It was late at night, and Sirius and the rest of the Marauders had gone out to attend a meeting for the Order of the Phoenix. He was gone most evenings, though he would usually return before you went to sleep.
You were laying in bed with a lamp on, writing a letter to a friend while you waited for Sirius to come home. It was already an hour past the time Sirius estimated he’d be home, and you were beginning to doze off. Your eyes began to close slowly, the quill falling out of  your hand as you drifted off to sleep.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
A crash from outside of your bedroom pulled you out of your deep sleep, causing you to sit up abruptly. You looked beside you, but the bed was still empty.
“Sirius? Is that you?” You asked, standing up and heading towards your open bedroom door. The rummaging sounds stopped at the sound of your voice, and you peeked your head out of your room to check who was there.
Standing in your hallway was a young man dressed in all black robes, frozen in place. From his appearance, you could tell that he must’ve been no older than 18. His sleeves were rolled up, and there was a visible Dark Mark on his arm. Your face went pale at the sight, and your breathing picked up immediately. You stepped back, holding the door frame to steady yourself. Your mind was racing, and you couldn’t think of a viable solution on the spot.
The man pulled his wand out, pointing at you. “Don’t move!” He shouted, and his youthful voice confirmed that he must’ve been a new recruit to the Death Eaters.
You made a run into the bedroom, trying to get behind the bed before he could follow, but it was too late.
“Crucio!” He yelled, pointing his wand at you.
You collapsed to the ground in agony, rings of fiery torture flashing through your body. The pain was unbearable, searing bouts of pain wreaking havoc over your convulsing body. The man stood there, horrified at the scene in front of him.
Just then, the front door swung open, and Sirius’ voice rang through the air. “Y/n?” Hearing your cries of agony, he dropped everything that was in his hands and rushed to the source of the sounds. He pulled his wand out, holding it out in front of him.
The young Death Eater turned to face Sirius, raising his own wand. Before he could cast anything, Sirius was able to act first. “Expelliarmus!” He shouted, causing the Death Eater’s wand to fly out of reach, hitting a wall and bouncing onto the floor.
Giving him no time to react, Sirius casted another spell. “Incarcerous!” Multiple ropes shot out of the tip of his wand, binding the Death Eater so that he was unable to move. He fell to the floor, struggling in the ropes.
Sirius hurried into the bedroom, dropping to his knees in front of you. The stabbing sensation was beginning to fade, but you were still writhing in pain, curled up on your side.
Sirius had never felt so helpless: your screams were ringing through his mind, and he wished for nothing more than to be able to take the pain away from you. He would rather go through the curse a hundred times than watch you cry and suffer. He pulled you into his arms, cradling you as tears filled his eyes. He repeatedly apologised, holding your trembling body close.
As the pain finally ceased, you began to regain your senses back. Your ears were ringing, and your vision was blurry, but you were able to make out Sirius’ face above yours. You blinked slowly, exhaustion taking over your body.
“Y/n? Can you hear me?” He asked, his voice shaking.
After a moment, you nodded slowly. Tears were rolling down his face, and his eyes were full of guilt.
You sat up cautiously, holding your side where there was still an aching sensation. He pulled you into a hug, holding the back of your head with his hand. “I’m here now. You’re safe.” He assured you, letting you release shaky sobs into his shoulder.
The panic returned, and you were wide awake again. “I couldn’t move, Sirius. It was excruciating. I’ve never felt such agony before.” You cried, hugging him tight as he rubbed your back.
“What did he do to you?” He questioned, releasing you from his embrace and wiping your tears away with his thumb.
“He used the Cruciatus curse.” You replied, your voice almost a whisper.
An expression of both rage and sorrow flashed across his face. He shook his head, pulling you back into a hug. “I have to get you to St. Mungos. Do you think you can stand, sweetheart?”
You let go of him, using his shoulder to attempt to push yourself up. After a few moments, you shook your head. The pain had taken a toll on your body, and you were too weak to stand on your own.
