re: the person who just left a multi paragraph comment on one of my older fics talking about how much they disliked the ending and detailing several alternate endings they came up with instead that they thought would be better, and ending the comment with "no one is going to see this but oh well" authors see your comments yes even on old fics and it really doesn't feel good to see a comment like that even years after I finished the fic

Every time I see a Reverse Robin's Au and see a 'Tim Drake is the Red Hood' or something adjacent to that, a part of me dies, because Tim would not have a reason to be the Red Hood like Jason did-- he has zero connection to crime alley, and his morals and motivations are different from Jason's. Tim would not kill.

"But Red Robin--" blowing multiple people up from a distance is different from pulling the trigger of a sniper or pistol or being up close and personal and stabbing them with a sword or knife and the chopping off their heads.

and yeah there are alternate versions of him who are gun-batmans, but they were meant to show how main contenuity Tim couldn't let himself fall down that path. Tim would rather kill himself that let himself become a Brutal Batman

also, Tim probably has stronger morals that Batman. He became Robin because he could see Bruce inching closer and closer towards that line. He became Robin to stop Bruce from going to a place where he couldn't return.

if Tim died, and then came back to life, only to find out he's been replaced, I think he would just find his own city and become a hero there without telling Bruce he's alive.

God, I'm not even a Tim fan, but making Tim Red Hood is just such a disservice to his character.

cant stop thinking about marie and jordan just being so disgustingly cute together (in an au where shit isn't fucked up) that even andre, cate, and luke are flabbergasted at how cringe (soft) jordan is with her.

like yea, jordan has dated around. never anything serious but those 3 have seen how jordan has been around people they casually date. they're always super nonchalant about everything.

and then here comes marie, she sweeps jordan off their feet and it's like they're a totally different person around her. they're still annoying and a little shit but everyone can see how marie has them completely wrapped around her finger. everyone, including marie, notices the staring when they think no one's watching and how they're always touching her in some way, always keeping her close. always acting like saying goodbye to her is the hardest thing they've ever done (bc it really feels that way to them).

ugh there's just so much potential for unexpected soft!jordan and i cant stop thinking about it!!!

I have this vision of Elucien coming home from some fancy dinner or event (impeccably dressed because duh) - and they bathe (together 😃), change into comfy pjs, and get a sneaky little late night snack and eat it together, giggling like teenagers in love, on the floor of their kitchen.

Domestic soft elucien is my everything! They're slightly tipsy and gossiping with each other about everything that went down at the dinner/event. When they finally get up, they dance (waltz if you will) their way to their bedroom, flirting up a storm until Lucien has Elain on her back and she let's out a cute little "oof" and he's smirking, resting his body on top of hers.

"Willing to have an after-party, little dove?"

"With you?" she whispers and leans up to kiss him quickly. "I'm willing to do anything."
