"It was like you never existed," Leo whispered miserably. "Things were different, but we didn't know it. All the stuff you'd ever built was all gone: the T-Phones, the Shellraiser. Your lab never existed--"
"My lab?" Donnie interrupted.
Leo winced. "It, um, has a half-pipe now. It's a skate room."
"What?!" Donnie's eyes bulged.
"Yeah, um, mostly Mikey and Casey use it to practice tricks. Mondo Gecko comes over sometimes.
"Donnie blinked at Leo. "MONDO. GECKO. IS DOING KICK FLIPS IN MY LAB?!"
Leo stifled a laugh. The situation was, of course, very serious.
"I regret everything." Donnie said, deadpan. "We should've let reality get deleted rather that create a doomed dystopian hellscape."
Eventually, as happened most nights, someone called for the keys to the cages and the soldiers in the room shoved an unlucky rookie into the center of a growing circle. The door of Leo's cell was unlocked, and a few pairs of hands reached inside, hoisting him to his feet and yanking him out of the cage. The men laughed as they pushed him ahead of them, leaving Donnie behind.
Donnie's heart dropped.
"Wait!" Donnie cried. He leaned forward and shook the bars of his cage. "You want a real fight, you fuckwads? Hey! HEY!"
Still many changes to be made to be sure, but I wanted to get the girls outta the way first because they are (way) easier for me to draw. (Just the nature of the beast for me) It’s funny to see how the designs in Aliea have changed though, even if it’s just slight.
