**Encontros e Desencontros**

**Introdução**

 Elizabeth Sinclair era uma garota tímida que sempre nutriu um sentimento especial por seu colega de longa data, Bruce Chambers. No entanto, o destino pareceu brincar com ela ao colocá-la como dupla em um trabalho com Tristan Kane, o garoto popular e capitão do time de futebol da escola. Enquanto Elizabeth se esforçava para lidar com essa nova realidade, Tristan não escondia sua falta de interesse e até mesmo certo desprezo por ela.

Em "Encontro e Desencontros", acompanhe a jornada de Elizabeth enquanto ela se vê dividida entre um antigo amor e a descoberta de um novo sentimento. Com reviravoltas inesperadas, intrigas e rivalidades surgindo em seu caminho, Elizabeth precisará enfrentar seus medos e incertezas para compreender o verdadeiro significado do amor.

**Capítulo 1: Um Encontro Inesperado**

 A manhã estava nublada quando Elizabeth corria pelos corredores da escola, atrasada e perdida em seus pensamentos, quando, de repente, esbarrou em alguém, derrubando seus livros no chão. Surpresa e desorientada, ela olhou para cima e encontrou os olhos frios de Tristan Kane, o garoto popular, que estava parado diante dela.

Elizabeth: (com uma expressão preocupada) "Me desculpe, eu não vi você... Eu sinto muito pelos livros."

Tristan: (com um tom de superioridade) "Olhe por onde anda, garota. Você precisa aprender a ter mais cuidado."

Elizabeth sentiu-se intimidada pelas palavras rudes e pela postura arrogante de Tristan. Ela se apressou em recolher os livros do chão, lutando para conter as lágrimas que ameaçavam surgir.

Elizabeth: (com voz trêmula) "Eu já pedi desculpas... Não precisa ser tão frio."

Tristan lançou um olhar indiferente a ela, mantendo sua postura altiva.

Tristan: (num tom cortante) "Desculpe se minha sinceridade te incomoda. Agora, se me der licença, tenho coisas mais importantes a fazer."

Tristan se afastou, deixando Elizabeth sozinha, sentindo-se rejeitada e humilhada. Ela lutou para recompor-se emocionalmente e continuou seu caminho, com a certeza de que Tristan era alguém com quem preferia evitar qualquer contato.

Elizabeth entrou na sala de aula ainda constrangida pelo ocorrido no corredor. Ela arrumou seus materiais com cuidado, evitando qualquer olhar direto para Bruce, que conversava animadamente com seus amigos no canto oposto da sala. Ela suspirou e desviou o olhar, mesmo sendo colegas de longa data, seu coração ansiava para avançar mais um degrau e talvez se declarar para ele, porém o medo da rejeição ou pior, dele deixar ser seu amigo, a calava sobre seus sentimentos.

Enquanto Elizabeth se perdia em seus pensamentos, o professor Clak anunciou um novo trabalho que estariam realizando ao longo do semestre para a feira de ciências. Todos os alunos teria seus nomes sorteados para formar duplas aleatórias. O coração de Elizabeth começou a bater mais rápido, temendo que o destino pudesse pregar-lhe outra peça.

Elizabeth: (sussurrando para si mesma) "Espero não ser a dupla de Bruce novamente. Seria bom conhecer outras pessoas... ou talvez não, se lembrando de um certo alguém"

Enquanto o  professor começou a organizar as duplas, chamando os nomes dos alunos um a um, Elizabeth começou a fazer uma lista mental dos possíveis pares para si.

Elizabeth: (suspirando em pensamentos) “Bem ser for com a Mel será uma vantagem, ela é bem estudiosa, se for a Kate, bem é um pouco tímida e vai muito na opinião dos outros, mais ainda sim seria legal..... se for a Cassy.... não ela faz parte do grupinho da Abelha rainha...

Enquanto divagava, chegou a vez de Elizabeth, seu coração parecia querer saltar do peito. O professor anunciou: "Elizabeth e... Tristan".

Elizabeth levantou os olhos e encontrou o olhar frio de Tristan, que não escondeu sua insatisfação com a parceria. De todos, logo ele, parecia que o destino estava lhe pregando uma peça e das mais sem graça.

Tristan: (franzindo a testa) "Ótimo, logo eu com a garota mais estranha da turma..."

Elizabeth: (tentando disfarçar a decepção) "Olá, Kane. Bem acho que vamos trabalhar juntos durante esse semestre."

Tristan: (com desdém) "Acha mesmo? Olha vamos estabelecer umas coisas aqui garota, infelizmente eu preciso desses pontos extras, mas você fala só o necessário, ok? ."

Enquanto puxava uma cadeira para se sentar perto dele e iniciar o projeto, Elizabeth tentou puxar assunto, ignorando o aviso e o tratamento indelicado.

Elizabeth: "Bem.... Tristan, você gosta de futebol, não é? Ouvi dizer que é o capitão do time da escola."