Sirius stood up, lifting you into his arms and carrying you bridal style out of your bedroom. The two of you were reminded of the presence of the Death Eater in your hallway when Alastor Moody walked through your front door.
“Sirius. I didn’t think I’d be seeing you again tonight.” He spoke with his gruff tone of voice, striding over to the restrained man on the floor.
“I’m taking Y/n to St. Mungos. Will you be taking care of this?” He asked, looking over at Moody.
“That’s what I’m here for. Crucio is a nasty one. Better be on your way.” He replied, taking his wand out.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
Once you were checked into a bed for the night, the nurse had given you a pain-relieving potion and instructed that you try to get some rest before leaving you for the night.
Sirius sat at your bedside, holding your hand and rubbing the top of it with his thumb. You were exhausted, but you couldn’t seem to get yourself to sleep.
“I’m so sorry, Y/n.” He spoke, his voice dripping with regret. I should’ve been home. I let this happen.”
You shook your head, turning it to look at him. “Don’t blame yourself.”
“How can I not? This shouldn’t have happened. I should’ve come home when I said I would. It should’ve been me, not you.”
“Please, don’t say that.” Tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to spill. “I wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone. Especially not you.”
“I promise you, Y/n, I will never let anyone hurt you ever again.”
You offered him a weak smile, squeezing his hand. “You can go home, Sirius. No use suffering in that uncomfortable chair all night.”
“I’m not going to leave you. An uncomfortable chair is the least of my concerns. You should be sleeping by now. Close your eyes.” He pushed a strand of hair out of your face, cupping your cheek with his hand.
“I can’t. Every time I close my eyes…” Your throat tightened, making you unable to get the words out.
“Shh. It’s okay.” He stroked your hair, reassuring you. “How about I read you a book? I have your favourite in my bag.”
“You do?” You inquired.
“I always do. Just in case of emergencies.” He smiled, reaching into his bag and taking out the book.
“What kind of emergency requires my favourite book?”
“Clearly it was a good idea because it’s coming in handy right now.” He opened it to the first page, clearing his throat.
You smiled at him, turning onto your side to watch him read to you. The deeper he got into the story, the heavier your eyelids felt. Slowly but surely, his voice prodded you into a light but much needed sleep.
“Goodnight, Y/n.” He spoke softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead before settling into his chair to try and get some sleep.
He quickly realized that getting any sleep would be impossible. The images and sounds of you screaming in pain were tormenting his mind, causing immense waves of guilt and shame to wash over him over and over again.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
The next day, you had been cleared to go home with the expectation that you would avoid any strenuous task and get plenty of rest. Sirius had been instructed to ensure that you drink the pain-relieving potions twice a day, and to keep an eye on you to make sure that you were doing alright, physically and mentally.
He took his job very seriously, staying by your side all day, even when you were asleep. By evening, he was looking rougher than you.
"Sirius, you need to rest too. You haven't slept at all. How about you take a nice hot shower and then come back to bed?" You asked, giving him a reassuring look.
"I don't want to leave you." He said, anxiety clearly shining through his voice.
"I'll be okay for a few minutes without you. You can even leave the bathroom door open if it makes you feel any better. Plus, you've casted numerous concealment charms on the house. It's nearly impossible for anyone to get in." You took his hand, squeezing it gently. "I'll be okay. Moody said it wasn't a targeted attack, so we don't have to worry about them coming back."
"I know." He sighed, nodding. "Alright. I'll hop in the shower, but I'll be quick, okay? No more than ten minutes. Call me if you need anything." He gave you a quick peck on the lips before nervously heading to the bathroom.
He undressed, starting the shower and getting in. He let the warm water run down his face, closing his eyes. Flashes of last night's events ran through his mind, causing him to struggle to keep his tears inside. He smoothed back his wet hair, putting his hands on the shower wall in front of him to ground himself.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
As promised, Sirius returned to bed with you in no longer than ten minutes. His eyes were clearly red, though he sat next to you as if nothing had happened.
