Barns-Rogers Daughter
This is my first time writing so sorry if it was bad lol I really want to keep writing on this story but I might change it to y/n but when I view this character I cant help but think her name is Magnolia lol
I don't think there is any warnings or anything :)
words: 992
Magnolia loved her dads very much.  Even if they were extremely overprotective of their one and only child. Magnolia hated the name her dads gave her. Magnolia Carter Barnes-Rogers. How much worse of an old lady name could you get. She generally only responded to Mags, unless she was in big trouble with her Pops. She grew up in the Stark tower, it was a big dysfunctional family but she truly did love it. Even if it meant everyone was constantly in her business.
“Mags, it's time for dinner!” Tony yelled from the kitchen.
Friday nights the whole team ate together when there wasn’t a mission. It was something you always grew up doing and you knew there was know way out of it. But you had other plans than eating greasy take out and hearing Sam and Bucky fight over who was the strongest. Your classmate Flash was throwing a huge party tonight since his parents were out of town. You knew your dads would never allow you to go, first of all it was family night, secondly it was an unsupervised teenage party.
“Where is she? She’s normally the first one down here on Chinese food nights” Sam stated as he shifted through the various take out containers.
“I’ll go get her from her room, she probably has F.R.I.D.A.Y. Blaring her music again” Steve said as he headed down the hall.
Your Pops hated the music you listened to. He loved you very much but he didn’t understand your taste in music or your style. Yon wore primarily black clothing, you would have your hair colored darker if your dads allowed these kinds of things. You also weren’t allowed to wear makeup even though you were almost 17. Nat did buy you some for your 15th birthday and you hid it in a small bag in your backpack. You put it on after Happy dropped you off at school and quickly removed it before getting picked back up. Once he approached the door of your room, he quietly knocked, noticing no music playing.
“Mags, are you in there? Dinner is ready” Steve stated with no response.
“Mags I’m coming in” your Pops opened the door quickly while covering his eyes just in case you were changing and didn’t hear him. He dropped his hand and looked around. No one was in there. He went into the conjoined bathroom attached to your room. Again, you were not there. Steven went back into the kitchen.
“Mags isn’t in her room…” Steve stated in a nervous tone.
“I’m sure she is fine, probably just got held up at school” Nat defended you.
Just as she finished her sentence you tried to sneak through the back door. Unfortunately, F.R.I.D.A.Y. Announced your arrival.
“Magnolia Barnes-Rogers entered through the back door.”
“Shit, I thought I disabled her recognition of me…” you stopped talking when you were met with a large figure at the door. It was your Pops. You let out a bit gulp, knowing you had been caught.
“Magnolia Carter Barnes-Rogers…. First of all language, secondly you disabled F.R.I.D.A.Y.” He stated in a big booming voice that made shivers go down your spine.
You just stood there, eyes widened. You were unsure of what to say because any response would’ve pissed off your Pops.
You were thinking as quickly as possible on how to get out of this situation.
“I…I… was just getting some tutoring from Peter on the calculus homework” you stuttered immediately regretting the words coming out of your mouth.
“You were at Peter’s house…alone?” Bucky came around and entered the conversation.
You shrunk down.
“Well kind of…Its not a big deal” you huffed, crossing your arms
“Excuse me? It is a big deal if we say it is. Why are you asking Peter for help on your calculus homework anyway? You've never had trouble before.” Steve stated with a confused look on his face.
He wasn't wrong, you've never struggled in school. Well that is until now anyway. It honestly wasn't that you were struggling and more about you just not doing your work. You had been staying up late helping tony in the lab or talking on the phone with peter so your schoolwork got put on the back burner.
You just stood there and rolled your eyes. You knew it would piss them off but we hoping it would at least get you out of this conversation so you could escape to your room and make a plan for tonight.
“Thats it Mags, disabling FRIDAY, not telling us where you were going after school and now the attitude? You are grounded for 1 week” Bucky said sternly, matching you stand and starring you down.
“WHAT?” you yelled. This definitely wasn't the first time you have been grounded but you were not expecting to get grounded from simply going to Peter's house after school without asking first.
“Hand over your phone” your dad said through his clenched teeth.
“Here you go!” you screamed, throwing your phone against the ground and storming off to your room.
The other avengers were in the kitchen still but heard every word of the conversation you had with your dads.
“What has gotten into her?” Bucky turned towards Steve who was picking your thrown phone up off the floor.
This was slightly unusual behavior for you. You definitely were more hot headed, taking after your dad. You were a little more on the feisty side and frequently picked fights at school but it had been a while since you acted like that.
Once you reached your room, you slammed your door and locked it. You grabbed your laptop and started working on disabling FRIDAY so you could still go to that party tonight. Nothing was going to stop you from going now, not your dads and especially not an AI system.

Imagine Tony finds out he has a daughter.
When Tony found out he had a 15 year old daughter he froze. Rhodey had told him, you had just lost your mother. Tony was your only living relative, but Tony was scared. Then he remembered when his own parents died and how he had felt. Tony decided that he should let the girl live with him and the Avengers.
The day you arrived at the tower Tony realized just how introverted you were. Your files told him that you had phenomenal grades, she was a genius.
You rarely talked to Tony. You would go to school make good grades, and never asked for anything.
The team grew worried when you spent most of the time in your room. So, Tony went to your room and knocked on the door..
“(Y/N) we are about to watch a movie, come join us,” says Tony.
“I don’t feel like watching a movie Tony,” you say from the other side of the door.
Tony stood outside your door but decided not to bother you and left to the others.
