itty bitty comic that took me WAYYY longer than i expected :'] i was trying to test the viability of this medium for sequential art and the answer is Yes it kind of works but Only if you have both a ton of patience and time on your hands. i think this turned out kinda swag for a first attempt!

anyways this was going to be the beginning of a short story but now i've moved and. no longer live in the forest anymore kjfdksj so might have to rethink it slightly

I'll probably make a longer post about this when I have a chance to rewatch some of the epsiode but I don't think whatever is going on with Ayden is strictly a Jesus situation (at least in the most obvious sense). I wonder if the reason Ayden has been alternatively talking as if he's Pelor and as if he's a child of the Dawnfather is that he is still undergoing the god version of anamnesis. Ayden is only fifteen while most of the other gods are in their thirties or older. Consecuted souls start to remember their past selves and integrate those memories with their current child self around adolescence and its implied that the process takes many years and is extreamly difficult. And that's only for integrating past mortal lives, not that of an infinite god. Given his youth it makes so much sense to me that Ayden would not be completely integrated with the Dawnfather, that his identity would be fractured. The framework of Pelor being like a father to him makes sense of the way a teenager would try to make sense of slowly realizing he's a god.