"Sirius..." You spoke softly, taking his face in your hands.
He looked at you, tears filling his eyes once more. The expression on his face caused you to get choked up, so you pulled him into a tight hug.
"I can't get it out of my mind, Y/n. That feeling, that desperate, helpless feeling, it's plaguing my every thought." He said, his voice breaking. "And if I'm in this much anguish from just seeing you in that state, then imagining what you must've experienced is too much to bear. How are you able to remain so strong? After what you went through, the torture you endured, how are you so resilient?"
"Because I have you, Sirius. I feel at ease when you're around because I know of the lengths that you would go to protect me." You let go of him, putting your hands on his shoulders.
"I'm sorry, Y/n, I'm being so selfish. This is about you, not me."
"You underwent trauma last night too. Please don't invalidate your own anxieties because you think that I had it worse. The important thing is that we are here for each other, and that I'm going to help you through this just as much as you're going to help me."
"Losing you is a fear that haunts my mind. That is why I'm so anxious about this situation. The world is a dangerous place right now, and seeing you get caught up in it was like seeing a nightmare come to life."
"I know. Every day that you're out there with the Order, I'm scared of losing you too."
"Don't you worry, darling. I'm not letting anyone get rid of me. I love you too damn much to leave so soon." He smiled softly, kissing your forehead.
"I love you too, Sirius."

Someone please write a fanfic with a scene like this—
or maybe just a little scene :0
This is what I feel like the aftermath will be when ‘that’ part happens in Sebastian’s questline
And maybe Ominis or MC will walk up on him and stop him—

Hope you like the drawing~💚🪄

Let's dive a little into Dark Magic and how Magic works in Hogwarts Legacy (or the whole Harry Potter world), shall we?
Firstly, I want to say than I love this world, but I don't know every detail about it, because I stopped reading any books of a certain author after reading the Harry Potter books as a teenager (and then reread them once as an adult). So maybe I'm simply not aware of the fact, but I feel the magic system isn't really well explained? Like, why are some wizards and witches more powerful than others?
In my mind, I think to be good at a spell you need to be good in two things:
1. Technique (How you wield the wand, the rhythm of the words for the spell)
2. The visualisation of what the spell is going to do
Let's take the famous 'Wingardium Leviosa' as an example.
To be able to cast it, you have to do the right movement with the wand and just the right pronounciation. But we also know that there is magic without using words or a wand, so it can't be the only thing.
So I think you also have to clearly see in front of your inner eyes, what's going to happen. In this case, how the feather will start to levitate. This would be possible, if you have a creative mindset or simply have made enough experiences to know, for example, how a feather looks and moves flying through the air.
But this gets harder with every spell. Seeing a feather levitate isn't that hard to imagine. But an animal, a chair, or something even bigger?
I think this is how great wizards and witches distinguish themselves from their peers - they are able to visualise even abstract things.
So in conclusion, I think, that means the better you are able to see a spell in front of your inner eye, maybe even with feelings, noises etc, the better the spell is going to be.
This would also explain, why the Unforgivable curses are as bad as they are. Because you have to imagine the pain, the control and the death clearly in your head. To be good at them you have to feel how it is to have absolute control over someone else, you have to imagine how umbearable the pain is, and how someone would look when dead - in every little detail.
This would explain why Ominis was able to do Cruciatus, even though he didn't really want to cause harm, because he experienced the pain on his own - so it wasn't hard to imagine it.
It also shows why Cruciatus from Sebastian on MC wasn't as strong, because he wasn't able to imagine them in that much pain.
And maybe it's just me, but I can clearly see, how this fucks you up, when doing repeatly. To imagine over and over in every little detail to torture, control and murder real people?
Maybe that's why using 'Bombarda' etc to fight isn't seen as bad, because in your head you're just imagine to throw them through the air, or break their leg etc..
I don't know if my thoughts make any sense and I surely have used the word 'imagine' a tad bit too often, but maybe you could see where I'm going with this.