“Where’s (Y/N)?” asked Bruce.
“Said she didn’t feel like watching a movie,” says Tony.
“She doesn’t feel like doing a lot of things,” says Natasha.
“Yeah I’ve noticed,” says Steve.
“You should go talk to her Cap, your good with the authority stuff,” says Sam.
Steve looks over at Tony to see if he wanted him to talk to his daughter. Tony only nodded.
Steve leaves to talk to you. He knocks on the door, and you open thinking it was Tony.
“Oh, I thought you were Tony,” you say.
“We are worried about you,” says Steve.
“Why?” you ask.
“You are always locked in your room and you don’t talk to your father or any of us,” points out Steve.
“So if I spoke with Tony he would listen, he spends most of his time in his lab. And I know I’m not really wanted here, otherwise I would have met him a long time ago,” you say.
“Your mother didn’t tell him about you,” says Steve.
“My mom told me she had called him when she found out she was pregnant with me and he told her to get lost,” you say.
“You need to tell Tony all this, I’ll call him over, I’m sure he will give you an explanation,” says Steve.
Steve tells Friday to call for Tony. once Tony arrived and Steve left.
“Did my mom call you to tell she was pregnant with me?” you ask.
“She called me once, but only to ask for money,” says Tony.
“Mom told me you told her to get lost,” you say.
“If I had known about you, I would have been there for you. My father never told me cared for me, I just found out I’m a father but I know I don’t want you to feel uncared for,” says Tony.
You look into his eyes to detect the lie, but you see none. “What movie were you going to watch?” you asked. “(YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE NAME),” says Tony.
“That’s my favorites movie,” you say.
Both you and Tony go to the common room to watch the movie with the other Avengers.

Eyes Closed
Tony Stark x Fem!Reader
❀ Premise: You go out for the first time in a long time after a nasty break-up with your ex, who also happens to be at the party. Thankfully, Tony is there to comfort you. Set in the Age of Ultron party before everything goes to shit.
❀ Word Count: 1,770
❀ Contains: Ex-Fiance Random Guy, Angst?, Fluff?, Flirting
❀ Inspiration: Eyes Closed by Halsey
//Now if I keep my eyes closed he feels just like you// But you've been replaced// I'm face to face with someone new
By the time you wake up, the sun is already starting to set. Your gaze falls on the alarm clock next to your bed, which has been blaring the same song on repeat for the past 5 hours. The time you had set your alarm for had long since passed, and anything you had planned to do that day was thrown out the window. The only consequences you would receive for this were media speculation, and maybe the loss of a friend. You had lost so many friends these past few months that losing one more meant nothing to you. You were depressed.
You struggle to get out of bed but eventually, you can walk to the bathroom. You stare at yourself in the mirror. You still had makeup on from the previous night and your hair was a mess. Despite sleeping for almost the whole day, your eyes still had dark circles under them. You looked almost as bad as you felt. All you wanted to do was crawl back into bed and cry, but you knew that you had to go to an event tonight; The event.
After removing your makeup, you brush your teeth and put your hair into a bun. You reapply your makeup and move to your large, walk-in closet to pick out your outfit. You run your fingers across the dresses as you walk through the closet, before stopping at a knee-length dress with a rose print, repeating evenly throughout the dress over pastel pink fabric. It has long sleeves and a corset that begins under the breast and ends where your hips begin. You pair it with skin-toned heels and a gold clutch.
You check the time on your phone; 8:30 pm. If you left right away, you would be able to make it to the event on time and might even arrive a couple minutes early. That was a rarity for you these days.
You do not speak to the cab driver on the way to the Avengers Tower where the event was being held. It was not a significant event in any sense of the word, just a party that the Avengers were throwing, but it meant that you would have to see him. It had been almost 6 months since your break up, and since then it had been radio silence. The first time you had heard from him was last week, when you received a card in the mail inviting you to this event.
You had been in a long-term relationship with a friend of Tony Stark's for 3 years. This man had proposed to you, and you were starting to look at locations for your wedding when you found out he had been cheating on you for the past few months. You didn't know who he was cheating on you with, and you didn't care. You were the one who ended things. Even though he was the one who cheated on you, public opinion turned against you and not him. He was a good man at heart, or so you thought, and it was hard to move on from what you had together. In fact, you still hadn't moved on.
When you arrive, you step out into a sea of flashing lights and are bombarded with questions from the press. It is overwhelming. You do a couple poses on the red carpet, ignoring everything being asked by the press and everyone else around you. It takes you 10 minutes to reach the front door of the building.
Once you are inside, you are thoroughly screened by security. You are asked all the standard questions.
" What is your name?" The security guard asks.
"My name is (y/n)."
He checks off your name on the guest list.
"Do you have any weapons?"
"No"
"Do you plan on harming anyone?"
"No"
After this, you go through three different kinds of metal detectors and a body scanner before being escorted to the elevator. The security guard takes you up to the floor where the party is being held, letting you know a few more important details during the elevator ride.
"All guests are expected to leave the premises by one am unless permission is granted by Mr. Stark. If you feel threatened at any time please inform security. Enjoy yourself, but please remember to behave reasonably. You will be removed from the premises if you become a hazard. Mr. Stark thanks you for coming to this party."
With a loud ding, the elevator door opens. You walk out into a simple, modern suite. You see members of the Avengers hanging out around the bar with a few old folks. As you pass them, you overhear a conversation between Thor and an army vet about some kind of ancient alcohol. You mind your own business and weave through the crowds of people to find an isolated corner in the room.
