So I managed to get my Newman to leave Earth with high humanity who was close with everyone (romantic with Roach who stayed behind) and fixed Livvy's eyes but now I'm curious as to what happened on Earth afterwards? What did Livvy tell their mother, what happens to their casket, what do their friends do, does Roach ever look to the skies and wonder where they are/what they're doing/if they ever think about would would happen if they went with them?

I'm really curious on how the rest of the cast would deal with the aftermath of a Newman who made the jump/left earth? What would Libby do after Newman confessed to her that they're leaving? And their mom seeing Livvy bring back her youngest's empty body etc? I crave the angst

The casket is dead and although I imagine Livvy’s first reaction would be to try to tell everyone about the horrifying creatures inhabiting dimensions humanity knows nothing about, she would be quickly discouraged by everyone else. Fiama would be like, “Let’s never talk about this again, please.” And Jonny’s like, “You want to go out there and talk about aliens and dimensions and shit? Be my guest, I’m out of here.” Roach throws the casket a look that’s hard to read. “I…” they begin but stop when Livvy glares at them. They offer her an awkward half nod and run after Jonny. “Jonny-boy,” they say, “give me a ride.”

In the end, Livvy decides to tell her mother Newman passed away when that “space rock” hit Luna Ridge—some time later, Mom confesses that it almost feels as if her youngest had been marked to die in a freak accident just like their dad. She never quite gets over it.

I think Roach does look up from time to time and wonders about Newman and about what could’ve been (mostly when they are in a melancholic mood). I think they will remember them for a long time.

mom in pokemon world barely does anything, like, at least in sun and moon, your mom watched your first kahuna fight, and have a battle with the neighbor (well, technically us battling for her but it's still her pokemon, so i guess that count as st).

But in the end, they just stick in one area. Like, gosh, can we at least encounter the mother in various places? Or just have a small battle with them ("i want to see if you are ready for the adventure")

Ghirahim has been trying to retreat to recharge alone for the past several hours, only to have Zant keep following him, and now he is planning on setting Zant’s potential future children on him to bother the fuck out of him when Zant wants alone time.

(In all honesty, in my writing, Zant ends up with triplet boys who all have different special interests and different personalities. And Ghirahim did set them on Zant several times as revenge over the rest of Zant’s life since he’s what those boys consider mom based on willing involvement in wrangling them. Ghirahim is petty.)

(The oldest is studious and somewhat like a carbon copy of Zant’s personality except with better emotional regulation and has a fixation with evolution and religious theory specifically with psychology of why people like it. The middle got Zant’s sudden temper and vies for attention a lot and has a special interest in chemistry and collecting weird historical facts. The youngest is just astoundingly chill and happy, he’s got no reason to be angry and no reason to be in an awful hurry and has a special interest in botany and tracing different roots of literature.)

One of my favorite things about the Roach romance is how physical they are, not just sexual but like, a lot of caring touches and hugs. I have a weakness for characters who are commitment phobes on some level but are also clingy as hell.

They’re definitely a social little critter and I love them for it.

I planned out a Twin Peaks themed Inktober to do last year, never found time for it, and am now attempting to do it this year instead! It’s the sixteenth and I’ve only completed two drawings so I’m already behind on the prompts but everything is technically 365 days late anyway so I’m not letting it bother me lol.
