My niece and nephew playing Uno together. They decide to deal in Raja (the cat) who is laying next to them. Raja gets a purely blue hand.
Raja wins.
I'm not sure what happened here, but I'm laughing about it.

I don’t like how fans make Azula out to be this over-sexualized, femme fatale, master seductress like did y’all not see the way sis was STRUGGLING to talk to Chan? I wanna read posts and fanfics of her being the social awkward teenager that she is. Also, I wanna read some Dangerous Ladies content that’s not just “big bad Azula is torturing poor Mai and Ty Lee and they hate her”. Positive Dangerous ladies content (AU or not) where they’re the center of the story and their friendship is the focus in a positive light? Top tier. Positive dangerous ladies content where they’re all lowkey assholes, don’t be fooled by Ty Lee the girl’s a dick at times, but still manage to be lovable is immaculate. Positive dangerous ladies content where they’re all lovable and lowkey assholes AND Azula is socially awkward AND they show affection for each other in their own ways? ✨Exquisite✨ I love to see it.

More ATLA/LOK Incorrect quotes
GN reader, unless stated otherwise
Bolin, propping his feet on the table: So, I heard you like bad boys?
Y/n: What? No.
Bolin, taking his feet off the table: Oh thank God, that felt terrible.
-
Lin: Whats this?
Y/n, hugging her: Affection.
Lin: Disgusting.
Lin:…
Lin: Do it again.
-
Bolin: Wow, your legs look amazing in those pants!
Y/n: You should see me without them.
Bolin: Without.. legs?
-
Sokka: What did you make for Y/n?
Zuko, staring at the burnt food: Regret.
-
Korra, holding kettle: Coffee or tea?
Y/n: Tea.
Korra: Wrong! Its coffee.

Bolin, talking about y/n: My crush isn’t picking up on any of my hints.
Mako: What hints have you given them?
Bolin: I think about them.. a lot.
Bolin: And sometimes I think about talking to them.
-
Y/n: Mako?
Mako: What?
Y/n: Are you asleep?
Mako: Who the fuck did you think said ‘what’?
-
Y/n, waking up: Am I dead?

Y/n: Is this heaven?

Y/n: Time for plan G.
Mako: Wait- don’t you mean plan B?
Y/n: No we did plan B a long time ago. I had to skip over C because of some technical difficulties.
Asami: What about plan D?
Y/n: Plan D was that desperate disguise attempt half an hour ago.
Bolin: And plan E?
Y/n: Im hoping not to use it, I die in plan E.
Korra: I like plan E.
-
Y/n: What the fuck? People actually tell their crushes they like them?
Mako: Well, what do you do?
Y/n: I die? Pfft- What kinda question..
-
Y/n: A mosquito tried to bite me and I slapped it and it died.
Y/n: Then I started thinking. It was just trying to get food.

Y/n: Howw would I feel?
Mako: Are you ok?

Bolin: What does ‘take out’ mean?
Mako: Food.

Korra: You’re a little obsessed with yourself aren’t you?
Y/n: Well if im not who else is gonna be?

Asami: I want you to take care of yourself and get enough sleep.
Y/n: Absolutely not.
-
Asami: My boyfriend is too tall to kiss, what should I do?
Korra: Punch him in the gut, then when he leans down kiss him.
Bolin: Tackle him
Y/n: Dump him, be with me.
Lin, passing by: Kick him in the shin.
Mako: Please don’t do any of those.
-
[Korra, sneaks into house at 2 am]
Mako, turns in swivel chair: Care to explain where you were?
Korra: Uhh.. I was out with Y/n.
Y/n, also turns around in another swivel chair: Care to- [chair wont stop turning] Mako- I cant stop the chair-

Bolin, after making Y/n mad: You wont hit me, I have witnesses.
Y/n: Mako. Asami. Turn around.
[Both Mako and Asmai turn around]
Bolin, scared: M-Mako? Asami?
-
Y/n: So whats Zukos type?
Sokka: Y/c eyes, kind, oblivious, good sense of humour, turtleduck lover.
Y/n: Damn, sounds kind of like me. Too bad we’re just friends though.
Sokka: Did I mention oblivious?
Y/n: Yeah why?
Sokka: Just making sure.

