Nick has no idea how to deal with crushes,like at all. So who does he go to,his cousin Luke who always gets the girls. "Man like I'm saying you wanna get a girl here's what you do-" Nick had cut him off mid-sentence sitting up. "I don't wanna get a girl Luke!" Luke began grinning like an idiot, Nick gave his strange cousin a confused look. "I FUCKING KNEW IT! I knew this was about that new guy!" Nick tried to deflect Luke's immediate correctness. "W-what new guy? There's no 'new guy'." Luke grabbed his shoulders. "Don't play dumb with me. This is about Y/n huh?"

Life after that had been hell, Luke taking every chance he could get to get Nick and you set up together. Of course you were clueless to this boys infatuation with you. I mean everything he did around you he would never in a million years do around ANYONE else, but that doesn't mean anything, right?

He had brought you flowers. Which now that he's standing in front of your room hes doubting himself. You just stared at the flowers in awe as he tried to choke out words. "i-i really like you Y/n." He was waiting for it, the grossed out look, the 'uh I'm not gay bro'. Something.

But none of that came. What came was a sweet laugh as your face flushed. "I-i had no idea you liked me. I totally had this huge crush on you but I thought like no way he's gay" you began to ramble on about how you like Nick back as he kissed you. It was a small peck,which may have been a little quick but he had dying to do it for ages.

You smiled brightly, taking the flowers and setting them on the dresser right behind you and pulled the boy in for another awkward kiss. It was awkward but lovely. "You know I think I love you" the brightest smile had been on Nick's face. "I think I love you too Nick."

Also random little bonus: "is that my hat?" "Nah bro i don't know what you're talking about this is my hat." "Yeah dude that's his hat" "no its not Luke. Y/n,that's my hat."

His heart broke as sobs racked their body. With his hand gently smoothing up and down their back, the callouses that littered his palms occasionally getting caught on the fabric, Luke tried his best to comfort his crying love. His chin pressed against the center of their shoulder, hoping that the pressure eased them somewhat. (Y/N) was usually a strong person, not one to break down into tears, so seeing them like this ... it was a whole other world. Luke would have sat there for hours if he had to, shushing them and rocking them back and forth to alleviate the pain that they were going through.

"It's okay, I got you. I'm not gonna let anythin' get to you, alright?"

Emotions were never this boys strong suit - when he walked into the cabin to see (Y/N) in tears, he froze up. His initial reaction was to ask if he needed to find someone and have a talk with them, but as (Y/N) reached their shaky hands out in his direction, he knew what he had to do. So, there they sat on the couch, Nick's long arm over their quivering body as they sobbed into his side, occasional words slipping from the lanky boy's mouth. Despite the fact they insisted that Nick didn't need to confront anyone, he still tried to prod them with a little humour.

"You sure I don't need to fight anyone? I will, if you want - it's not that big of a deal."

Much like Nick, Mitch had no idea how to go about comforting you. At first, he tried to tease you out of it, making prodding comments about how "people like you don't cry - you gotta suck it up." When he realised that made it worse, he freaked out. After a quick comb of the area, he realised that he was entirely on his own with this one. So, he sat next to you, barely touching you, letting you cry it out into his shoulder. Aside from his occasional inquiry about whether or not (Y/N) was feeling better, the boy was frozen and silent; he wouldn't outwardly express it, but seeing (Y/N) like this was scary. He never saw them as the type to break down like this.

DATING NICK WOULD INCLUDE:

-He's insecure. Constantly. He always needs reassurance but it'll take a lot of reassuring your reassurance to REALLY reassure him that he's doing great

-And no PDA, at all. It makes him really nervous and he really likes to act tough.

-"I didn't know you two were a couple!" Is probably a common thing to hear, even from your closest friends.

-He's very protective over you. Won't let anyone touch you, will actually lose his shit and point a gun at them, yelling that they need to back off right now and give you your space.

-Will always try to walk in front of you in case anything or anyone jumps out at you two.

-You'll have to be the one to say "I love you" first. He'll be so stunned he won't say it back. He'll just leave and come back a week later and be like "yeah- I uh- I love ya too or whatever"

-Nick worries about being too cold to you in public so he tries really hard to be romantic when you're alone.

-He'll be very cliche about everything and only realize have way through planning, and then wanting to throw everything away and forget about it.

-Things like a candle lit dinner with champagne (or moonshine, since he probably got some from the shack), with little scraps of paper that are supposed to look like rose petals leading the way to the table.

-Will also do a lot of little acts of kindness for you, like heating up water and filling the bathtub so you can have a hot bath, or cleaning your guns and knives for you.

-Will pretend he has no clue what you're talking about when you thank him, he's not used to being appreciated so he doesn't take compliments or thank yous very well.

-You have to initiate pretty much everything, cause he never wants to cross a boundary with you or make a mistake.

