

Japanese is sort of like that. Words can change meaning based on where you put your high and low pitches, so that's why speaking clearly when practicing is best to start off with.

I was waiting to publish it after it was finished because then writer’s block won’t delay you guys reading it. I may post more chapters until the website is back up but I won’t promise it! All My Blossoms

Chapter 1

His chair jolted back with him immediately after the doors slammed open. Luigi quickly sorted himself out and noticed everyone's unimpressed glares at the guest. A grumbled apology made it past his awkward expression as he sat in a comically large chair.

“Now that His Majesty has arrived,” Mario coughed a 'finally' into his fist, Peach continued. “We may begin the negotiations of the treaty." Diplomatic yet kind as ever.

Thankfully, over the afternoon only one fight had to be stopped between Bowser and Mario and negotiations were added, removed or changed smoothly. Right at that moment, they had the jovial tone of sporting buddies rather than leaders with a feud. Then one last request was placed. The Koopa King expressed his concern of not having a partner’s help.

Kamek is good but the kids wear him out too much for saying he has to be an adviser too. He needs someone to look after his children while he attends royal affairs with the magikoopa or to go in his place so he can spend more time with them. This level of security and trust can only be given by a marriage. That way, they can’t harm his kingdom or kids and he can’t hurt them without breaking the treaty. Mixed reactions painted everyone’s faces with Peach considering but hesitant and Mario struggling to hold in his definitely not royal meeting appropriate response. The younger twin held his brother’s shoulder in reassurance.

“I’m not asking it to be you, Princess. Not unless you’re up for it. It only needs to be someone important to the kingdom to ensure no funny business from me.” Carefully, she ruled out who couldn’t go.

Her, for starters, unless there truly was no one else. Mario is with her and neither man would agree. Toadette had high-ish status. But was it enough to garante peace?

“I-I’ll do it?” All eyes snapped to the voice even as quiet as it was. Anyone may have mistaken him for his brother based on the crimson rapidly growing on Luigi’s face. Again, mixed reactions across the room. Similarly to the last shock, Peach was cautiously in thought while Mario went straight to talking them both out of it. All Bowser could do was stare at the plumber in confusion.

“There is no one else, is there Princess? I could see the cogs turning. I can’t let you go, you’ve got your own kingdom. That’s what this treaty is about. My status is important enough to make sure he doesn’t hurt me but removed enough it won’t hurt the kingdom.”

What? Mario is certain he’s never heard his brother talk that much in one go before. Even the king was sceptical, all he knew was the green one was terrified of everything. Especially him.

“You really don’t mind this, Weegi?”

Everything in his body screamed no but his head knows it's the only option. He nods and looks his brother in the eyes to agree. It's not that either of them think Luigi's at risk, more so that they know this isn't Bowser’s or Luigi's ideal future. How come he gets the love of his life when his fratellino is subjected to being a political pawn? Above all of this is Mario's trust in him. If Luigi sincerely says he's okay with this then Mario trusts him. He's okay with it too.

“How much political knowledge do you have, Greenie?"

Luigi answers honestly by claiming to only know a bit from joining these meetings. On the conditions that he has lessons from Kamek or himself, Bowser is the last to agree.

A month before the wedding Luigi has to move to the castle. Frankly it's more of a formality, time for the grooms to adjust to each other and for the staff and children to get used to their future king consort. Meeting the Koopalings (properly) was by far the worst part of this for the plumber. Anxieties clawed at him from every angle, the most concerning being ‘am I a dad now?’

"Alright, before we go in you need to breathe. I can hear you worrying, stop. What has you so worked up?" Straining in his chest proved the king correct about breathing, did he care or was he annoyed?

“They won't like me. I'm essentially their step-dad and Mario's brother, and human, and-"

"Woah, woah! Greenie, chill. True, it might take them time to come to terms with it. Hate you? Maybe. But any disrespect to you will break the treaty." He stopped for a minute. "Step-dad? This is a political marriage. You're more a glorified babysitter. Don't sweat it.” The words barely registered with the anxious man as the large common room doors opened. Several big sofas messily decorated the floor (which was not how it looked when Bowser left it) along with many random objects. Drawings were piled up in various spots, a few small machines (or robots?) moved around with different levels of competence and so much more. Nine Koopas occupied the room, one of whom could not look more tired.

