The Chancellor was going to know. He would hear about all of this immediately. Nothing stayed secret for long. He would hear about all of this, and he would punish Fox, he would punish him for being weak, insubortinate and defective, he would send Fox back to Kamino, and they would finally cut him open and into pieces like the failed experiment that he was- He startled when Pinch grabbed him by the shoulders. "Commander", Pinch called. He sounded like he was on the other side of the room, instead of just a few inches off of Fox's face. "Commander, I need you to breathe, please?" Fox was breathing. He could feel his chest heaving. Senator Organa appeared into his field of view as well, then. He didn't come as close as Pinch, but he was close enough that Fox thought that he could almost feel his presence there, like some sort of wall, a wall that would shield him from the rest of the Galaxy and anyone in it that ever wanted to harm him. Fox breathed in deep. His ears had been ringing, which he noticed only when it started to subside. Immediately all the blood in his body rushed to his face, aided by shame. It wasn't an actual claim. It wasn't real. Why was his body treating it like such?

Unfortunately for all my mutuals tho the Star Wars brainrot has faded a bit so what I have is instead a wip from a tma what if kind of fic titled “My reason to go on (what happens when it’s gone)”

Thankfully this is pretty spoiler free considering the rest of this fic (that makes me sob) also a bit more than a line purely because I got excited about is apologies akdkdk

He felt hollowed out and weak, like he could crumple on the ground right there to make himself as small as possible, if only to try and hide from the memories that had only a few seconds ago felt like a comfort. For now they only served as a reminder of what he had failed. The visceral pain of knowing he was alone crashed over him like the high tides he’d almost been crushed by as a child. He lifted his hand and fisted the front of his sweater to tug at it, suddenly feeling like his chest was seizing, ignoring how stiff the blood stained fabric was between his fingers.

He wished he could say it was Oliver’s.

👻 Is there a new genre you'd like to write?

oh gosh, good question. this'd be easier to answer if i actually consciously thought about genre when i write stuff 😅 uhh, well i've got this one WIP that's like a sort of historical fiction/thriller type thing?? i don't even know if thriller's the right word it might be more of an action-y story. there's also romance in it? the romance is simultaneously not the focus and also a driving force of the characters' motivations. if that makes sense. it's been rotating in my brain since 2022, and the whole thing's plotted out, but i've hardly, yknow, written most of it. it's my favorite WIP and i really want to do it justice, but i think that's holding me back a bit bc i'm one of those people who's like "i need to get it perfect on the first draft or i will die" even though i know that's what the editing/revising section is for. you know how it is. i do really want to share it, though, so it'll get written. eventually.

I thought I'd use this to properly re-introduce myself. These days I have a lot going on irl, so I'm not as interactive on here as I used to be. However, I love making new friends and getting to know their projects :D Some of my most important friends are from here, even if most of them are no longer active on writeblr (we have migrated to discord), so if you think we'd vibe pls shoot me a message!!

As Ava slowly learns the magnitude of how terrible Ben's situation (and impossible his future) truly are, she finds herself embroiled in a larger conflict, ready to hook its claws into her as well. And the one person she cares about most - who always had her back - is gone. So despite everything, there's only really one choice: Find out how to save him and try anyways.

When the fifth moon hatches during Thorn's own naming ritual, making her one of 2 people who saw it happen, she knows she's been chosen. But back at home, nobody believes what she saw, choosing to instead take the moon's disappearance as a sign of celebration as it mirrors religious scriptures. So Thorn sets out to find physical proof, and uses the opportunity to document her travels. She doesn't know that her view of the world will be thoroughly challenged, but she also doesn't know about the friends she'll make <3

ive written nearly 3k words today as a literary analysis of tma and tmagp (also working on cross-analyzing tma with reference to the hunger games) and im chasing it by starting a martin fanart wip. the brain rot is so advanced ive accumulated a fine layer of detritus with a diverse ecosystem of decomposer organisms.