Pairing: Sebastian Sallow x Gn!reader Genre: fluff, hurt/comfort Summary: After being hit with a wave of guilt for using forbidden magic, Sebastian came to help comfort you. Warnings: possible mentions of death and/or violence, use of forbidden magic, MAJOR HOGWARTS LEGACY SPOILERS!!
Tumblr media
“I want to learn the curse, and I think it’s best if I cast it on you.”
“Very well, if that’s what you want. To perform the spell, raise your wand, point it at me and declare, ‘Crucio!’ Hold on as long as you can.”
Tumblr media
In the dimly lit dorm room, shadows danced across the walls as your thoughts echoed in the silence. The air felt heavy with the weight of regret, and your mind replayed the haunting echoes of the Unforgivable curses that had become an unwelcome companion. The memories of that fateful use of the curses lingered, a bitter taste on your conscience.
Lost in contemplation, you gripped your wand tightly, the polished wood cool against your clammy palms. With a sudden surge of frustration, you flung it against the wall, the clash resonating through the room. The internal struggle between the desire for power and the realization of its consequences raged within you.
Amidst the internal turmoil, a knock on the door startled you. Composing yourself, you straightened your robes before opening it, expecting anyone but the unexpected visitor. To your surprise, Sebastian stood on the other side, a mix of concern and curiosity etched on his features.
"What do you want, Sallow?" you sighed, attempting to mask the turmoil beneath a forced smile.
Sebastian, undeterred by your facade, teased, "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." The jest faded as he sensed your genuine distress. "Is everything alright? Ominis and I were concerned when you never showed up today."
You brushed off the worry with a lie, but Sebastian's perceptive gaze saw through it. "You're sure?" he pressed, genuine concern in his eyes. "You can tell me anything, right?"
"Yeah, I know," you nodded, attempting to divert the conversation.
Sebastian, however, wasn't easily swayed. "So tell me, what's on your mind?"
"I'm just… thinking," you confessed, the weight of guilt evident in your voice. "What if Ominis was right about using the Unforgivable Curses? What if we truly had gone too far?"
Sebastian cut through your thoughts, recognizing the source of your turmoil. "The guilt of using the dark arts," he said, his voice empathetic.
“Unforgivable curses won’t work unless you really mean them. I had to want to cause pain. And for that, I shall never forgive myself.” Ominis’ words hauntingly echoed through your mind.
You nodded.
"If you didn't want to know how to use them, you could have told me," he pointed out. "I wouldn't have shown you how to—"
"I know, Sebastian," you interrupted, reassuring him. "But I did want to know. I didn't want to tell you no."
Sebastian sighed, a complex mix of understanding and regret reflected in his eyes. "I never wanted this burden for you, especially not out of love. The dark arts are a slippery slope, and the consequences are heavy. But we can't change the past. What matters now is how we deal with it together."
He entered the room, closing the door behind him. "Let's figure this out, face the consequences, and make amends where we can. We're in this together, no matter what."
As you both settled down to talk, the room echoed with the weight of your choices, but a shared commitment to navigate the challenges ahead cast a glimmer of hope amid the shadows.

What would have happened if…
Tumblr media
… Sebastian never casted Imperio on that goblin?
A nightly thought of myself and my headcanon:
If Sebastian had never cast Imperio on that goblin who was attacking Anne, I’m pretty sure she would have died OR been badly injured.
If this were the case, I’m sure she would have died anyway, the curse taking her even weaker and injured body over; killing her after some time.
Not able to take Anne to the catacombs, Sebastian could never use the relic.
Loosing his sister would push him into a deep, dark hole, where he finds himself lost and trapped. Blaming himself for not being able to protect his sister. He would cry every night, never laugh again, and barely show up at Hogwarts during that time. Solomon, who’s heartbroken and worries about Sebastian, might reach out to Ominis and MC, hoping that they can fix things.