"Sire! You're back! And you, the monsters are your problem now." A staff was swiftly pointed in Luigi's face.

"Sì?”

Suddenly one of the 'monsters' announces to his siblings that their dad is home and races to hug his father as everyone else brings their attention to the new comer. Question after question abuses the ears of the three adults.

"Shut it, twerps! We're gonna sit an’ talk about it. Out the door way, now!

Once comfortably spread amongst the couches, or in Lemmy's case the floor, Bowser opens the conversations to anyone willing not to interrupt each other. Wendy quickly goes first.

“Why are you here?” Simple question, Luigi answers as such.

“Why you,” Junior cuts in, “why not mama?”

Bowser takes that one, much to Luigi’s relief. Each koopaling asks different things, Ludwig sticking to political side of things. Iggy had to be steered back to the original topic after finding out that Luigi dabbles in engineering, both of them excited to share their interests. Ever annoyed at the lack of a feminine presence Wendy through jabs at him, only for him to shyly admit that he enjoys make up and dresses. Junior doesn’t speak after his first enquiry.

Just as their dad went to call it a night, Ludwig asked his only personal question.

“I get it’s a political marriage but doesn’t that mean you’re our father too now?” Annoyance and anger pointedly obvious in the teen’s tone.

Everything in him tenses at the realisation that the worst has happened; he’s now a dad and the kids hate him. One of Bowser’s hands squeezed his while he reassured his son that Luigi is only their parent if they want him to be. For now he’s just a helping hand. Kamek dismissed the children and led them out the door.

On Junior’s way out he whispered to the elder koopa resulting in the boy running over to the fiancés. The young koopa looked up at his father and asked if he no longer has a ‘mama’ that would play with him or praise his art. Luigi’s heart broke alongside the boy’s voice, answering before Bowser could.

“Junior, I promise I will play with you and look at your drawings. Instead of a ‘mama’ you are welcome to see me as a ‘papa’ if you want.” Both koopas stared at him, one with excitement and the other with something. Confusion? Shock? Fondness? All three seemed to shine in Bowser’s eyes.

“Really?! But you said you’re not our dad?”

“Only because I know this is a big change. If you don’t want me too be, then I won’t be. If you do, then I will.”

No one had expected him to say it, especially this quickly or willingly. However he found he was just as sure about this as he was about the deal with Bowser.

“Promise?”

“Promise.”

Kamek approached him the day after to give him a tour and explain some of his new duties. It thoroughly surprised the magikoopa when Luigi took everything in and seemed serious about helping Bowser rule. Hesitancy about the plan still flowed through him, specifically because of it being Luigi. His son deserved to marry for love, not marry the brother of Mario. Peach would have been more ideal, at least one of them had feelings. But, the way Luigi was with the koopalings and new responsibilities put him a little more at ease. The old koopa even noticed that he treated the staff well despite the comments they jeered at him. He also noted that he would pretend to not hear, only to (albeit subtlety) deflate once it was just the two of them again.

“Finally, we have arrived at the private garden. Only the royal family may enter here, myself included. As king consort this extends to you now, sire.”

Monotone words barely made it past Luigi’s ears. Calmly flowing water fell from a central fountain, grand in its design yet modest in size, pallets of flowers painted along the pebble path. On the opposite end to the opening sat a bench clearly made for the king. Awe froze him, letting him bask in the slice of Heaven.

The magikoopa chuckled beside him, “beautiful isn’t it, sire?”

“Favoloso. Sì, very. There’s nothing like this at my cottage.”

“Junior told me about last night-“

“Ah, scusi! I didn’t mean to overstep, he was upset so I tried to cheer him up.” Kamek’s stoic look easily slipped into a smirk.

“I was only going to thank you, sire. Lord Junior has had a complex relationship with parental figures. He never should have been lied to about his mother being Princess Toadstool, it makes him feel unwanted. You made him feel wanted again, and his papa will be less distracted from now on. For that, I thank you.”