Tristan: (com um sorriso irônico) "Sim, sou o capitão. Mas isso não significa que eu vá ficar impressionado com você."

Bruce observava a interação entre Elizabeth e Tristan de longe, sentindo uma pontada de pena pelo azar da colega.

Bruce: (pensando consigo mesmo) "Você parece ter acordado com o pé esquerdo hoje, Elizabeth, se atrasar e ser pareada com esse idiota.

Cesar: Terra para Bruce!! Você me ouviu?

Bruce: Desculpe cara, não prestei atenção. O quê foi?

Cesar: (com um sorriso torto) Eu disse, qual será o nosso tema, mas parece que você tem outras preocupações.

Bruce só acenou com a cabeça e puxou o caderno, ele iria conversar com Elizabeth durante o intervalo, provavelmente confortá-la também, afinal é para isso que os amigos servem, não é?

Enquanto a aula prosseguia, Elizabeth tentava superar o desconforto e se concentrar no trabalho em suas mãos ou melhor a falta de um trabalho para começar, eles não tinham nem escolhidos tópicos e o tema deveria ser entrega ao professor no fim da aula.

Elizabeth: (com determinação) "Tristan...é... temos que escolher um tema pelo ao menos e assim depois podemos prosseguir. Tenho certeza de que podemos nos surpreender um com o outro, quero dizer com a capacidade de trabalhar juntos e.... você está me ouvindo?."

Tristan: (olhando para ela de maneira debochada) "Parei de ouvir depois que você falou meu nome, tinha coisas mais importante para fazer.

Elizabeth sentiu um frio na espinha com o olhar de Tristan, mas decidiu não se deixar abalar.

Elizabeth: (com confiança) "Olha você mesmo disse que precisa desses pontos e bem, minhas notas estão maravilhosas, então se eu fosse você começaria a realmente se esforçar aqui . Acho que podemos nos surpreender mutuamente se nos dermos uma chance, mas se não quiser, bem p problema é seu e a nota vermelha também será sua."

Tristan franziu o cenho depois de alguns minutos em silêncio .

Tristan: (num tom hostil ) "Está me ameaçando garota. Disse que faríamos o trabalho  juntos, mas  o que eu disse  sobre falar o necessário? E antes de você grunhir mais bla bla bla aleatório, era um assunto importante então não fique toda nervosinha ai."

Antes que Elizabeth pudesse rebater sua grosseira o sinal tocou  e os alunos simplesmente explodiram pela porta em um alvoroço, enquanto o professor pedia que deixassem o tema de seus projetos na mesa.  

Bruce, observando de longe, sentia-se desconfortável com a situação entre Elizabeth e Tristan. Ele percebeu que eles estavam discutindo e resolveu  se aproximar, tentando parecer casual.

Bruce: (tentando parecer casual) "Ei, Elizabeth, precisamos conversar sobre aquele  outro trabalho que estamos fazendo juntos..."

Elizabeth: (surpresa ao ver Bruce se aproximar) "Ah, Bruce! Claro, podemos falar agora."

Tristan observou a cena com uma expressão indecifrável. Então aproveitou a situação para sair da sala e encontrar seu grupo. Os dois amigos só ficaram olhando sem entender nada.

Bruce: (num tom de incerteza) "Elizabeth como você está? Sinto que não temos tido tempo suficiente para conversar como antes."

Elizabeth: (com emoção contida) "Bruce, eu... estou bem... eu acho. Bem tenho que concordar com você, agora que estou num trabalho de meio período na lanchonete da mamãe, sinto que aquelas tardes juntos são memórias tão distante ."

Bruce lançou um olhar sonhador, enquanto Elizabeth se sentia cada vez mais para baixo pensando em tudo que já aconteceu em apenas algumas horas e o que o dia parecia que seria bem longo e com mais surpresas para ela.

Elizabeth: (com um suspiro) "Desculpe, Bruce. Acho que precisamos focar no tema  sozinha agora."

Bruce lançou um olhar para a amiga, mas concordou, seguindo em direção a porta onde Cesar o esperava, meio impaciente .

A medida que a sala se esvaziava, Elizabeth se aproximou da mesa do professor Clak, de forma bem tímida, temendo receber um sermão pelo que ela ia dizer em seguida.

Elizabeth: (com um suspiro) "Professor Clak, senhor.... bem eu gostaria de pedir ao senhor mais tempo para escolher o tema do trabalho e sobre meu par... senhor."

Prof Clak: (com um olhar desconcertado) "Por que senhorita Elizabeth? Vocês já não tinham escolhido o tema? Bem o jovem Kane, antes de sair, me entregou o assunto de seu projeto."

Elizabeth: (olhando perplexa) " Sério? Desculpe senhor é que bem, o senhor vê, não vai dar certo, ok. Entendo que o objetivo é socializar mais com nossos colegas, mas não dá, ele e eu não vamos nos dar bem"

Prof Clak: (com expressão séria) "Mas porquê não daria certo? Ambos são alunos inteligentes e dedicados e bem já tem o assunto para desenvolverem e digo, um assunto muito interessante por sinal, falar sobre a radiação é bem legal, não acha?