Ominis and MC, both also mourning their loss of Anne, are shocked to see Sebastian’s state. They would take care of him, especially MC. She/He would take care that Sebastian would come back to his former self and fight him back to life.
MC would ask him to get himself together and return to Hogwarts. MCs words would include: "Sebastian, please. If not for me, then for Anne. Don’t let her die completely. She would urge you to return. You know I’m right“.
Eventually, he will return to his last year at Hogwarts. Would try a new beginning. Eventually, he would slowly realize his love for a girl/F!MC/M!MC, asking them out for the Yule ball and confessing one day.
He would get married and start his own family (No matter if he's with his wife or, if he’s with M!MC or Ominis, let’s make it clear - it would be totally fine, no matter if it’s not „well seen“ in this timeline).
His first child would be a boy, looking like the mother. The second one would be another boy. The third pregnancy/adoption would be twins. One boy and one girl. The girl would be called Anne. Hearing his wife’s/husbands wish to name her after his sister made him cry again. One night, holding his baby girl, he would look out of the window, tell his daughter about his sister - a strong and brave woman he couldn’t protect. But that he will do it better this time.
And eventually a bright star would shine more intensely at that moment as he spoke out that promise, like Anne did hear him and tell him that she’s his opinion; that she’s proud.
Sebastian would make peace with Solomon, inviting him over each second weekend, asking him for advice on raising children, and telling him about his fears of being a bad father. And Solomon would support him. "You're just as your father was - stubborn but loving. You carry much of him in you... becoming more and more like him. He and your mother would be proud, just as I am, Sebastian".
Sebastian would have had a hard time, but thanks to his friends and the love of his life, he returned to a healthy life and a happy family. He would become a healer or curse breaker in hope to help others who needs help - to be better than the healers and curse breakers when he needed them for Anne.
If he never casts Imperio...
._._._._._._._._._.
Well, now I’m crying myself to sleep 🌹
Thought about the Imperio scene a long time and this is my personal headcanon. I will also try to write a one shot about this but since I’m sick this has to wait a bit longer 😂 still, I didn’t want to forget a thing so I quickly wrote it down 🙆🏻‍♀️

UDLTTOM Worldbuilding rambles: UNFORGIVABLE CURSES—Why are the so unforgivable?
This is a thought that’s been bouncing around in my head for awhile. (It’s going to be a little rambling.) You know that saying that a person dies twice, first when they die, and second when the last time someone says their name. Well, this thought is sort of a mix of that and some sort of personal philosophical views on death that I have. I’ve reasoned to myself that there are 3 different sides to death, not just two. Essentially, when I think of death, I separate it into the following 3 parts:
Death of the Body: The most visceral and visible of the three, it’s the physical process of the body wearing out and shutting down. It’s a disconnecting from one’s own flesh, an inability to do what you once could, aches and pains, paralysis, etc.
Death of the Mind: Not as noticeable as the body shutting down, but the mind also shuts downs during death slurred speech, loss of awareness/memories, in ability to distinguish reality from disillusions, etc.
Death of the Soul/Spirit/Will-to-Live: Most common example of this I can think of is chronic depression or someone suffering through extreme, physical, emotional, or psychological trauma. Essentially it’s someone who’s given up on life spiritually, but might still mentally and physically still be able to function.
Over the last year, I’ve been thinking a lot about these 3 facets of death. I’ve watched my mother go through them as she battles terminal cancer. And I guess maybe I had a sort of epiphany when I started thinking about this in relation to the Unforgivables in HP.
Why are they so unforgivable?
At the surface level they seem like kind of basic spells, right? The killing curse kills, the torture curse causes pain, the mind control curse controls peoples’ minds, yada… And I think most people agree that killing, torturing, and controlling people is morally reprehensible and just on that context alone we as the reader can understand why they are illegal. But then you see other spells or potions that kill, and torture, and control people and you wonder why these sort of spells aren’t treated with the same severity as the Unforgivables.