No words in either language came to the Italian. The sudden emotional turn froze him all over again. Out of seven siblings, a father, a grandfather and a castle full of staff Junior felt unwanted until he of all people showed up. All he’d done was agree to look at paintings, how could the bar of a prince be so low in what was an obviously loving family? Then again, eight children and a kingdom means time is just as important as love. It dawned on him that he hadn’t only agreed to look at paintings. All he’d done was agree to give the family time for showing love that they held for each other. Junior may have asked him to be his ‘papa’ but that didn’t make him one, he didn’t feel like one, he was just there so his actual father could be with him.

Goodbyes between the advisers were said on autopilot. Registering that he was alone and moving towards the bench was just as mindless. Nothing but the knowledge of what he’d done filled his thoughts. It is important to understand that he didn’t regret the agreement, but that this was his first real opportunity to truly process it. Not only had he signed up to be an adviser but also a king, a husband and a dad. He signed to be a symbol of peace, as an insurance policy. Dread and shock forced themselves together in his head, a jagged mesh blocking out anything else. But there was no regret. For all the consequences (good or bad), he’d do it again every time if it meant stability within both kingdoms. If it could provide stability within a family.

A weight that wasn’t his own pushed on the wooden seat, it’s subtle creak snapping him from the thoughts. Aches coursed through his hands from gripping tangled hair and his eyes stung similarly to his scalp. From beside him, his ragged breaths were eased into a normal rhythm by a patient voice. Luigi was no stranger to having panic attacks but having others help makes escaping them easier. He thanks Bowser, not needing to look up to know who was there, receiving a gruff ‘welcome’ in return.

“Wanna talk about it, usually helps the kids after these.” The green clad man gestures awkwardly between them. “Hey! Imma catch, who wouldn’t wanna marry me? And don’t say Peach!” Luigi chuckled.

“No, no. It’s a, big, adjustment is all. You get a break and peace, I get a job, a husband and bambini.”

“I get a husband too, ya know? See, both getting screwed over.”

“Still not even.” He bumped his shoulder against Bowser’s bicep. Comfortable silence blanketed them for minutes and minutes, neither willing to break it. Half an hour passed before the king was called to his duties and Luigi was left alone in the garden.

Theory for Noes atrocity in Dialgas eyes, I'm assuming it's specifically time based because I can't see Dialgas caring too much about anything else and while showing up early probably ticked him off a bit I'm thinking for the actual crime it might be related to that betrayal from humans

My thinking is Noe in an absolute fury after making sure Meau was somewhere safe just grabbed the leader of the village/ring leader of what happened and is like "You want to see what you could've had?!" and proceeds to drag them through into the future (assuming Noe can time jump if not pft this falls apart regardless) and drops them at the feet of the ruined village overgrown by vines structures reduced to rubble as Noe glares down at them hatefully " Your lineage does not grow strong, your town is forgotten your people forgotten your existence GONE, the only creatures that will recall you are us and we will hold you in distain. Your betrayal has brought you nothing." cause oh you wanted to control Meau for yourself? To make yourself great? Did you think it would bring your civilisation further growth? You are incorrect you have doomed everything you loved to die here, the only thing that will see this place is the wind. And Noe just, leaves them there. So Dialga is furious over Noe very much violating rules of time in a fit of rage. (while loudly ignoring Ingo in Hisui)

For starters, Missingno. does make sure Meau has a place to rest before going back to the village, of which, we’ve actually already seen this village. It holds a lot of significance to both Meau and Noe due to what happened there and what it did for their relationship as a whole.

As for what Missingno. did when he arrived back at the village, he didn’t bother attempting to communicate with them. As Meau tried and failed to do so, he simply did what he thought was best and moved on. What he did there did not anger Dialga, nor was the atrocity that did anger Dialga.

Mind you, you’re correct in what happens to that village because of what they did to Meau. Their lineage does not grow strong, they do not prosper, and they are forgotten by all except Meau and Noe, who do not remember them fondly.