No one pays any attention to you, and you'd like to keep it that way but there's one person in particular you hope won't find you in this crowd of people. Of course, your ex is the first person to find and talk to you.
"Hi, (y/n) how have you been?" He asks.
How have I been? You think I've been depressed for months. I've been sleeping way too much and have lost all my friends. Life has been hell, and it's all thanks to you.
"I'm fine, thanks for asking. What have you been up to these last few months?" You respond.
"Oh, nothing to fancy. I just recently agreed to help fund Tesla's new space program and was approved to build a new orphanage in Brooklyn. What about you? Have you done anything interesting lately?"
"No, not really. I have been working on myself and my image these past few months."
You notice a girl approaching the two of you. You have no idea who she is, or what she does, but she seems deeply interested in the conversation the two of you are having. Once she gets closer, it becomes apparent that your ex and this girl know each other, as he is the one who introduces her to you.
"(Y/n), this is Paisley. She's my fiancé"
You are seething with anger. You resist the urge to slap him across the face, choosing instead to make a fist with your hand. You can feel it pulsating from how tightly you’re squeezing it. You feel betrayed and were caught off-guard by this sudden turn of events, but you keep your cool on the outside.
"Oh. It's nice to meet you, Paisley."
"How do you two know each other?" She asks. Your ex tenses and gives you a desperate look. She doesn't know that you two dated. She doesn't know what he did to you. She doesn't know. You could tell her that he’s a scumbag. That he’s a cheater and a liar. But you don’t.
"We are just... old friends." You lie. He immediately relaxes and smiles.
After a couple minutes of conversation, it becomes clear that this is awkward for your ex and he decides to excuse both him and his new fiancé from the conversation. You are thankful because you weren't sure how much longer you could keep up this façade. As he walks away with his hands around the hips of this other person, you begin to tear up. That's when you are snapped out of your pity party by a familiar-sounding voice.
"No one is allowed to be upset at my parties." Tony Stark states.
"What? I'm not upset." You say, wiping the tears away from your face.
"Are you sure? You looked like you were crying."
"I have allergies."
"I'm not convinced"
"Why are you so concerned? You don't even know me that well..."
"(Y/n), I know you well enough to know what this is about." He holds out his hand as if to ask for a dance. "Come on. Enjoy yourself"
This act of compassion is touching and persuasive enough that you take his hand with a smile. You walk together from the corner of the room to the center of the room. When you get there, a slow dance begins to play. You sway back and forth together, and for a moment you are happy, you even have a smile on your face. The jokes he tells while you dance together are not very funny, but you laugh at them anyway. Dancing with him feels like it was meant to be, that you could be happy again with someone else.
When the song ends, you lay your head against his chest and close your eyes. You pretend for a moment that he is your ex, that there was no new fiance and you two were still in a new relationship. It's comforting.
You open your eyes and try to erase the image of your ex from your mind. It should be easy. In front of you is Tony Stark, the superhero, billionaire, philanthropist. He is kind and caring, and everything you could want in a man. Still, you are reminded of your ex. Not just this one, but all of your exes. They never stayed, they always moved on to someone else. If Tony were to ask you to be his girlfriend, would the same thing happen?
"Do you feel better?" He asks.
"I do. Thank you for helping me take my mind off of things. I really appreciate it."
The crowd has dwindled down quite a bit. Your ex and his new fiance have left, and the only people left are the Avengers and a few drunk stragglers. You have no idea what time it is, but it must be late if so many people have already left.
"I should get going." You say.
"It is getting late, isn't it? I'll walk you to the elevator."
Once you reach the elevator, you press the down button. You wait together in silence until you hear the ding indicating the elevator has reached your level, and the door opens. You give Tony a polite hug and a kiss on the cheek. You've pressed the button to go down to the first floor when he says one last thing to you.
"(Y/n), would you like to go to dinner with me?" His question doesn't come as a surprise, but you are still a bit shocked that he asked. Instantly, your mind thinks of all the logistics. Where? When? Will it be a fancy restaurant? Will the paparazzi be there? You don't just ask a girl out to dinner while she's standing alone in an elevator.
"I would love to."

An Annoying Criminal
Tumblr media
“She’s supposed to help us?” Tony asked, gesturing to you.
“Yes,” Fury said. “She’s great at what she does.”
Tony turned to look at you, “You don’t look like a professional criminal.”
“That’s what makes me so good at it,” you said.
“She’s a kid,” Tony said to Fury.
“I’m fifteen,” you piped up from behind him.
“She’s not even old enough to drive without adult supervision.”
“We’re in New York. Why would I need to drive? There are Uber’s and taxis and buses and subways, I don’t need to drive.”
“Can she get us where we need to go?” Tony asked.
“Yep,” Fury said.
“Fine. We’ll keep her.”
“Ooh, what’s this?” you asked, as you pressed a button.
There was a loud boom and Tony pinched the bridge of his nose. “Is it too late to give her back.”
“Good bye, Tony. Good luck,” Fury said, smirking.

Follow me if you want to live...
Another in the “I found this randomly on my hard drive” series.
Tony Stark/Reader for: ‘Follow me if you want to live. I’m just kidding, but do come with me.’
Stark always threw crazy parties, and this years’ New Year’s Eve was no exception.
People I used to only read about in magazines wandered about, drinks in hand, talking to one another. Every now and again, I’d hear a shout, look over, and see someone greeting a long-lost friend. Or at least, that was how it seemed. For all I knew, they’d seen each other last week for brunch.
