yknow i think i get now why i actually enjoyed cleaning at starbucks vs. why i continue to hate cleaning at my house. the projects end. like yes i come back tomorrow and yes i do it all over again, but it's a new day and it's the same set of tasks and there comes a point when those tasks stop being a problem because you complete all of them and then go home. and also you take steps to ensure that by the end of the night, you're not redoing a bunch of tasks—you only use a couple trash cans so you don't have to take out all the trash; you shut down one bar so it's clean and you only have to clean the one; you deep clean the floors once and spot sweep at the end of the night.

when i am in my house and i have chores to do, there's never a moment where homeostasis is achieved and everything is done, because i cannot do all the big deep clean chores all at once, so every day i'm doing a single chore, if that, and neglecting everything else. so then by the time i've gotten through them all, bc i haven't maintained any of the chores, i am back to square one, and it would be easier if i could just maintain everything and get into a habit and routine, but the herculean effort it takes to build that habit and routine requires so many more spoons than i have on a day to day basis.

sorry if this is oversharing but here's my two cents ! i dated someone for 3 years who never put in the effort, never was the first to call, left me on read, never texted me first etc. It makes you MISERABLE. and i always had this idea of if i just said the right words they would change. if I told them enough times that i was unhappy and wanted more effort from them, they would start treating me right. they would always say they would do better, and then did the same.

there's no magic word combination. some people are just built like that forever, no matter how much u plead. it really makes u feel worthless after a while. unfortunately she sounds just the same. after we broke up i realised i only tolerated all that shit because i found them SO SO SO physically attractive. and it made me feel so good about myself...like look at me i can pull this absolute hottie...and i realised i was in love with that feeling more than i was in love w them or their personality.

yh i def understand ! whenever i was in a relationship w smn who was inconsistent in replying etc etc even for a temporary period i felt absolutely miserable i can't imagine what it's like to go through that for 3 whole years...the situation w my crush however i think is a bit different bc we've gone on very few dates (3) and we're not even in a relationship yet, and also maybe in the past i would plead or look for the right combination of words, but fortunately i'm at a stage in my life where i'm ok w just. accepting it def won't work out and i'm moving on

just wanted to let you know your hair has to be really light and yellow for pink to show up on your hair i would bleach and wear a cap so your ends get some heat to be able to lift past orange :( i don’t know what your hairs integrity is at right now but if its in fair health go with 30 vol developer on your ends and 20 vol on your roots and check every 10 minutes that your hair isn’t being substantially damaged the color should look like the inside of a banana best of luck!

yeah the pink showed up a little too well ngl like its neon and really warm... like two shades off from red.... my gameplan rn is to wash it out as hard as possible and also hit it with purple toner to try neutralise some of the warmth but if i get impatient i might try giving it a little bleach wash

hey if you're still struggling with the youtube layout thing (i literally went to tumblr to see if anybody else was complaining lol)

i don't think we can send links but googling for the youtube minitool software article "How to Go back to the Old YouTube Layout?" they have an easy walkthrough on how to temporarily fix it back to the previous one. i'm sure their minitool probably makes it permant but i haven't downloaded or tried it. the walkthrough is just a quick step process

youtube does have a feedback feature to yell at them :) hit the hamburger icon (to get to settings/playlists/etc) on top left corner, scroll all the way down, should have a feedback option. i told them if it doesn't change back or i can't personalize it i'll stop using youtube, but i'm not sure how much that actually works.

An excellent question, I'm afraid I'm only aware of me and my personal upbringings, so all I can say is regardless of location, find someone who doesn't lie to you. There's like, a lot of other qualifiers catered to your personality, but I'd say a staple for being the kind of girl you're looking for is that they're honest, or at the very least, honest to you.