But there was not time shenanigans with the village, though I LOVED this lil theory!!! Very, very enjoyable X3

Creativity is a muscle, and recharging it is also important. So is investment! Listen. What I'm about to say is rather tongue-in-cheek, because I know all about ableism, anxiety, depression, etc.

But you can't just sit there and stare at a screen. One way or another. I was taught that 'only boring people are bored', which might be harsh for me to agree with 1:1, but it's a point.

There's no possible way you've published all the headcanons that you can. If you got nothing, you're forgetting something. Legit go look up the profession, hobbies, interests of your muse. Their country, their voice/accent. age group. Or, just anything. That's just surface level, as there's a whole world surrounding them as well. You can learn something new every day, just by observing. Take TV breaks, whether that's youtube, media, etc. Your RPing should take cues from real life without having to match up with it. (pokemon rpers, do you know the body language of your critters' base species? monsters, do you know how their bodies work? talk about that shit for example. Animal body language, or even a human nationality's body language is a good start for most people.)

Shit sucks? Do something about it. I'm not gonna fault the bored/depression posting at its core; but there's a lot of indirect handwringing about it. The community sucks, my brain sucks, etc. But you have to help start the solution. I'm a fan of productive posts, such as asking for reassurance when down, starter calls and opens, those're good. But don't be afraid to be productively critical; use "I" language instead of blaming or "you/we" if you have to. "I feel like my headcanon/meme posts are being ignored rn" sounds much more reasonable than "you guys suck at this" or "can we do this/that/etc.???" which a lot of psas can use. Try to be direct with your own wants, as those psas are simply the first step. You should probably still assume ignorance/apologetic/disability over things such as failure and malice, simply because of how we're wired.

Connect the dots. Lotta people don't know where to start, but you have to somewhere. tiny, "boring" opens don't have to stay that way after you answer them, and first impressions may be wrong, but they at least happen. Follow the animal rule; for every no that you have, give a yes. The more yes's and starting points, the better off you'll be. If you don't have any dots to connect, you probably need to do some reading. Bios, blog posts, just pick a person and start. You should know which muses yours would call like, an old-ass or something. Which they'd go to for a favor. Which they like. How they'd treat a stranger, etc. People do lore-correct when they diverge, but there's other paths to open. Find em.

Also like, you have a body. Take breaks to drink, eat, etc. RPing is a great customizable hobby as far as difficulty and speed goes, but you can't run well on empty.

to put it very simply, practice. If you can't, it's a sign something is amiss. Heed them.

this is the ai anon from before and irenogonffewoonfewon idk how you managed to make my ramblings into an investing narrative, but in that case let me finally put my comp sci courses to good use.

basically, rn we have two major types of ai programs, machine learning and deep learning.

in both cases they use whats called a "black box". the algorithm is given data and a solution and then it has to figure out how to get from a to b.

traditionally, most ai runs on machine learning. we dont teach it how to do something, we just teach it how to learn. its sorta self taught. of course, some algorithms are more supervised than others and often times you give them a sort of base formula to help filter the data they receive (think feeding the ai a bunch of images labelled face and not a face as training data)

but DEEP LEARNING HOLY SHIT. deep learning is why i dont trust ai. humankind went "wow you know what would make our computers faster and smarter. if we modeled them after the human brain". so they built neural networks. with these we give it the problem and a whole bunch of data and say "fix it". the only reason we dont already have sentient sex dolls is because our current programs are only really good at fixing one program at a time (i.e. playing chess, recognizing a face, etc.)

so on a macro level, we know WHAT the program is doing, and we can look at its code and make sure its not like, imploding. but unlike traditional programs you cant really break down the code line by line.

the biggest problem with ai though isnt like the movies where it wants to idk start a robot revolution, but the data we provide is usually flawed. for example, lets say you trained an ai to sort through all your company's job applications to find the best candidates, using the applications that you have accepted in the past as training data. if your company has had decades of misogynistic hiring practices, the ai is going to take that into account. suddenly, its throwing out applications that hint that the applicant is female. spooky right? well, that actually happened with amazon's ai recruiting engine.

