Gotham Godparents - DP x DC

Jack and Maddie didn't spend their entire college time at UWM, no they started there but ended up spending some time at Gotham University. Which is where they met Harleen Quinzel and Bruce Wayne, two very intelligent people.

And when they left they kept in contact, and when they had their children they called begging for them to be their godparents.

So when Danny asked if Bruce and Harley could get him in contact with Batman they were concerned. And Harleen was even more concerned when Jazz asked if she had experience with counseling heroes and vigilantes.

Jacob Wysocki appreciation incoming

I absolutely love how he plays Dang as Greg Stocks. He feels like the most real, fleshed out character this season for me. Which is crazy because he makes some of the most INSANE moves this season, but they also make sense in this intense, ridiculous world where everything is an extreme. There’s no shades of grey in this world. Just black, white, and red. Farting to make everyone fall asleep. Taking his jet to space. Calling all the LA punks to raid an FBI building. The call to arms and for revolution when addressing said punks being “No survivors but the homies” is AMAZING. And all of those things coming from the same person who has been weaving this narrative about executive dysfunction, terrible self esteem, and the power of just doing things one step at a time. Fantastic. Amazing. He started this season as a newcomer to d20 and he’s immediately become such a presence. It’s absolutely fantastic to watch.

it's that time of the year where i post about the ocs from my secondary story before launching them back into the void for several months

#art tag #6139 #oc: vanna #this took THREE drawings the other two were just too stiff (this isn't the Greatest but way better than before)#but i really wanted to color this fit so i just angrily sketched out a third picture which finally worked #the story doesn't really have a plot just some vague ideas for the characters #because i always forget about it for a few months and then come back to it Extremely Briefly #it is set in the modern day #well..maybe pre-pandemic...maybe like 2018 or something #uhm since they were vaguely inspired by scooby doo in the original iteration though i could put it in the late '60s if i get tired of it #though it was specifically inspired by 13 ghosts of scooby doo + the reluctant werewolf movie #so...that would still be the '80s. what's wrong with me #the original draft was like a few shorter stories of the characters getting involved in various hijinx #but it's not really like a cartoon there's overarching themes and stuff? recurring stuff like that?#none of this is about vanna specifically.#she's not the group daphne she's actually the group googie (from reluctant werewolf)#so she is the girlfriend of casey (not-shaggy) (named for casey kasem)#but she like...does more stuff than googie does. and also doesn't immediately vanish lol #also!#because of that she's kind of an outsider #like...casey and vic (not-daphne) dealt with some wacky ghost stuff at their summer job in high school #working for not-vincent-van-ghoul #who needs a new name i don't like their old name...#but also like they were friends with the other two (noah/not-fred and lola/not-velma) in high school #but vanna went to a different town so she doesn't know them until the start of the story #she only sort of knows not-vvg and calls them up b/c casey's turnign into a werewolf and she doesn't know waht to do..#also her older brother's an evil wizard. possibly.#he was actually inspired by bram from music of the vampire so he fuckin SUCKS! lmao #i do have to start making characters not based off scooby doo but instead i just keep making ones based off of more obscure characters #well bram is probably less obscure than googie + had cameos in other movies. music of the vampire is more modern than reluctant werewolf.

i genuinely think that one of the most heartbreaking things about the doctor who original novels is the shocking number of ten and donna stories that separate the two of them straight out the gate, and then proceed to keep them apart for like half the story. like, really? the two most fun characters to write? with the dynamic that's one third banter and two thirds unassailable bestfriendship? you're gonna keep them apart for the bulk of the narrative? this is why the economy's in shambles.

#like when i start a ten + donna experience i expect to be giggling my ass off a ton before the massive emotional weight drops #at least Pest Control had the decency to frontload all their hijinx before separating them #i'm making this post bc i've just found the most egregious example with The Doctor Trap #they barely even say a word to each other before getting kidnapped in opposite directions!#there better be some fuckin' side-splittingly hilarious antics down the road to make up for this slight againt me personally #Nemonite Invasion actually kept them in the same place but didn't give them nearly enough idiodic banter #running my mouth #doctor who #dw novels #the 10th doctor #donna noble

until capcom proves me otherwise, this is my interpretation of leon throughout the entire film

#dont get me wrong okay i loved the movie #and i could watch these guys get up to hijinx and shenanigans for another 10 films #BUT it being marketed as a sequel to vendetta really had me believing they would follow up on Leon's state of mind in that film #and what is clearly a massive struggle with alcoholism and depression #especially considering he seemed to be fine in this film from what we saw in trailers #so at least some sort of reference or indication as to how he seemed to be doing so much better all of a sudden #but there was none of that #other than Dylan's offhand comment in his speech about Leon being 'all burnt out' from the endless missions he's being dragged into #so i am now choosing to believe he is simply not okay #and that maybe he's managed to get a handle on the drinking but this man is still deep in the throes of major passive depression #and that's that on that !#@ me about it capcom u cowards #resident evil #resident evil death island #re death island #re #death island spoilers #leon kennedy
