Tweak Headcanons . . .

I wanted to take another pass at Tweak but this time try for that green we all know her in. I found some references on Pinterest that really inspired me to go for this swampy, almost lichen color.

[ Headcanons Ahead ]

For Tweak's dad, Ranger Marsh, you'll see some strands of that bright green I put in her last design. I think I'll keep it as an homage to my first try. And maybe I can headcanon that he tried to dye his hair for his daughter (to stay hip as they say) but accidentally chose the wrong green so that's why it ended up being so bright.

Her mother's side of the family actually adapted to the swamp by changing their fur color to match the mud and the moss. So Tweak got her mom's fur but got her dad's eyes.

I didn't even mean for it to happen but both Tweak and her dad (we're gonna pretend that Kwazii doesn't have one too lol) have a scar under their right eye. And honestly I think it would show as a sign of how similar they really are deep down.

Maybe they don't look the same or sometimes even act the same but they both carry the same scars. They both loved Tweak's mom and tried to live the way she would've wanted them to. They both try to help people, the animals, even the environment. Sure they butt heads sometimes but what father-daughter duo doesn't?

They both care about each other but sometimes its hard to show how much they care. Especially without Terry (her mom) to merge the gap.

V1 OCTONAUTS REDESIGNS!!!!!!!!! i am not joking this took me an entire day for how rusty it looks because i couldn't decide on a lineart style. but for now this mostly serves as a guide for myself

i love them with all my heart and added some insults jotted statements or headcanons on how i view each character

anyway I'll work on their clothes, especially for shel, kwazii, peso, and dashi for as long as my interest runs

✨ soft magic winx redesigns (probably not the final versions)

the goal was to give them a somewhat closer feel to enchantix while not making too many changes (except Musa ended up getting a completely different outfit but anyway lol) since magic winx seems a bit too modern in comparison. i'm not 100% satisfied with the results, so i might change them a bit in the future.

I might as well share this, here's a new design for Hades that I've been cooking up!!! I'm so happy with this one genuinely, I've been having trouble with him for so long but this truly feels like the exact vibe I wanted to convey with him

Some concepts for the missing bad-ending sins? I will probably do some tweaks here and there, BUT the ideas are now on paper :) yay!

Some notes under the cut:

Greed and Envy are full time repossession men. Sometimes they do some work here and there around the Casino (like bouncing, or working certain tables), but their main job is to go around and rough up toons whose souls are overdue.

Gluttony probably works with the Tipsy Troop around the kitchen/bar. Gluttony is all about indulgence, and you better believe that the food in Inkwell Hell is going to be SO GOOD.

Sloth sorta just lazes around all over the casino. She looks cute, what more do you want from her?? Patrons buy them drinks, spend more money, and Sloth is too relaxed to really care either way. 😌

Wrath works behind the scenes, in research and development regarding souls. However, most of their "work" is just a lot of torture and pent up rage under the guise of science. Oops.

Lust is a lot like Sloth. Customers buy her drinks and spend more for her, but she's a lot more animated about it! But, she can come off as too much, and very overwhelming, especially when compared to Sloth.

Pride is in training directly under King Dice to be a manager. Very clean and put-together, the neatest sin. Will turn their nose up to regular patrons attempting to speak with them, and will be short with other employees.

🐙‼️OCTO ALERT‼️🐙

After a long bit, I finally finished the rest of the Octonauts! Enjoy more of my interpretations of them, and if you haven't seen my previous post about them, click here for Peso, Kwazii and Captain Barnacles!

In a world where most of the population consists of animal shifters, the Octonauts are a group marine biologists and activists who help bring attention to both the curious beauty of the Earth's waters and the harms that threaten its incredible ecosystems.

Tweak is the Octonaut's engineer, and she was the only member apart from the Captain himself who had been a part of the Octopod's original, hired crew. She's seen members come and go and had gone through the worst alongside her captain, yet her loyalty hasn't wavered even in the years she had served by his side. In fact, her love for adventure and marine life only seemed to grow as time passes. Apart from Kwazii- who she didn't fully trust at first, and rightfully so at the time- Barnacles considers her as someone he can put 100% of his faith in, and even the rest of their crew knows that she's someone they can truly rely on with anything.

Shellington is the Octonaut's scientist and was hired as their marine specialist. His colleagues would consider him a considerate man who's knowledge is only second to their founder, which sometimes scares the crew with just how much information he knows of any given animal. As for the Vegimals... Well, Let's just say that Shellington wanted to produce some food for the crew to keep them from surfacing every few months, and so, decided to start a greenhouse within the Octopod. Disappointed at the rate of which their goods are growing, he decided to "lend them a little help", though he instead finds himself becoming a father of 5 the following morning. He is now a full carnivore. He can't look at certain vegetables the same way again.

Dashi is the Octonaut's IT specialist and photographer, and so, often works alongside Tweak and Shellington (who she had been hired alongside) both on-field and within the Octopod. Though her knowledge on marine life can't compare to some of the other members, as a photographer she documents their missions, the creatures they had helped and occasionally files or publishes any new findings or updates regarding certain species. Prior to her work as an Octonaut, she was actually a well-renowned journalist who had earned several awards.

And, of course, how could I forget

Professor Inkling is the Octonaut's renowned founder, and is one of the oldest shifters to date. He's a knowledeable octopus, and though most founders and CEOs would rather lounge comfortably for the remainder of their lives, Inkling enthusiastically works alongside his employees and even assists and advises them if ever needed.

Why is he the only member of the Octonauts who isn't part human? the artist thinks it was funny Well, some believe that he's from an older generation of shifters, raised in his animal form. It certainly has some merit to it, especially considering no one- not even the octonauts themselves- had even recognised his species.

Barnacles believes that Kwazii should show more respect towards Inkling and should stop muttering assumptions and theories with Dashi and Shellington.

headcanon: Tweak thumps her foot. she has a steel toed engineer boot so it makes this loud CLANK when she thumps it against the hollow metal platform of the launch bay whenever shellington and/or kwazii arrive with some insanely wrecked precious gups or when inventing frustrates her

she worked on her thumping so it wouldn't be as startling but if you tick her off a little too much you hear a faint marmalade "clank" from the floor while she gives you a death stare

The mf who will never own the packers! I love his messy ponytail sm, he deserves it in ghost form too. I think in human form, it still moves a bit more animatedly than normal, and in ghostly form it straight up moves like it's underwater or a slow-mo fire crackling.