I stood above it all, literally, at the top of a flight of steps, leaning against the metal railing and watching the party go by. This was so far from my scene, from my instruments and my computer. And yet, when Tony Stark invited you to a party, you went.
Or at least, that’s what I’d thought this morning. Now I was wishing I could speed up time so I could go home. There was no one else here I knew. My other colleagues from the lab had either not received an invitation or had simply not come. Doctor Banner was around here somewhere, but I wasn’t going to bug an Avenger when he was having fun.
Besides, I thought with a smile, finding the familiar head of curly hair talking with Thor and Dr. Foster, If anyone deserves to have some fun in this lifetime, it’s Dr. B.
“Everything ok up here?” A voice said behind me, and I turned, staring up at Captain America.
“Oh,” I said, intelligently. I’d met the Captain before - perks of working in Doctor Banner’s lab - but we’d barely spoken much. “Hi, Captain Rogers.”
“It’s Steve,” Captain America said, coming to stand next to me and survey the crowd himself.
“Oh,” I repeated. “Hi, Steve.”
He chuckled. “Hi, Dr. Potts.”
“That’s hardly fair,” I protested. “If I’m calling you by your first name, you have to call me by mine.”
Another chuckle. “Y/N.”
I nodded, satisfied. I did like Captain America. Even though Tony always complained about him, he seemed like a good guy. Tony just liked to complain.
“So, what are you doing up here?” I asked as we continued to lean against the railing.
“Not really my scene,” Steve said, and I raised an eyebrow at him. “No, really,” he said, raising a hand. “Kid from Brooklyn, remember? I was never brought up to brush elbows with movie stars and tycoons.”
“Dr. B, Thor and Doctor Foster are here,” I put in.
“And they’re talking science so advanced I only understand one word in seven.” Steve made a face. “I’m working on my doctorate. But it’s taking time.”
“You’re what?” I asked, turning to actually face him. “What’s the concentration?”
“This one’s in astrophysics with an emphasis on how general relativity meshes with the new findings out of the Einstein-Rosen bridge,” Steve said.
“This one?” I asked, having noted the beginning of the sentence.
“Lots of time when you can only sleep four hours a night.” Steve shrugged, as if getting multiple PhDs was just something he did to pass the time. Who knew? Maybe it was. A sudden shout and laughter had us both looking over the railing to where one sequin-clad woman was putting her arms around a guy in a suit. I didn’t recognise either of them.
“Oh,” Steve said, pulling my attention back to him. “Before I forget, I bring a message from Tony.”
“Tony?” I looked out at the crowd briefly, seeing if I could spot him. “I haven’t seen him tonight.”
Steve made a face. “Yeah, he’s…” Steve shook his head. “Never mind. Not my story. Anyway. I’m supposed to tell you…” he trailed off, made another face, then stepped away from me, extending a hand, face suddenly somber. “Follow me if you want to live.”
I started to giggle. There really was no other response to Captain America, standing there, stone-faced, obviously only doing this for Tony’s amusement.
“Ok.”
“I’m just kidding,” Steve said, breaking his act straight away, “But, please, come with me.”
“Ok,” I repeated. “Where are we going?” Steve turned on a heel and strode toward the elevator.
“You’ll see.”
***
We stood in the elevator silently, Steve not even having to tell FRIDAY where to go.
Although he wouldn’t, if he’s taking me somewhere for Tony. I continued thinking as the elevator dropped, then slowed. We were still near the top of the building, which meant either the Avengers’ personal quarters, or - the lift doors opened.
Tony’s lab.
Metallica played in the background as Steve and I stepped out and the doors whooshed closed behind us.
“You know, I didn’t think she’d start laughing at you.” Tony’s voice came from the far side of a workbench, although I couldn’t see the man himself.
“Why would you be surprised if a pretty girl laughs at me - it’s hardly something new,” Steve said.
“Steve,” I said, remembering exactly how tall he’d been as he’d grown up. And glossing over the pretty girl comment. “Also, shame on you, Stark.”
“Shame on me?” Tony’s head popped up from behind the workbench, followed by the rest of him. He was in shirtsleeves and tuxedo pants, no tie, no jacket. It looked like he’d got side-tracked getting dressed. I wonder what had distracted him. “It worked, didn’t it? You’re here.”
“You could have just asked me,” I said.
“But the look on your face,” Tony said, snickering. “And on Cap’s.”
“I’m out, unless you need me,” Steve said.
“Enjoy the evening,” Tony said. “Say hi to Hill for me.”
“You know, everyone would come in here, if you wanted,” Steve said, already on his way out. As if he knew what the answer would be. “One by one, in small groups, whatever.”
Tony’s face twisted into something far less cheerful. “And stop them from having fun to say hi to little old me? No thanks, Cap. I’ll see them around.”
“Fine, Tony.” Steve turned in the elevator and waved at me as the doors closed. I had my hand up and waved back automatically.
“So.” I said, turning back to the billionaire playboy philanthropist, my ex-college drinking buddy and current boss. “What’s up?”
Tony had come around the bench, followed by one of his bots. “I’m glad you came,” he said, not answering my question. His hands were at his elbows, unrolling his shirt and buttoning the cuffs at his wrists once more. “I thought you’d have somewhere else to be.”
“I’m a workaholic, Tony,” I said. “I spend all my time here at the lab. Or thinking about work. All my friends are here. Pepper’s off in Tokyo this year. So unless I was going to spend New Year’s on my own with Cedric, which is a bit melodramatic, even for me, I came.” I gestured down at myself, at the sparkly blue dress I’d worn. “I even dressed up.”
