Sure, you can do as he says, killing the entity in the basement, whether she’s a Princess or... something else. Or you can try to find some other way out of the eternity of choices and twisting paths you and the “Princess” have found yourselves in. You might find, however, that some decisions will reshape the world in ways that only make things worse...

We've got a demo on Steam and itch that covers the first chapter of the game, and it should run pretty well on most Mac, Windows, and Linux machines! There's achievements in the Steam version too, and it usually takes a little over an hour to get them all!

i often think about grians fear alignments (like the magnus archives) and easiest is eye because of watcher and then lonely cus of a super cool post i saw earlier (if i can find it ill reblog it) BUT

So I get why people didn’t like episode 7, it feels weak, especially compared to the rest of season 5. But I need it to be known that Helen has completely taken over my mind body and soul. I tried to go to sleep last night but I could only think of her. I tried thinking of Scenarios with my OCs because that usually helps me sleep and she was there. I can’t get her out of my head. I don’t know why I’m so suddenly obsessed with the silly donut woman but I have been bewitched. She only has what feels like 5 minutes of screen time and yet she might just be my favorite side character in the entire series.

I don’t know if I want to see her in every single episode going forward or if I want this to be her one and only appearance. Either way, queen.

i made ocs for this fandom ooo awesome. hi no spoilees im only on episode 51 !!! heres their lore tma fandom hi.

calypso and seth are part of the same one. basically theyre american calypso gets partnered with him to go to the art institute for some school thing and weird things happen. stranger adjacent stuff yes! seth is the cause ooh.

lazarus is like...institute worker of some sort (i havent decided yet oops) and they. ive been trying to figure out what entity i want to adjacent them to. the lonely would be cool. or maybe the flesh.

I wish someone WOULD steal my body for 6 months, sleep peacefully every night in it, get lots of hugs (no Bad feelings about them bc I'm not there! All of the psychological benefits none of the downsides!), eat protein daily, maybe work out a skincare routine, meanwhile the whole time I'm taking a six month long nap! we say harrow is having a bad time in these books but is this not the dream?

HC: gotham is basically night vale but metropolitan. actually, it's even weirder than night vale -- the entire city is thoroughly haunted, for one. it's not known exactly what percentage of those who walk the streets at night (or in broad daylight) are non-corporeal entities, but every gothamite has at least one ghost encounter story, bare minimum.

the ghosts are as varied as the residents themselves -- some look the same as they did in the moment of their death while some can pass as living humans and are even solid to the touch, some can possess the living, some are residual hauntings stuck in a loop, etc.

the city also seems to be partially sentient -- or the architecture, at least. the gargoyles are frequently found in positions that are unmistakably different than the ones they were in yesterday. and not everyone knows this, but if you engage them in conversation, they'll whisper city secrets into your ear. the buildings shift and morph, moving streets and changing their shapes and interior designs randomly.

this can be beneficial to residents, but it's unpredictable -- the city might suddenly grow a fully-furnished hideout in part of an abandoned building that aids a costumed crook in hiding from their pursuer, but it would just as soon form an opening in an alley wall that subsumes the villain when they enter.

time is also wonky; it's distinctly non-linear and different periods bleed into each other, whether that be in the form of cultural anachronisms or entire human beings temporarily (or permanently!) shifting twenty years into the future. some theorize that gotham has multiple timelines running concurrently; since that would be one explanation as to why gothamites so often disagree on when, how, and even if certain events occurred.

there are other entities, of course; hundreds of them. the liquid shadows that manifest from the dark corners of alleys, healing broken bones and ruptured organs, saving people from dying like dogs in the street. seemingly non-sentient but still unnatural artifacts like books that seem to impart knowledge far beyond what their pages could reasonably contain -- books that no librarian ever seems to know the exact origins of. people who try to catalogue the anomalies tend to disappear under dubious circumstances -- so few are inclined to try, at this point. it's just an accepted part of life.
