For those who don't know, the US Supreme Court just ruled that states are allowed to enforce trans healthcare for minors. Undoubtedly, this will trigger a wave of other states that either hope to pass or have already passed policies to do the same. This is going to kill children, and harm more in long-lasting ways.

So, how can you help?

FUCKING VOTE. I don't care if you don't like Biden, he's not the only one on the ballot. Vote representatives into your city council who will turn our city into a sanctuary city. Vote for governors and state reps who will, even if they don't pass new protections, oppose bans being pushed through. Chsllenge and kick out conservative incumbents who are banking on their races being obscure enough for people to not vote in.

Anyone telling you voting is useless is either lying to you or grossly uninformed and think saying this is the edgy new take that will make them look hip and informed. Yes, the system is broken. But short of burning the whole thing to the ground (which personally I'm not a fan of as I quite enjoy having like. Roads and the FDA) what we can do is to change it for the better, by starting with the local races and working our way up.

To any American reading this of voting age. Or will be of voting age for the 2024 election… VOTE! Vote vote vote. Register to vote. Ensure your friends are registered to vote. If it wasn’t clear before the SCOTUS decisions in the last two days have spelled it out clearly.

If you are not an able-bodied cis white heterosexual man, you are at risk. They will strip away your rights, they will do everything they can to make sure you are erased. That you are silenced that you are dead.

And if you think that your vote doesn’t matter. That there is no point. Then they have won. You have already let them win. You have let them control you.

They will come after you. If you are not a cis white male you are a target. You are disposable. And you will eventually lose your basic rights as a human being. Because if you are not a cus white man… to them you are not human. Simple as.

Hey, my roommate (he/they) was out of work for a few months due to a wrist injury and only about $100 in disability payments because Medicare kept pushing back and not letting him schedule appointments for getting diagnosed/treatment. He’s back at work now despite having to wear a brace but Starbucks has been severely cutting hours so he’s gotten behind on his car payments/car insurance. The bank that he has his car loan through (Santander) issued him a notice that he needs to pay $800 by July 28, 2023 or he’s going to default on the loan.

Heyo, I know this site is literally only posts like this, I swear this is the only post I'll make. But after years and years of trying I'm finally going to move out of my abusive household, and FINALLY be able to be in a non abusive environment and transition medically in my last year of college.

If you have funds to spare I'd really appreciate it. I'm currently employed at three different places but paychecks just aren't coming in fast enough. I have ran out of patience and general okayness today bc of fucking traffic making me 30minutes late and other shit, but oh my god I have such a pet peeve abt how azul is analyzed sometimes. like people seem to kinda understand the concept of vil (the celebrity) and vil(the guy) but can’t keep that idea up with azul-

like. Idk. People seem to downplay his bullying bc the English translation and context kinda does, but like. He was bullied for genetic parts of his body. Like how he looked, how slow he was, how big he was. Those all are things he couldn’t control-

like he developed an eating disorder bc of kids calling him fat. And he still believes everything they said was true. It’s why he overblots. He’s changed and built a persona he then works to live up to, and finally when he feels like he fills it he’s constantly terrified something is going to reset his progress, and he’ll be right back at square one.

and like, unlike most of the other overblotters. He doesn’t get better afterwards. His new favor system isn’t his way of getting better, it’s his way of coping. He’s putting himself right back on that toothpick pedestal.

but like. Azul (the guy) and Azul (the concept he’s built himself up to) are much more intertwined than Vil’s is, so idk. Like Azul (the guy) is a board game nerd, but Azul (the concept) is the guy who learned how to roll dice perfectly because he hates things being out of his control