“So you did.” Tony was closer now, and I could see his gaze flick up and down the length of my body quickly before settling on my face once more. I was almost disappointed at the shortness of his scrutiny before I squashed the feeling. And besides - I was getting disappointed at Tony not checking me out? What kind of nonsense was that? He was my boss. And my friend. “Pepper get that for you?”
I glanced down at the dress again, at the boat neck and the bare arms, the hem that hit just above my knees, then nodded. “Birthday present last year. She’s a good sister.”
I’d been the person who’d introduced Pepper and Tony. And the person who had held both of their hands after the mostly amicable breakup.
“She is.” I glanced back at Tony, wondering what that tone had been. Something had been different about those two words.
“You know, I did make an appearance at my party,” Tony said, hitching a hip up so he could sit on the workbench behind him. “At the very beginning of the night - you weren’t here yet.”
“I’m sorry I missed it,” I said, and was surprised to find I meant it. Tony working a crowd was a thing of art, something I could never hope to duplicate, but instead watched in awe.
“Fifteen minutes later, and I can’t breathe and I’m headed down to my shop to fight off a panic attack.” I wanted to say something, to put a hand on Tony’s shoulder. But I knew better. That didn’t help. Tony didn’t want my pity, my concern. I just needed to let him talk it out. “Which sucks, because I wanted to introduce you to some people.” I frowned. “Your research into Barnes’ arm and the capacitors we’re using has other applications - SI doesn’t need all the patents.”
“SI gets all the patents,” I protested. “I work for SI.” This time I put a brief hand on Tony’s arm, making him look at me. “I work for you, Tony. Believe me, if I wanted to collaborate withs someone, I’d just do it.”
He was looking at me. Looking at me, and I was very much afraid I recognised the expression on his face. I barged on. “And why aren’t you letting the team come in and say Happy New Year - you know they want to - they don’t see it as a burden.”
“So why did I have to ask Cap to come and get you?” Tony snarked.
“Because I assumed you were doing something important? Because I thought you were off talking to someone? Because I don’t have a ‘Tony wants to talk to me’ detector? No one has that, Tony. Not if you’re in your lab alone. Sometimes you have to ask for what you want.”
“You think?” Tony was standing again, taking a few steps closer, almost invading my space.
“I do,” I said, heart beginning to speed. This was… was not what it looked like. Couldn’t be what it looked like.
“In that case,” Tony said, taking another step forward, and this time, I matched it with one back. He tilted his head. “You know, you do look beautiful in that dress. I should give Pepper a raise.”
Pepper. My sister.
She was the reason all of this couldn’t work. The reason I’d never contemplated more than friendship with Tony, once I’d introduced them. I’d done an Angelica Schuyler and retreated so my sister could be happy, buried my romantic feelings under my platonic ones so well that I forgot they were there for months on end. And now Tony was staring at me the same way he’d looked at Pepper.
“She knows, you know,” Tony continued, speaking softly, moving carefully, as if he was around some startled deer.
And I felt like a startled deer, not sure whether to bolt or to freeze. Or, most terrifying of all, to close the gap, to press my lips to Tony’s and find out exactly what it would be like to have his arms wrap around me in passion.
“What?” The question came out almost strangled. Tony chuckled.
“About the fact that I fell for one Potts, then the other,” he said. I froze for one second, then two. Had he really just said what I thought he’d said? “She gave me the shovel talk already, don’t worry.”
“She what?”
Tony smiled and, carefully, picked up one of my hands. “If you hurt my sister,” he said, obviously quoting, “I’ll use all of SI’s resources to put you somewhere you’ll truly regret.”
That… sounded like Pepper.
“You know she’d call in SHIELD too,” I joked by reflex, and Tony’s hand tightened around mine.
“She probably would,” he agreed, and lifted my hand to his lips, kissing my knuckles gently.
“So…” he said. “I know this is a lot, all at once.”
“No kidding.” I didn’t know quite what to say, what to do with myself.
“You should know that I don’t expect anything,” he continued. “If you don’t feel the same way, don’t think you could, if you want to remain friends, or if you want to resign from SI, all good.”
“What? I don’t,” I stepped closer to Tony, my turn to clutch his fingers in mine. “I don’t want to resign,” I said, whispering as I realised how close I truly was, almost crushing our hands between us.
“You don’t?” Tony’s eyes were on mine now, questioning, and I decided enough was enough.
I was done pretending I didn’t have feelings for the amazing, flawed, perfect man in front of me. I was done worrying about what my sister had to say - although, it seemed like she already knew. I was in over my head. The only way out was through.
“I don’t want to be just friends either,” I whispered, daring to put my free hand on Tony’s shoulder, feeling the warmth of him seeping through his button-down.
“That’s…” Tony said, his own hand slipping onto my side and around my waist as he continued to stare at me. “That’s good.”
I bumped my nose with his, scarcely having to lean forwards to do it. “I think so,” I said, grinning.
And then his lips were on mine, kissing me even through my smile, and I was kissing back, hands around his neck, snaking together to pull him even closer, his arms around my middle, pulling me to him so we lined up from hip to shoulder.
“I think,” Tony said between kisses, voice ragged, “I think we should,” kiss, “stay down here in the lab,” I kissed just under his jaw, and he inhaled, dipped his head, kissed me again, “ring in the New Year.”
“Sounds good,” I replied, then gasped as Tony’s mouth moved down my neck towards my collarbone. “Tony!” He’d nipped at my shoulder and I just about levitated. I pulled his head up towards mine again and kissed him, feeling the heat coursing through my body, his stubble under my fingers as I cradled his jaw, his forearm around my waist, still pulling me towards him.