-He might kiss you first though. He'd still ask for permission first. (First kiss with consent >>> first kiss being a surprise/used to interrupt the person)

-He's very loyal and loves you a lot, but especially at the start of your relationship he gets very defensive very quickly. You have to get him used to letting his gaurd down and relaxing around you because he's afraid of messing up.

A/N: I know that this is a few years too late for this to be relevant, but Nick will always be my boy. Under a cut because NSFW.

a = aftercare (what they’re like after sex)

Nick usually feels pretty emotional after sex and he’s overwhelmed by how vulnerable he let himself be with you. In these moments, he’s not much of a talker (not that he really ever is), but he tends to snuggle into you, resting his head on your chest or in the crook of your neck. Because of how he was raised, he has a tendency to bottle his emotions inside, but after growing more and more comfortable with you, he might actually open up about how he’s feeling in those quiet, intimate moments.

If you’d prefer him to be a little neater downstairs, he’ll make an effort to trim it up for you. If you don’t mind, though, he’d probably prefer just not worrying about it at all and just leaving it natural. He doesn’t expect you to shave or anything either. It’s just not a big deal to him.

i = intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)

Nick is surprisingly more intimate than he lets on, though he’s still not Mr. Romance. He has a hard time expressing intimacy in regular conversations throughout the day, so all of his intimacy comes out whenever you two are alone, be it when you are just cuddling up in bed or having sex. He’s gentle and sweet and gives you lots of little kisses all over. He’s not the most romantic guy, so don’t expect champagne and rose petals from him, but you can tell just how much he loves you by how soft and gentle he becomes around you.

Nick doesn’t have the highest sex drive, so he doesn’t masturbate all too often, especially ever since you two have started a physical relationship. Second Escape (Nick X Fem!Reader)

Characters: Nick X Fem!Reader

Universe: The Walking Dead (Telltale)

Warnings: Spoilers, bit of swearing

Request: Oo twd game? Honestly I had a little bit of a soft spot for Nick even when he was sorta unravelling 😂😅. Could I maybe ask for one the first night they've been locked up in the courtyard when Carver gets them and reader is really anxious cos she was hoping to never be back here but she notices Nick on his own and goes over to him and they just lay together and comfort each other and promise to look after each other? A real soft moment? If you dont mind :))

Things hadn’t gone to plan in the slightest. Everything seemed to get worse and worse, and it’s all because of Carver. Goddamn Carver. He just couldn’t leave you guys alone, could he? You especially felt bad for Clementine and Kenny’s group, who had taken you guys in out of the goodness of their own hearts, and now they were dragged into this mess.

You had awful memories of the last time you were here, in this courtyard. It was only a few months ago when Rebecca started to show symptoms of pregnancy and you all managed to get out and start afresh. Everything seemed to be going well, you found a nicely preserved house near to good food sources, and a ton of medical supplies, and everyone settled down well, though all of you couldn’t get the paranoia out of your heads about Carver. Guess you were right to do so.

You didn’t want to think what punishments he had in stock for you all. He’d already pulled Alvin away to do god knows what, and there was an air of unsureness in the courtyard. You’d tried to reassure Clem and the others that things would be okay, but refrained but mentioned escaping, knowing that if someone overheard you, you could wind up in the same position as Alvin or worse. However, out of everyone, there was one person you were most concerned about, and you weren’t alone.

“Y/N?” Luke called to you, and you looked over at him after checking in on the girls. “Can you try working your magic on Nick? I’m worried about him…” Luke expressed quietly. You looked over his shoulder at Nick, seeing him tucked away in a corner, brooding. You didn’t say anything, just nodding to him then walking past him to Nick.

You had known Nick for almost as long as Luke had, since you had befriended Nick through Luke, and while you were never as close to him as Luke, you two still got along pretty well. Luke insisted that you had some sort of magic power when it came to Nick, and whenever Nick’s anger got the best of him, all Luke had to do was call you over, and you managed to calm him down. Luke had tried to copy your actions, but it never seemed to work.

As you came over to Nick, he glanced up at you, but didn’t say anything, and you didn’t either as you came and sat beside him, letting a moment pass before you lightly nudged him. “Tell me what’s on your mind.” You asked him quietly.

“... We’re fucked, aren’t we? Carver’s gonna kill us, or make our life hell.” He kept his head hung as he spoke, and you frowned.

“Hey.” You told him, leaning in, wrapping one of your arms around his. “We got out once, we can do it again, and this time we’ll keep walking, and we won’t stop until we’re on the other side of the country. We’ll make sure he’ll never find us, and we’ll find somewhere to set base, start afresh… We’ve made it this far, I’m not done fighting, and like hell am I leaving you behind, asshole.” You told him quietly,

“Why would you do that? If you get the chance to escape, why risk getting yourself killed by dragging me along?”

“Because you’ve been stuck with me for years now, like hell are you getting rid of me now, and I will drag you out of here by your hair if I have to, and Luke will help and you know it.” You told him. Nick let out a silent chuckle, shaking his head as his head remained low.

“You have a point… until then, I’ll protect you from Carver so you can drag me out of here when the time comes.”
