Also I just need to talk about the music production and mixing for a second. This movie has three version of Better Place, all of which are unique. The main one is the NSYNC version, which is notable for it's little rap section. The Family Harmony version use's the intro/pre-chorus as the main part of the song. It also lets the song slowly built, and adds instrumentals as the song progresses. The Reunion version doesn't use the intro/pre-chorus, but rather mainly focuses on the chorus. It also uses the bridge from the main song as the post-chorus/refrain. Just a very creative use of the song tbh. Also the instrumental differences between Watch Me Work and Mount Rageous? Like it's the same song, but the way they add more classical elements and more layers to build the tension and the song as a whole?? I have no words. Perfection.

"What did you do?" Marks voice breaks the silence that has been filling the room. His words were quiet, like they just happened to slip through his lips. He speaks again, but this time, much harsher.

"What did you do!" This times his voice is filled with anger and rage, something I am not used to hearing, especially directed towards me. I tear my eyes away from where the wormhole once was, the place my eyes had been glued before. I look at his face and it has an expression I am not used to seeing. He's angry, furious, and he looks at me with a scowl on his face.

"I- Mark I-" I try to form words, but they fail me as my eyes start to water up, invisible to Mark due to the helmet on my head.

"You destroyed everything! I spent an eternity in hell, rebuilding this machine and you threw it all way!" He slowly steps closer as he yells and I try to move away but my feet feel glued to the floor. "I don't know if you're evil or just stupid!" His last words are filled with venom. It feels like daggers are flying out of his lips and stabbing me in the heart. Suddenly my legs feel weak and the tears slide from my eyes and roll down my cheeks. I try to speak but all that escapes is a loud sob. And I break. I break like I was made of glass and just hit me with a bat.

Marks face softens, he stops speaking and his arms slowly drop back down to his sides. He is unsure of what was it he heard. It sounded like a sob but he hadn't made any noise. His cheeks are dry and no tears are escaping from his eyes. Then he notices the Captain. Their legs are visibly shaking and their hands are formed in a ball. Their chest is quickly heaving up and down and not a word is coming from behind their helmet. He slowly raises his hand to rest on their shoulder.

"Captain?" He asks quietly, trying to see if it was them who made the noise. Suddenly the sound of sobs is all that can be heard throughout the quiet room. He doesn't know what to do. He caused this. He shouldn't have yelled at them, they were trying to help...

"Captain, I-" He pauses a loss for words, "I'm sorry..." Quickly the captain moves, so quickly Mark is barely able to see what their doing until it's already done. The captain pulls off their helmet, reveling their messy hair and tear stained face. Mark is shocked, never once has he seen the captain without their helmet. In any universe, every situation, their face had always been hidden. He is just disappointed it was in these terms that he say it.

The captain forces themselves to sit down, their legs feeling feeling too weak to be able to stand. They bring their hand to their face and fully let go. Getting out all the stress, sadness, grief, loneliness, and everything else they've been keeping in. Mark stands above them, unaware of what he should do. Once their crying has started to slow down, the tears don't fall as quickly and their breath is slow and hollow, do they finally meet his eyes, face to face for the first time.

Mark feels tears well in his eyes as they look up at him, cheeks still wet, eyes red and hands shaking still. "Captain... I'm so sorry... I should have never yelled at you.." He finally says, sitting down beside them.

"It's okay, I messed up... lots of times..." They let out a dry laugh. "And I failed.... as a captain.." They head drops downwards.

"What? No you were the best captain, you were brave and strong and pushed through to do what was right... and you saved me... and fixed everything." He rambles, looking over at the captain with a faint smile. They continued to look down, avoiding eye contact. Mark takes this moment to admire their features he had never seen before. Their hair, slightly messy from being kept trapped up in that helmet all this time. Their eyes that are slightly difficult to see at this point from where he is sitting. He sharply inhales before wrapping his arms around them. There is only a brief pause before the captain wraps their arms around him in return.

Mark lets out a soft sigh and one of his gloved hands rest on their head and the other at the middle of their back. They sit in peace, glad that they finally have a minute to breathe, and even more glad that everything is over. Mark goes to pull away but stops when he notices that the captains body is now leaning more heavily on his.

"Captain? Are you sleeping?" They jump a bit before pulling away from him.

"Sorry! It's just been so long since... I've gotten a moment to rest." They admit and Mark just smiles back at them.

"I agree. Once everything goes back to normal, I promise you can sleep as much as you need." He says with a friendly smile.

Realizing you're aromantic and/or asexual can be really hard, and I've seen others' experiences be similar to mine. I think, in a way, it's so hard bc pursuing relationships is the norm for most of the world.

Thinking back to that one lesson we had in ethics class I'll never forget, we had to write down something about the meaning of life. And then everyone should say what they have written down and what their idea was. Most people wrote down having a family. I don't even know what I wrote down (probably something like a happy life or something basic), but I talked about how meaning of life doesn't have to be having a family. And the teacher basically laughed at me for saying that bc that's the whole point of being a human!!!

And I guess from that day I had this one sided beef / grudge against this teacher bc how the hell are you an ethics teacher and think so one-sided 😭 Sure, humans start families so they don't die out, but not EVERY human needs to start a family to have a purpose in life?