I'm so glad I'm single because no one can try and ask me the 'would you love me if I was a worm' question.
Because my ass is scared of worms.
I would have to inform them seeing them as a worm would actually facilitate a mental breakdown from me. I'd find a way to put them in a tank with dirt and find a way to keep them alive, but I could not do it.
This isn't a joke either. I am truly scared of like... 3 things and worms is one of them.

Azula's Strong Emotional Empathy Skills
Often times, people assume that Azula is bad at empathy, or at least emotional empathy. However, I would dispute that, and argue that her compassionate empathy skills in particular are actually extremely strong and off the chart, at least when it involves someone she cares about.
ATLA gives several examples of Azula showing off her empathy skills. The first comes in "The Crossroads of Destiny":
Azula: We've done it, Zuko. It's taken a hundred years, but the Fire Nation has conquered Ba Sing Se. Zuko: I betrayed Uncle. Azula: No, he betrayed you. [She stands up from the throne.] Zuko, when you return home, Father will welcome you as a war hero. Zuko: But I don't have the Avatar. What if Father doesn't restore my honor? Azula: He doesn't need to, Zuko. [She puts a hand on Zuko's shoulder.] Today, you restored your own honor.
She notices Zuko is uneasy, and does a pretty good, if not entirely successful job trying to reassure him and make him feel better.
Next we come to "The Awakening":
[Meanwhile, back at the Fire Nation Capital, Zuko feeds turtle ducks in a lake with some bread. Azula joins him.] Azula: You seem so downcast. Has Mai gotten to you already? Though actually, Mai has been in a strangely good mood lately. Zuko: I haven't seen Dad yet. I haven't seen him in three years, since I was banished. Azula: So what? Zuko: So, I didn't capture the Avatar. Azula: Who cares? The Avatar is dead … [Zuko looks away.] unless you think he somehow miraculously survived.
It's easy to miss out on this with where the scene ends up going, but what's actually the inciting reason for the scene to happen in the first place is that Azula knows Zuko is out of sorts, and wants to reassure him. She knows exactly where he is likely to go when he's sad or anxious, the turtleduck ponds which reminds him of Ursa, and easily finds him there. However, in her attempts to reassure him, she begins to suspect that he's hiding something from her, and the scene gets derailed.
Next up is "The Beach":
Zuko: [Cut to closer view of Zuko and Mai. Angrily.] Doing nothing is a waste of time. [Rises from his seat next to Mai.] We're being sent away on a forced vacation. [Walks over and grips the railing of the boat.] I feel like a child. Azula: [Frontal view.] Lighten up. So Dad wants to meet with his advisors alone, without anyone else around. Don't take it personally.
Azula instantly tries to reassure Zuko here, although she's less skillful about it than in some other cases.
Next up is the famous "Azula apologizes to Ty Lee" scene. As I've argued elsewhere, Azula is very skillful in comforting Ty Lee there. She knows exactly what she needs to say and do to make Ty Lee feel better.
Then, after Zuko gets kicked out of the party, we get this scene
Azula: I thought I'd find you here. Zuko: [Side-view.] Those summers we spent here seem so long ago. So much has changed. Azula: Come down to the beach with me. Come on. This place is depressing.
Azula's empathy is really impressive here. She apparently not only realized that Zuko would end up in a bad funk and cared enough to do something about it, but she also knew exactly where he would go in his depressed emotional state.
We then have the famous "fireside" scene. Azula isn't always the nicest person here, but her ability to understand the emotions of others is on full display:
Zuko: [Turning around.] For so long I thought that if my dad accepted me, I'd be happy. I'm back home now, my dad talks to me. Ha! He even thinks I'm a hero. [Close-up of Azula, who smiles.] Everything should be perfect, right? [Aerial view of campsite.] I should be happy now, but I'm not. [Turning back to the others.] I'm angrier than ever and I don't know why!
Azula:[Frontal view.] There's a simple question you need to answer, then. Who are you angry at? Zuko: [Close-up.] No one. I'm just angry. Mai [Side-view of the three girls.] Yeah, who are you angry at, Zuko? Zuko: [Close-up.] Everyone. I don't know. [Becoming frustrated.] Azula: [Frontal view.] Is it Dad? Zuko: [Close-up.] No, no. Ty Lee: [Frontal view.] Your uncle? Azula: Me? Zuko: [Close-up.] No, no, n-no, no! Mai: [Close-up.] Then who? Who are you angry at? Azula: [Camera pans left, past Ty Lee, to Azula.] Answer the question, Zuko. Ty Lee: [Close-up.] Talk to us. Mai: [Extreme close-up.] Come on, answer the question. Azula: Come on, answer it.
Finally, we have this scene from Nightmares and Daydreams:
Azula: Hello, Zuzu. If you've come for a royal hair-combing, I'm afraid you'll have to wait. Zuko: So I guess there's a big war meeting coming up, huh? And apparently I'm not welcome there. Azula: What do you mean? Of course you're welcome there! Zuko: Oh, yeah?! I guess that's why no one bothered to tell me about it! Azula: Oh, Zuko. Don't be so dramatic. I'm certain Dad wants you there. You probably just weren't invited because it's so obvious you're supposed to be there. Zuko: Well, were you invited? Azula: Of course! I'm the princess. Zuko: And I'm the prince! Azula: Exactly, so stop acting like a paranoid child! Just go to the meeting. Zuko: Forget it! I'm not going!
Although Azula instantly moves to try to comfort Zuko, this is in many ways her least successful scene. She struggles to contain her frustration with Zuko's behavior.
Still, overall Azula displays an impressive record, and shows very strong compassionate empathy skills. However, it's only toward the people she's close to, as she has no reason to display them toward enemies.