“Too rough?” he whispered into my ear, causing a shiver to travel all the way down my spine. I grinned, although he couldn’t see it, and nipped his earlobe, just once. I could feel his chuckle and suddenly his hands were on my waist and I was being lifted onto the workbench. Tony stood back a moment, looking me up and down.
“I’m a lucky bastard,” he said, and I felt the blush rising to my cheeks, making them overheat.
But the way he was stood there, shirt rumpled, hair a complete mess, lips flushed, eyes wild - I’d never even dreamed of having all that directed at me.
“Me too,” I said, and he had his hands on me again, lips catching mine as his fingers raked down the fabric of my dress.
“Lucky bastards together,” Tony said, and it was my turn to chuckle, the sound turning into another gasp as he caught my lower lip between his teeth and my higher functioning short-circuited.

Imagine you give Tony the silent treatment after he makes fun of Steve.
You and Tony had been dating for 5 years, and right now you were helping him with a new project he was working on. Steve walks into the lab to find you and Tony working over a screen.
“Hey, (Y\N) what does TBH IDK mean?” asked Steve.
“Oh hey it means, ‘ To be honest I don’t know,” you say.
Steve smiles down at his phone, answering back to the person he was texting with.
“Seriously how long will it take you to learn our slang old man,” says Tony.
“Tony,” you scold.
But Tony doesn’t listen even calling the Captain and old man. You and Steve ignored the man and walked out of the lab.
\\\\
That afternoon Tony goes to give you a kiss but you dodge it, walking away.
“What’s wrong?” he asks.
You ignore him and just keep walking. Tony turns to see Steve sitting on one of the stools near the counter.
“What’s wrong with her?” he asks the Captain.
“ Well she is angry at you, she’s giving you the sole t treatment I suppose, but then again what do I know I'm just an old man,” says Steve leaving.
Tony asked Friday where you were to which she responded that you were in their shared room. Tony walked in to find you laying in bed.
“ I’m sorry, I made fun of capsicle,” says Tony.
You only glare at him.
“Shit, I’m sorry for making fun of Rogers,” corrects Tony.
You still said nothing only turned your back to him knowing he was only saying that so he could be of the hook. Tony defeated left the room and went back to his lab. The silence lasted for 2 more days after that, and Tony had enough he was about to flip out.
“Look (Y/N) I’m sorry I’m a jerk to cap, it’s just the way I am,” says Tony.
You say nothing only look over at Natasha.
“Stark why don’t you apologize to Steve,” suggested Natasha.
Tony looked over to you but you kept ignoring him. Tony left you and Nat alone, going after the super soldier. He found him in the gym with Bucky.
“ Hey cap, I’m sorry for making fun of you the other day,” apologizes Tony.
“ It finally got to you, dang you lasted more than we thought,” chuckles Steve.
“Wait what?” asked Tony.
“ Your girl and the pink made a deal to teach you a lesson,” says Bucky.
“ So you and (Y/N) did this on purpose?” asked Tony.
“ No, to teach you a lesson,” you way from behind him.
Tony turns to you and walks over giving you a hug.
“ It’s so nice to hear your voice again,” says Tony.
“ Well you hadn’t been an asshole I wouldn’t have had to give you the silent treatment,” you reason.
“ I’m sorry,” mumbles Tony.
You just hug him and you both leave back to the lab to continue working on your project.

Castle Kisses &  A Princess Proposal
Tumblr media
Words: 879 Pairing: Tony Stark x Reader  Request: “So like I have more... Are you sick of me yet ?? lol if so say when haha. Im going to DIsney in June and I can't help but think of kissing Tony Stark in front of Cinderella's castle.. the rest I leave to you as always. :)” tonystarksgirl Summary: Reader is Tony Stark’s long term girlfriend and the couple are on vacation to Disney World. Tony’s been a real good sport about doing all the cute Disney Couple things together like wearing matching character inspired outfits and taking hundreds of pictures whenever Reader wants. When they stop for a snack break, Tony has once more surprise for Reader.
Tumblr media
“We should take a picture in front of the castle with our ice creams!” You squealed as your boyfriend Tony Stark handed you a Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream bar.
“You’re insufferable, you know that?” He rolled his eyes before taking a gigantic bite out of one of his Mickey’s ears. It was the fourth day of your Disney World vacation, and overall Tony had been a good sport about adhering to your every whim thus far. Including, but not being limited to, Disney Bounding as your favorite Disney couples each day, taking pictures with nearly every character that you could find, and suffering through It’s a Small World for you.
“You were just saying how much fun you’ve been having!” You sighed. “C’mon, I won’t let them take a hundred pictures like they usually do.”
“I don’t know, Sweetheart.” He smirked. “You might want a few hundred pictures of this one.” You were pulling him by the hand away from the ice cream cart and didn’t notice him toss the empty stick from his ice cream away and carefully pat the pocket of his jeans.  You waved at an unsuspecting Disney Photopass cast member until they shyly walked over to you.
“Mr. Stark, Miss. [Y/L/N], is there something I could help you with?” The photographer was a younger woman probably not much older eighteen. She smiled sweetly at you both and waited for you to reply.
“Yes!” Tony glanced down at her oval shaped nametag. “Lauren, is it?” She nodded. I need to ask you a favor. But it’s a secret. [Y/n] stay there!” He and Lauren walked a few feet away and bent their heads together discussing something.