the biggest flaw with ai is the data we feed them. they recognize our biases faster than we ever will and then they perpetuate them

now to return to the central topic of. uh. genshin impact sex dolls.

lets assume that the sex dolls are initially trained based on user data, averaged across all users. this would create good starter behavior, right?

except consider the inherent data bias. people who purchase sex dolls are generally gonna be into the kinkier stuff already, which would basically start every android with a one-way ticket to yandere town if their user feeds into that demographic in the slightest. especially the models already intended to be a bit rougher around the edges.

in terms of fixing it, on a global scale, theyd have to add some more protective protcols and sift through the training data to exclude certain outliers or unwanted behavior. on an individual scale, the fastest way would probably be just to reset it to factory conditions.

i also think it'd present a fun new way for androids to get past their safeguards without an apparent glitch. since they're prone to learning from their users and picking up new 'perspectives', safeguards like 'can you physically impair humans who are not your user? [no]' might get changed internally to 'can you protect your user from hostile threats? [yes]'. would it actually fly in most actual ai? probably not. is the programming in my au canonically shotty and am i keeping it in for horny reasons? absolutely.

After almost two weeks playing Dislyte I have learned…

You can get characters without 'wishing'. It takes some time and you have to be fast with certain characters, but that’s a really nice feature (Ripple Dimension)

Ye Suhua and Dhalia are most wanted ripples, everyone will fight for them including me

Stamina fills up much faster than Resin in Genshin, which is awesome but also understandable. It‘s also easier to get more without having to buy with Crystals or other currencies.

There is autoplay it took me several days until I noticed that, how fucking embarrassing is that and you can speed up the game up to 3x

Most People are wholesome and you rarely come across actual assholes.

Channel 8 is the sniffer channel, everyone hates them, but they help and answer questions if you have some. And then they go back to sniffing, which- okay just let them do their thing.

Channel 14 is my to go channel, many Suhua and Dhalia drops hehe

Once, Channel 1 and 2 were the best, but now they are like every other channel (or so they say)

Leveling up is super fast and rather easy, your own level and the ones of your characters.

Clearing the 100th floor on Infinity Tower commands the highest respect, followed by dropping Suhua/Dhalia ripples and telling the channel before, and last getting double or tripple legendaries in a ten pull.

I mean, the simplest refutation is that trans men do not gain privilege or power for being trans men. White women do.

This comparison is based on the idea that intersectionality is just addition and subtraction: racism + misogyny = misogynoir. Transphobia + misogyny = transmisogyny.

Therefore, transandrophobia must = transphobia + androphobia (or misandry), right?

And that's just as silly as claiming that misogyny against white women is a combination of misogyny + reverse racism. Right?

But the thing is that this isn't how intersectionality works. It's not just a combination of two separate experiences happening at once. "Misogynoir" is not When You Are Racist To A Woman, or When You Are Misogynistic To A Black Person. It's a unique axis of oppression with unique tactics that target black women specifically, not just for being black or being a woman individually, but for being black women, as a separate class of person.

Transmisogyny is not just When You Are Misogynistic To A Trans Person, or When You Are Transphobic To A Woman. It is, again, a system that singles out and targets trans women for being trans women, specifically.

Reality is more complicated than Pokemon damage types. Shocking, I know.

So: white women are uniquely privileged for being white women, in a way that is separate from the privilege white men gain for being white men. There are, for example, tactics they can employ to garner sympathy in any given situation; white women literally instruct each other to fake cry if they ever need to win an argument (source: I was one.) This is a really great article on the unique ways in which white women enact racism.

This is not +white privilege, -misogyny. It's a unique manifestation of white privilege that applies to white women for being white women- none of these things are true for every single white person, nor are they true for every single woman. These are not tactics that people who are not white women have access to.

How do trans men factor into this?

Well, for starters: society does not see us as men. It also does not see us as women.

That's true for all trans people. We inhabit unique spaces within the gender "binary" that cis people aren't typically aware of, and certainly won't acknowledge, but are taught to respond to anyway. We're "other". "Failed women" and "failed men", maybe, or "lost women", or just "wrong", or "monstrous". Whatever fits the particular bill.