So yeah, anyway. Aspecs are very nuanced, there are those who have platonic relationships, people who enjoy sex although they are not attracted to someone, I myself am absolutely repulsed by anything sexual and I don't ever want any type of relationship, I don't like being lovey dovey, and I hate being too close to someone, like hugging, etc. On the outside I've always been very distant, but on the inside I have all the love I don't have for romance, for my friends and for this world instead 😌🙏

I guess I can really seem too cold or maybe even angry, bc it's hard for me to properly show my emotions, and that's why I prefer text over word, I can express myself so freely and can add all the silly little emotes I want :3

Linda and Lawrence suddenly disappeared one day while on a date (but I will say they're not dead), the kids were home when it happened. And all of a sudden they were going be taken away- but it was also suspicious on how fast these "authorities" came, so Perry, having to give up his cover, took it upon himself to take the kids under his wing and adopt them so they wouldn't be separated and thanks to Doof (he's a good guy who still does inators for fun) for providing evidence that he can take care of the kids, and that Doof himself was raised by ocelots

It's Danville, no one really questions stuff much, so they just let him lmaoo

So the kids (including the gang, cuz they also know too much now) goes into a "OWCA protection" program, much to the dismay of Perry, but the kids needed some training cuz something fishy was going on, and were given assigned agents. Peter The Panda and Perry were off teaching the Flynn-Fletcher kids while the other agents dealt with the others- everything's turning alright. And it goes on after weeks of them all getting to know each other

Turns out Peter had been a snitch the entire time and has doing some shady things for someone in tri-state area, and that knowing and even finding out about this fact greatly upsets Phineas cuz he thought they were all friends and he gets his tooth busted by Peter so he can make a quick getaway and burning down bridges he made

This causes a total shift in Phineas' outgoing personality and snaps. With his parents disappearance and someone he thought was a friend betraying them and him being hurt- everything echoes and weight just piles down upon his shoulders

(The others like Isabella, Buford and Baljeet, weren't at all like the originals in the first place, they molded into their own thing- Buford and Baljeet kinda staying the same in a way??

With Candace and Ferb, they kinda also molded into their own thing, something opposite of their og, but I kinda based Platydad!Phineas on the original, snarky Phineas from the beginning and also gave some of that snark to Ferb as well xD)

You rolled over to see Eddie smiling at you softly and knowingly. You groaned and lifted your head, feeling some music sheets sticking to your face. Eddie chuckled and removed the sheets, then kissed your forehead. All the other members of Corroded Coffin were looking at you with curious yet sympathetic expressions.

“I guess I fell asleep again,” you said, a little ashamed.

“It would appear so,” Jeff chuckled. 

“Baby, you can’t keep doing this, it’s not healthy to be working this much,” Eddie said softly. 

“I haven’t been working too much, you’re just always extra worried about me,” you pointed out.

“Baby, the band and I had a talk, and we all agree you’re doing too much!” Eddie said softly. 

“I’m not, I’m totally good!” you argued.

“Y/N,” Gareth said slowly, “this is the third band practice in a row that you’ve fallen asleep during. You need to feel better, I mean, when was the last time you had a vegetable?”

“Since when do you care about vegetables?” you giggled, standing up to stretch.

“Since they haven’t been jumping into action to keep my gorgeous girlfriend healthy!” Eddie pouted, holding you around your waist. 

“I’m okay, really, you guys,” you said, kissing Eddie quickly on the lips. “But I love that you care so much for me,” you smiled, “and I love you all.”

“I love you too, which is why-” Eddie scooped you up in his arms, “you are taking a break.”

“A break?” you asked, laughing as Eddie carried you to your room.

“Yes, a break,” Gareth said as he walked behind you and Eddie. 

“You’ve been working way too hard, and you always worry about us, making sure we’ve got food and all our homework done, so it’s about time that we take care of you!” Jeff said. “So,”

“So, we’re going to spend the rest of today and tomorrow making sure that our amazing vocalist is rested and rejuvenated,” Eddie said sweetly, laying you down in your bed and taking off your shoes.

“You guys can’t possibly be serious,” you said. “How are we going to have band practice if I’m not there?”

“Well, that’s the thing,” Jeff smiled, “we’re going to pamper you!” he said.

“Behold, m’lady,” Eddie said as he presented a big bag. “I compiled it while you were snoozing,” he winked.

“And just what is in this mysterious pampering bag?” you asked humorously. 

“Everything you’ll need for a relaxing time with the guy you love most,” Eddie said with a wink, tossing you some pajamas. 

“And we’ll be waiting on you hand and foot, Miss Y/N,” Gareth said royally, making you laugh.

“You guys are too good to me,” you smiled softly.

“You’re always the one looking out for us, so we figured it’s time we pay it back,” Jeff smiled. “Now go get changed! We have face masks in two minutes!”

You changed quickly, and when you exited the bathroom, Eddie was sitting on your bed in comfy clothes and his hair pulled back. 

“First task! We got this gloopy thing for your faces,” Jeff grinned, holding up a few clay mask jars. You chuckled as you sat down in front of Eddie, who kissed you softly.

