This is a kind of weird question, I know, especially because networks are fluid (I don't entirely know what they do besides advertising). Like, Adventures in New America and It Makes A Sound used to be part of Night Vale Presents, but now NVP seems to be nearly entirely made up of shows by the WtNV crew. Mischa Stanton helped found The Whisperforge, but now their podcasts aren't part of it. Meanwhile Hi Nay has recently joined Rusty Quill and its feed still works, but when Midst joined Critical Role they took down their feed and website and started new ones of both.

the way that this show has absolutely refused to accommodate matt is infuriating.
I am not Deaf/HOH but know a lot of folks who are and in knowing them have come to learn a lot, which I’m really grateful for! I realize that not everyone has had that opportunity, but at the very least on the production side, it is unacceptable not to have preemptively done the work to avoid certain unnecessary situations. By refusing to provide things like live closed captioning BB is directly contributing to the misguided idea that an accommodation=an advantage (not true) when in fact they are creating a MORE unfair situation by doing so.
And these houseguests are not entirely blameless either. It is understandable that when you’re getting used to a new way of communicating that you might slip up and forget sometimes which, imo, can be forgiven. I also think a lot of folks are under the impression that a hearing aid provides 100% hearing or even some kind of “superhuman” hearing, and that’s just not accurate. Like I said though, it’s a learning experience for most people and I get that, and I would hope that most people are open to that. And while a lack of prior knowledge is understandable, at this point to just not even TRY to remember to look at a person when you’re speaking to them when you have been told they CANNOT HEAR YOU unless you do so it just so ????

✨Harmonique✨
I found these Mermaze Mermaidz dolls stunning ever since they released, if strange in concept. I always passed them by in my visits to the doll aisle. Riviera (the purple haired metalhead) in particular appealed to me. (She might be next up on my list if I can find her on clearance. And hopefully with well rooted hair. 🤞)
Then I found Harmonique here for $9.99 at Burlington Coat Factory yesterday and decided to take the plunge 🤿. (A little Mermay humor for everybody. 😄)
My Harmonique has a few issues out of the box - but nothing that lessens my enjoyment of her. And things that would bother me more if I had paid full price.
The only modification I made to her washing the gel out of her bangs and braiding them similar her promo image. And redoing her bubble braid.

y'all, despite having More Time Sensitive Tasks(tm), i have instead spent my holiday afternoon ripping apart my writing storage to reconfigure it (and figure out where to shelve Driscoll through the end of the year). i Photographed This Endeavor, so: please hold, pictures inbound

What's really fun as a tiny 20-something listener podcast, is figuring out whether you'll have to suspend your actual play production because one of your cast is SAG-AFTRA.

God that post I just reblogged now has me flipping through the Fanbook myself (the whole thing's on archive.org, here)and there is so much fun stuff in it
For instance there's a page where they did some internet questionnaires on what people thought about different aspects of Phoenix's personal life--his birthday, his fashion sense, his hometown, etc--and this one kills me:
"Day off". Top 3 survey answers are: 1) complaining, 2) hanging out with Maya, 3) going for a walk.
like damn, such a succinct and yet thorough roast of him lmaO

the only people who really, truly understand "Balto" (1995) are me, my first college roommate, and composer James Horner who wrote the soundtrack for it. I know this because I listened to the soundtrack on repeat while driving a few days through the desert once and also I just inherently have more knowledge about this subject than anyone else

Fans spent decades claiming that Hideo Kojima is a creative genius who's being held back by the studio system, and then the first time a production gave him free rein to do whatever he wanted he promptly made a game where you have to play out using the bathroom in real time so the protagonist can collect his own urine to craft magic piss grenades. It's unclear whether this confirms the fandom's hypothesis.
