Green Arrow for the Valentines Day asks

Green Arrow's tried dating in the past. He dated a cute little GCR 9J/J11 Class named Naomi and a LNER S1 Class named Uriel. He liked those Great Central engines!

But as for a serious long-term relationship, Arrow dated a WD Austerity that was loaned to the LNER during WWII.

"He treats me like an absolute queen~. As he usually does hehe" Kali answered for her husband from her very comfortable seat in her husband’s lap. She was in her very comfortable sleeping yukata and leaning back into her husband. His arms were wrapped lovingly around her waist and she had her hands resting on top of his to keep them there. Her sitting in Ghira’s lap also helped show off just how much bigger he was than her. He was still basically a full head taller than her. An opened box of chocolates, flowers, and two tea cups were placed on the tea table in front of the sofa they were relaxing on. 

Ghira nuzzled his cheek against his wife’s head and chuckled. “Only because that’s what you are to me dear.” 

“Oooooh stop you flatterer~!” Kali admonished her husband, but her smile, blush, and tone made it clear she loved it. Kali shifted just a little in his lap to be able to lean her head back and kissed his cheek. Ghira immediately responded with nuzzling his head against hers even more, earning a giggle from the smaller faunus as his beard tickled her face. She simply loved that beard~. Her Ghira looked so rugged and handsome with it! And when he had his glasses on, it completely changed his look to a pristine, refined intellectual man~.

Kali pulled away from her husband's affectionate rubbing against her face and looked him in the eyes. With a pure smile and nothing but love and honesty in her voice as she said, “I love you, my sweet big cat.”

Ghira didn’t even wait two seconds before responding. “And I love you my darling minx.”

And then they kissed. And just like their first kiss when they were younger. Just like their kiss when they got married. Just like their kiss when they found out they were going to be parents. This kiss was full of desire. Affection. And most of all…

Love.

I am looking after myself now, I decided to take a mini break from posting on this blog to give myself time to just chillax whilst I have work and night coding class tasks to do!

To answer your fun random questions:

I do! I belong to a tribe in Liberia called the Mano tribe. We're not well documented like the other African tribes but we have our own belief system (Animism)! I'm very spiritual as in I believe in what you can't see which includes ghosts and spirits! I would say when I was younger I had haunted experiences with the spirits in my room but I have less of that now thankfully! ♡

During school, it was Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Graphics Design and Media Studies. Nowadays, it's Programming (could sum that up to Computer Science), Cosmology, studying the Catholic religion (not from a religious pov but the history side) + Demonology and now I am slowly going to be learning Spanish randomly ♡

I have not drunk enough but I will at the end of the day, I promise! I have a bottle with the markings for each hour to drink! ♡

Ethan does like to surprise Tessa with a card on Valentine’s Day even though it’s been something they both have discussed to not do anything on the exact date. It would always be before or after Valentine’s Day.

Now the card in question would keep Tessa on her toes guessing what surprise has been slipped into her locker. One year it’s a heartfelt card with a quote from Tessa’s favorite poet and then the next would be a smart ass comment Tessa let slip that Ethan writes down for her at times funny, most of the time an eye roll as she reads it.

Ethan likes to keep things professional in front of others so no big displays of affection but he does love seeing that warmth spread across her face as she is walking around the hospital when she does receive his card.

Nicolette and Alyss really only have each other, and neither would expect anything from the other, but if one were to celebrate a day of love and happiness, Alyss would be the one to remember it. She would probably bring Nicolette something random, like a cool rock or an avocado or something. Whatever it would be, it would make Nicolette cry and she would never let it off of her person.

If Nicolette ended up celebrating, it would be 100% by accident. Something would catch her eye, probably silver or silver-looking jewelry, since that looks best on Alyss, and she would bring it back only to discover it was somehow the holiday for that gift. Alyss would go quiet and still, and Nicolette would be convinced she hates it, but really, Alyss loves it and has just overloaded and needs to reboot from the emotions.

Whitley and Willow spend their Valentines on the Beach, unbeknownst to Jacques or anyone else in their family

A mother and son walked along the decently warm sand of the beach in Argus that they had decided to take a small vacation at. They had chosen to come all the way out here for a vacation since it had gotten very cold this year in Atlas. Even with its artificial climate. Also, they’d really needed some time away from the company and Jacques. Their business was picking up and with it so was the stress in their home.

So finally Willow had decided to take her boy out on a small vacation while her husband stayed behind in Atlas to stress over the business. He’d most likely be too busy to notice they were even gone. They’d hopped on a private bullhead with some guards and flew all the way down to the warmer south. Not too far though, only across the sea to the town Agus. Cordova had been very happy to accept them when they arrived.

They had only planned to stay until after Valentine's day, but now it was almost a week later and they still didn’t want to go back. It was super nice not having Jacques breathing down their necks or trying to control them was a nice relief for once. That, and they didn’t need to be as careful with being seen together.

Whitley looked next to him and up at his mother. He had started seeing her in such a different light recently, but he did find her very beautiful. He gently reached out and touched her hand with his, a small attempt to hold it. 

However, instead of just letting him take her hand, Willow took his hand and pulled him towards her, and intertwined her arm with his. A content smile on her elegant, tired face. Whitley accepted this unplanned outcome with his own smile and simply leaned into her, continuing with their walk. 

He had been thinking about bringing up the topic of staying in Argus for so long with her, but honestly what was wrong with staying a few more days?

this valentine’s day i would like to profess my undying, ardent love for the callistephus chinensis (china aster)! the flower that contributed to me giving myself my name!!

not only are they a part of the (superior in my opinion) family of asteraceae, but also the genus’ (callistephus) etymology is derived from the greek words “kalli-” meaning “beautiful” and “stephos” meaning crown. they have beautiful chrysanthemum-esque blooms and come in all sorts of colours (my favourites being purple and white).

straying away from taxonomy a bit, asters in general are one of the birth flowers for september (my birth month!). they symbolise hope, faith and wisdom. and according to greek mythology, astraea (“star maiden”: goddess of purity, justice and innocence) cried because there weren't enough stars in the sky and when her tears hit the earth, they caused asters to bloom! continuing to follow the greek myth, she was the last goddess to live amongst the humans after the golden age, symbolising the decline of hope for humanity along with the decline of the ages. she left and became the constellation virgo i believe!

some more fun fun facts, asters have a most frequently observed number of n = 9 haploid chromosomes (2n = 18 for diploid). the numerology of the word “aster” also happens to be nine and guess what! september is the 9th month of the year! is it obvious i really like the number 9? almost as much as i love asters <3

Oh my gosh Anon I can't believe I missed this!

In book one it was Galentine's. Tessa hung out with her friends, no mopping around for her, she was happy being single at the time of course there were some feelings for a certain someone but happy nonetheless. Ethan was at the hospital working.

Book 2...still nothing my timeline maybe a bit if-ish. Tessa was working that day so plans to hand out with her gals. Ethan was at home.

Book 3, A day when they actually worked together at the hospital. Ethan surprised Tessa with a card the day before and thus began their tradition of doing a little something before or after. Tessa has no bad feelings for the holiday but she always wondered why just once a year you show the person you love how much you love them and damn if that didn't make Ethan fall more in love with her.

I don't have any Valentine's Day Fics...Maybe next year!