“Now, apply the mask to your partner,” Gareth instructed. Eddie took a glob of the face mask and dotted it all over your face. 

“You’re being very strategic,” you smirked.

“I recently learned about the T-zone,” Eddie said happily, moving his finger down the bridge of your nose.

“Impressive,” you said as you started to spread the mask on his face.

“And don’t worry, I’ve already requested that these two leave us alone after this,” Eddie whispered, winking at you.

“Aw, I like them! But spending some one-on-one time with you does sound wonderful,” you smiled softly.

“Yes, we’ve been accused of being, what was the word, Gareth?”

“I believe the word was miscreants, Jeff,” Gareth replied, feigning offense. 

“But, because we love you, Y/N, we’re going to be here for whatever you need,” Jeff finished.

“Thanks, you guys, it means a lot to me that you guys care so much.”

“You’re our family, Y/N, and we’ve got to look out for each other. If you still refuse to break up with Eddie, we have to save you some other way,” Jeff shrugged. 

“You see? Miscreants,” Eddie whisper-yelled. 

“Whatever, we’re gonna go pick up food, so we’ll be back,” Gareth said, patting Jeff on the back. 

“Bye, you guys, thanks again!” you said cheerily.

“You are very welcome,” Jeff said, then waved at you both. 

Eddie looked over at you, smiling softly. His face mask cracked a little on the corners of his mouth, and a little by his eyes. He held your hand lightly as you both looked at each other, soaking in the peace and rare alone time. You gazed back at him lovingly, looking into his soft brown eyes. One of his curls had fallen out of his ponytail, so you moved it behind his ear. Wordlessly, he moved himself to sit against the headboard as you moved to sit in front of him, leaning back into his chest. He wrapped his arms around yours as he sighed contentedly. 

“I can’t remember the last time I rested like this,” you said quietly. Eddie hummed and hugged you tighter.

“I’m glad we’re doing this, then. You deserve to take a break just like the rest of us. It’s not good for you to be overworking yourself and also picking up our slack.”

“It doesn’t feel that way,” you said. “I just feel like I’m doing my job.”

“Well, either way, we need to stop taking you for granted. I need to stop taking you for granted.”

“Sweetheart,” you said with concern, turning to face him, “when have you ever taken me for granted?” As you looked at him, you took the washcloth by the bed and began gently removing the mask from his face. 

“All the time! I mean, you’re always so kind, always looking out for me, and I feel like I do nothing. I mean, look at us right now! Here you are taking care of me even when it’s your day,” he said sadly. 

You leaned forward and kissed Eddie, holding his cheek. The kiss was deeper and longer than usual, and Eddie, a bit surprised, held your waist softly. 

“Loving you and the band makes me happy,” you said, rubbing his cheek.

Eddie grabbed the other washcloth and pensively cleaned your face. “I just don’t want it to take away from you or make you feel like you’re not loved back by me, and I want you to know I appreciate you,” he said somberly.

“I do know,” you encouraged him. “You can’t take someone for granted if you love them, and you, Eddie Munson, are a lover,” you said quietly, pressing your forehead to his. He smiled as he held your hands, leaning in for another kiss.

rambling about mi and my art for a sec. ups and downs. downs and ups.

back during covid restrictions i was basically free to make my art as long as i needed/wanted. every post could take weeks and it would be fine because i had more energy than i was used to.

physically going to & from school took so much hours of my day not just bc of commute time but bc i'm just always so tired from something, and simple tasks take... forever. not having to deal with that 6 days a week gave me so much. time. i could actually sleep a good amount of hours and take care of myself and the house... and draw what i wanted. and have some free time for other activities. and participate in [albeit online] social stuff.)

in 2022 after the end of the restrictions, i got back to uni and it felt... i don't know. i got so used to not being questioned (abt my names, my gender) and used to being surrounded by nice or like-minded ppl and i had to, lose that. i was being seen physically again, by all sorts of people and i felt so, slow. i couldn't make friends for a year and everyone felt so ahead of me.

i eventually lost knowing how to draw/talk about the things i liked in ways i wanted. i felt like i got replaced by someone else without noticing. i felt lost. i lost very important people in different ways. one died and one... got tired of me.

some updates & positives though yippee :]

i started making art of me n my closest friends again. we got very disconnected in 2021 (and to some extent, 2022) bc all of us were experiencing our own fucked up shit due to the isolation. i think talking to each other made us all too aware of how separated we were and it didn't help anybody.

[also bc their main game is Leeg of Lehgehnds and i'm noooooooooot interested /j]

some of them who now live in other cities visited a few times and it was always fun (and very, very, loud.)

also started reconnecting with other people i lost contact with over the restriction.

got to draw a lot in February actually, especially after meeting some new friends. they're probably like the nicest people i've ever met irl. i don't think i've met nicer people (sorry closest friends </3.) i feel bad swearing around them bc they don't even do that lmaoo omg.

got my teeth cleaned and one of my molars removed after weeks of aching and noticed a small inflamed part of my gums 😭

i bought a little table :D so i didn't have to work with my stuff on the bed or the floor anymore.
