Hey so I am unwell

I have had a thought... If Mephone made all of the contestants, how much leeway do we think he had over their personalities?

More specifically for Taco, did he make her with the intent of her being a "villain"? Bc as I see it, either

A. Mephone made Taco as an intended 'twist villain' for his season. Meaning that she was always preset to do some kind of betrayal/reveal, making her actions towards Pickle at least somewhat out of her own control.

Devastating bc it really would make her a little doomed by the narrative. She would probably make her question if she'll ever be able to better herself or if she's doomed to be 'evil' and hated by everyone forever (like she kinda already does).

OR

B. Mephone did not make Taco with any intent of being 'evil', he really did just want her to be a silly random character, and the change in personality and betrayal was entirely HER OWN FAULT.

That would also be terrible bc like. She could have so easily had it good and ruined it by no fault of her creation and/or Mephone.

Leaning towards this one being true bc of Mephone's line in truth or flare that was something around the lines of "You never had a way with words until the day you suddenly did"

Guys. There is no good option.

I remember seeing the first trailer for Splatoon. At first I wasn't interested at all... a shooter game? Not my style of game play... But then I kept watching and wow... I just got so captivated by what I saw that it was the first game I had ever pre-ordered that wasn't a Pokemon game. I used to do something called the "24 hour challenge" something that no one else but me did because I made it up. I would stay up the full 24 hours for Splatfest for the first handful of Splatfests and play the wholeeeee time. Or at least until my brother wanted to play and I'd take a nap, haha. That stopped once school started up again but those memories of my 24 hour challenges are still ones that I hold close to my heart. My first real Splatoon friend was Nick! We would play the new stages together in recon as soon as they would come out and we were both online. We still talk and I'd still consider him one of my closest friends. Thanks for sticking with me all these years Nick, I appreciate you more than words could ever express. I've made more Splatoon friends over the years and I'm happy to have every single one of you. Here's to the future!

Solar does not like them upon first meeting purely on the basis that there must've been a reason Clay got upset if he thought about them too long right? And she thinks Viva REALLY needs to do background checks before just letting anyone in- but he warms up to them ^w^

I think she'd get along most with Branch surprisingly- I'd assume they'd spend more time together when Viva and Poppy hang out, and he's familiar enough that it doesn't have Solar on edge, and she actually really admires him [don't tell anyone but Branch reminds Solar of his sister sometimes, and he finds that a little comforting]

Solar likes Bruce but is lowkey intimidated by him LMAO mostly because he was closest to Clay and the one Clay spoke of the most so Solar's like "oh my god this is the equivalent of meeting their parents since they dont have parents . I have to Impress Bruce constantly . Does Bruce think Im weird . If Bruce thinks I'm weird ill throw myself off a cliff . "

I dont think Solar spends much time with Floyd- Floyd doesn't initiate in fear of making her uncomfortable, and Solar would rather eat a car battery than initiate any interaction. Floyd's pretty okay in her book, and everyone's reaction to Floyd's hair being positive makes him feel better about his own hair

SOLAR DOES NOT LIKE JOHN DORY . number 1 reason Clay did not speak of him fondly so he's been on Solar's hitlist since before he even met him . Number 2 reason he also reminds her of her sister but in a Bad way and Solar doesnt wanna think too hard about that. I think they'd have a bit of a heart warming moment when Solar first reunites with his sister and their relationship kinda improves from there

i’m worried.

worried about a lot of things, but especially about my face. i don’t know if it will ever heal, and the scar keeps spreading and spreading and i’m unsure if it will stop.

well, aside from the crippling loneliness and my anxiety about the scar, i’ve been paying a lot of attention to my surroundings… a lot of bugs to study. moths, spiders, butterflies, beetles, spiders, wasps, i found some sort of weevil looking thing! moths….

…did i mention the spiders and moths?

i’ve also enjoyed learning how to scavenge and identify different plants. so even if the forest isn’t that good for my physical, it isn’t always that bad.

had the worst tacos of my life last night im still thinking abt them. it was like $20 for 2 (ROBBERY. WHAT THE HELL) and they were massive which is actually very unpleasant in a taco bc it makes them difficult to eat. tacos are meant to be like 4 bites max anything bigger and you shouldve made a burrito. though this wouldve been forgivable if the filling was good but it wasnt. it was like a taco size tortilla with a burrito size scoop of extremely wet shredded pork, underseasoned as hell, with way too much salad (mesculun lettuce too. the worst kind) and barely any pineapple or onion on top. totally out of wack ratio. the soggy pork was slopping out the sides and it tasted like bad. absolutely miserable nonsense taco im still quite upset about it.
