#tornado of thoughts

Some more pictures from my 'tornado of thought' book which has the motto of everything goes in. So it catches all the thoughts that swirl around my brain, special receipts, fruit stickers, tags and labels, drawings, cookie fortunes, anything it wants. Some parts have been redacted for reasons. The only hard rule is not to do anything the type of paper can't support.

This was made from calligraphy parchment paper, the kind sold in tablets to be used with fountain or dip pens, it is sturdy and meant to take a certain level of moisture, then hand sewn. The cover it patchwork squares with handles. The marker is a string craft with a corvid feather. I keep a small paper bag full of assorted things to eventually glue in to it and a combo pen/glue stick with it.

Meloni naming her son "Bartholomew Henry Allen (the second)" was such a power move on her part and must have been a slap in the face for Thaddeus Thawne. You hate the Allens, as your family has for generations, and your daughter not only marries and gets impregnated by one, but names him after like, the main Allen. The OG one you have beef with. Meloni and Don knew what they were doing. A massive "fuck you" to her father, the annihilation of any semblance of a tattered, ruined bridge that may have hung between them.

What are some songs that you guys associate with the chain/specific LU characters? I want to expand mine (cuz it's mostly Four and Time) for when I write fics, but I'm also just genuinely curious.....

if youre scared of storms, your f/o is going to hold you and protect you from the big scary thunder and tornadoes. its ok to be scared, theyre loud noises that startle everyone sometimes. theyll remind you its just falling water and blowing oxygen, youll both be ok.

if you get stuck thinking about the mass destruction and loss of getting hit by tornadoes, your f/o will tell you itll be okay. theyll still be with you even if you lose everything, but chances are the tornado isnt really as monstrous as you think it is or it might not even come your way. but if it does, theyll be right there with you.

well aware that this is common knowledge but it'll always kill me that bruces grief will last forever. Batman is a concept, a character in a comic book and because of the nature of comic books lasting for like ever he's going to repeat the same plots and learn the same lessons over and over and over. Closure quite literally doesn't exist for Bruce Wayne because he'll be in that alley for eternity, he'll keep holding his kids in his arms as they die and failing to save people for eternity. Concepts are eternal, batman is eternal. His grief will last forever.

Anyway if all the realms merged with ninjago and the lego movie canonically has realms that can be walked/driven through a tunnel to get to it links both universe's together meaning the lego movie and the ninjago show can be tangentially canon and related to each other in this essay I will-

just thinking about live action strawhats and how thankful i am for how wonderful they all are.

it's so good to finally have a sanji who's nonthreatening. who isn't gross about women. who's just a ball of sincere emotion, nothing faked or held back, full of love for the world and people.

i love how easy zoro is to fool. i love how he takes things at face value, doesn't expect people to go back on their word. accepts nami's self-deprecating talk about herself as utter truth. and y'know, also doesn't hold any weird gross ideas about gender. i love how he's constantly impressed and surprised by people. how much he has to learn and is willing to do so.

i adore how vulnerable yet steadfast usopp is. how he's ride or die, and fully expects the die part at all times, but still persists for the ride. i love how easily he meshes with everyone and picks up on social cues. i love how he stands his ground between zoro and sanji arguing. I love how he pumps up others. I love how full of life and wonder he is.

Obviouslly I looooooooooove nami and luffy too. Like 1: this nami rekindled my love for the character, reminding me of all i initially was interested in. And 2: luffy. I finally understand. I finally get it. This luffy is friend-shaped.