Transmisogyny is an experience unique to trans women, constructed of tactics and marginalization targeted at and tailored to trans women, because trans women are viewed as a separate class of person. Not as women, not under patriarchy; as failed men, lying "women", wrong, monstrous, etc. As something other than "man" or "woman" the way patriarchy defines those categories.

Trans men are also viewed as a separate class of person. We are not Trans + Man, we are Trans Men. Failed women, lost women, wrong, monstrous- whatever fits the bill, but never Men.

We don't conform. We challenge the gender binary through existence alone. Patriarchy says that men must be awarded manhood, and women must fulfill their obligations as women, and trans men say no. We say that we can assert ourselves as men, and that we aren't obligated to do shit. And patriarchy fucking hates that.

What results is a unique form of oppression, composed of unique tactics targeted at and tailored specifically to trans men, because trans men are viewed as a separate class of person.

White women do not challenge whiteness nor patriarchy by being white women. They are not existing outside of any binaries; they are conforming (in at least some respects) to what patriarchy says a woman should be, and they are certainly not challenging what white supremacy says whiteness is.

White women were factored into whiteness from the start.

Trans men were never factored into manhood or womanhood.

My massive Gideon headcanon (it's sad OUGH)

(cw for mentions of childhood abuse/neglect. doesn't get graphic but there's mentions of it)

So for starters this is going based on the little bits and pieces we even have of Gideons personality, I'm not a professional psychologist or anything, I just like studying psychology and I have random experiences cause i have like c-ptsd n shit so I'm mostly basing it off that (ME PROJECTING AGAIN?!??!?) so yeah

Alr so for starters, I feel like there's 2 reasons why Gideon became the way he is. Either he was a spoiled brat with daddy's money who was never humbled (which I'm pretty sure fits Lucas more cause of that one line)OR he did not have the ideal upbringing at ALL. So I feel like the second option makes a lot more sense from a psychological standpoint. First of all, he very much prefers having control/power over other people and situations, like he NEEDS to have the upper hand. Another thing to point out is that one line were he says hes been stuck in his own head since he was born or smth (the glow stuff yadda yadda). so from that, I think that he had some sort of trauma where he was neglected or even abused during childhood (mostly going off personal experiences rn). I think the hypersexual headcanon also fits into this very well, especially with the possibility of him being neglected/abused. It's his way to gain control of a situation in a way, a way to get attention (not being an attention whore, more like the emotions in the moment) , its also a quick way to get serotonin i guess i forgot the specific chemical. But yeah, this bitch would do anything to avoid dealing with his own emotions. he's aware of his issues but chooses to almost run away from them and resort to self destructive behaviors to "cope". if his needs were never met (specifically emotional) and if it is all he was surrounded by, it would make sense for him to just straight up ignore ramona until she left. like he was probably conditioned by this trauma and would continue what he "learned", not that it's a good thing lmfao but im pretty damn sure he has major abandonment issues, i mean shit he literally froze his other ex girlfriends and mentions how one day they will all go out with him.

But ya you cannot convince me that gideon was a spoiled little kid while im at it imma project and say he grew up in poverty and now impulsively spends money to cope /hj

I really don't like the trend of Pokemon basing starter designs on careers rather than animals. I reeeeaalllyyy dislike it. The whole concept of Pokemon is that they're monsters. Yeah, there have always been Pokemon based on people, but the starters, up until gen six, we're based on animals. Venusaur is a giant toad. Charizard is a dragon. Blastoise is a tortise. But then Chesnaught is an armored knight. Rillaboom is a drummer. Don't get me started on Incineroar, the most disappointing starter final evo imo by a LONG shot. Yeah, obviously they still have animalistic features, but they've stopped prioritizing the animal as the most important part of the design. And it kinda sucks. I want to train an axolotl into a big giant salamander monster. I don't want to raise a little child with a bunny ear headband into a soccer player with a bunny ear headband.

