It’s been little over a year since you and and Sans got married and moved into your fixer upper. Some parts of the house are still a work in progress, but most of it is nice and cozy (besides for the basement, the basement is a hell scape).

- Staci’s torture vid still gets played for the county to eat popcorn to. except Staci’s torture isn’t just starvation anymore, he’s undergone further conditioning and is now doubly nuts and twice as committed to the cult and to all the Heralds (including Kit) *needed the opening for Judge!Staci in the New Dawn AU*

- Kit breaks in to save the poor brown eyed baby boy, and offers a prisoner exchange, but Staci begs to stay with Jacob and make himself useful and worthy of entering the Herald’s gate

- Kit goes to execute Eli (offering to do it without the use of the music box, girl is nothing but devoted) and in her state kills the two militia members who try to stop her

Idk how much of y'all on here are reading AHOI, but I thought I'd make a post here anyways. I'm going to put it on a temporary hiatus, because I just started college and have some other irl stuff going on alongside a really bad case of writing burnout that is making it really hard to get any writing done lately, much less writing for AHOI.

Long form fics tend to be much harder for me to write and stay motivated for. I put even more effort into AHOI specifically because of the Old Norse translations, the in-depth lore, rules, and teased storylines, and the fact that I've been writing it since 2022 so I'm way more invested in these guys than any of my other fics.

I'm going to try to write a few oneshots in various other fandoms and maybe in the universe of AHOI, but I can't promise anything. At the very least, I'm going to try and get a chapter up by mid-September when I've had some time to cool off from the irl shit, but I can't promise anything sooner. I will try to polish and post some drabbles from my WIP folder, though.

Part 1 Chapter 10: I am the one

In the original document, before I started my chapter-name-theming that I have now, this chapter was named "Imposter Herald" 🤣 These two chapters (ch10-11) are some of my favorites and I've probably reread them the most of the entirety of part 1. The dystopia future chapters were also way fun (in a horrific way), but there's something about the vibes in my Fallow Mire chapters that just... *chef's kiss* The bonding with the Chargers, her new nickname, the muck and rain, the first hints of Solarana 😚 More of Lanil’s tragic backstory unlocking as well as one her few fangirly, adorkable moments while thinking about my Tabris OC and Wardens in general...

... I just *clenches fist* I love it.