You licked at the ice cream in your hand, hoping it didn’t melt before you got to take your picture. The thin layer of chocolate coating on the outside was already beginning to sweat in the muggy Florida air. Sighing, you started eating the ice cream. So much for that picture. You thought. You were holding an empty stick by the time Tony came back to you.
“What are you doing?” He tilted his head to the side. “I thought you wanted a picture.”
“I did, with our mickey ice creams, that we have both eaten. Let’s just forget it.” You sighed. “C’mon we have fast passes for [Your Favorite Disney Ride] in twenty minutes.”
“That’s plenty of time!” He smirked. “Let’s just take one picture first. You look so beautiful dressed as Rapunzel. You’ll be sad if you don’t get at least one castle picture.” Tony stuck his lower lip out in a childish pout. You couldn’t help but giggle. The expression made him look more like Flynn Rider than he already did. Tony grabbed your hand and brought you to where Lauren the photographer was waiting patiently in the castle’s center hub.
You and Tony took your pictures in front of the castle, using the same poses you had spent hours planning at home. One with your backs together and your arms folded over your chest, one where he was holding you in his arms, and one where you made goofy faces at each other. Just when you thought you were done, Tony bent down to tie his shoe. At least that’s what you’d thought he was doing, but then he didn’t get up off the ground.
“Tony?” You crouched down, putting yours hands on your knees. “Are you okay?”
“Hmm?” He looked up at you. “What? Yeah I’m fine. Stand up or we won’t get a good picture.”
“What?” You were confused but you straightened your back again anyway.
“You know I love you, [Y/N]. At least, I hope you know. I really don’t say it as much as I should, but I really do love you. I love you more than science, flying and definitely more than money.” He smirked. “I’ve fallen through a wormhole, went to war with my best friend, survived with shrapnel in my heart and none of those things are more terrifying than the thought of losing you.”
There was a chorus of “aww”s from the theme park’s small crowd of bystanders, you hadn’t noticed watching you. Some of them were snapping pictures and others were videotaping. They obviously knew something that you didn’t. Tony brought an index finger to his lips and looked out into the crowd and asked them to be quiet. They hushed down as best as a massive mob can. Then from somewhere Tony pulled out a small velvet box, it’s tiny hinges squeaked open. There, glistening in the Florida sun was a large diamond ring.
“Well,” He smirked. “Will ya?” You didn’t know what to say. You looked out into the crowd and realized you were living out every girl’s fantasy. There you stood in the center of Disney World, right in front of Cinderella Castle with a billionaire on his knees, asking to marry you.
“Well,” You smirked out to the crowd. “What do you think?” All around you people were shouting “yeses” and “nos.” “Okay, okay.” You waved for them to settle down. You looked back down at Tony, who might have been on the verge of an actual heart attack.
“Of course, I’ll marry you.” You answered before kneeling down and kissing him.

Valedictorian
Dad!Tony
Peter ParkerxReader
Word Count: 923
Request by @katiemcrae: Hi me again! I was wondering if you could do a dad!tony x reader(with peter parker x stark!reader in the background) where peter and the reader are graduating from high school and it’s like Rory Gilmore’s speech from Gilmore Girls where the reader is valedictorian and her speech is basically about how she’s proud to be like her dad and all? And it’s like oozing fluff. Girl i just keep having ideas pop up in my head about dad!tony x reader haha thank you for your time :)
A/N: Spouts my usual words of apologies. You sent this in like late May, it’s almost September… so I am sorry. As goes life, but here it is! (Yes this was my college grad cap)
Tumblr media
You were nervous.
No. Strike that. You were about to have a total Stark meltdown. The worst part? The ceremony hadn’t even started yet!
“Y/N!” Your boyfriend practically shouted, trying to get your attention.
You shook your head with a start and looked over at him.
He let out a small chuckle. “I called your name like 12 times.”
“Sorry,” you said, sheepishly. “I-I’m just really nervous…”
“You’re gonna do great,” he assured, slipping his hand into yours. “I’ll be right up there with you. You’re gonna do amazing.”
You let out a long whine, “Peter I don’t want to-”
He tugged you a bit closer and pressed his forehead to yours. “Baby, you worked so hard to get to the top. You deserve this. Show off a little.”
“You know everyone already thinks I do,” you said it so quietly, it was true. You were weird, you were a genius and everybody knew that. Everybody thought you didn’t belong there because you really could have already been out of high school. Yet, you just had to stay back like you were trying to look smarter than everyone else there.
“Hey stop that,” Peter said, knowing exactly where your train of thought was going.
The bubble the two of you created was popped as voices, teachers, started to tell students to get moving.
You and Peter were the first two in line, being Valedictorian and Salutatorian after all. You didn’t even want to chance a look behind you.
Peter kissed your forehead and the procession started.
You were shaking in your seat as it neared time for your speech. You wished your boyfriends speech was longer, but of course, he wasn’t really one for public speaking either. Not even the Spider-Man mask ever helped him with that.
“And now,” Peter stated, casting a glance over his shoulder. “I’d like to introduce someone very special to me. My amazing girlfriend and this year’s brilliant Valedictorian, Miss Y/N Stark!”
Your stomach flipped and you didn’t move as Peter turned around and headed back towards you. You shook your head at him.
Peter chuckled. “Come on, baby you gotta. Your dad is crazy excited to hear your speech.”
“C-can’t… I can’t…”
Peter tugged you up from your seat and guided you to the podium. “Don’t make me embarrass us to get you started.” He kissed your cheek and went back to sit down.