I understand wanting to incorporate aspects of human things into the designs, and I think samurott does a great job of melding the base animal with a human career. Samurott is very clearly a sea lion. He just so happens to have aspects that are based on samurai armor. And these aspects blend into his design very well! He has some shell plating that, yes, resembles the plating if a samurai suit, but the shell plating could also be a very useful adaptation in the wild. It's flexible yet durable protection which is something that a highly territorial and aggressive animal could end up evolving over time.

The gen 9 starters (and gen 8 too, to be fair, but gen 9 is more relevant rn) are a great example of basing Pokemon designs on humans rather than animals. They all seem to be based primarily on circus performers with slight Iberian, Mexican, and Brazilian cultural and animal influences.

Sprigatito, to everyone's dismay, immediately stands up when it evolves. It's final evo is a magician or jester or smtn.

Fuecoco, while he does end up looking more crocodilian than human, does kinda stand up when it attacks from what I've seen, has clown makeup, clown hair, and a clown nose. It could be argued that he's moreso based on Mexican Dia de Los Muertos skull candy designs, and there seem to be some nods to that, but in my opinion it's not similar enough of a design for that to translate very well. Skull candy designs are more finely detailed and intricate than the blocky bright color splotches on Skeleridge's face. Y'know who do have white base paint with big color splotches? Clowns. Not to mention the big orange firey clown nose and unkempt, silly clown hair. The only thing about it that makes me think of Mexican influence is the fact that it's name is SKELEridge and that it's a ghost type.

Quaxly's evo looks like one of those performers that ride the horses around mixed with a somewhat subdued Brazilian carnival dancer costume.

Ah the Spirit tortoise arc, relatively little actually changes surprisingly enough. Aside from the standard overhaul shenanigans that is.

Well for starters, with Ren a permanent addition to the shield family, he’s obviously not going to be with idiot #1 and idiot #2 bow edition.

Ren is actually pretty keen on doing the training, wanting to do his best when fighting side by side with his new family. He greatly respects Eclair and is genuinely excited about learning.

Come to find out, under the cool guy persona, Ren is a total historical arms nerd. From battle strategy to ancient arms and armour, he’s really knowledgeable about pretty much all of it. (Nao: hyperfixation? Ren: hyperfixation.)

Ren is the one to take on Keel as a slave.

Keel is 100% a trans guy and you can’t change my mind. Increasing son count to 2.

TBD filolial acquired during time between books 5 and 6 is introduced here. I’m working on them rn. (I know I saw the ask, just give me some time)

Meeting goes down pretty much the same, albeit with Naofumi giving power up advice that pretty much boiling down to “emotions and vibes, also all cardinal weapons are sentient beings with distinct personalities and.. what? Why are you staring at me like that?” and Ren backing him up. Needless to say, neither are believed. Ren also tries to help make the argument for the world not being a game. It helps a little with Itsuki, but not enough to fully convince him. Motoyasu (derogatory) is solidly unconvinced and it’s gonna be some time before he’ll come around to even listening to his fellow heroes.

Upon discovering all power up methods work, Ren tries again to convince Itsuki that this world is not a game, hoping to use the power up methods as proof of his claim. Results may vary but again Itsuki isn’t totally convinced. Though he promises Ren he’ll be more careful.

Don’t hold your breath, this promise lasts right up until the spirit tortoise appears.

Same as standard plays out except with Ren and the spirits. Also blood cursed naofumi and Ren.

I feel the concept of the blood curse is apparent to this niche community but for those who aren’t as familiar with our, shall we say, improvements; blood cursed is the term for the physical and magickal changes a hero receives after a near death experience from using the cursed series unique to their weapons. For Naofumi, this is an affinity for flame based spells and skills, significantly pointed ears, a tail, and almost neon green eyes with vertical slit pupils. For Ren, it manifests in the characteristic slit pupils and pointed ears, but also in an affinity for wind magic and a set of ornamental bat-like wings which he can use for speed and agility while jumping, but not flight. Said wings are easily hidden under his coat.

Much remains the same from this point on, aside from the aforementioned changes. At least until the otherworld arc 😈 post coming soon.