I'm really sad bc imagine how everybody who knew Aang feels when they meet Korra.
Imagine Toph who really just wants to hear him ask her to show her that earthbending move 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘛𝘰𝘱𝘩 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦! And she'd give anything to hear him fall when he tries to dodge. Even as she laughs, or berates him for not doing it correctly, of course she'd help him, as many times as he needs to get it right. All she wants is to hear the unique rhythm of her friend's heartbeat just 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.
Imagine Zuko who sees Korra and he wants to be with his friend again. Just talk to him once more about history, from the serious issue of figuring out what the Fire Nation had taught that was true vs false, to the traditions that the Air nomads had and the holidays and festivals in the Fire Nation that Sozin, Azulon, and Ozai had banned or canceled. He wanted to sit in comfortable silence with Aang one more time just watching the turtleducks wander around in the gardens. All he wants is to see him gently hold a baby turtleduckling just 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.
Imagine Katara who wants to hold his hand while they walk through the beautiful forest, just together. She would do anything to see him again, even watch him do that 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘥 marble trick every day for the rest of her life, because it made him smile. All she wants is to see him smile just 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.
One day, all three of them watch as Korra sees a little wood frog and picks it up with all his gentleness, and smiles the same smile. Then Toph senses Korra's heartbeat, gaining the courage for the first time to actually listen to it. She nearly cries when she realizes that 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘩𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦.

Today's random thought is about how Zuko didn't have any friends on his own growing up, like all his friends were his sister's friends and I'm not counting family members because it doesn't make it better when you're like, eight.
Just picture it, little Zuko talking to the turtleducks, because there was no one else to talk to. It just makes sense he ended up talking to a frog.