Elizabeth apenas ficou olhando perplexa para o professor, como aquele garoto arrogante e mau-educado, além de ignorar ela ainda simplesmente escolhe  o tema do projeto deles, sem consultá-la, poderia ter pelo ao menos dito e ter evitado essa situação.

Antes do professor sair, ele se dirige para Elizabeth uma ultima vez e diz.

Prof Clak: (com expressão suave) "Dê uma chance, tenho certeza que você pode se surpreender com o que poderá descobrir. Mas caso, vocês acabem em mais desacordo do que progresso, pode  me dizer que resolverei da melhor forma possível para os dois. Agora vá aproveitar o intervalo, minha jovem.

Enquanto ele se afastava, Elizabeth sentia o peso de tudo que tinha acontecido até aquele momento e por Deus, era quase metade do dia ainda. Ela se encontrava em um momento delicado de sua vida fora de escola, tendo que lidar com emoções conflitantes e uma crise na família. Ela só desejava que o dia acabasse....

No próximo capítulo de " Encontros e Desencontros “, Elizabeth enfrentará uma série de desafios, incluindo intrigas e rivalidades que ameaçam a sua sanidade. Ela terá que superar seus medos e incertezas, enquanto lida com seu sentimentos por Bruce e sendo o novo foco das armações de Tristan e companhia. Bem parece que ele resolveu notar a presença dela mas não do jeito bom.

While visitors to the practice were principally there to see the real James Herriot, and were often overcome with excitement to meet him - which always bemused Dad - they were also delighted if Donald Sinclair (better known to them as Siegfried) made an appearance. This of course tickled us as, since we had grown up in and around the practice, Donald and his younger brother Brian (on whom Tristan was based) were like family.

They were a constant presence in our lives, Donald was Jim's godfather and we always referred to him and his wife as "Uncle Donald and Auntie Audrey."

Will there be a time jump in acgas series 6?

I know some fans are concerned about the possibility of a time jump in season 6. After all, there is the risk of too much off-screen development for a start. However, I personally think a time jump would be a good thing if it happens. There's still years left of the second world war, so it would take at least two more seasons to cover the whole period. A time jump would allow the writers to explore the aftermath of the war. Also, there's lots of reasons why they would choose to do a time jump at this stage in the series:

. In series five, both James and Tristan settled back into Skeldale. This opens up a possibility for them to bond over their experiences. While it's unclear if Tristan will be called up again, it's possible that he'll stay around like James has. If this is the case, a time skip would be effective in showing how both men reflect on their service in the war, and the long term impact of their service.

. On a similar topic, we know a lot about James' war experience but not much about Tristan's. If we had some flashbacks of Egypt, it would parallel with Siegfried's flashbacks of Ypres in season 3. Memories of war have been a huge part of Siegfried's characterisation, so it would make sense for this to bleed into Tristan's as well.

. A time skip would also mean that Jimmy would be a bit older. This could give James and Helen a reason to have another baby. I'm not sure what the age gap between Alf Wight's real children is, but it would be interesting to welcome a new character to mark the end of the war.

. After the S5 Christmas special, I don't know what will happen to Edward. If he is caught in the Japanese invasion of Singapore, this would result in another agonising storyline for Audrey. Given the history of Singapore, I don't want to see this happen to her. A time jump could enable the writers to see Edward's storyline through to a point where he can return home. I don't want the writers to explain it away, but a reunion between him and Audrey would be so rewarding.

. Carmody may be tied up in London for the remainder of the war, due to his duty as a researcher (although I don't know how they'll handle the blitz 😐). It would be nice to see Carmody return to Skeldale after the war, either just for a visit or to stay for a while.

. A time skip would give Jenny a chance to grow off-screen and contemplate her future. In the last season, she wanted to leave to work in Leeds (?), so it will be interesting if she decides to stay there.

. If Siegfried × Audrey happens, a time jump might actually be another reason for them to get together. (I know Donald Sinclair married Audrey Adamson in 1943 but acgas does it's own thing). Until the end of the war, Siegfried will be anxious in case Tristan is called up again. Similarly, Audrey will continue to fear for Edward until he returns home safely. When the horrors of the war are behind them, Siegfried and Audrey will have more time to think about their feelings for each other.

The time skip in season 6 is still unconfirmed (as far as I know) so this is just speculation. The final reason why a time jump would be neat is because the original series did it, but I guess we'll see.

There is no argument they shouldn't be. BUT MIKE AND WILL AREN'T PLATONIC.

But in a series as big as Stranger Things, not often is there a MAIN queer couple. Robin is a main character and a lesbian, and she now has her thing with Vickie, but Mike and Will are among the original four. Dustin and Lucas do not act anything toward each other or to Mike and Will like Mike and Will do toward each other.