So why? I asked myself: What makes the Unforgivables so Unforgivable? And then I thought about Neville’s parents and the after effects of the Cruciatus and how they had to be held in St. Mungos for the rest of their lives. On the surface my first assumption was that they were obviously driven to madness from the hours of torture, and suffering from severe PTSD, paranoia, etc. But what if the cruciatus has physical symptoms? What if the reason Neville’s parents had to be kept in a wizard equivalent to a psychiatric ward was not only because the trauma but because the spell altered something fundamentally about their bodies in relation to pain?
Which brings me to my first theory. That the cruciatus curse’s intention is not to cause pain. I propose that, in fact, it does the exact opposite under long durations. Cause think about it, the body can only handle so much pain before a person goes into shock or passes out, right? And a person’s tolerance to pain can also increase with repeated exposure to it. So following that logic, I think the cruciatus curse would only hurt for like a few minutes at most before the body would go into shock. And once the body is in shock I think something funny would happen with the pain and pleasure centers in the brain (I’m no neurologist btw, but what little I know of this sounds plausible to me) that the wires could get crossed and the body would start associating pain for pleasure. And afterwards I feel like when your nerves get fried in a fire and it creates a numbness in the body, a detachment from one’s own flesh that can only be relieved by experiencing intense pain. Except the person doesn’t actually associate the pain as being painful, but with pleasure and so they develop a compulsion for self-harm and self-mutilation. Which adds such a horrific context on to this curse. Because this compulsion is incurable. The brain has been irreversible rewired to associate pain in this way, so either you go through life being physically numb unable to feel your own body or chasing some kind of feeling through torturing yourself.
And jumping off of this thought, I then considered if the cruciatus disconnects you from your body, the Imperius curse has to disconnect you from your mind, right? I think you have some sort of awareness when you’re under the imperius to be able to resist it. But again maybe that’s only for the particularly resilient wizards? It makes sense to me that for most it would be like a total blackout, dissociative state. So prolonged exposure I think would not only effect short and long term memory, but also a persons ability to be fully present in their day to day life. I think of the after effects being similar to a dissociative disorder where the person is constantly being disconnected from their own conscious reality.
And finally there’s the Killing curse, which rips the soul from the body causing the person to just drop dead. And obviously because the person dies there’s no real after effect, right? But then I remember that scene with Slughorn and TMR discussing horcruxes:
TMR: And how does one split his soul, sir?
Slughorn: I think you already know the answer to that, Tom.
TMR: Murder.
Slughorn: Yes. Killing rips the soul apart. It’s a violation against nature.
Which my first thought seeing this scene is that if Slughorn thinks killing is a violation against nature, he’s clearly never watched a nature documentary. I mean if Casual Geographic has taught me anything is that the animal kingdom is naturally violent and the kind of shit animals get up to in their spare time is what would put any human in prison on a life sentence, but I digress. So I had to think about this from a different perspective. So then I think about what the purpose of Horcruxes is, to split the soul and place it into object and tether yourself to the physical world. And what curse do we know that severs the soul?
The killing curse. Slughorn says killing rips the soul. But I think Tom misinterprets this to mean murder, when the professors is in fact talking about the killing curse itself. And what we know from the Unforgivables is that you have to mean them to successfully cast them. So following that line of thought, in relation to LV’s horcruxes, Tom would’ve had to cast the killing curse on himself repeatedly. Which means that Tom Riddle had to have an incredible sense of self-loathing, and there had to be something—a personality trait or the like—that he despised so much that he wanted to kill it and cleave it from himself forever. Which in that context, suddenly Slughorn’s words make a bit more sense because suicide is going against that inate survival instinct that all animals have. And for Tom in particular, it squaring up and facing the one thing he is most afraid of (which might explain why it took him so long to make the first horcrux to begin with.)
And the degradation of Tom Riddle into Lord Voldemort as he makes more and more horcruxes is the effect of the killing curse & why it is so unforgivable.
I have so many thoughts on this topic of horcruxes & Tom’s deeply ingrained feelings of self-loathing, but I’ll probably save those for another post.

