I just want to say I have absolutely 0 sympathy whatsoever for anyone complaining about anything homeless people do. oh you saw human shit on the ground?? hmm maybe it's because THEY DONT HAVE A TOILET. oh you saw someone cleaning themselves in a public restroom? maybe because THEY DONT HAVE A FUCKING SHOWER. oh no a homeless person is living in a tent and you think it's ugly?? CRY ABOUT IT IN YOUR FUCKING HOUSE. oh my goodness homeless people sleeping on the ground and they're in your way!!!! yeah THEY DONT HAVE A BED

if seeing homeless people bothers you that much then good news! you have some choices! 1) let them all live with you in your house! 2) start pressuring your local government to stop criminalizing the homeless and start giving them financial and medical assistance! 3) shut the fuck up and die!

one thing i think a lot of us including me are failing to sufficiently consider in our modern aus is that stede likes to break the law. as a lifestyle and hobby. like its not really a significant dimension of his arc since within the context of piracy crime is just normal but he did leave his wife and kids for a life of crime twice and he did get so excited conspiring with ed to not pay a restaurant bill that for a second his voice nearly ascended to a register that only other dogs could hear. i think stede would steal a horse off a carousel with the pole still through it and everything and then schlep it all the way up to their bedroom to surprise ed for his birthday. and ed would be genuinely touched to the point of happy tears

#EarlyTrespassing

Yesterday morning wasn't the right time, neither the right moment to trespass a Coyote territory.

At first sight we've been clearly spotted by this couple of Coyote. Usually they don't care much about humans as long as we're not trespassing their territories in the middle of their breeding season; unfortunately we're just at the beginning of it. Like most wild animals, Coyotes can be easily offended during this time and by any means necessary, will protect their family as well as their hunting territories on which they count on to feed their youngsters. The female seems relatively calm but still cautious of our presence contrary to the male who was agitated, noisy, and didn't seem to be in a mood to socialize with us. ( mindful-hempress )

Sure the fact that we suprised them didn't help the situation. So slowly we decided to leave this area going, backwards.

When I made that post about the right to roam in Northern Europe/Scandinavia a lot of Americans told me stories about stepping off the road to look at something or walking into some woods and suddenly some guy would pop out and yell at them for being on their land and now I’m very confused about where exactly people are allowed to walk in the US.

Obviously there’s going to be differences from state to state but now I’m looking at American movies and shows in an entirely different way. Are most of those people walking through nature trespassing and it’s just not brought up because Americans know what’s going on and therefore the creators don’t feel like explaining it?

Because I know you’re allowed to be in national parks but also that national parks can close, meaning it’s possible to trespass in places you wouldn’t expect.

For example, if you stop at a small parking lot at a rest stop, is there a big chance you’re trespassing if you step off the parking lot? Are most American protagonists low key breaking the law every time they travel? Please, I need answers!