You glanced out at the crowd; classmates, teachers, and family members all watched as their applause came to a close. You shot a look back at Peter and he smiled reassuringly at you. You looked down at the cards that were crumpled in your hand. “H-Hi everyone,” You greeted.
You took a deep breath. “Thank you all for being with us today. Your ongoing support gave all of us the drive to get here. Thank you faculty and staff for putting up with the classes antics. For keeping all of us on the right track. Thank you to the heroes that protect us all. Without you guys who is to say any of us would even be here.”
There was a short chuckle from the crowd, yeah, without your dad half the universe wouldn’t exist.
“This isn’t the same exact group of students I started my high school career with, but you all are who I get to end it with. Thank you for making classes enjoyable. We all have so much ahead of us. Whether it’s college or straight to jobs. Maybe it’s even being the next big superhero.” You chuckled, knowing Peter tensed behind you. “I’m kidding, but who knows, our lives are ahead of us. I for one know that without coming here my experiences wouldn’t have been the same and I’m thankful for all of them. Lastly, I want to give special thanks to my dad.”
You finally looked out, spotting him right away, the rest of the team members, your step-mom Pepper, little sister, Happy and May all there with him. “Dad, thank you for risking everything to bring everyone back. Thank you for giving me the best education. Thank you for everything you do to better the world for us. Thank you for making sure my classmates are able to find their own ways and not need any financial support with the generous gift you gave of funding all of them. Especially for letting me be like you. Thank you for long nights in the lab and teaching me. Thank you for being my inspiration in everything I work for and just thank you for always going along with crazy ideas I had. You are everything I aspire to be and if I could be half as amazing as you are, I think I’ll be alright. To my classmates, thank you for showing me that I don’t care about negative opinions, because when you have the greatest support system the negative opinions of others are easy to brush off. You all might think I’m weird for being like my dad, but I wouldn’t change myself if I ever got the chance, because who wouldn’t want to be like their heroes?”
You returned to your seat, Peter leaned over and kissed your cheek.
“That was incredible,” He whispered to you over the thunderous applause of the crowd.
When the ceremony was over you found your large family and with them your dad crying. You hugged him and his arms wound tightly around you.
“Thank you,” He whispered.
“I love you, dad.”
“I love you, too, sunshine.”

Little Me and Little You
Tumblr media
Fandom: Marvel/Avengers
Pairing: Tony Stark x Plus Size Reader (Gender Neutral)
Warning:  Mentions childhood bullying, Insecurities
Writer: @imaginesofeveryfandom aka @hufflepuffing-all-day-long
Request/Summary:Requested by @lilacprincessofrecovery:  I was wondering if you could do a plus size reader of tony. where he asks for pics of when she was younger but shes more embarassed cuz she was a big girl then too? 99 “Can I please see some photos of you when you were younger? How bad could they be?!” please and thank you! Its ok if you are too busy i was just coming up with a prompt for your queue thingy!
Note: Giving me a plot makes this a one-shot not a prompt, prompts are just a sentence, word or phrase which is supposed to prompt me, so you get a surprise. So this is a one-shot just for future reference :)
“Can I please see some photos of you when you were young? How bad could they be? You’ve seen mine and I was a drooling, dribbling, snotty mess.” You’re sat across from Tony, he’s trapped one of your hands in his pulling it into his lap as you talk. It’s only like this when Tony’s soft...more relaxed. So often he is tightly wound, anxious, struggling. But not when it’s just the two of you talking about nonsense like childhood photos.
“I just...people used to make fun of me, y’know? Because I was fat...and I still am, but I don’t know...I used to hate me when I was kid...” You wanted to be different, wanted to be like the other kids, smaller, thinner. Didn’t want to have to wear clothes from the adult or teen section when you weren’t old enough yet. It was hard. Bullies were tough, but you were toughest on yourself.
“Hey, i’m not those people. I love you, okay? Like I love you right now, small, large, tall or short. I love you. I have no doubt little you was adorable. Little me probably would have had a crush on little you...which probably would have ended in some terrible invention which nearly killed you, but...” He trails off looking off into the distance as if he’s truly thinking of just what invention his younger self would have created to impress you. It’s a cute thought and it has you laughing a little bit, smiling.
“Little me would have like little you too...” You walk over to the book case and grab the photo album, that one that you’d never let Tony look in because you’d been embarrassed, and a little scared. It was one thing to be confident as you were now, in the moment, it was another thing to be confident about who you were, what you were, how you were.
You sit back down next to him on the sofa and open the album to the first page, you’re about twelve in the photos that great you. Chubby, overweight, round face. You’re climbing on a log at a forest you used to visit with your family for days out. You look happy.
“You were adorable, I was right!” You think that he’s right. It’s strange, but you were cute, a cute kid, happy. Happy is good. You think that maybe you should stop letting the actions of others cloud your view of yourself, of the past, of who you were. Maybe you should be kinder to yourself.

Mom Says
Tumblr media
You were working in the lab with your father, Tony when your little sister walked in.
"Mom says if you blow up the house she's going to put you up for adoption, Y/N."
"What about dad?" you asked, indignantly.
She shrugged. "I don't think she cares anymore, he's done it so many times."
"Yeah," you said.
"I'm right here," your father said.
"We know."

I love this idea! It’s such a sweet and refreshing thing to read
And Then You
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2,461
Warnings: idk, a little angst
A/N: Listen I know it’s a little rushed and I love him, but Tony is hard, okay? Not my gif.
Tumblr media
Some people had just one word, others had entire paragraphs. And then, very rarely, some people had nothing at all.
Tony Stark was just one of those people who was born with nothing scrawled across his wrist.