And just like that, she’d fallen for him.
Spring. Summer. Autumn. The world had its cycles. There had been peace before war, and peace would come after bloodsheds and battles.
Katara looks at Zuko, at how he stares out to the width in the horizons. The curves of his nose and lips are soft, much like the colors of the leaves around them. The lines of his jaw and cheeks are sharp, in contrast.
He’s a beautiful man; she’s always thought so, even when they were enemies and he’d sworn he’d kill them. She likes it better this way, though— being friends, confidants, long-time companions. Kindness suits him more, either way. She likes how his face looks when he’s calm, — when there’s no rage to contort his scar, no scowl furrowing his brow.
She also likes that he knows her. That they can stand, silence pending between them, and it’s never too tense or uncomfortable. Zuko is just that good to her. He never puts too much pressure on her shoulders, — she’s had enough of that already. Instead, he soothes the rough edges. Lets her make her own choices and never judges her for them.
He looks back at her. An easy smile grazes his features; baffling, tortuous, beautiful. Katara has to fight the urge to freeze some water from her bottle and smash it across her searing face.
“Do you wanna…”, his voice cuts through the wind, raspy as it ever was. When he talks, it’s evident that he’s nervous. That he’s been circling around his thoughts and can’t seem to find the words. “I mean…”, he tries again. “Do you wanna stay here until you decide what to do?”
She hums, then turns her gaze back to the gardens. Aang had asked her to travel the world along with him, — to be by his side and help other people, from other nations and villages. She had yet to give him a proper answer.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to— go on missions, hear the masses’ suffering and be present in whatever way she could. Maybe, it was that she simply had pictured something different for herself. She could be so much more than just the “Avatar’s girl”! She could go home, lend a useful hand to Sokka and her dad advocating for their tribe. She could be an ambassador.
She could be with Zuko.
She can imagine the whole thing all too well, actually, — being on the palace, with him, until she could confront Aang about what to do. They could go for an evening stroll, feed turtleducks by the lake. Zuko’d make tea way past dinner time, and she’d laugh along with Suki when he’d burn his tongue by the first sip.
“There’s nothing I’d like more.”, she tells him, then. They are in one of the many balconies, staring out at the sun. The last scraps of summer have flushed with the breeze, and now the trees look all kinds of reds, yellows, oranges. Almost like they’ve caught on fire.
Zuko smiles at her again. A shy, wonderful thing that makes his eyes glint. His hair’s shaggy and overgrown, and falls limp between the honey of his irises. His cheeks burn a bright pink that, Katara deduces, might be from the gentle light warming up their faces.
“Okay.”, he says. He likes this, as well, — having her around. That he can open up to someone he can share his scars with, both the physical and the ones that lay underneath.
Katara inches close to him, just enough so that their elbows nudge together. The world has its cycles, she believes. Blue skies bleed into the darkness of the night. Ice defrosts when heated-up. And just like that, she’d fall for Zuko— delicate, and raw, and over and over. Helpless, like the moon that carries down the tides. Hopeless, like the autumn leaves that fall, ever so slow, and now gather at their feet like sea-foam.
“Okay.”

When Zuko fell in love with you, he didn't see it coming. The prince of a nation that made the water nation weak loved a waterbender. It was a surprise to no one if they saw you two. He wouldn't let a soul touch his hair, now let alone trim his hair, except you. You were the only one who raked their hand in his raven black hair. The only one who could get him to laugh. He hates dancing in front of people, but if you ask him to dance he will burn the dance floor. You're the first person he could talk to about anything. You found out he secretly wants to build a pond to make it a home for turtleducks. He lets you sleep on his shoulder even though you drool. A firebender fell in love with a waterbender. Who would have thought?

The way that Sokka realised that he was in love with Zuko was during fire nation spring. It was Zuko’s free day and he immediately pulled Sokka out of bed and told him to walk with him. Naturally they find themselves at the turtleduck pond and are leaning against a tree. They’re talking when suddenly Zuko looks really upset, and tells Sokka that he forgot to bring bread for the turtleducks. Sokka just gives him a smile and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a bag of bread and giving it to a very (pleasantly) surprised Zuko. He immediately rushes over to the pond and squats down to feed the ducks. They all crowd around him and nip at his fingers and even claw at his robes but Zuko’s never looked more carefree. It hits Sokka when he’s watching Zuko with a soft smile, and he all but feels his heart clench when Zuko whips his head around suddenly— wind blown and flushed and a huge smile, eyes crinkled and brow upturned. And that, is the moment when Sokka’s brain is filled with one thought, ‘I’m so in love with him.’