Who says Harry isn’t powerful?
Lily’s letter to Sirius mentioned Harry zooming around on his toy broomstick at a year old. I’d say displaying magic at that age is impressive. Plus going on to become the youngest Seeker in a century.
Killing the Basilisk. At age 12! With help from Fawkes, but still! Godric Gryffindor level of combat skills.
Conjuring a stag Patronus at age 13 to fend off a hundred Dementors, when most adult wizards couldn’t even cast an incorporeal one. His ability caused quite an uproar at the Wizengamot later on.
Surviving and WINNING the Triwizard Tournament at age 14. Had help here and there, yes, but Harry walked onto each battlefield alone.
Using Protego masterfully by age 15 that it reflected Snape’s Legilimens spell right back at him. Casting a Shield Charm powerful enough to expand and fill the Great Hall. Many adult wizards have trouble casting a sufficient Protego.
Leading Dumbledore’s Army and improving their DADA skills to significantly above average. Fighting courageously and sustaining the least physical damage at the Department of Mysteries.
Succesfully casting Imperio and completely resisting it. Successfully casting Crucio on his third attempt. Unforgivable curses take powerful magic, said Snape.
And finally, Hogwarts studies - yeah, maybe not top in nearly every subject like Hermione, but getting all Es on exams he wasn’t interrupted during and an O in DADA, outperforming his best friend Ron who grew up in a pure-blood wizarding household. Harry was raised by Muggles. Not the same starting point, and yet Harry ended up slightly surpassing Ron academically with that Outstanding score.
Recognized powerful characters - Marauders generation, certain Death Eaters, the professors - they are at least 20 years Harry’s senior. Being defeated by them does not, at all, make him mediocre. I’m sure that by his 30s, he’d have greatly increased in magical aptitude and solidified his status as one of the most powerful wizards of his generation.

It's honestly so funny that Barty Crouch Jr. was able to convince everyone that he was Mad Eye Moody. First day of class he must have been like: "Okay, fine to teach kids how to defend against the dark arts. Well, I know the dark arts so this should be a piece of... wait. I'm supposed to be imitating an auror for this. Uhhhh, he did seem like the kind to disobey the rules, so maybe let's try the unforgivable curses? No, they would realize, right? I mean he probably wouldn't stick to the textbooks. You know what, frick it, let's just go for it." And then afterwards was like: "Wait so that was perfectly in character. Who the frick is this guy?"
I mean honestly, props to Barty for that stunning maneuver.

Today i bring you another take on Sebastian Sallow
No, still not shipping him with my MC, but i do understand the vibes trust me - If Ominis didn't exist i would have been part of your team, but i'm cheering on you♥
I'm not super familiar with the books to begin with (shame on me sorry), so i asked my trusted friends on this, and the question was: After literally killing mobs and people with Confringo in the game, i was wondering:
Whats the difference with the Unforgivable Curses ? To be honest, next to killing slowly a burning human, Avada Kedavra seems more merciful, at least they die straight away - but ok.
So the difference is:
the Unforgivable Curses are designed to cause pain, control people, or take lives without justification, and their use is considered to be an act of evil. Litteraly, the moment you desire someone to die or cause them pain, makes it punishable by law. You' re allowed to kill with confringo as an act of "defending yourself" tho - (I mean, a living spider is already an offense to life itself right?)
But what's interesting is - and i'm coming with Sebastian -
To cast Crucio, you have to take pleasure in it
Okay, maybe the Crucio Sebastian casted on us wasn't that powerful compared to the one Natty took - BUT STILL IT WORKED?!
Tumblr media
SEBASTIAN SALLOW? WHAT THE FUCK? WHO ARE YOU? SOME INSPO FOR CHRISTIAN GREY? I knew you were not that sorry, you little sh*te AND THEY SAY THERE IS NO ROMANCE IN THIS GAME?!
Tumblr media
Sebastian "Imma cast crucio on that chick one day" Sallow's look for MC.
